78 Percent of NY Votes Agree Performance Over Unions,

Preview for Sunday 032011

Hey folks,

I know, I know,

Dane County Circuit Judge Maryann Sumi issued a temporary restraining order Friday, barring the publication of a controversial new law that would sharply curtail collective bargaining for public employees.
But that will now go to the Courts and they will lose. The Unions that is. Not to mention, that this very Ruling in illegal. But it will play out, and Wisconsin will win in the long run.

Happy Sunday to ya folks. I AM your Provocateur of Thought himself, Peter Carlock, and this IS the Big Sunday Edition of the OPNTalk Blog. Glad you stopped by. We are fully loaded today and I can wait to get started.

All that in just a second. First, the unions are losing big time, all across this country. The popular opinion of most Voters is that unions, which is just a siphon for Cash to the democrat Party, have over stayed their welcome. Most feel that Performance should dictate everything from Salaries, to actually keeping your job. Not "Collective Bargaining." You want proof of this. Check this out. According to the NY Post - Majority of New York City voters think teacher layoffs should be based on performance: poll. Yes New York City Voters. You can't get a more Liberal Town than New York City.

LIFO must go!

A whopping 78 percent of New York City voters said teacher layoffs should be based on performance, not the seniority-based "last-in, first out" law, a poll released today found.

Even 63 percent of voters in union households agree that layoffs should be based on merit, not LIFO, according to the Quinnipiac College survey.

Meanwhile 73 percent of voters said layoffs of cops, firefighters and other government workers should be determined by performance, not seniority. And a majority of voters in union households agree.

The results mirror the findings of a statewide poll released last month, which found that 85 percent of voters backed the elimination of LIFO.
Unions are WAY out numbered. But did you catch that one part? Read that again.

Even 63 percent of voters in union households agree that layoffs should be based on merit, not LIFO, according to the Quinnipiac College survey.
That is rank and file Union Members. Even THEY say Unions must go. New York folks. If New York Liberals feel this way, imagine, well, you don't have to. According to this, "85 percent of Voters backed the elimination" of Unions. 85 percent.

I know, LIFO stands for Last In, First Out. Or Seniority. But that IS one of the first things Unions fight for. They want Tenure for Teachers, Police, Firefighters. They want "Collective Bargaining." Which means they want to keep the ability they have to strong arm both the Private and Public Sector Employers to LIFO, Salaries, Medical Coverage, and Retirement Plans. They WANT total control over the Employer, and of course, all that money. The People are starting to see this for what it is. The People are saying ENOUGH.

Going to fill my cup. Be right back.

Jackson Calls For Recall and Riots,

I agree with the Recall part.

Hey folks,

Do you know the Osgood Files? Charles Osgood on the CBS Radio Network? I love Charles Osgood. He does this little like 2 minute Radio Segment on one of my local Radio Stations in the AM, but he is Nationwide. Well, yesterday, Dave Ross was filling in. {Laughing} He NAILED Obama and Crew with ONE LINE. He was talking about Libya and the No Fly Zone. Some from all around the World are ASKING and HOPING that we get involved over there. Obama? Well, he is throwing another Party at the White House. But Dave Ross, with one line, really tells you who Obama and Crew are. He plays a clip of Hillary Clinton, as a Presidential Candidate in 2008, then he makes the comment I absolutely love.

"When there's a crisis - and that phone rings at 3 AM in the White House..." (:05)

For now, you check the caller ID - and let it ring.
{Laughing, banging hand on desk}

The Osgood File. Dave Ross on the CBS Radio Network.

The Osgood File. March 10th, 2011.
That really sums some things up. Does it not? Anyway, HAPPY FRIDAY! Glad you could stop by. Since it IS Friday, time to check in with the Emails.

"What do you really think of this? Rev. Jackson is calling for riots. He is actually saying that either you give people collective bargaining or else. I hear he is also calling for recall of all Republicans that voted. Not the Dems that walked out of their jobs, but those that actually did what the people want."
Well? I agree with the Recall part. But it's the Cockroaches that fled when the lights came on that should be Recalled. So I'm with him on the Recall.

As far as THIS Statement goes?

"So they're going to escalate the protests -- you will either have collective bargaining through a vehicle called collective bargaining or you're going to have it through the streets. People here will fight back because they think their cause is moral and they have nowhere else to go."
{Sigh}I say LET THEM. Who cares? 175,000 Public Sector Employees, who make much more, but average out to $50,000, vs over 5,000,000 Citizens. Good move on Gov. Walker's part. What was that line?

