Hey folks,
I'll tell you a funny story. I was invited to attend this past Conference Call between API {The American Petroleum Institute and a number of Bloggers. Other obligations kept me from taking part. However, I send Jane a question to ask for me during the call, and she responded, "I'm sorry I did not get to ask your question during the call." You see folks, there is a good reason for that. I sent my question in on FRIDAY morning. The call took place this past THURSDAY. Last time I checked, Jane, nor the API, have found a way to accomplish time travel, so, there you go. {Laughing} But here is the Transcript, and of course, you can always HEAR the call over at the Energy Tomorrow Blog.

I got this in the Emails on Thursday, or Friday of this past week. I know you heard there were tens of thousands. But the number is more than a million, that marched on Washington in opposition to Obamacare. More Rallies are coming up. I may even be attending the one in October with "Joe the Plumber." Here it is.

1.7 million Patriots invade D.C.! Congress - can you hear us now?
9.12.2009 - Welcome to the American Revolution!
Patriots, we made history again this weekend. More than 1.7 million Tea Party Patriots from across the country gathered in the streets of our nation's capitol Saturday for the March on D.C. Our numbers surpassed those of the Million Man March and the attendees of President Obama's inauguration.
As each hour passed, the crowd of Patriots invading the streets grew massive. The demonstrations of freedom and liberty moved even the toughest of Patriots to tears.
South Florida Tea Party founder Everett Wilkinson made us proud as one of the inspirational speakers at the event. He urged fellow Patriots to keep fighting and reminded them that "in less time than President Obama was a senator before running for president - 150 days - we have grown from thousands to millions."
"This revolution is about freedom," he said. "The founding fathers started with a clear slate and set us on our path to freedom. They were rightfully suspicious of government. Overregulation has cluttered the pathway to freedom. The government must get out of the way and let we the people set the course for freedom and prosperity."
"The future is ours. We the Patriots will dictate the fate of our country - not some liberal fringe group or lobbyist but we the people."
"Our freedom is a sacred right, but with it comes a solemn responsibility. It is apparent today by the Patriots in presence that the battle for freedom will be won so long as we maintain our vigilance. We must pledge today as brothers and sisters in liberty that we will not stop. We will not falter till the path to freedom is once again secured."
We want to thank all the volunteers and Patriots who made the March on D.C. a successful, historical event. We are especially grateful for FreedomWorks & Tea Party Patriots for organizing the march.
And we also want to thank the South Florida Patriots who couldn't travel to Washington, D.C. but who brought the march home to Fort Lauderdale. Hundreds of Patriots staged their own Dancing with the Czars in our South Florida streets, just as Patriots in our nation's capitol did. It just goes to show that no matter where or when, we Patriots will ensure our voices are heard.
Thank you for all of your hard work - and please keep going strong. We need your help for these upcoming events.

Not Enough H1N1 Vaccine Production
Yet, 10 percent of what IS produced will go to foreign countries.

In this weeks Health and Science Segment, we are going to check in on the Swine Flu, H1N1 vaccine production. With three deaths right here in Sunny South Florida, and many more across the country OUTSIDE of Flu Season, many are concerned about what will happen when Flu Season comes back in full force.
On August 31 of this year, we got some bad news. It may be worse than we thought RIGHT NOW. Tamiflu-resistant H1N1 virus. According to WHO, there are now 12 Countries, including China and Singapore, reporting a mutation in the virus. That is NOT good folks. Such cases have also been found in Japan, US, Hong Kong, Denmark and Canada.
Still, the Experts say we need to take the New H1N1 Flu Shot. Problem two? There may not be enough to go around. According to Reuters - H1N1 vaccine production far less than forecast: WHO
GENEVA (Reuters) – Annual production of H1N1 vaccine will be "substantially less" than the 4.9 billion doses the World Health Organization (WHO) previously forecast was possible, a spokesman said on Friday.
WHO spokesman Gregory Hartl said that based on clinical test results from some 25 drugmakers, weekly production was less than 94 million doses, although it seemed one dose would be enough to give immunity against the swine flu strain.
MAYBE. But then again, Do we KNOW that it is SAFE?
"The real figure will be substantially less than 4.9 billion," Hartl told reporters.
The WHO previously forecast one third of the world's nearly seven billion people could be affected by the H1N1 pandemic, but so far the vast majority of victims are suffering only mild symptoms.
Hartl gave no exact new forecast but noted WHO's previous estimate of 4.9 billion had been based on drugmakers switching all production of seasonal flu vaccine to the new vaccine against the H1N1 strain and getting good yields.
In a statement, the WHO said current supplies of pandemic vaccine are "inadequate for a world population in which virtually everyone is susceptible to infection."
So the experts were wrong again. Big surprise. It's out there. It's coming. TRUST me folks, if you start feeling ill. DO NOT WAIT! Go see your Doctor NOW. I waited. I was down for 10 days. Take precautions. Wash your hands. If you are around someone that appears ill, LEAVE. In line at a store? get out of line and wait. Do not mess around with this. If you do start feeling ill. STAY HOME! Do not infect anyone else. This is not the common cold we are talking about. This is serious stuff. Be smart, be cautious, be well.

Have to admit, they WERE trying to help the poor.

