Fake Pot

Did you hear about THIS one?

Hey folks,

In this week's health and Science segment, I have an Honest Question. You can answer here, or Email me at opntalk@gamil.com. I really am honestly asking this. Do you see this as a growing threat to the well being of our Children and Society in general? Do you see a problem with Pot itself?

I know, we have been having this argument for YEARS now. Is it as bad for you as Cigarettes? It is all natural. God put it here. Right? Is it a "gateway drug?" What if we were to legalize it? Would that reduce crime?

I have to admit that I DID try it once back when I was about 16. 15, or 16. I will also admit I DID inhale. It did nothing for me. I'm not kidding. It did absolutely NOTHING to me. I remember thinking to myself, "So what is the big deal?" Then I smoked a Menthol Cigarette. BAM!!!!!!! Knocked me out cold. Then, when I woke up in the field a little bit later, I thought to myself, "I can get the same effect by buying NyQuil. And I will not go to jail for it." So I never really got into all that. I have many friends that DID though. I still to this day know people who partake.

Now since they DO. Have for a long time, they would be a great case study. Did this lead them to other, harder drugs? Nope. Can they function daily? Yup. Do I see this equal to say Robbing a bank, committing Murder, or even stealing? No. Of course not. Do I think it is ridiculous that some people are sitting in Jail right now, sharing a cell with a Murderer, just because a Cop found a Joint in their pocket? Of course I do.

But NOW my smoking Brethren, you may have an alternative choice. Fake Pot. According to WPTV 5 - Parents need to know about fake weed

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - It lights up just like marijuana.

"It's going to start smelling really bad in here," said one user of the drug.

It'll even get you high.

But this herbal mixture, which some call fake pot, is perfectly legal.

"I could smoke this stuff in front of a cop and they might have something to say about it, but there is nothing they can technically do about it," said a man addicted to it, who asked to remain anonymous.

OK stop. Most say that Pot, I would assume Fake Pot also, are less additive than Cigarettes. But, of course, I could be wrong.

The Contact Five Investigators went undercover, in and out of local smoke shops, and not only did we find this burgeoning new drug, we're buying it. No ID check, no questions asked.

"It's bad stuff?" substance abuse interventionist Phil Bulone was asked. "Very bad, very bad and parents need to start learning about it," he replied. "You can actually have a heart attack or a seizure."
The same thing they use to say about Pot.

Bulone was a narcotics cop in New York City for 15 years. He says the hot new drug of choice is taking a toll on users across South Florida. Sometimes called legal pot, spice or genie, it's known generically as K2.
This is interesting.

A scientist in a lab apparently created K2 from a synthetic form of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. He did it for research purposes. His recipe leaked to the streets and is now being sprayed on potpourri and incense.

"It's sold in little bags, it's $20-$30 a gram for it," said the K2 addict. He said while it's commonly called fake pot, the effects are very real. "Munchies, light headedness, mild hallucinations, red eyes," he said.

"It raises the blood pressure and makes you very paranoid, causes damage to the lungs," said Bulone. "So I believe this is a drug that's really going to be dangerous."

Bulone works at the Drug Abuse Treatment Association, counseling teens at the Martin, St. Lucie and Palm Beach County juvenile detention centers. "I asked them, I said 'I'm going to be interviewed by Channel 5 and I'd like to know if any of you have tried it.' After a moment or two several of them raised their hands. When I asked, 'Why are you using it?' the big factor is that's it's not detectable in a urine test."
Uh ha. OK? I have another question. If this has the same thing as Pot, THC, why would it NOT show up? Is it because it is a synthetic form of THC? Do not worry folks, I'm sure they are working on a way to discover usage of this New Pot as we speak.

The Contact Five Investigators set out to see how easy it is to buy K2. Undercover, inside a local smoke shop, the clerk pointed out their most popular selling version of the drug. It's called snafu. We paid $20 and walked out with our stash. No questions asked.

At the next shop, a similar story. The brand of K2 sold there is called Black Magic Smoke. It comes in several flavors. Despite the no smoking reference on the packaging, the goodies were bagged, our cash accepted. Not even an ID check.

The Contact Five Investigators opened both packages, and just as the clerks promised, they were an herbal mixture that looks just like the K2 drug we've been warned about.

The Contact Five investigators also searched online and found this: k2cafe.org.

With the click of a mouse, the Contact Five Investigators bought the drug online, only had to sign a waiver pledging we were over 18, and would not be using it for human consumption.

"If I'm a parent and I go into my kids room and I find what I think looks like incense or potpourri, I need to be asking some questions?" the Contact Five Investigators asked Bulone.
UH, YEAH? Another excellent reason NOT to have your kid's Computer in their rooms.

"That's correct," he said. "If it appears to be incense or smells real sweet like crushed flowers, this could be an indication that it's K2."
So there you have it folks, Fake Pot. What say you?

IWA For Sunday 052310

Would it not be nice to actually have Government Officials DO THEIR JOBS?

Hey folks,

So Arizona got tired of not being able to enforce the Laws equally, because they we not allowed to ask for ID if they stopped an Illegal for Driving While intoxicated. They could and were expected to ask YOU, White, Black, or any other person for ID. But anyone that appeared to POSSIBLY be Illegal? Nope. Not allowed. I'm not kidding.

Police were handcuffed when they responded to Home Invasions, Accidents, ETC. Anytime they had to get involved, and there was even a reasonable suspicion that the Perp. should not be here to begin with, they were not allowed to ask. So minor offenses were fines and payment and the Prep was released to do it again.

Do you remember California? Last Updated: Thu, 04/17/2008 - 1:39pm

A law to deport illegal immigrants who commit drunken driving offenses was defeated by Democratic lawmakers in a state where dozens of innocent Americans have been killed or critically injured recently by illegal aliens driving under the influence.

The bill was introduced in the California Assembly after a drunken illegal immigrant struck a mother of four (Sara Cole) as she loaded her sons’ bikes into the family car. The severe blow crushed the northern California woman’s legs, leaving her partially paralyzed. The illegal immigrant driver (Lucio Rodriguez) had a previous drunken driving conviction, a suspended license and a blood alcohol level of more than twice the legal limit.

Multiple illegal alien offenders like Rodriguez will remain protected from automatic deportation in California thanks to Democratic lawmakers, who joined forces this week to defeat the bill known as Sara’s Law. The two legislators who voted for the much-needed ordinance in the state Assembly’s public safety committee were Republicans with the majority Democrats voting against it.

The legislation would have required local law enforcement agencies throughout the state to notify Immigration and Customs Enforcement when a person who gets arrested for driving under the influence causes bodily injury or property damage of more than $600 and cannot provide valid documentation of their legal status.

Attached to the proposed bill are dozens of tragic cases in which drunken illegal immigrants—many repeat offenders—murdered or critically injured innocent Americans throughout the country, including children, teenagers, young fathers and mothers. Examples include an intoxicated alien who ran a stop sign and killed a 14-year-old girl and her 4-year-old cousin, another who ran over a 31-year-old father of three while riding a bicycle on Sunday morning, a man who killed a 21-year-old woman by slamming his vehicle into the back of her sports car and a teenager seriously injured by an illegal immigrant who fled the scene but was later arrested for a separate offense.
Commonsense is it not? All those Law Makers should have to PERSONALLY tell families that lost loved ones WHY they did, when the person that took the life of their loved ones should not have even been here to begin with. Why this is a second or third offense, when they should have been deported after the FIRST.

So Arizona got tired of the insanity of the Federal Government being more concerned with getting Votes, than protecting it's people, they did something about it. You all know about this now. Gov. Jan Brewer, signed into Law, a Law to Enforce the Law. The Law is simple. 10 pages. Easy to understand. If the Policy get involved, and there is someone that should not be here to begin with, they have the DUTY to ask for their ID, and Proof of Citizenship. If they ARE here Illegally, Bye bye.