"The needs of the many, outwiegh the needs of the few, or the one?"
So what are they all upset about? 5.8 percent of their pay to their Pensions, 12.6 percent of of their Healthcare Premiums, Vote yearly if they want to be part of the Union. They can STILL negotiate other things. He didn't KILL the Unions. He put the power in the hands of the People. THEY can decide if they want Unions or not.

Let the protest. They do not have the people's support behind them. Most see this for what it is, the right thing to do. Most of these Protesters are from OTHER Unions, outside the State. But a word of warning. If I was the Governor, or the Head of the Police, I would be arresting any of them that deface Private Property, get Disorderly, or make a Public Nuisance of themselves. They have the RIGHT to PEACEFUL, non-destructive Protests. But not to litter and be destructive. Those that refuse to do their Jobs? They would be FIRED. Those 14 Cockroaches? I would be calling for them to be Recalled. Let the People decide if they were Bold, or Cowardly and not doing their Jobs. I also hope others follow Wisconsin's lead.

Unions and Dems Lose Wisconsin

The Cockroaches came to nothing.

Hey folks,

I would say that they were sprayed, but they all still have Jobs. At least for now. But there little disappearing act meant nothing in the long run.

According to the AP - Wis. GOP bypasses Dems, cuts collective bargaining By SCOTT BAUER Associated Press
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- The nearly month-long standoff in the Wisconsin Legislature over explosive union rights legislation rocketed toward a dramatic finish Thursday after Senate Republicans outmaneuvered their missing Democratic counterparts and pushed through the bill.

The dramatic turn of events late Wednesday set up a perfunctory vote Thursday morning in the Assembly on the measure that would strip nearly all collective bargaining rights from most public workers. Once the bill passes the Assembly, it heads to Republican Gov. Scott Walker for his signature.

Within hours after the Senate passed the bill, a crowd of hundreds of protesters grew to about 7,000 in the Capitol, a crowd as large as any seen inside the building over three weeks of demonstrations.
How many Wisconsin Employees are there? I guarantee you, most of these were Bussed in but the DNC.
"The whole world is watching!" protesters shouted as they pressed up against the heavily guarded entrance to the Senate chamber.
Yup. And they are on the side of the Republicans.
Most protesters left by midnight - many were expected back Thursday - but dozens of others spent the night in the Capitol corridors. State officials said no attempts would be made to force them to leave.

The bill had been stymied after all 14 Senate Democrats fled to Illinois nearly three weeks ago, preventing the chamber from having enough members present to pass it. Walker introduced it to plug a $137 million budget shortfall.

The Senate requires a quorum of 20 to take up any measures that spends money. But a special committee of lawmakers from both the Senate and Assembly voted late Wednesday afternoon to take all the spending measures out of the legislation and the Senate approved it minutes later 18-1. Republican Sen. Dale Schultz cast the lone no vote.

"I voted my conscience which I feel reflects the core beliefs of the majority of voters who sent me here to represent them," Schultz said in a statement.
So sorry, so sad, see ya. He knew it wouldn't mean a thing. He did it because he is in a Big Union town.
Until Wednesday's vote, it appeared the standoff would persist until Democrats returned to Madison from their self-imposed exile. But in a matter of minutes, it was over.

"In 30 minutes, 18 state senators undid 50 years of civil rights in Wisconsin. Their disrespect for the people of Wisconsin and their rights is an outrage that will never be forgotten," said Democratic Senate Minority Leader Mark Miller. "Tonight, 18 Senate Republicans conspired to take government away from the people."

Miller said in an interview with The Associated Press there is nothing Democrats can do now to stop the bill: "It's a done deal."
It goes on and on, but you get the point. Oh, 50 years of Civil Rights? Please. Idiot. So there you have it folks. It's a done deal in Wisconsin. So? Who's next?

Two Time Winner...

Hey folks,

Yes, this week's recipient of the Display of Logic Award, is a two time winner. I know, I know, some of you are starting to feel cautiously opportunistic. I know you have gone from EXTREMELY Hopeful, to disappointed, to now cautiously opportunistic.

It's kind of like how some of you are looking at the New House Members. I think they are on fire, and doing the best they can. They still have a Hostile Senate and a President, that is and will, fight them every step of the way, for ANY reason. Some of you thought that they would walk in and Kill Obamacare, Kill Cap and Tax DEAD, Kill the oppressive Financial Overhaul, and all would be better. Truth is, this all takes time. Relax a bit and give them some time to work on it.