Let's wrap things up with the IWA. No matter how you feel about this, you do have to admit, they really were attempting to help the poor. I mean let's face it, Prostitutes and Pimps make WAY less than your typical White Business Owner. Right?
Look, we all know who ACORN is. They are nothing more than Thugs. A extension of the culture than Obama grew up in. He IS ACORN. He helped TRAIN some ACORN members. They got him elected, through election fraud and Voter intimidation at the Polls, and he made sure that they got BILLIONS of YOUR Tax money as a pay back. These are ALL facts. We know who and what these people are. But the Mainstream Media refused to investigate them. The Government, OBAMA, refused to investigate them. Just like they refused to investigate the Black Panthers for Voter Intimidation.
So a private citizen decided to conduct a sting. Just to see what they would do. You know the story. He posed as a Pimp and a Girl posed as a Prostitute, and they went to various ACORN Offices seeking advice on how to avoid paying taxes and how to smuggle young girls into this country for Prostitution.
Last count, there are FOUR different Videos, where ALL four offices gave them advice on how to do this. In San Diego, ACORN has come out and FIRED the Employee caught on tape giving them advice on how to bring in young Girls. According to the AP - San Diego ACORN officials fire worker over video
NATIONAL CITY, Calif. – ACORN officials in San Diego have fired an employee caught on video providing advice about human smuggling to a couple posing as a pimp and a prostitute.
Which brings us to our Idiot of the Week. No. Not the Employee. The Head Organizer in San Diego. The 16 year old looking David Lagstein. Seriously folks. He looks like a kid. He doesn't seem all that bright either.
David Lagstein, the group's head organizer in San Diego, initially said Thursday that he believed Juan Carlos Vera did his best to deal with a challenging situation and would not be disciplined. But three hours later, Lagstein reversed that decision.
{Laughing} Juan Carlos Vera did his best to deal with a challenging situation. It IS a "challenging situation" to smuggle 12 and 13 year old Girls into this country for forced Prostitution. {Smile}
He said he reevaluated the videos posted online in which Vera was secretly filmed answering questions about smuggling people into the U.S. through Tijuana. Lagstein said after further discussion with supervisors and state ACORN officials he decided Vera's conduct was "unacceptable."
TRANSLATION: Throw this guy under the bus. We are about to lose BILLIONS of dollars. Get rid of him. NOW!
Earlier Thursday the House followed the Senate's lead in denying all federal funding for the scandal-tainted community organizing group.
Sorry Mr. Lagstein, or should I call you Davey, your organization IS nothing more than a scam. People are getting rich on the backs of the poor. ACORN SHOULD be shut down completely. Congratulations Davey, you ARE the Idiot of the Week. May your next "challenging situation" be that of choosing what flavor Ice Cream you would like to have.

FACTS: Obama's Russia Appeasement
Again, this is no surprise

Yes the big news all abuzz yesterday was Obama's plan to scrap the Missile Defense Plans in Poland and the Czech Republic. One of his reasons for this? "Iran’s long-range missile program hasn’t progressed as rapidly as previously estimated." That is simply NOT TRUE! Not to mention they have been BUYING Weapons technology from North Korea as well. But these are the same people that said Iran was YEARS away from Nuclear Technology. The ability to build a bomb. Oops.
The truth is, this is simply an appeasement towards Russia. Russia doesn't want it. SO? Obama dutifully complies. The Heritage Foundation's Morning Bell, has an EXCELLENT take on this. According to The Morning Bell - Surrender and Betrayal Do Not Make Us Safer
Last month we reported that news outlets in Poland were saying that the Obama administration had made the decision to abandon our anti-missile shield in Poland and the Czech Republic. Today Czech Premier Jan Fischer confirmed those reports telling reporters that President Obama phoned him overnight to say that “his government is pulling out of plans to build a missile defense radar on Czech territory.”
According to the Wall Street Journal, the Obama administration is justifying its decision on their determination that Iran’s long-range missile program hasn’t progressed as rapidly as previously estimated. This despite the facts that:
On February 2nd, Iran successfully launched a satellite into orbit using a rocket with technology similar to that used in a long-range ballistic missile.
On May 20th, Iran test-fired a 1200-mile solid-fueled two-stage ballistic missile.
On July 15th, Germany’s foreign intelligence service, BND, announced that Iran will be able to produce and test a nuclear weapon within six months. BND also stated that it has “no doubt” that Iran’s missile program is aimed solely at the production of nuclear warheads.
On August 3rd, The Times of London reported that Western intelligence sources concluded that Iran has not only perfected the technology to build and detonate a nuclear weapon, could assemble a weapon in just six months, and could deliver the weapon on Iran’s Shebab-3 ballistic missile.
Just yesterday French President Nicolas Sarkozy said: “It is a certainty to all of our secret services. Iran is working today on a nuclear [weapons] program.”
The only country other than Iran that is happy with President Obama’s decision is Russia. State Duma foreign affairs committee head Konstantin Kosachev told the Associated Press: “The U.S. president’s decision is a well-thought (out) and systematic one. Now we can talk about restoration of (the) strategic partnership between Russia and the United States.” But, in fact, the missile defense capitulation is just one in a long line of Obama surrenders to Russia. Heritage fellow Ariel Cohen explains from Moscow:
All these concessions the Russians pocketed, smiled, and moved on to new demands: European security reconfiguration; additional global reserve currency which would weaken the dollar; and a strong push-back on sanctions against the Iranian nuclear program. …. While the Russians clearly like the better atmospherics, and somewhat toned down the shrill anti-American rhetoric, the Iranians and the Venezuelans, who also received Obama’s “stretched hand” and, in case of Hugo Chavez, a pat on the back, are refusing to play ball. They, like their friends in Moscow, are also pocketing concessions while continuing the mischief.
The decision to abandon the “third site” deployment of 10 missile interceptors in Poland and a radar in the Czech Republic violates President Obama’s pledge to support missile defense that is “pragmatic and cost-effective.” Ground based missile defense is effective, affordable, and available now. According to the Congressional Budget Office, alternatives to the third site do not provide a comparable level of defense. The CBO concluded that the estimated $9-14 billion 20-year cost of the third site was half of the estimated costs of a sea-based alternative. Abandoning our best missile defense option in Europe only encourages Iran to speed up their ballistic missile program so that they can get their threat in place before a European missile defense system is available.
The Poles and the Czechs know what it means to live under the boot of Russian domination. The third-site issue is of huge symbolic importance to both nations, and if Moscow emerges the victor, with an effective veto over U.S. policy in Europe, it would represent a massive surrender of American strategic influence and a betrayal of two of its closest friends in the region.