Well, that doesn't sit well with the Democrats that are counting on these people for their Votes come November. They have already lost half the country. They NEED Amnesty, in turn, NEW Voters. So the President, not reading the Bill, the Homeland Security Secretary, without reading the Bill, and even the Head Lawyer, not reading the Bill, came out and attacked, made fun of, and put down, the BILL, Arizona, and the AMERICAN PEOPLE who live there.

Gov. Jan Brewer, the Arizona Legislation, and the PEOPLE are not backing down. So they are ready to do what the Obama Regime will not do, ENFORCE THE LAW. But, WAIT! Not so fast. John Morton, Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for U.S. ICE, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said 'Screw You Arizona." During a meeting on Wednesday with the editorial board of the Chicago Tribune, he said this.

"I don't think the Arizona law, or laws like it, are the solution," Morton told the newspaper.

The best way to reduce illegal immigration is through a comprehensive federal approach and not a patchwork of state laws.

The law, which criminalizes being in the state illegally and requires authorities to check suspects for immigration status, is not good government."
It's NOT your job to decide what Laws are "Good Government" and what aren't. It is YOUR JOB to Enforce the Laws of the Land. Who are YOU to pick and choose what laws you want to enforce? You are the Idiot of the Week. It's because of people like you NOT doing their jobs, that force people like Gov. Jan Brewer would not be forced to clean up YOUR mess.

Securing the Boarder TOO Hard

"So why bother?"

Hey folks,

Happy Friday to you. Since it is Friday, time to go to the Emails. This one is just, well, here it is.

Thursday, May 20, 2010
By Edwin Mora

Senate Majority Whip Richard Durbin (D-Ill.)
Washington (CNSNews.com) -- Senator Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) said the effort to secure the U.S.-Mexico border is like trying to guarantee that "no narcotics and no guns are going to pass illegally" along I-95, a major highway up and down the Atlantic seaboard.

"The Mexico-U.S. border, almost 2,000 miles long, is the most frequently crossed international border in the world -- 250 million people cross annually, one-half million cross illegally," Durbin said on Tuesday during a hearing on drug enforcement in Mexico and Colombia conducted by the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Human Rights and the Law.

"So when there are folks who talk about sealing the border it's like saying, 'well, we're going to go out to I-95 and we're going to guarantee that no narcotics and no guns are going to pass illegally on interstate 95 today.'

Imagine the challenge that would pose to any governmental unit trying to enforce it," Durbin, the subcommittee chairman, said.

Interstate 95, which is approximately 1,900 miles long, runs along the east coast from Maine to Florida. It runs through some of the most densely populated urban areas in the country, including New York City, Boston and Washington, D.C.

The Illinois Democrat said the United States needs to "look beyond just the technology and the obstacles" and address the "situation south of the border" that, he said, is creating this force as people move north."

Durbin further said that before pointing the finger at someone else, the United States should take responsibility for its role in "fueling" drug violence in Mexico.

"I think it is disingenuous -- disingenuous of this committee and perhaps the Congress, [and] maybe the American people -- to stand in critical judgment of the situations in Mexico and Colombia without first conceding that our own failure when it comes to drug laws, establishing cohesive and effective ways to reduce the demand for drugs, has created this situation," he said.

"In fact, it is our U.S. dollars and our U.S. weapons that are fueling this war-like situation in Mexico and instability in many other countries," he said.

"We have a special responsibility not just to stand in criticism of what is happening in those countries but to acknowledge our own shortcomings and failures," Durbin said.

A top Justice Department attorney, meanwhile, testified at the hearing that Mexico's conviction rate for those who are arrested for drug trafficking is only 2 to 3 percent.

Lanny Breuer, who is an assistant attorney general in the Criminal Division, said Mexico needs to revamp its judicial system because its current one is not working.

"There's absolutely no question that as Mexico confronts this remarkable national threat and challenge that it has to reform its judicial system," Breuer testified.

David Johnson, assistant secretary for the State Department's Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, echoed Breuer's sentiment saying, "(T)he law enforcement and judicial institutions in Mexico were not sufficient to deal with the challenges they face from these well-organized drug cartels."

He suggested that the Mexican justice system "does have to move to an adversarial system" similar to the one used in the United States, where there prosecutors, defense lawyers, and judges are involved in the conviction process.

Johnson then agreed with Sen. Durbin, saying that the challenges Mexico faces in dealing with the drug cartels "is fueled significantly by demand of the United States for narcotics."

In light of the immigration reform debate, Durbin asked Johnson and Breuer, "(H)ow much needs to be invested to make certain that there's professional law enforcement and a rule of law south of the border as well as in our own country?""

"I think its absolutely critical that we do have law enforcement in Mexico, that we help our friends in Mexico have the institutions that they can protect their people, that their people can live in peace, that with living in peace they can have economic prosperity,"
Breuer said.

"Of course, if we don't, if we don't do that, if our Mexican friends can't achieve that there's no fence large enough to prevent the very forces [Mexicans being driven north because they don't feel safe in their own country] you're describing," he said.

"We have to have a comprehensive approach, we obviously have to have law enforcement, we have to secure borders, but we absolutely have to help our friends in Mexico have vital and effective institutions,"" Breuer added.

During his opening remarks, Durbin acknowledged that most of the drugs in the United States came from Mexico and Colombia.

"Let's be clear, combating drug trafficking in Mexico and Colombia is a vital U.S. national security interest,"said Durbin. "According to the Justice Department, Mexican drug cartels are active in every state in more than 230 American cities, and while cocaine production fell to an 11-year low in 2009, Colombia remains the world's largest cocaine producer."

However, he repeated, "the insatiable demand for illegal drugs in the United States keep the drug cartels in business."

You don't understand, it would just be too hard to secure the boarder. So let's stop talking about it shall we? Let's not have boarders. Right? Amazing.

Tuesday Primaries Not Good in Lib Land

Sanity Wins.

Hey folks,

How can this be seen as ANYTHING other than what it is? This IS a referendum on the EXTREME Liberal Loony Policies that we have been seeing since Obama and Crew were elected. It IS a referendum on out of control spending, Government take overs, and BIG Government in general. It IS a referendum on Politics first, People second. This applies to BOTH sides. It IS a referendum on PHONIES. People want REAL.

Yes folks, last night was not a good night for Obama, Pelosi, and Reid. It was NOT a good night for Liberalism. The Establishment got a wake up call. Anywhere you looked, Politics as usual, and phonies were being thrown out.

Scott P. Brown pulled off one of the biggest upsets in Massachusetts Political history, defeating Democrat Martha Coakley, to win the "Ted Kennedy Seat." Rand Paul defeated Trey Grayson in Kentucky's GOP Senate primary. He SHOULD beat Attorney General Jack Conway who won Senate Democratic nomination, beating Lt. Gov. Daniel Mongiardo, hands down.

One of the big News Stories coming up today? Sen. Arlen Specter is OUT! Let this be a CLEAR message to Charlie Crist here in Florida. Rep. Joe Sestak took Democratic Senate nomination, ousting five-term Sen. Arlen Specter. He will be facing Former Rep. Pat Toomey who won Republican Senate nomination.

Another big news story today? Sen. Blanche Lincoln failed to win the majority of votes in the Democratic primary. Lincoln is headed toward a June 8 runoff with Lt. Gov. Bill Halter for her Party's nomination. Yet? Whomever wins that, will face Rep. John Boozman who won Republican nomination for Senate.

In the Pennsylvania Governor's race, Attorney General Tom Corbett captured Republican nomination and will be facing Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato Who won Democratic nomination. My money would be on Tom Corbett.

In Oregon's race for Senate seat, Law professor Jim Huffman won Republican Senate nomination and will take on sitting Sen. Ron Wyden who won the Democratic nomination to seek a third full term. Who should also be ousted. On the Governor side, I think the Democrats are safe. Former Gov. John Kitzhaber won Democratic nomination who will take on Former Basketball Player Chris Dudley won the Republican nomination, defeating Allen Alley. But then again?

Talking about people wanting REAL? Sen. Arlen Specter was a RINO, who abandoned the Republican Party in 2009. I gave him an A for Honesty. I would love to see ALL RINOs either leave the Republican Party or be thrown out. Just be HONEST about who you are and where you stand. Well, the PEOPLE are tired of it. So Specter is out. As I said before, let this be a message to Florida's Crist.