The same thing applies in Wisconsin. The Voters wanted him to go in there and fix the Financial Crises over night. He started working on that over night. He looked into, and decided to take on Unions. You know the rest of the Story. The 14 Democrats became Cockroaches and skipped town and hid. The DNC, on orders of Obama himself, started busing OUTSIDE protesters, the Media started doing Phony Polls, Teachers said "SCREW YOU KIDS" and called in Sick shutting down the Schools, REAL Doctors started to WILLINGLY Practice Malpractice, giving out PHONY Doctor Excuses without even examining anyone, and Obama will not stay out of it.

Yet, with all that, some of you are mad at Gov. Walker. Really? He came out and said, "If the Democrats {Cockroaches} do not return, I will lay off 1500 State Workers to make up the cut. Because he did not do that INSTANTLY, some of you got disappointed. {Sigh} But now that they are going out, and the First Week of April WILL be D-Day for 1500 State Workers, so now you are cautiously opportunistic that Walker IS the guy you thought he was.

Folks, I have SEEN State Employees lose their Jobs. I have SEEN entire Departments turned upside down because of Union Contracts. I have SEEN the harm that comes to those laid off, and or fired. Governor Walker doesn't want to have to do this. He is giving them EVERY POSSIBLE Opportunity to do the Right thing. If these 1500 DO get laid off, it will be the fault of the 14. So again, give him a chance.

However, THIS is the reason he wins the Logic Award this week. I know it's old now. I think it was Monday or Tuesday, and it has been all over the place, but this is Brilliant. I love this. Every time Obama can find a TV Camera or Reporter, He LOVES jumping into Wisconsin Business. He IS a Big Union Guy. So that makes sense. It's not Constitutional, nor RIGHT, but it makes sense. We already know that the symbiotic relationship between the Unions and the Left is all about MONEY, Power, and Control.

So first Governor Walker simply said, "Hey, President Obama, You have enough to worry about in the Federal Government. You work on YOUR Budget. I'll work on mine." But Obama just will not stay out of the State's Business. So Governor's Walker’s Office issued this statement:
“I’m sure the President knows that most federal employees do not have collective bargaining for wages and benefits while our plan allows it for base pay. And I’m sure the President knows that the average federal worker pays twice as much for health insurance as what we are asking for in Wisconsin. At least I would hope he knows these facts.

Furthermore, I’m sure the President knows that we have repeatedly praised the more than 300,000 government workers who come to work every day in Wisconsin.
“I’m sure that President Obama simply misunderstands the issues in Wisconsin, and isn’t acting like the union bosses in saying one thing and doing another.”
These are the FACTS as opposed to the rhetoric that Obama, the Media, and the Left keep spewing. Obama doesn't offer, nor allow, Federal Employees the "Rights" he is fighting for, for those in Wisconsin. So why does he not offer them to Federal Employees? Money. Wisconsin has no more. Governor Walker will do whatever he has to.

Congratulations Governor Walker. You ARE a Two time, two time, Display of Logic Winner! For telling the TRUTH. What was that saying? Talking truth to power? Keep up the good work Sir. Do not let the Phony Polls, the State Run Media, and Obama attempting to bully you, get you off track. Keep doing the right thing. We the PEOPLE are behind you.

Wisconsin 14 Outlaws?

From the Emails 030411

Hey folks,

Happy Friday to ya. Since it IS Friday, time to check in the Emails. This is the day when we let YOU decide what we are talking about. Send in Questions, Comments, Articles, whatever, the Email as always is opntalk@gmail.com. Who knows, YOU may become a part of the OPNTalk Blog.

"Peter, do you agree with this? I do not. I think they are doing whatever they can to stand up for what they believe. Why is that so wrong?"

TMJ 4 / NBC Milwaukee - Capitol Chaos: Senate Signs Contempt Order
MADISON, Wis.

(AP) -- The Republican leader of the Wisconsin Senate has signed orders finding 14 AWOL Democrats in contempt. The orders signed Thursday allow the sergeant at arms to detain the missing senators and use police force if necessary.

The Democrats say they are all in Illinois and won't return.

Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald says the orders are only binding in Wisconsin.

The Senate passed a resolution calling for the action earlier Thursday but gave Democrats until 4 p.m. to return. None of them did, which led Fitzgerald to sign 14 orders of detainment in dramatic fashion in the center of the Senate chamber.

State patrol officers watched silently from the gallery as Fitzgerald signed the orders executing the order. The Democrats left in protest over an anti-union bill.
Do I agree with this? Uh, YES! They walked off their Jobs. They are being PAID to do a Job, and they refused to do it. They showed, and continue to show the VOTERS, that they will not go against their Checkbooks. They are standing up for those that have given them a lot of money. Forget YOU. The Voter.