So once again, Obama chooses our ENEMIES over our Allies. Once again, Obama appeases those that he idolizes. He LOVES Dictators. He wants to be one. He LOVES Socialistic and Fascist Societies. That is what he wants to bring about for America. He LOVES Tyranny. He is on a quest for it here. It really is, JUST that simple.

Last month we reported that news outlets in Poland were saying that the Obama administration had made the decision to abandon our anti-missile shield in Poland and the Czech Republic. Today Czech Premier Jan Fischer confirmed those reports telling reporters that President Obama phoned him overnight to say that “his government is pulling out of plans to build a missile defense radar on Czech territory.”
According to the Wall Street Journal, the Obama administration is justifying its decision on their determination that Iran’s long-range missile program hasn’t progressed as rapidly as previously estimated. This despite the facts that:On February 2nd, Iran successfully launched a satellite into orbit using a rocket with technology similar to that used in a long-range ballistic missile.
On May 20th, Iran test-fired a 1200-mile solid-fueled two-stage ballistic missile.
On July 15th, Germany’s foreign intelligence service, BND, announced that Iran will be able to produce and test a nuclear weapon within six months. BND also stated that it has “no doubt” that Iran’s missile program is aimed solely at the production of nuclear warheads.
On August 3rd, The Times of London reported that Western intelligence sources concluded that Iran has not only perfected the technology to build and detonate a nuclear weapon, could assemble a weapon in just six months, and could deliver the weapon on Iran’s Shebab-3 ballistic missile.
Just yesterday French President Nicolas Sarkozy said: “It is a certainty to all of our secret services. Iran is working today on a nuclear [weapons] program.”
The only country other than Iran that is happy with President Obama’s decision is Russia. State Duma foreign affairs committee head Konstantin Kosachev told the Associated Press: “The U.S. president’s decision is a well-thought (out) and systematic one. Now we can talk about restoration of (the) strategic partnership between Russia and the United States.” But, in fact, the missile defense capitulation is just one in a long line of Obama surrenders to Russia. Heritage fellow Ariel Cohen explains from Moscow:
All these concessions the Russians pocketed, smiled, and moved on to new demands: European security reconfiguration; additional global reserve currency which would weaken the dollar; and a strong push-back on sanctions against the Iranian nuclear program. …. While the Russians clearly like the better atmospherics, and somewhat toned down the shrill anti-American rhetoric, the Iranians and the Venezuelans, who also received Obama’s “stretched hand” and, in case of Hugo Chavez, a pat on the back, are refusing to play ball. They, like their friends in Moscow, are also pocketing concessions while continuing the mischief.
The decision to abandon the “third site” deployment of 10 missile interceptors in Poland and a radar in the Czech Republic violates President Obama’s pledge to support missile defense that is “pragmatic and cost-effective.” Ground based missile defense is effective, affordable, and available now. According to the Congressional Budget Office, alternatives to the third site do not provide a comparable level of defense. The CBO concluded that the estimated $9-14 billion 20-year cost of the third site was half of the estimated costs of a sea-based alternative. Abandoning our best missile defense option in Europe only encourages Iran to speed up their ballistic missile program so that they can get their threat in place before a European missile defense system is available.
The Poles and the Czechs know what it means to live under the boot of Russian domination. The third-site issue is of huge symbolic importance to both nations, and if Moscow emerges the victor, with an effective veto over U.S. policy in Europe, it would represent a massive surrender of American strategic influence and a betrayal of two of its closest friends in the region.

I understand that they think that they are GREATER than it, but they are not. Sorry, it is NOT a violation of the First Amendment to tell the truth. Iran's Nuclear Program, President Obama, North Korea, President Clinton

Hey folks,
George Santayana, who was a Spanish born American Philosopher, Poet and Humanist, once said "He who does not learn from History, is doomed to repeat it." It has been repeated many different ways and is ALWAYS correct. He who is ignorant of history, seem to always be surprised when it repeats itself, coming to the same end result.
When talking about Iran, especially Ahmadinejad, one HAS to talk about Hitler. Hitler was a great Orator. He gave great speeches and had the gift that some say Obama himself possesses, to fire up a crowd, getting the masses to follow him. He started out a nobody and rose, with help from others, including some in this country, to the position of Tyrant who massacred 6 million Jews and others. Started a World War, ending in the death of millions more.
Just like the original, there are some in this country that are appeasing Ahmadinejad. Ignoring him, his words, and excusing his actions. Even though he has come right out and TOLD the World his intentions. This is why I call him Little Hitler. Just like the original, he is rising. Only THIS time, he is not going to make the same mistake. He WANTS a Nuclear bomb.
So when you watch this video, and you listen to Patrick Clawson of the Washington Institute for near East Policy, think about the Original Hitler, and also think about the history of President Clinton and North Korea.
Now the first thing I thought as I was watching this, is this guy's {Patrick Clawson} body language. He thinks he is the smartest person in the room. You can tell. But listen to what he keeps saying. As long as we can be assured that Iran is going to use their Nuclear Technology for peaceful means, it's OK.
During the early Clinton years, President Clinton elected to rely on former President Jimmy Carter in deciding to appease North Korean leader Kim Jong-il.
Carter met with North Korean leader Kim Jong-il in Pyongyang and returned to America waving a piece of paper for all the cameras declaring that we would have "peace in our time." Kim, according to Carter, had agreed to stop his Nuclear Weapons Development. He promised to be a good little Dictator. He was saying things like "Of course we do not want Nuclear Weapons. No, no, no. We want peace with you. We will just use this for Energy. Not bombs."
SO? President Clinton gave North Korea Hundreds of Millions of dollars in aid, food, oil and uh, yes, even a Nuclear Reactor. That was good. You see? All you have to do is be nice and they will love us. You see? We must be a good little Citizen of the World and we can all get along.
So what did Kim DO? He made Nuclear Weapons. He starved to death over a Million of his own people, even with all the money Clinton gave him. Then he created missiles that can deliver his new Nuclear Warheads. Remember in 98, one week after Clinton's Military Chief of Staff, John Podesta, testified that North Korea did not have an active Missile Program able to carry Nukes, Whoosh. What was that? That was the missile over Japan that landed off the Alaska coast. Where did that come from? North Korea. You know, those folks that do not have a weapons program. Do not have a missile program?
Now looks look at Iran. "They do not have an active Nuclear Weapons program." Yet Little Hitler announces that he expanded Uranium Enrichment with almost 7,000 Centrifuges. "They are simply going to use this for Energy." Little Hitler says, "I will wipe Israel off the map." Well, they have no way to deploy them even if they had them. Was that a missile? President Obama says "I do believe is that Iran has legitimate energy concerns, legitimate aspirations." Cap and Tax, Rockefeller Sells Out Own State