Charlie Crist is nothing but a disappointment to me. I VOTED for this guy. In person he is a great guy. Very charismatic, personable. He said all the right things. Yet, after getting Elected, he showed himself for who he is. A RINO. He embraced Obama and his Policies and starting doing and saying things that NO Conservative should EVER do or say. When his supporters attempted to talk to him about it, he basically said "forget you, I'll do whatever I have to to stay in power and climb the latter." He even called the White House Chief of Staff looking to get Obama's support after leaving the Republican Party.

Along comes Republican Marco Rubio with 39% support, while Crist earns 31% of the vote and Democrat Kendrick Meek trails at 18%. Twelve percent (12%) are undecided. Rubio, like many others, has the backing of many in the Tea Party. Crist is toast.

Who will take over Crist's Governorship? Republican Attorney General Bill McCollum. The latest Polls show him in a 43% to 35% lead over Democrat Alex Sink. Then you also can not discount Millionaire and Business Executive Rick Scott, who came out of nowhere and has the backing of many in the Tea Party. Even though NO ONE has even really heard of this guy, a Rasmussen Report Poll, finds Scott, who is challenging McCollum for the GOP Gubernatorial nomination, is already competitive with Sink. He picks up 41% of the vote to Sink’s 40%. So even though most of the time a third Party Candidate takes votes away from Republicans, Sink can not even get ahead with THAT advantage.

Sanity won last night. Forget what you will hear today in the State Run MMD {Mass Media Drones} that simply repeat whatever the White House tells them. This IS without doubt, referendum on the EXTREME Liberal Loony Policies that we have been seeing since Obama and Crew were elected. It IS a referendum on Politics first, People second. The PEOPLE in this country WANT our Country BACK from Politicians that care only for Power, Money and Control. We WANT those in Power that care ONLY about the next election, to go away now. We WANT a Government FOR the People and BY the People. Not in theory, but in Practice. The Arrogant, Selfish, Deceitful, Haters of the REAL America, need not apply.

Insanity of The Anti Drilling Crowd

From the Energy Front for 051810

Hey folks,

Dale Earnhardt Sr. died in a famous Race. Shut down all Racing? A Plane crashed just this past weekend in South Florida. Ban all flying? People died. It is bad. So stop EVERYTHING? Maybe we should halt ALL further flights until every plane can be checked. Every Plane, every Company. Right?

Well, that's what some are saying about off shore drilling. Because of this accident, we must stop ALL Off Shore Oil Exploration and Drilling. A statement based solely on feelings and agendas, yet void of any thought or Logic whatsoever.

Now of course one would expect people like Rodger Schlickeisen,President and CEO of the Defenders of Wildlife, and Sierra Club Chairman Carl Pope to come out and make these insane statements. Like Pope who actually said this.
"BP doesn't know what it is doing -- and neither do any of the other oil companies."
That's like Obama saying that Banks, Car Companies, Insurance Companies, Doctors, ETC, do not know what THEY are doing and he and his Ilk know better. Hows that working out for us?

You see, Liberal Loon Policies require NO THOUGHT. Require NO Facts or Truth. They attempt to sell them based on nothing more than FEELINGS. They do not, or have the inability to, think about the long term consequences of their FEELINGS.

If it WAS just the Environmental Kooks out there, spouting off at the mouth, we could just laugh and move on with life. But it's not. Now there are some on the Loony Left that are in positions of power to enact laws to actually Ban ALL US Off Shore Drilling making statements like Sen. Bill Nelson.
"Drilling too close to the coast poses too great a risk to the economy and the environment of Florida and other coastal states."
{Sigh} And $5.00 plus a gallon is NOT a GREAT Risk to the Economy or ALL of the US? We have been there. At $4.00 a gallon, we had Single Moms trying to decide how to pay for gas to work their two jobs just to put food on their table. We had elderly on fixed incomes not able to put Heating Fuel in their Homes. We have prices on EVERYTHING Skyrocketing due to the increased Transportation Costs to get it to the stores. It was horrible. Then, President Bush said we are going to Drill Here, Drill More, and everyone will pay less. BAM!!!!!!! Overnight, prices plummeted back to reasonable levels.

So now, because of this Accident, here we go again. We must "reinstate the Moratorium on all offshore drilling.""Drilling too close to the coast poses too great a risk to the economy and the environment of Florida and other coastal states." " Halt all Exploration and Drilling until we can inspect ALL Oil Rigs." Etc.

Who's going to tell China that? China, Russia, Venezuela, Vietnam? They are exploring and preparing to Drill 60 miles off the US Coasts. That's closer than ANY of the US Companies. But that's OK? So we stop Exploring and Drilling, where do you think we will be getting ALL our Energy from? How much do you think we will be paying if ALL our Energy Sources are outside? Where does that put us Security wise?

Yet, they forget the fact that after 40 years, this is the only accident like this to happen. But then again, people are still using Chernobyl to argue against Nuclear Power.

All the evidence points to this being nothing more than a tragic Accident. ONE in Forty Years. It's not even as bad as they would like you to believe. Something like THRITY PERCENT of it has simply been eaten up by the Ocean. It's GONE. Nature is helping with the clean up. Yet? We now have people actively engaged in using this to further their insane agendas. Are our cars going to miraculously start running on Solar, Wind, or Hydrogen over night? Will we all get free Windmills put in our Back Yards to Power our homes? Are we going to have Solar powered Planes? Will the least amongst us be able to SURVIVE $5 to $10 Dollar a gallon Gas Prices? Anyone with an intelligence level about Second Grade can answer that. The answer is NO.

But then again, that IS the Liberal Mindset. Feelings. Hopes. Dreams. No thought required.

I Love Chris Christie

Preview for Sunday 051610

"What's with the new format? I do not dislike it. It does make it easier to distinguish between you and the article you are commenting about. Is that the reason?"
Hey folks,

Welcome to the Big Sunday Edition of the OPNTalk Blog. I AM Peter Carlock, and here we go. Yes. That IS the reason for the new format. I have been accused of and am from time to time, Plagiarism. Taking articles and "Making them mine." So I dropped the "Quotations" and started Bolding, anything that was not me. I thought that was pretty clear. But then you have me quoting me, others, extra, and some seem to get confused. Still. So from now on, I'll be trying this.

Another question I get often is why do I mindlessly follow Rush, Hannity, and others. They attempt to use similarities in what we are saying to attempt to prove a point. "You both said Obama is a Socialist." Etc.

Well, the truth is the truth. If me and you are talking to two completely different groups of people at two completely different times, and we repeat a TRUTH, we are going to say the same thing In other words, talking about the elections, Obama wins the Presidency. You say "Obama wins the Presidency." Does that mean you are copying me? No. Does that me we are in some kind of cahoots? No. It means we are both stating truth.

This is VASTLY different from all the examples I have given you in the past about the Mainstream Media Drones. "Towel Snapping." One of my all time favorites “political jujitsu.” These are just two examples of the mindless, script repeating, reporting that we have come to love from the MMD. These are not truths, nor facts. They are meant to sway opinion. They pass this garbage off as reporting News. Yet that is the farthest thing from the truth that they are doing.

OK. Coming right up today?

IWA For Sunday 051610

I said I love him. I really do. We need MORE Chris Christies Nation Wide.

Straight forward. Easy to understand. A set that hasn't been seen in Politics in a LONG time. Not to mention what he is doing is actually starting to work. Why do you think California, Texas, and even some in NY are talking about looking into some of his plans for THEIR States. I know, I know, New York? I doubt that one also. But he IS given a CLEAR example of the difference between Liberal Loon Policies, vs Conservatism. Add that together with his personality, he is really fun to watch. Be right back.

Pelosi Orders Catholic Church To Preach Amnesty

I'm not kidding.

Hey folks,

Do you remember a while back when our Congress wanted to strip Churches of their tax exempt status from talking about Politics? Oh yeah. They were in full out attack mode against Christian Churches that were talking about Abortion, Homosexuality, or anything to do with Voting against certain Candidates. Remember that?