Look. If you are an Elected Official, Federal or State, or even Local, you have a Job to do. If something comes up, that you do not agree with, you Vote NO. If you lose, as the Republicans did with Obamacare, you lose. But you DO YOUR JOB. Elections have consequences. The PEOPLE {More than the 12 percent Nation wide represented by Unions} Voted Walker in. They Voted FOR True Change. They are getting it. But when Walker turned the light on the relationship, the TRUE relationship that the Left enjoy with the Unions, they ran away and hid like Cockroaches.

It really is simple. Come back, do your Jobs, no problem. If not? Too bad for you.

Adults Vs Children, Illegal Teachers, Fake Doctors

Time to call these people out.

Hey folks,

Time to prosecute them as well. They are STILL being paid to do their Jobs, yet, they are not doing them. According to the AP - Wisconsin Democrats could stay away for weeks By SCOTT BAUER and TODD RICHMOND, Associated Press – Fri Feb 18, 2:37 pm ET
MADISON, Wis. – Democrats on the run in Wisconsin avoided state troopers Friday and threatened to stay in hiding for weeks, potentially paralyzing a state government they no longer control.

The party's stand against balancing the state's budget by cutting the pay, benefits and collective bargaining rights of public workers is the boldest action yet by Democrats to push back against last fall's GOP wave.

But the dramatic strategy that's clogged the Capitol with thousands of protesters clashes with one essential truth: Republicans told everyone unions would be a target, and the GOP has more than enough votes to pass its plans once the Legislature can convene.
So these 14 Democrats, should be recalled NOW. They should be thrown out of Office. They are STILL being paid to do their Jobs. They are not doing them. All they have to do is be ADULTS and show up for work. Vote NO. They are going to lose. But they will be on record standing up for what they believe in. It's not a hard concept.

But they are not the only ones still being paid, yet not working. Teachers are playing Sick. You see, it's illegal to strike in Wisconsin. So they are all calling in sick, shutting down entire School Districts, and hurting the Kids for their own selfish gain. According to the AP - UPDATE: Madison Schools Go To Court To Get Teachers Back
UPDATED Friday, February 18, 2011 --- 7:45 a.m.

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The state's largest school district has joined those that have canceled classes due to teacher shortages caused by union protests at the state Capitol.

Officials say more than 600 of the 5,400 teachers in Milwaukee Public Schools called in sick Friday to attend the protests over Gov. Scott Walker's budget repair bill. The district has more than 82,000 students at 184 schools.
So OBVIOUSLY they are not sick. But they ARE about to file FRAUDULENT Documents. According to MacIver News Service - Fake Doctors’ Notes Being Handed Out at Wisconsin Gov. Union Rally
On Saturday, a group of men and women in lab coats purporting to be doctors were handing out medical excuse notes, without examining the ‘patients.’

“I asked this doctor what he was doing and he told me they were handing out excuses to people who were feeling sick due to emotional, mental or financial distress,” said Christian Hartsock. “They never performed an exam–he asked me how I was feeling today and I said I’m from California and I’m not used to the cold, so he handed me a note.”

Another woman, who wished to remain anonymous, said they were handing out excuses like they were leaflets.

“I asked if they were handing out doctors’ excuses and a guy said yes and asked me if I needed one,” she said. “When I told them I needed one for February 16 and 17th, he wondered if I wanted to come back here for the protests next week.”

What happened next?

“I said, ‘sure,’ and I received a doctor’s note for the 16th through the 25th of February, without a medical exam.”

The notes read

Feb 19, 2011

Patient’s name______

Date of birth ____/_____/_____

To Whom it May Concern:

This is confirm I have seen and evaluated the above named patient.

Please excuse from work/school due to a medical condition from

Please contact me at badgerdoctors@gmail.com if additional information is needed. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Physician Signature:

Based on an examination of the signature and medical license number provided, one of the men handing out these notes was purporting to be James H Shropshire MD, a Clinical Associate Professor at the University Wisconsin Madison.

At this time, MacIver News Service is attempting to contact Dr. Shropshire to see if indeed he was the one handing out the notes on the Capitol Square
Folks, it's time to get serious with these Idiots. The Doctors should be brought up on charges of Malpractice. The Teachers should be Fired, and the Democrats on the Lamb need to be recalled and or removed from Office all together. The end result of this mess? The Republicans and Gov. Walker WILL get what they want. Meanwhile, the Kids are suffering. All these people are being paid. Right? Yet NONE of them are doing their Jobs. Is that NOT misuse of Tax Payers money? Let's end the SHOW, and get on with Wisconsin Business, and let's get on with the Country's Business. Lets let these people know, without a doubt, play time is OVER. The Adults are in charge now. What do you think they are teaching our kids by all this? Think about that.