There is SO MUCH I want to talk about today. But it IS Tuesday, so let's go to the Energy Front. This one is a shout out to our friends in West Virginia. Your Senator is selling you out.
That's right folks, Sen. Jay Rockefeller, the same guy that wants to create a new Law giving Obama the power to take over the Internet, says he will not just say no to Cap and Tax on the Coal Industry.

As one of the nation's largest producers of coal, West Virginia has more to lose than many other states when it comes to the debate over comprehensive global warming and energy legislation.
And that is why across the state, the loudest voices now being heard are against taking the kinds of aggressive actions envisioned by President Obama and Democratic congressional leaders.
Yet, Sen. Jay Rockefeller is happy to be at the bargaining table, trying to negotiate the best outcome possible for an industry that has been his home state's lifeblood for more than 150 years.
"I cannot strategically negotiate and fight for West Virginia's future if I just say no outright," he said last week.
Folks, he does not want to find. He is in Obama's Crew. He apparently worships the guy. He has no desire to say no to Obama's agenda. Even though we ALL know what Obama REALLY wants to do.
In Rockefeller's eyes, coal is in trouble thanks to the increasing uncertainty surrounding a future full of climate-tinged regulation, the result of mounting scientific evidence surrounding global warming and the 2007 Supreme Court ruling that paves the way for new federal rules to clamp down on carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions.
It's all a SCAM. Proven WRONG. So he is right about this. The Coal Industry IS in trouble, because of OBAMA, yet he will not fight him.
"I think doing nothing at all on legislation causes three horrible things to happen, all of which mean the end of the coal industry. And people don't think of that because they hear 'cap and trade' and they say they don't like it," he said.
WE DO NOT LIKE IT BECAUSE WE KNOW THE TRUTH. Remember THIS?
Then he said this. This is nothing but pure and unadulterated BS.
"How many don't understand it is another question," Rockefeller added. "But if you don't do it at all, you just do nothing, and just say no, natural gas probably is firing all present coal power plants within three or four years. Secondly, Wall Street, there being no legislation, therefore no predictability, lends no money to people trying to build power plants. And it just cedes completely to the EPA newly empowered by the Supreme Court under very strict terms to just tear at carbon related things. All of that is talking about the end of coal and that is not where I want to be at all for West Virginia."
CAP AND TAX will KILL it. Doing NOTHING has work for 150 years. There already IS laws in place to regulate pollution. We need not BANKRUPT the Industry, which is what Obama just said is the GOAL of Cap and Tax.
Democratic leaders are relying on voices like Rockefeller's as they try to advance a cap-and-trade bill this fall that can win over 60 votes with compromises across both regional and party lines. The 72 year old holds the chairmanship of the Commerce Committee and the No. 2 spot on the Finance Committee. Going forward, many think he can bring some of the same coal-state bona fides that Rep. Rick Boucher (D-Va.) added this summer as the House wrote its climate bill.
"He has a lot of credentials within the moderate wing of the Senate Democrats," said Timothy Profeta, a former aide to Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) who is now head of Duke University's Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions. "He can be influential among his peers."
He is no Moderate. He is an Obama Lackey. Plain and simple. He even said that the only way to get people to go along with the BS that IS GW, Cap and Tax included, is to LIE to the people and convince them this is an immediate danger. OK. He did not say those exact words. But that IS what he meant.
At a hearing in late July, Rockefeller said the key to moving climate legislation is bringing a clear message to the public about the serious threat posed by global warming. "Unless the information reaches people who are confronting climate change on the front lines, it's for naught," Rockefeller said at the time. "It is time to take science out of the labs and into our communities."
The senator had little patience for anyone skeptical that climate change is happening and human activities are the main driver. "Climate change is happening," Rockefeller said. "Scientists agree. The people that say it's not happening -- well, have a nice day"
I will have a nice day Senator. I will have a nice day today, tomorrow, and in the future. Scientists do NOT agree, and there is NOT REAL Science to back up Global Warming. We are not even warming. There is NO CONSENSUS Whatsoever. It is all a SCAM. And YOU Senator, are selling out your State for the whims of your Majestic Leader. {In your eyes} You are selling out your State based on a SCAM. But like Obama and most of the new Liberals, Progressives, Socialists, whatever, you do NOT care about the People. You are locked in until 2014. So who cares? right?
"I think he wants to give the appearance he's working for West Virginia when the fact of the matter is there's no middle ground on this bill," added Troy Berman, director of the West Virginia Republican Party. "He can dress it up, but it'd still be what it is, which is an energy tax hike."
Along with SO MUCH MORE.
Berman said Rockefeller may be following the playbook of Reps. Alan Mollohan and Nick Rahall, the state's two House Democratic congressional members who voted against the climate bill after weeks of wavering in their position.
"They waited and waited and waited until they saw their votes weren't needed," Berman said. "That's not serving your constituents in West Virginia. That's serving your constituents in the speaker's office. And West Virginians deserve better."
Yes they do. But this is who Rockefeller is. Either he is too stupid to understand that Global Warming is BS, or he KNOWS it is and is just laying down for Obama. I'm not really sure which is worse.
The coal industry provides West Virginia with about 40,000 direct jobs in mining, mine contractors, mine supplies and coal preparation plants, according to the state's Office of Miners' Health, Safety and Training. West Virginia also touts about 4 percent of all U.S. coal reserves and 15 percent of the country's coal production.
So it is no surprise that energy issues are front and center in the state's political debate alongside the other top topic of the moment in Washington.
"It's without question as high on West Virginians' radars as health care," said Berman, who recently ran political campaigns in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, New York and Texas. "You can say that in one or two other states. But you can't say that about the country as a whole."
Now Rockefeller did say this.
"I want to be very clear -- I do not support any bill right now," he said. " In fact, I have not yet seen a bill I would vote for."
You probably would not read it if you DID have it. Just like the Obama Bailout Bill that none of you read. You just Vote whatever your Leadership tells you.
Do NOT Believe this.
But it is still unclear exactly what Rockefeller's bottom line is. "If the final Senate bill does not protect West Virginia and the future of coal, I will not be voting for the bill," he said.
He will Vote however they tell him to. He does not care about West Virgina. He does not care about the Coal industry. Even Senator Byrd said he is FLAT out AGAINST Cap and Tax. Yet, Rockefeller is "on the fence?"
To all my friends in West Virginia, you are in the Same boat as most of the rest of us. They will NOT debate Drilling here in Florida, as Gas Prices climb again. They will not kill Obamacare. They will NOT stand up to Obama on ANYTHING. This new Liberal Democrat Leadership could not care less about YOU, the People. All they care about is Power, Control, and Money. YOU are just a problem to over come to get there. We need to show them, we are not a problem. We are the WALL! We are the one's that will STOP them from this Quest of Tyranny. We are THE PEOPLE, of whom the Government BY the PEOPLE, should be FOR.