Just some examples?

In 1999, then-San Francisco Supervisor Mark Leno sought to initiate legal action to revoke the Mormon Church’s tax-exempt status because the church had encouraged its members to support Proposition 22, the 2000 initiative that defined marriage as between a man and a woman in California. The church’s position was that preservation of traditional marriage is religious issue.

In 2007, a church refused to allow a same-sex civil union ceremony in its worship facility because homosexual sex is contrary to the church’s core doctrines (see court document). The New Jersey Division on Civil Rights revoked the church’s property tax exemption with respect to that facility, even though New Jersey law expressly exempts from property tax “all buildings actually used in the work of associations and corporations organized exclusively for religious purposes, including religious worship…” (N.J.S.A. 54:4-3.6).
WAIT!! One DID lose their Tax Exemption.

World Net Daily - Church loses tax-exempt status Organization had placed newspaper ads criticizing Bill Clinton

I forgot about that one.

Yesterday, a federal appeals court upheld the Internal Revenue Service's decision to revoke the tax-exempt status of a church that had paid for newspaper ads against then-presidential candidate Bill Clinton in 1992.

The revocation is the first in the history of the IRS and serves as a warning from the federal judiciary that churches may not fund partisan activity. U.S. law granting tax-exempt status also forbids tax-exempt organizations from involvement in "any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for public office."
In 2009? Remember this?

Examiner - Religion and politics: Time to revoke tax-exempt status for churches and ministries? November 15, 2009

The subject of tax-exempt status for churches came up again during the past election, when the controversy over President Obama's pastor, Jeremiah Wright, became an embarrassment for the candidate. Churches, and all not for profit groups granted 501 (c) 3 status, are not supposed to campaign, lobby, or be involved in political activities.

There is a growing discussion on the Internet and elsewhere about revoking the tax exempt status of churches and religious organizations that engage in political activities. Examples include the recent advocacy on both sides of the Proposition 8 Gay Marriage issue, and the repeated statements of Roman Catholic bishops and pastors that candidates supporting abortion should not receive Roman Catholic votes.
But WAIT a second. I understand they are arguing the nonexistent "Wall" and telling a Church what it can and can not say Violates the first Amendment. Not that they care a bit about the Constitution. So if this is all true, then how do you justify THIS

That's right folks, she just ordered the Catholic Church to Preach Amnesty.

‘But I want you to speak about it from the pulpit,’” said Pelosi. “I want you to instruct your, whatever the communication is -- the people, some of them, oppose immigration reform are sitting in those pews and you have to tell them that this is a manifestation of our living the Gospels.”

“Our patron saint of San Francisco, St. Francis of Assisi, he said, ‘preach the gospel --sometimes use words,’” said Pelosi. “We need the words to be said because it isn’t being picked up automatically.”
Lets forget the stupidity part of it. "preach the gospel --sometimes use words" How else would you PREACH the Gospel? Moron. Forget that. She just told the Catholic church to become ACTIVELY Engaged in Politics. Now do not misunderstand me. I personally have no problem with a Church educating their Congregation on Right and Wrong, or where a Person stands in reference to the teachings of the Church. First Amendment. I have no problem with that at all. The Left DOES. Over and over again. Yet here is pelosi telling the Catholic Church "Those bitter clingers, those Racist hicks sitting in your Pews, they need to be told that Amnesty and accepting Illegals is a 'manifestation of our living the Gospels.'" Really? Where? I bet she has never even read the Bible. She didn't even know what to call the Congregation. "I want you to instruct your, whatever the communication is -- the people" {Sigh}

Nancy, you twit. Your side is attempting to bar them, ANY Church, from talking politics. YOU and your ilk are looking at revoking Tax Exempt Statuses to help with the deficient. Now you are telling them that they need to push YOUR insane agenda? Seriously? What happened to the Wall?

I hope they told her to go pound sand. I hope they told her they would stay truth to the only True God. And his name AIN'T Obama. But it IS the Catholic church we are talking about.
Peter

Scientology Religion or Cult

I say Cult.

Hey folks,

We're back. OK. I have always had a problem with Scientology. I have always thought of it as a Cult. So when I saw this interview. I had to share it. Read it for yourself, and draw your own conclusions.

Ex-Scientologist Reveals Details Behind 'Dangerous Cult,' Tom Cruise in New Book
Most people know very little about Scientology aside from the fact that Tom Cruise, John Travolta and other celebrities are a part of it, and that it's had its fair share of controversy over the years. A new book is looking to pull back the curtain on the mysterious religion founded by L. Ron Hubbard, and the author certainly knows her stuff. Amy Scobee is a former Scientologist who was in the church for more than two decades, and worked in the all-important Celebrity Centers portion of the organization. In her just-released book, 'Scientology: Abuse at the Top,' Scobee details all of the troubling things she saw that made her flee what she once called her trusted religion, but now refers to as a "dangerous cult." Scobee spoke exclusively to PopEater over e-mail about her shocking book, her time with Tom Cruise and other Scientology bigwigs, and the (her words) brainwashing, systematic violence and slave labor camps she saw during her 27 years there. Her terrifying claims.

Could you explain your role within the Church of Scientology?

I worked in the upper management of Scientology for two decades. For a good portion of that time, I was responsible for the international network of Celebrity Centers, which service people in the field of the arts, government and sports -- people with high profiles in the world who are capable of creating a lot of influence on the population.

You were a member for 27 years. What was the spark plug for your departure?

I became less and less tolerant of the abuse that I witnessed as it got more and more harsh. People were very unhappy, family members were being separated, David Miscavige [the current "leader" of Scientology] committed assault and battery on my friends on numerous occasions. I could not justify continuing to support such an organization bent on threats and severe human rights violations, which were a dichotomy of the stated goals and reason I joined in the first place. I wanted to help people and create a better world based on love and compassion for mankind.

Why is there such a big push to recruit celebrities to Scientology?

A strategic priority for Scientology is to bring in big-name celebrities as they can influence whole populations. If they endorse Scientology, then masses will want to join, as well. That means expansion, more money, more members who in turn bring in others. The stated goal for Celebrity Center is to make celebrities into "walking success stories" of Scientology so they promote their success and attribute it to what they learned in Scientology.

In the press, there's often articles that are negative towards the Church. Why would they want to attract more celebrities, and in turn, more attention?

They think that any negative press is just a result of "disgruntled ex-members" and should be ignored.

Tom Cruise is by far the most known Scientologist. What types of interaction did you have with him during your time there, and what can you say about him as a person?

I met Tom Cruise and members of his family. I did a project to locate Scientologists for him to hire in order to fill specific positions in his household -- such as executive housekeeper, maid, cook, nanny. Personally, I do not have much respect for Tom at all for a few very important reasons. First of all, I think he has abused his "power" as a well-known figure to gain special favors from Scientology. I know of several examples of this, including the fact that I was personally assigned to select his personal entourage, which had nothing to do with my job at the time. I was a full-time staff member in the Sea Organization. I did not get paid for that service, I did not get thanked for that service. I was at the International Management base in Hemet when he came to do Scientology services for an extended period of time. The staff members there were not set up to service a celebrity at that property. People were pulled off their own jobs to cater to him. I knew of people [Sea org members] doing his laundry, supervising him in the course room, supervising his counseling, the music studio conference room was converted to a course room for him, many staff members were utilized to establish audio-visual facilities in his home. Many staff members had to stay up day and night, because on the 500 acre property there were some brown patches on the lawns -- it's in the middle of the desert in Hemet. Those brown patches could be seen by helicopter per David Miscavige, and Cruise was going to arrive via helicopter, so we laid sod for days -- night and day.

The other factor is that Tom Cruise has proclaimed David Miscavige to be a "LEADER OF LEADERS" and announced to all Scientologists attending the International Association of Scientologists Event in 2004 that David Miscavige was the best leader and said that he should know "because I've met them ALL." That's an arrogant statement, plus David Miscavige viciously beats his staff members. So to give Miscavige all this praise puts in concrete to Scientology followers to listen to this "leader" who has NO BUSINESS being in that position because he's DANGEROUS.