As one of the nation's largest producers of coal, West Virginia has more to lose than many other states when it comes to the debate over comprehensive global warming and energy legislation.
And that is why across the state, the loudest voices now being heard are against taking the kinds of aggressive actions envisioned by President Obama and Democratic congressional leaders.
Yet, Sen. Jay Rockefeller is happy to be at the bargaining table, trying to negotiate the best outcome possible for an industry that has been his home state's lifeblood for more than 150 years."I cannot strategically negotiate and fight for West Virginia's future if I just say no outright," he said last week.
Folks, he does not want to find. He is in Obama's Crew. He apparently worships the guy. He has no desire to say no to Obama's agenda. Even though we ALL know what Obama REALLY wants to do.
In Rockefeller's eyes, coal is in trouble thanks to the increasing uncertainty surrounding a future full of climate-tinged regulation, the result of mounting scientific evidence surrounding global warming and the 2007 Supreme Court ruling that paves the way for new federal rules to clamp down on carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions.
It's all a SCAM. Proven WRONG. So he is right about this. The Coal Industry IS in trouble, because of OBAMA, yet he will not fight him.
"I think doing nothing at all on legislation causes three horrible things to happen, all of which mean the end of the coal industry. And people don't think of that because they hear 'cap and trade' and they say they don't like it," he said.
WE DO NOT LIKE IT BECAUSE WE KNOW THE TRUTH. Remember THIS?
Then he said this. This is nothing but pure and unadulterated BS.
"How many don't understand it is another question," Rockefeller added. "But if you don't do it at all, you just do nothing, and just say no, natural gas probably is firing all present coal power plants within three or four years. Secondly, Wall Street, there being no legislation, therefore no predictability, lends no money to people trying to build power plants. And it just cedes completely to the EPA newly empowered by the Supreme Court under very strict terms to just tear at carbon related things. All of that is talking about the end of coal and that is not where I want to be at all for West Virginia."
CAP AND TAX will KILL it. Doing NOTHING has work for 150 years. There already IS laws in place to regulate pollution. We need not BANKRUPT the Industry, which is what Obama just said is the GOAL of Cap and Tax.
Democratic leaders are relying on voices like Rockefeller's as they try to advance a cap-and-trade bill this fall that can win over 60 votes with compromises across both regional and party lines. The 72 year old holds the chairmanship of the Commerce Committee and the No. 2 spot on the Finance Committee. Going forward, many think he can bring some of the same coal-state bona fides that Rep. Rick Boucher (D-Va.) added this summer as the House wrote its climate bill.
"He has a lot of credentials within the moderate wing of the Senate Democrats," said Timothy Profeta, a former aide to Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) who is now head of Duke University's Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions. "He can be influential among his peers."
He is no Moderate. He is an Obama Lackey. Plain and simple. He even said that the only way to get people to go along with the BS that IS GW, Cap and Tax included, is to LIE to the people and convince them this is an immediate danger. OK. He did not say those exact words. But that IS what he meant.
At a hearing in late July, Rockefeller said the key to moving climate legislation is bringing a clear message to the public about the serious threat posed by global warming. "Unless the information reaches people who are confronting climate change on the front lines, it's for naught," Rockefeller said at the time. "It is time to take science out of the labs and into our communities."
The senator had little patience for anyone skeptical that climate change is happening and human activities are the main driver. "Climate change is happening," Rockefeller said. "Scientists agree. The people that say it's not happening -- well, have a nice day"
I will have a nice day Senator. I will have a nice day today, tomorrow, and in the future. Scientists do NOT agree, and there is NOT REAL Science to back up Global Warming. We are not even warming. There is NO CONSENSUS Whatsoever. It is all a SCAM. And YOU Senator, are selling out your State for the whims of your Majestic Leader. {In your eyes} You are selling out your State based on a SCAM. But like Obama and most of the new Liberals, Progressives, Socialists, whatever, you do NOT care about the People. You are locked in until 2014. So who cares? right?
"I think he wants to give the appearance he's working for West Virginia when the fact of the matter is there's no middle ground on this bill," added Troy Berman, director of the West Virginia Republican Party. "He can dress it up, but it'd still be what it is, which is an energy tax hike."

Berman said Rockefeller may be following the playbook of Reps. Alan Mollohan and Nick Rahall, the state's two House Democratic congressional members who voted against the climate bill after weeks of wavering in their position.
"They waited and waited and waited until they saw their votes weren't needed," Berman said. "That's not serving your constituents in West Virginia. That's serving your constituents in the speaker's office. And West Virginians deserve better."
Yes they do. But this is who Rockefeller is. Either he is too stupid to understand that Global Warming is BS, or he KNOWS it is and is just laying down for Obama. I'm not really sure which is worse.
The coal industry provides West Virginia with about 40,000 direct jobs in mining, mine contractors, mine supplies and coal preparation plants, according to the state's Office of Miners' Health, Safety and Training. West Virginia also touts about 4 percent of all U.S. coal reserves and 15 percent of the country's coal production.
So it is no surprise that energy issues are front and center in the state's political debate alongside the other top topic of the moment in Washington.
"It's without question as high on West Virginians' radars as health care," said Berman, who recently ran political campaigns in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, New York and Texas. "You can say that in one or two other states. But you can't say that about the country as a whole."
Now Rockefeller did say this.
"I want to be very clear -- I do not support any bill right now," he said. " In fact, I have not yet seen a bill I would vote for."
You probably would not read it if you DID have it. Just like the Obama Bailout Bill that none of you read. You just Vote whatever your Leadership tells you.
Do NOT Believe this.
But it is still unclear exactly what Rockefeller's bottom line is. "If the final Senate bill does not protect West Virginia and the future of coal, I will not be voting for the bill," he said.
He will Vote however they tell him to. He does not care about West Virgina. He does not care about the Coal industry. Even Senator Byrd said he is FLAT out AGAINST Cap and Tax. Yet, Rockefeller is "on the fence?"
To all my friends in West Virginia, you are in the Same boat as most of the rest of us. They will NOT debate Drilling here in Florida, as Gas Prices climb again. They will not kill Obamacare. They will NOT stand up to Obama on ANYTHING. This new Liberal Democrat Leadership could not care less about YOU, the People. All they care about is Power, Control, and Money. YOU are just a problem to over come to get there. We need to show them, we are not a problem. We are the WALL! We are the one's that will STOP them from this Quest of Tyranny. Welcome to the OPNTalk Big Sunday Edition. Glad to have ya. I'm just answering a private question publicly. I have not dropped the ball. We live in dangerous times and SOMEONE needs to be keeping an eye on things.
Any of you that have known me for any period of time, KNOWS that I check in with my friends from all around the world daily, and I keep my eyes WIDE OPEN, when it comes to what is going on in the world that surrounds us. I miss little. When needed, I share it with you so that WE can look for solutions together.
But I'm serious here. We have the greatest threat to this Country than we have ever had. His name is Barack Hussein Obama, and he is the President of these United States. So YES. I have been focusing on him A LOT. I will continue to do so.
Look. An Enemy from outside can set off a bomb. They can blow up buildings. They can kill thousands of us. But and Enemy from within? The highest office in the Land? He can do away with our very defenses. He can enslave us through oppressive taxation and Laws forcing us to give up this or that Freedom. He can destroy the ENTIRE Country by CREATING a Fascist or Socialistic Society to replace our FREE Society. He can actually KILL America itself. I warned you about this. Now we are watching him attempt to DO that very thing. This is why I am focusing so much on him. You would be wise to do the same.
On a lighter note, Happy Grandparents Day! to all those of which it applies. I love this Press Release from The Illinois CPA Society. That's coming right up.
I have shared many stories with you over the years here and elsewhere of my Grandmother and the time when I was growing up. I long for those simpler times. I miss them so. But as they say, you can never go home again. This is true. But we can LEARN from the WISDOM of our Grandparents and Elders in general. Those that have been there and done that. Those that are as wise as their years. We should stop and thank them. On this day, we should HONOR them.

"If you come to me with a serious set of proposals, I will be there to listen. My door is always open," the president said.
No this is not from the Televised Address to Congress. This is from YESTERDAY. Sound Failure? He is attempting to bully his agenda through. He IS attempting to rekindle that old campaign magic. He IS LYING! He is LYING right through his teeth. I'm PROUD of Joe Wilson. I'm not proud that he apologized, because he simply told the truth. Obama IS a LIAR. It really is that simple. There may have been 15 thousand there, maybe not. Meanwhile in Washington DC? Tens of Thousands were letting Obama and those in Congress know that THEY will not accept Obamacare. Period. More on that also in a second.