Recently, reports surfaced claiming that David Miscavige played Tom Cruise's confession tapes -- which are meant to be private -- to fellow church members for a laugh over drinks. Does that seem like something he'd do, or have you known this to be true?

Yes -- David Miscavige talked about people's private confidential information. I witnessed this myself. I included some specifics of this in my book regarding another celebrity. He also did it to staff -- snickering about things that came up in their confessionals and TELLING the specifics to whoever was at the meeting with him at the time. He did that to me. And he did that to many, many others. Including calling all-base staff briefings and reporting embarrassing details about supposed transgressions in order to intimidate people. One of my friends told me how Miscavige and he were standing outside when staff were walking between buildings -- like for lunch break or something -- and he pointed to random people giving "tid-bits" on each one as they passed, to "prove" how much "in the know" he is. It's a complete violation of the priest-penitent privilege and a total invasion of privacy.

What was the Church's reaction to his showdown with Matt Lauer?

I was already out of Scientology when that happened. I saw the show and thought Tom was being very arrogant towards Matt Lauer. I don't know what the Church response was because I wasn't there, but I presume they would have patted Tom on the back for "standing up" to Lauer and telling the world how bad psychiatric drugs are for people.

Scientology often gets criticized for mobilizing when there's a tragedy (9/11, the Haiti earthquake) as people feel they're trying to recruit. What can you share on that?

They ARE trying to recruit and create good PR for Scientology -- "good works, well publicized" is the goal, so as to become more accepted in society and to bring in new members. People are instructed to video [tape] their actions and get media if they can so this can then be shown at their very frequent PR events to "prove" to their members how much they are accepted and expanding and doing good for the world.

Do you think more and more celebrities will lean towards Scientology as time goes on, or has it hit its high point star-wise?

No. Scientology celebrities are already beginning to turn away and have publicly resigned their membership. Award-winning writer/director Paul Haggis, actor Jason Beghe and actor Larry Anderson are a few recent examples. I think more celebrities will walk away as they discover the truth and cease turning a blind eye to the blatant human rights violations so many people are exposing inside Scientology.

During an interview with ABC, you detail your experience with Scientology's purification treatment. You eventually began taking massive amounts of niacin, which led to some side effects. Could you detail that?

The purification program is supposed to be relatively short, where you exercise for a period of time per day and then sweat in the sauna in order to rid the body of any residual drugs and toxins. Miscavige decided that executives in International Management were "incompetent" as they were "dead heads" due to past drug histories being "unhandled." So he decided to create a weird variation of the purification program where many of us were put in the sauna 5 hours per day for MONTHS at a time. I was on it for 8 months and I know of several others who were on even longer. You take high dosages of niacin -- 5000 mg per day -- while on this program. I got freaked out that my body was being damaged. I had gray matter coming out of my pores and I asked if it could please be checked into by the lab or doctor, which was never done. This is the point when I started to plan my escape from that place. I felt trapped, and at risk both physically and mentally. And it didn't help to have an abusive and nasty leader dictating our lives at that point either. I was sent to Florida and I left from there in March 2005.

What good things are there that Scientology does that people may not know about?

I believe that the study technology has really helped people because I've read many rave success stories -- where people who could not learn before obtained simple tools to be able to read and learn and increase their competence as a result. One doesn't have to be a Scientologist to apply the basic tools of study, such as using a dictionary to clear words and terms one doesn't understand in order to obtain a conceptual understanding of what you are reading and to study a subject on a gradient and to balance the significance with the actual mass of what you're learning -- such as LOOK at the piece of equipment while reading the manual!

Scientology believes that one is a spiritual being that has lived before and will continue to live. This is not unique to Scientology, but a basis of a lot of religions. They do promote a moral code of love and compassion and following the laws of the land, which is helpful to those who will actually apply those concepts.

What are some of the worst things?

-- Family disconnection and their manipulation, blackmail and control through the threat of being cut off from family, which has devastating effects, and being denied your "only road to salvation as a spiritual being."

-- The Rehabilitation Project Force, which I cover in detail in my book. This is a slave labor camp within the Sea Organization where people who have supposedly messed up get sent for sometimes years and years. They are separated from family, segregated from the rest of the group, made to run everywhere, put on hard manual physical work and paid 1/4 the regular staff pay -- about $12 per WEEK. I've known several people on that program for over a decade for minor offenses. It's inhumane and that "program" should be shut down.

-- The way Scientology goes after critics. It's their policy to utterly annihilate the credibility of anyone speaking out against the "church." They have done brutal things in the past along these lines and are still pulling these stunts currently. I've been followed by private investigators – sometimes several at a time, my family's house watched, they've tried to get my in-laws (never even in Scientology) to kick me out of the family, which they refused and dismissed as a completely insane and evil proposal. They put out publications with vicious false and defamatory information about me to hopefully make the readers think I was incapable of accurately reporting on my observations with regards to their illegal activities.

-- Another key thing is INFORMATION CONTROL. This is a form of mind control. If one controls what you can and can not see or hear, one is unable to make a rational decision about that matter. Scientology specializes in information control -- one is banned from upper levels of "spiritual enlightenment' if it is discovered that you read anything negative about Scientology or talked to someone about it. People are put in for routine confessionals to find out if you "committed this sin." So you are careful to avoid any contact with the media when it comes to Scientology or to read about any exposure about what is going on at the highest echelons. If the general public knew, they would stop supporting Scientology. They would walk away. They'd have the INFORMATION to be able to make that decision. Instead, all they hear is what the head of Scientology (Miscavige) reports at their frequent PR events -- how the expansion is better than ever and popularity of Scientology is at an all-time high, etc. They applaud, thinking it's all wonderful and donate a lot of money for the cause to "keep the expansion going." It's very sad. I want people to have the truth. When I informed a family member of mine, who had been a dedicated Scientologist for about 30 years, what was really going on at the top of his church, he chose to walk away and he has officially resigned. That's the logical thing to do. He still believes the technology itself is beneficial, but will no longer support that organization – in fact he has also now requested all of his money back.

Something dangerous about Scientology is that they truly believe that they are the "only salvation" for mankind. They therefore consider they can do all sorts of things -- even if it breaks the law -- because it's "the greatest good" and forwards their overall mission to ensure everyone's future eternity. Crush a critic into silence, lie on national television, beat a staff member who is not behaving as you'd like, blackmail people using family disconnection and other threats to keep them in line, use personal information obtained on people to smear their name, keep people on the RPF for years, force staff to work around the clock for almost no pay, hide evidence that could be damning if it were discovered -- on and on. They are fanatics about being the ONLY salvation and the end justifies the means.

Germany recently declared Scientology a cult. Do you think that's an accurate definition?

Yes -- I believe Scientology is actually a dangerous cult. By definition, a "destructive cult" is a religion or other group which has caused or has a high probability of causing harm to its own members or to others. Some researchers define "harm" in this case with a narrow focus, specifically groups which have deliberately physically injured or killed other individuals, while others define the term more broadly and include emotional abuse among the types of harm inflicted. Both physical and spiritual/mental abuse has occurred, and from what I understand is continuing to occur, within Scientology -- at its highest ranks. I observed quite a bit of such destructive action and this is detailed in my new book.

Is there a single most-shocking incident or occasion that stands out in your mind from your time in Scientology?

Yes -- my realization that I had just spent 27 years of my life supporting what I now realize is a dangerous and destructive cult -- a so-called "religion" that hides behind its status as a "church" to cover up crimes and major human rights violations. My own personal integrity is intact and I am determined to expose the abuse to hopefully put it to an end.
Amy Scobee spent YEARS in it. So is she a disgruntled ex member, or someone that know what she is talking about. I'll let you decide.

Don't Swallow the Skin Lotion

Another Public Service Announcement this week.