What was it? Like a THOUSAND showed up at an ORGANIZED Pro-Obamacare rally? We are talking Tens of thousands of people from EVERY walk of life, EVERY political affiliation, and NO ONE was TOLD to go. Some estimates I have seen puts the numbers over a few HUNDRED Thousand.
The line of protesters clogged several blocks near the Capitol, according to the D.C. Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency. Demonstrators chanted "enough, enough" and "We the People." Others yelled "You lie, you lie!" and "Pelosi has to go," referring to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.
All TRUE.
Throngs of people waved U.S. flags and held signs reading "Go Green Recycle Congress" and "Obama Bin Lyin.'" {I LOVE THAT} Men wore colonial costumes as they listened to speakers who warned of "judgment day" — Election Day 2010.
Other signs — reflecting the growing intensity of the health care debate — depicted President Barack Obama with the signature mustache of Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler. Many referred to Obama as a socialist or communist, and another imposed his face on that of the villainous Joker from "Batman."
It is GROWING. The more and more it seems Obama and Crew are NOT listening, more and more people become upset. NO ONE WANTS Obamacare. NO ONE that is SANE that is.
Richard Brigle, 57, a Vietnam War veteran and former Teamster, came from Paw Paw, Mich. He said health care needs to be reformed — but not according to Obama's plan.
"My grandkids are going to be paying for this. It's going to cost too much money that we don't have," he said while marching, bracing himself with a wooden cane as he walked.
FreedomWorks Foundation, a conservative organization led by former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, organized several groups from across the country for what they billed as a "March on Washington."
See, See, They were lead. Wrong. Some of the groups were organized and helped some there that could not get there any other way. Some heard of it on the Radio. Some read about it on Blogs. Some heard about it from friends. But NO ONE was TOLD they had to go. They all went there of their OWN will.
Organizers say they built on momentum from the April "tea party" demonstrations held nationwide to protest tax policies, along with growing resentment over the economic stimulus packages and bank bailouts.
Armey and other speakers directed their ire at Pelosi — Armey took a photo, telling the crowd he wanted to be able to prove to her they were there.
"If it's necessary, we'll come back here next year," he said.
Many protesters said they paid their own way to the event — an ethic they believe should be applied to the government. They say unchecked spending on things like a government-run health insurance option could increase inflation and lead to economic ruin.
It will.
Terri Hall, 45, of Starke, Fla., said she felt compelled to become political for the first time this year because she was upset by government spending.
"Our government has lost sight of the powers they were granted," she said. She added that deficit spending is out of control, and said she thought it was putting the country at risk.
Not exactly Ms. Hall. They KNOW the powers they were granted. They just feel they are to restricted. They IGNORE the Constitution daily. Of course the Mainstream Media will not point that out, nor investigate ANYTHING negative when it comes to Obama and Crew.
Race also became an issue when a black Republican leader denounced African-American politicians that she said had an "affinity" for socialism.
"I'm outraged prominent black politicians use the race card" to cover up their failed policies, said Deneen Borelli of New York.
That is all they have left. You Racist you.
One woman held a sign with images of Martin Luther King Jr. and Obama, with the words printed alongside: "He had a dream, we got a nightmare." {I LOVE THAT ONE TOO.}
Lawmakers also supported the rally. Rep. Mike Pence, chairman of the House Republican Conference, said Americans want health care reform but they don't want a government takeover.
"Republicans, Democrats and independents are stepping up and demanding we put our fiscal house in order," Pence, of Indiana, told The Associated Press.
"I think the overriding message after years of borrowing, spending and bailouts is enough is enough," Pence said.
Rep. Tom Price, R-Ga., and Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., also spoke at the rally.
Other sponsors of the event include the Heartland Institute, Americans for Tax Reform and the Ayn Rand Center for Individuals Rights.
By the way, some would suggest that, that last one, Ayn Rand Center for Individuals Rights, is a Liberal Group. I have been told that, but I do not know who they are. It makes sense if they are. Original Liberalism is NOT bad. They were all about smaller Government and PROTECTING Individuals Rights.
Connie Castleton, 52, of Irving, Texas, said she drove 20 hours from her home to attend the rally. The nurse said she's motivated to try and get others involved in opposing Obama's health care plan.
"There's a lot more people mad about what's going on than I thought," she said.
That's because the State Run Media will NOT tell you about it. They will tell you that it is just those waskly Republicans that hate Obama. They will tell you that there really is no one against Obamacare. It's all just Astroturfing. But that is NOT the truth at all.
Several protesters said they represented a "silent majority" or referred to themselves as "community organizers" — a phrase often associated with the president.
"This isn't some right-wing conservative agenda," said 30-year-old Adam Moore of Rochester, Mich. "This is a true grass-roots movement."
Yes it is. Because, contrary to what is widely reported, there really are not that many "Progressives," Communists, Fascists, American Hating Socialists, that want to change this GREAT Nation.
Erica Coyle, who's in her 50s and is from Louisville, Ky., said problems began before Obama took office, but she said the situation has worsened and people are "finally waking up."
"This is his Waterloo," Coyle said of Obama.

In todays Health and Science Segment, we are going to look at another aspect of Obamacare. This one is a real problem in America, so please do not mis understand me.
We, as a nation, are Fat. Sorry. That is just fact. We have the most over weight people in our Country than anywhere else in the world. Why? The number one reason is that we have "evolved" to a place where we eat more, and move less. Yes, it really is that simple.
Our meal portions have grown in size. You can Super Size just about anywhere you go, from Fast Food Joints, to actual Restaurants. Then you have this thing I'm talking to you on. The Computer. Since more and more things are automated, and in the name of convenience, we educate ourselves on how to do ANYTHING by sitting down at a key board or control panel. Our kids? TV, Video Games, and the Internet. Even a lot of their games now a days, their toys, do everything for them. Basically, they need only sit and watch.
We have become lazy. We have also started to loose a VERY PRECIOUS gift. Imagination. You no longer have to go outside to run around and play Army. Now you can just play Video Games and fly remote controlled helicopters. More exciting? Of course. But is it really good for our kids?
Generation after generation we get more and more Lazy. It becomes the norm. So we get fat. You want to know what the best diet in the world really is? Guaranteed to work EVERY TIME? It also will not cost you a dime? Eat less, move more.

Carmona serves as the health and wellness chairperson of the Strategies to Overcome and Prevent (STOP) Obesity Alliance, whose steering committee includes the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity and Obesity, among other public and private organizations.