Hey folks,

Time for the Health and Science Segment. This week, we have another Public service announcement. Listen up. This is for your own good. this goes out to all those people that are the reason that "Do not iron while wearing," and " caution, fire may burn you," tags are in place. According to CNS - Don't Swallow the Skin Lotion: FDA Trying to Save People From Themselves Thursday, May 13, 2010 By Susan Jones, Senior Editor

(CNSNews.com) – The Food and Drug Administration finds it necessary to warn the American public that swallowing an over-the-counter medication meant to be rubbed on the skin can have harmful effects.

The FDA says it has received reports of serious side effects -- including unconsciousness, hallucinations, and confusion -- in people who “mistakenly” swallowed Benadryl Extra Strength Itch Stopping Gel.
But it's not totally their fault. Some product you DO ingest. That would be SWALLOW, for those who need a little extra help in understanding.

Although some over-the-counter liquid Benadryl products are supposed to be swallowed, Benadryl Extra Strength Itch Stopping Gel is not one of them, the FDA warned Wednesday in a consumer alert. People who swallow it can receive dangerously large amounts of the active ingredient, diphenhydramine.

The topical remedy comes in a bottle similar to suntan lotions, and the label does say it’s for use on the skin only.
But that's not good enough. SO?

But to be on the safe side, the manufacturer, Johnson & Johnson, has changed the product label, adding a new, prominent instruction reading, “For Skin Use Only.” And the company has added a sticker to the product cap, also reading “For Skin Use Only.”

The FDA says Johnson & Johnson also has “initiated consumer studies to better understand factors that may contribute to consumers mistakenly swallowing Benadryl Extra Strength Itch Stopping Gel.”

The FDA is now encouraging manufacturers of similar products to follow Johnson & Johnson’s example and adopt similar changes to their labeling and packaging.

The agency also is reminding consumers to ““read the ‘Drug Facts’ box on the label, and check with a doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure which over-the-counter product is right for you.”

The FDA says consumers should store products for the skin separately from remedies that are swallowed.
{Laughing} Are people really this Stup,,,uh,,yeah, never mind. I love the way they end this.

And finally, the FDA notes that Benadryl Extra Strength Itch Stopping Gel is safe and effective when used on the skin, as directed.
So there you have it folks. Do not swallow those things that are meant to be APPLIED to skin. Store them in a separate place. And by ALL MEANS, read the directions.

About time a "Star" showed some REAL Character.

Hey folks,

Do you remember Roman Polanski? In 1977, after a photo shoot in Los Angeles, Polanski was arrested for the sexual assault of a 13 year old girl, Samantha Geimerhe. An aspiring model at the time, her family accused famed director Roman Polanski of drugging and then raping her during a March 10, 1977. The incident was said to follow a photo shoot in Los Angeles, California. Polanski was arrested and eventually pleaded guilty to statutory rape. He later pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor. To avoid sentencing, Polanski fled to his home in London, but moved on to France the following day.

Samantha was not the only one. British actress Charlotte Lewis told a similar story. She said that he knew how old she was. She said this.
"He met me and forced himself upon me in his apartment in Paris. He took advantage of me and I have lived with the effects of his behavior ever since it occurred. I've traveled to the U.S. at my own expense to make sure that justice is finally done and that Mr. Polanski gets what he deserves. All I want is justice."
So we have a pattern. As with most Sex Offenders, these are most likely NOT the only ones. There are usually a trail of victims that will forever remain in the darkness.

In September 2009, Polanski was arrested by Swiss police, because of his outstanding U.S. warrant when he entered the country to accept a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Zurich Film Festival. He is currently under House Arrest.

Now some Liberal Loons in the Show Business, have started a Petition on behalf of Polanski. Started by, and posted on French Philosopher Bernard-Henri Levy's Website, has received some very predominate Signatures. One that will not appear is Michael Douglas.

Now he was politically correct to a degree, telling a French Radio Show that it would be "unfair" for him to sign a petition for "somebody who did break the law."

Here is the story. According to My Way News - Michael Douglas won't sign petition for Polanski

CANNES, France (AP) - Michael Douglas says he will not sign a petition in support of director Roman Polanski, who is under house arrest in Switzerland in connection with a 33-year-old sex scandal.

Douglas, whose "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" is screening at the Cannes Film Festival, told French radio it would be "unfair" for him to sign a petition for "somebody who did break the law."

Other filmmakers at the festival, including French New Wave director Jean-Luc Godard and actor-director Mathieu Amalric, have signed the petition, which is posted on a Web site overseen by renowned French philosopher Bernard-Henri Levy.

Polanski was taken into custody in September and is currently under house arrest in Geneva.

The interview aired hours before British actress Charlotte Lewis claimed at a news conference in Los Angeles that she was sexually abused by Polanski in 1982 when she was 16.

Polanski pleaded guilty in 1978 to unlawful sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl. But after a judge said he would renege on the plea bargain, Polanski fled to his native France. He has been a fugitive since then.

In the interview with RTL radio broadcast on Friday, Douglas said Polanski had been given "some bad advice" when the scandal broke.
I have no idea what that means. He was given "some bad advice?" What? Run? No sure what he means by that. But, at the same time, I applaud him for NOT signing the petition.

Congratulations Mr. Douglas, you can add the Display of Logic Award to your Vast collection of Awards you have gotten over the years. I still think Romancing the stone was one of your best works ever.

IWA For Sunday 051610

Nowhere in the Word does it declare God sends you to Hell.

Hey folks.

Did you know that? God condemns NO ONE to Hell? Not kidding. Hell first comes into being for Lucifer and a third of the Angels that chose to follow him. Hell, was never intended for Mankind. "But what about the story of the Rich Man?" I'll get to that in a second.

So you have God. Creates the Heavens and the Earth. Creates all that is on the earth. Creates Mankind. Gives the Earth TO Mankind. Mankind chose to follow the works of Lucifer, and the Heart of man becomes evil continuously. God nearly wipes out all his creation save one Man found favor. Because of Noah, Mankind is spared. Then God so loved the World, Mankind, that he gave us his only begotten Son so that we may cry Abba Father. Translated? Daddy. Through the adoption of the Spirit. That's it? It really is that simple.

You ask. You receive. Accept what Jesus did for you. You are washed clean. You are saved. But the CHOICE is yours. You see. THAT is the key. You CHOOSE. We are all Sinners. We all are worthy of death. We can NEVER be good enough to go to Heaven on our own. God knows that. Jesus is the answer to this. His blood for your blood. His death for your death. His Resurrection for your eternal life. Nowhere in the Bible, including the Rich Man, does it say God simply condemns you. As a matter of fact, Romans 8:33 & 34

33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
God is not some hate filled old fart sitting on a throne waiting to throw you in Hell if you disobey him. He tells us this.

3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
If we are asked to forgive our Brother being evil, then how much more will God, being Holy, forgive US?

Then the Word, or Bible, also tells us about the White Throne Judgement. This tells us that those that are in Hell, the unbelievers, are then cast out and placed before God. Hell is temporary. He will then Judge those. I feel, MY OPINION, is that you will have one last chance at this time to accept Christ's Sacrifice. God told us the truth.

“… I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days …” (
Deuteronomy 30:19. The Rich man chose Money. He chose the best worldly things in life over God. The Poor man had nothing more than Faith. The Rich Man stored up his treasures here. The poor Man his treasures in Heaven. He got the reward. All a matter of choice.

So then we get someone like our Idiot of the Week. His name, Kazem Sedighi. He is an Iranian Cleric. An Islamofacist. He is also clueless as to the ways of God. According to the Breitbart - Iranian cleric defends earthquake-promiscuity link.

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - A prominent hard-line Iranian cleric who said promiscuity and immodest dress cause earthquakes says God may be holding off on natural disasters in the West in order to let people sin more and consign themselves to hell.

Kazem Sedighi sparked widespread derision with his pronouncements in a prayer sermon last month linking earthquakes with women's dress. In a new sermon Friday, he has defended and elaborated on his claim.

Sedighi notes that some might ask why there aren't more earthquakes and storms striking Western nations that are "up to their necks" in immorality.