So we have two major, or what the Left USE to call "Big Drug," companies, lobbying Congress to include into Obamacare, the mandated use of their Products. I'm not kidding folks. More on that in a second. But first, of course, they want to Police our food.
Former Surgeon General Dr. David Satcher, whose 2001 report on obesity recognized the problem as an "epidemic," emphasized the need to invest in health promotion and disease prevention, particularly for the health of the nation's youth.
"We are in essence addicting our children to sedentary lifestyles; we're addicting them to high-salt, high-sweet, high-fat diets," he said, "and then we pay for it later on when they come to us with cancer, heart disease, [and] diabetes."
America's weight problem is pervasive. Two-thirds of the population is now overweight and obese, according to the CDC, and as many as 72 million adults are considered obese. In fact, obesity rates have doubled for adults and tripled for children since 1980.
OK. Stop. We have talked about this before. If they had their way, we would all be subject to their little chart. You are a Man? How tall? You should weight xyz.
Woman? Zyx. But there is a problem with their little chart. We are all different. An old friend of mine is about 5'7" and weighs in at 230. Stand him next to me, and he looks FAT as Fat can be. And he is. I weigh in at 224. He only weighs 6 pounds more than I do. Yet, I have WAY LESS fat than he does. Take someone like Paul Levesque "Triple H" from the WWE. He is 6'4", and weighs in around 270. Not an ounce of fat on him. Yet, according to their little chart, we would ALL be considered WAY overweight hovering around obese. Just not the case. But if they MANDATE the Chart, and then FORCE you to lose weigh or else? Here will be their excuse.
Obesity accounts for 9.1 percent of annual health-care spending in the United States, or nearly $150 billion annually, according to a study in a recent issue of Health Affairs.
To help arrest the epidemic, the alliance urges policymakers to include four specific elements in health reform:
Recognize proven clinical interventions.
AKA DRUGS. Not to mention other PROGRAMS that will bring OTHER people a lot of money.
Studies demonstrate, for example, that shedding just 5 percent to 10 percent of body weight can lower the risk of heart disease and other chronic conditions.
On SOME people. Others? No one really knows why someone like George Burns can live as long as he did while smoking Cigars and Drinking Alcohol, and others die in their 40s or 50's while living "healthy lifestyles."
Enhance the use of preventive services.
AKA DRUGS, and Government funded Programs.
The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force recommends obesity screening for all adults, yet studies show height and weight data often is not recorded during an office visit.
{Laughing} They want to MANDATE your Doctor "screens you" during your visit and report you as Obese or Fat and in need of all this.
Foster community programs and polices that encourage and support healthy lifestyles.
Police YOU. Tell you how to live. What to eat. ETC.
A community might design public spaces that accommodate walkers and bikers, for example, or sponsor a farmer's market to make fresh produce available to local residents.
More Government, uh, that would be YOUR money, hard at work. For your own good of course.
Coordinate research efforts to improve the quality of care, show which interventions work in various settings and translate science into practice.
Morgan Downey, the alliance's policy adviser, noted one positive aspect of health reform proposals from the House of Representatives and Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee: They eliminate the worry that overweight Americans might not be able to obtain health insurance coverage because of preexisting health conditions.
"Just the removal of that language really frees up individuals who are overweight or obese to have access to health insurance," he said.
Yes we want them to be covered. This way we can make MORE money,,,I mean help them. {Smile}
Folks, it really is this simple. Eat less, move more. Go for a walk. Take a bike ride. The kind that pedal. Play with your kids outside. Encourage them to use their imagination. We are NOT cookies. Serena Williams was in a close match when the Line Judge ruled that she stepped out of bounds or something. Instead of shrugging it off and beating her opponent Kim Clijsters, which she should have CLEARLY done, she decided to take a page right out of John McEnroe's Playbook. Williams lost to unseeded, unranked Kim Clijsters 6-4, 7-5 in a taught semifinal.
With Williams serving at 5-6, 15-30 in the second set, she faulted on her first serve. On the second serve, a line judge called a foot fault, making it a double-fault. That made the score 15-40, putting Clijsters one point from victory.
Williams went over and shouted at the line judge, who walked over and reported it to the chair umpire. That led to the chair umpire awarding a penalty point to Clijsters, ending the match.
Rumour has it she threatened to KILL the Judge.
Williams already had been given a code violation warning when she broke her racket after losing the first set.

YES. I will post the transcript of Obama's Obamacare Speech he gave to Congress last night. Following that, I will also post the Fact Check that the Pro-Obama AP came out with. Yup, even THEY say he lied.
But I do not have to waste all that much time on this. It's pretty simple to explain. You can sum the whole thing up by saying this. Screw the American people, do want I am telling you to do. Pass Obamacare. It really IS just that simple.

YES. I will post the transcript of Obama's Obamacare Speech he gave to Congress last night. Following that, I will also post the Fact Check that the Pro-Obama AP came out with. Yup, even THEY say he lied.

I received one of those letters a few days ago. It was from our beloved friend and colleague, Ted Kennedy. He had written it back in May, shortly after he was told that his illness was terminal. He asked that it be delivered upon his death.
In it, he spoke about what a happy time his last months were, thanks to the love and support of family and friends, his wife, Vicki, his amazing children, who are all here tonight. And he expressed confidence that this would be the year that health care reform -- "that great unfinished business of our society," he called it -- would finally pass. He repeated the truth that health care is decisive for our future prosperity, but he also reminded me that "it concerns more than material things." "What we face," he wrote, "is above all a moral issue; at stake are not just the details of policy, but fundamental principles of social justice and the character of our country."
Just pathetic. Seriously pathetic. Using Ted Kennedy. "It's his dying wish to get this done." To bad NO ONE but the Rich would receive the care that Kennedy got under Obamacare. They would be told "You are to old. Sorry. The cost is to much without a big enough return. Here is a pain pill."
I understand how difficult this health care debate has been. I know that many in this country are deeply skeptical that government is looking out for them.
I repeat. The MAJORITY DO NOT WANT THIS. They KNOW what it is.
I understand that the politically safe move would be to kick the can further down the road -- to defer reform one more year, or one more election, or one more term.
Yes. Because anyone that Votes FOR this is OUT! Period.