He says the answer is that God allows some of those who "provoke His wrath" to continue sinning "so that they (eventually) go to the bottom of Hell."
Sorry. But no. He is wrong. He is an Idiot. "But Pete, Pat Robertson, head of the 700 club said that the Haiti Quake was a result of them making a pact with the Devil." Yup. IWA For Sunday 011710

It doesn't matter to me, who says things like this. Whomever does, shows complete ignorance of the very nature of God. He is a God of Love. Not a God of hate, anger, and vengeance. He will reap vengeance on those that oppress and attack His children, but even those, have an opportunity to be adopted. See Saul of Tarsus, who became Paul, who wrote most of the New Testament. As Saul, he was equal to Hitler in every way. Christ said to both, follow me. Hitler said no, became dead. Saul said yes, became Paul. One answer, to one question, posed by one, Jesus.

Killing, raping, and enslaving God's chosen people, to one of the greatest Saints to ever live? What is it that YOU have done in your life, that you think God will not forgive you for? Or better yet, God is not going to kill, and destroy, whole areas because a chick has a tight tee shirt on. Or short shorts. Sorry.

Congratulations Kazem Sedighi, you ARE the Idiot of the Week. Would you like to meet the REAL God? I would be happy to introduce you to Him.
Peter

Time Square Bomber NOT Tea Party Member. Damn!

"I guess there is no doubt now that this was another failed Terrorist Attack."

Hey folks,

"Turns out that the Time Square Bomber is NOT a Tea Party member. In the words of the State Run Media, and Obama, Damn!"

{Laughing} Happy Friday to ya. That's right. He was NOT a member of the Tea Party. He IS an Islamofacist. He DID have help, being an Islamofacist, he had backing and living finance, from those that want us dead. You know, TERRORISTS. Here is the LINK:

Times Online - Pakistani men held over links to Times Square bomb suspect, says FBI

Two Pakistani men arrested in raids in Massachusetts yesterday have a direct connection to the Times Square bomb plot suspect, officials said.

The men, held on immigration charges during one of a series of FBI raids, are alleged to have provided funds to Faisal Shahzad through the hawala system of Islamic money transfer.
Wait, Immigration Charges? Wait until the ACLU and the LWL {Left Wing Loons} hear about that. Were they mirandized? Why were they stopped? The Color of their skin? They are just poor immigrates attempting to make a better life for themselves. Right?

Officials said that a third man was taken into custody on suspicion of immigration violations during raids believed to be the result of the questioning of Mr Shahzad, who was arrested last week when he attempted to fly to Dubai.

The two men were seized in a dawn raid on a house in Watertown in the Boston suburbs. One had overstayed his visa and the other was already the subject of deportation proceedings. FBI agents also raided a petrol station in Brookline, Massachusetts, as well as two houses in New Jersey and another on Long Island, as a result of the interrogation of Mr Shahzad.

Mr Shahzad told investigators that he received weapons and explosives training from militants in Pakistan. The Pakistani Taleban has claimed responsibility for the plot. A senior Massachusetts law enforcement official said that the two men had transferred funds to Mr Shahzad from Pakistan but that it was unclear whether they were willing accomplices or simply innocent money dealers. Hawala, which is a centuries-old cash-transfer system used extensively across the Middle East and Central Asia, is a headache for law enforcement because it relies on trust and personal networks and leaves no paper or electronic trace.
Never mind all that. There are still some that hold out hope that this guy is a Bitter Clinger. A Christian, Republican, Tea Party Member, upset that we have a Black President.

“These people might be completely innocent and now know what they were providing money for, but it’s clear there’s a connection,” the official said.

Mr Shahzad was taken off an Emirates airliner last week after he attempted to leave the United States for Dubai two days after a car bomb failed to detonate in Times Square.

Police said that the bomb had alarm clocks connected to a can filled with fireworks, apparently intended to detonate gas cans and propane tanks. The device smouldered but did not explode. Federal agents traced Mr Shahzad through the vehicle’s previous owner in Connecticut

The failed plot is the first known strike outside Pakistan linked to the Pakistani Taleban and has raised fresh fears about the prospect of a large terrorist attack on American soil.

Because they know that we have an incredibly WEAK President. He is not going to do anything about it. He is too busy taken over this country. He doesn't CARE. They have NO FEAR of this Child who is Playing Dictator. Playing President.

Want MORE Proof that this is a failed Terrorist Attack? According to the Washington Post.

The Pakistani government has arrested a suspect with connections to a Pakistani militant group who said he acted as an accomplice to the accused Times Square bomber, U.S. officials said.

The suspect, whose arrest has not been previously disclosed, provided an “independent stream” of evidence that the Pakistani Taliban was behind the attack, including admitting helping Faisal Shahzad, the main suspect, travel into Pakistan’s tribal areas for bomb training.
Uh, OK, OK. So the guy is a Terrorist. But, uh, it's our fault,, uh, Bush's fault. Yeah. they hate us because of Bush. Obama is doing his best. Trust him. He will smile and make all better.

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer Is A Racist

That Hate Filled, Racist, Chauvinistic, well, no, but Homophobe, at it again.

Hey folks,

Can't wait to see how this one plays out. That's right, that Hate Filled, Racist, Chauvinistic, well, no, she is female, can't be Chauvinistic, but Homophobe, and uh, definitely Racist, is at it again.

How dare she. Doesn't she know our public School System? We do not have time to teach kids true Equality. We are busy teaching them why they are unique and more important than others. We are too busy teaching them that another Race Hates them just because of the color of their skin. We are too busy teaching them that another Race of people are using them and keeping them down. Yes folks, we would LOVE to teach them true Equality, but we just can't. No time.

Just like we do not have time to teach our kids the rudimentary basics that they will need in life. Forget the fact that a growing number of kids can't read their Diploma when they graduate. We are too busy teaching them why Susie has two Mommies. How to put a condemn on a Banana. Forget the fact that most kids nowadays that get a job working at a Supermarket can't count back change if the Computer goes down.

Yes forget basic Science. We are too busy teaching them the Scientific impossibility of how we got here, and the fact that we are Evil, no, wait, can't use that word, uh, we are bad, and we are killing the Planet.

We can't teach them about the Founding Fathers and the GREATNESS of this country. We are too busy sending them home for wearing a Flag. Too busy worrying about upsetting someone. Forget teaching them about the Constitution, or what Socialism really is. They may discover that they are watching some attempting to destroy this country right in front of their eyes. These ARE future Voters you know.

So you see, we just do not have time to teach them how to become TRUE Americans, and or, ANY other Country Citizens, means to assimilate into that culture and become a productive member of that Society. Yes, we are just too busy. So forget TRUE Equality. We need to teach them why THEY are so important. That others will hate them. Others have wronged them in the past. We are too busy teaching them how to hate. We have no time for this nonsense.

Yes folks, Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer is a Racist. Now she is targeting "Ethnic Studies" in Arizona's Public Schools. But what's possibly wrong with that? Segregation, Hate, Racial Superiority, and is completely POINTLESS. Wasting time on other thing that the Kiddies SHOULD be learning.

Imagine if you will, a School System that gathered up nothing but White Students. Taught them how great they are. Taught them that other Racist will hate them because they are White. Teaches them to be leery of any other Race but their own. Can you imagine that? Well, that's what they ARE doing in the Public School Systems all across the country. But it is not the Whites they are doing this with. It is Minorities, teaching them to Hate White people. Or at least, because of the past, be leery of them. Anyone that is white is a potential Racist and Bigot, and you need to be aware of that. Uh, yes. Teaching true equality. {Sigh}

So what is this big to do? In Arizona, State Schools Chief Tom Horne feels that the Tucson school district's Mexican-American studies program teaches Latino students that they are oppressed by white people. He also believes that Public Schools should not be encouraging Students to resent a particular Race. Really? I know, that's Racist. How dare he. Horne, who this piece points out gladly, a Republican running for Attorney General, also said the program promotes "Ethnic Chauvinism" and Racial resentment toward Whites while segregating Students by Race. Which it does. He's been trying to restrict it ever since he learned that Hispanic civil rights activist Dolores Huerta told students in 2006 that "Republicans hate Latinos." Future Voters folks.

So Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer signs this Laws targeting this type of teachings. Well, you know, according to the AP, and soon all other News Outlets,

The Tucson Unified School District program offers specialized courses in African-American, Mexican-American and Native-American studies that focus on history and literature and include information about the influence of a particular ethnic group.

For example, in the Mexican-American Studies program, an American history course explores the role of Hispanics in the Vietnam War, and a literature course emphasizes Latino authors.
All sweetness and light. Just teaching them how they matter. How they are important. You are against it because YOU hate anyone that doesn't look like you. You Racist. Truth is, they ARE Teaching them segregation and to distrust anyone that doesn't look like THEM.

So I'm sure that Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer will be front page news again. Should be interesting to see how this unfolds.

Elena Kagan IS Obama

This should be no surprise.

Hey folks,

{Sigh} What do I think of Elena Kagan? She is an Idiot. She has no experience. She is a Liberal loon. The Media is attempting to pass her off as one of the most intelligent people in the room when the evidence points to otherwise. She IS Obama.

Seriously folks, she is a joke. she should be laughed all the way out of Washington. the MMD {Mass Media Drones} should have a FIELD DAY with her. Not attempt to paint a false portrait of who she is NOT. But we all know true journalism is dead, and they simply repeat whatever they are told to. True or not.

Even someone that KNOWS her well, claims he has no idea where she stands on issues. He has no idea WHAT experience she has for this job. He is seriously at a loss. His name is Clinton News Network's own Jeffrey Toobin. You know, CNN? The Network who's Co-Founder even thinks has become nothing more than a joke. But this guy KNOWS her. Jeffrey Toobin writes this.

I met Elena on our first day of law school at Harvard in the fall of 1983. We were introduced by a mutual friend, and we were assigned to the same section—the group of a hundred and forty or so students who took our first-year classes together. Elena and I and two other students (joined occasionally by others) formed a study group, and we worked together for the entire year. In our second and third years, we were on law review together. When she ran for president of the law review, I was a sort of unofficial campaign manager for her. She finished second.

Elena danced at our wedding in 1986. When my wife, Amy, and I bought our first apartment, Elena’s father was our lawyer; he had a small real estate law firm in New York. (He died in 1994.) When Elena’s mother died two years ago, I visited the family as they sat shiva in the apartment where she grew up on the West Side.

We are old friends. So my initial reaction to her nomination is a simple one: happiness for her. As I cover her nomination, and, if she is confirmed (as she likely will be) her career on the Court, readers should know this history and decide what difference, if any, it makes. For starters, from now on, I’ll be calling her Kagan, not Elena.
So this guy KNOWS her. She even danced at his wedding. so what does he think of her? As far as her nomination to the highest Court in the land? He is confused.

Judgment, values, and politics are what matters on the Court. And here I am somewhat at a loss. Clearly, she’s a Democrat. She was a highly regarded member of the White House staff during the Clinton years, but her own views were and are something of a mystery. She has written relatively little, and nothing of great consequence.
He wraps it up with this.

But on the Court, Kagan will have to do something she’s not done before. Show her hand. Develop a clear ideology. Make tough votes. I have little doubt she’s up to the job, but am less clear on how she’ll do it.
So being her friend, and a paid member of the Obama State Run MMD, he is furthering the notion that she is highly intelligent. But even he, a "long time friend" of hers has no idea what she did to qualify her for this Nomination. but then again, Obama is the least qualified person to ever win the Presidency. He has no experience whatsoever. Look where we are now.

We DO know where she stands. She is a Socialist. She hates the Constitution. She wants to remake this country. This is one of those little things she has written about that her friend doesn't want you to know about. You know, "nothing of great consequence." So don't worry about reading it. She IS Obama. The White, Female version of Obama. Of course he would nominate her. She will also be easily controlled.

As for her intelligence? Seriously. I have a higher than normal intelligence level. Not bragging, just a fact. I know many that are truly FAR more Intelligent than I. How about you? Let me ask you this. How many of you, have EVER, gotten home, or to work, got out of your car, leaving the keys in the ignition and the vehicle running, and leaving it running all night long? She has. Richard Epstein, another Professor at the school she was at said this.

“A couple of times when she was so focused on her work, she would park her car and leave it running overnight,”
THAT is a sign of intelligence? Most of the time, when people turn 50, they do something like that, people start asking about Alzheimer's or some other kind of brain dysfunction. I know, I know, this happened when she was younger. That's even worse. Then maybe she is simply an Idiot. Either way, it is hardly a sign of intelligence. But then again, NO ONE has shown us ANY PROOF whatsoever that Obama is anything more than an Idiot. So why should we expect anything different for Ms. Elena Kagan? We should not. What we should expect is a false, media created image of who they want you to believe she is. Just like Obama.

Sabotage Said To Be Unlikely

Preview For Sunday 050910

Hey folks,

Happy Mother's Day to you. Welcome to the Big Sunday Edition of the OPNTalk Blog. Yes, that right. My question was asked at the last API / Blogger Conference Call and it was said to be unlikely by the Experts. Yes. sorry my friends, I could not make this one either. I had prior obligations. But I was there in Spirit. I have just posted the Transcript of the entire Conference Call that I would have loved to have attended.

At the 27:46 mark, Tim Hurst from Ecopolitology had the following exchange with Richard Ranger, Upstream/Industry Operations, API, and Robin Rorick, Group Director, Marine & Security, API.

27:46 MR. HURST: Yeah, this is Tim Hurst from Ecopolitology. There are a few reports or I guess pundit comments {That would be me} in the days after the accident that this could have been some kind of inside job or sabotage of some sort committed by environmentalists. I was hoping – I understand that we're still a long way from figuring out a cause here.

I was hoping someone from API could comment on how easy or difficult it would be for someone to get on a offshore oil rig and sabotage it somehow.

28:21 MR. RANGER: We have no information on that, Tim, but the – it‟s real hard to get on rigs. You don't just drive a boat up to them and get off on the ladder. So the people who are on the rig are people who are on a manifest who have a job to do.

28:44 ROBIN RORICK: And I would add – this is Robin RORICK – I would agree with Richard. We're talking probably well in excess of 80 feet from the barge to the lowest point on the platform that you would have to scale. These platforms are in the middle of the water so it's not like you can really sneak up on them.

And then it is – there are crews that work closely with one another on these rigs, so if there was someone who should not have been there, that also would have been fairly obvious.

And then lastly, I would say that this equipment is extremely complicated. And it would take someone with a lot of knowledge and a lot of time to really conduct any sort of sabotage. Now, that being said, I have no idea what the cause of this incident is and I can't really speak to whether or not this was or was not the result of any sort of sabotage.

OK. Logical, and makes a lot of sense. I'm not fully convinced YET that this, the Refinery, and even the Coal Mines, are all completely unrelated or coincidental accidents, but I do understand the obstacles would be enormous to over come to pull it off. I can't wait to see the results of the Investigation.

Oh, and I'm not sure what the problem is here. So Palin endorsed Carly Fiorina, who is pro-life, pro-traditional marriage, pro-military and pro-strict border security and against amnesty," Palin wrote. "Carly is also a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. Like me, she is a member of the (National Rifle Association), has a 100 percent NRA rating, and she and her husband are gun owners,"over Chuck DeVore.

Anyone that can get Boxer out? I will be happy with.. OK folks, be right back.

Happy Mother's Day!

If I Could Give My Mom the World

If I could give my mom the world
Or anything she wanted,
I'd give her my own heart and soul
And leave my own heart haunted.
I'd take upon myself her life
With all its strife and pain,
And let her ease into some space
Where she could live again.

The pain for me would not be pain,
At least not for a while;
For I'd be doing it for her,
And I would see her smile.

I wish that I could take her heart
And cleanse it with my tears,
And make her sorrow go away,
And answer all her fears.

I wish, I wish, but then I can't,
As I watch helplessly,
And take her in my arms and say
I wish that it were me.

But loving is a hard, hard way,
With all the pain it brings.
And yet there is no other way
To touch the heart of things
.