Gov. Chris Chistie 2.0

Hey folks,

The movement is growing. There IS a Conservative Ascendancy in America. The People spoke. They Elected People to do a Job. You want to know why I and many others were saying we need Adults to get back into Office to fix the things that the Juveniles messed up. Here is a CLEAR illustration.

In Wisconsin, The People Elect Gov. Scott Walker. The State is upside down by over Three Billion dollars. He makes some tough, and not so tough decisions, he sticks to them. He starts attempting to get things done. What do the Democrats do? They all load on a Bus, and skip out. What do the Teachers do? They refuse, which is illegal, to go to work. The KIDS suffer. What is the issue? Unions of course.

No. This is a bold political move, but it is a modest request of our employees. In fact, I should make it very clear: There are 300,000 state and local government employees. The vast majority of them for days have been showing up to work just like we paid them to do. The state senators who are hiding out down in Illinois should show up for work, have their say, have their vote, add their amendments. But in the end we've got a $3.6 billion budget deficit we've gotta balance, and I think for most people in the middle class outside of government they understand what we're asking for is still a lot less than what most of our average taxpayers are paying.

There 314 fire and police unions in the state. Four of them endorsed me; all the rest endorsed my opponent. For us it's simple: We cannot compromise for one minute public safety in this state. We've seen what's happened, unfortunately, with a number of our schools. It is illegal to strike in this state. We can't compromise our public safety. The millions and millions of taxpayers in the state have a right to be heard as well, and we can't raise taxes to balance this budget or we'll cripple the economy that already has about a 7-1/2% unemployment rate. To show that we're open for business we've gotta make it easier to put people to work here, and asking employees to pay half the national average for health care is truly a modest request.
What about the Democrats that skipped town?

I continue to work, and I'm calling on the members of the State Senate to show up and do the job that they're paid to do as well. On behalf of the people who pay their salaries, show up to work. They get paid to come to work and they should be coming to work. You can't have "conversations" if you're not at work.

They're hiding out in another state. They're hiding out in hopes that somehow that will test the resolve. If anything, I think it's made the Republicans in the Assembly and the Senate stronger. They're not gonna be bullied; they're not gonna be intimidated.
THAT is the sentiment, the GROWING sentiment in this Country. The American People asked the Liberal Leadership to slow down. Stop the Out of Control Spending. DO YOUR JOB. They said "Screw YOU!" The American People said NO to Obamacare. The Liberal Leadership said "Screw YOU! You will be part of it or else." Well this past Election, the People said "SCREW YOU. We will NOT be Bullied." State after State are standing up and asking "Why?" "Why are we doing all these things we can't pay for?" Governors, State Governments, TRUE Leaders are starting to stand up. They are saying "No more."

Congratulations Gov. Scott Walker. For having the Courage and the resolve to stand up and say "Enough is enough. Time for a Change." Do not give up. The President may be against you, but the American PEOPLE are behind you. Keep up the Good Work.

IWA For Sunday 022011

This is Pathetically Hilarious

Hey folks,

Time to wrap things up with the Idiot of the Week. This week was pretty easy. I mean, I know that this guy is doing his Job. He is TRYING REALLY HARD to do his Job. He is persistent. He is frustrated. He just ends up making up the outcome he was TRYING to do. However, it is a CLEAR message. One that his Boss already knows. The magic is gone.

Do you remember when Obama was running? Right after he won? He would travel, not only around the Country, but all over the World. Wherever Obama went, he was treated like a Rock Star. A Superhero. A god. He was the Magic Man. The One. People cheering, and fainting. Etc.

Now? He is no longer the Magic Man. He is no longer a god. He is no longer a Superhero, nor a Rock Star. The majority of Americans want him to leave Office after one term. No matter how hard the Obama State Run Media tries, the American People are having none of it.

However, SURELY the World loves us now. They still love Obama, So they go over to Egypt to find some people to put on Camera. They send our Idiot over there. Senior International Correspondent for CNN Nic Robertson.

Now Nic looks hard and far. Someone, ANYONE that will give Obama Credit for their, uh, "New found Freedom." He comes across Achmed. Here is the Exchange. Thank You Rush.

ROBERTSON: Achmed, you've been here down here on the Square for many days. The United States and the international community. You've just listened to President Obama saying that America will support Egypt if it wants help and assistance, and hopes that there will be a good transition for jobs for the young people. What would be your message for President Obama?

ACHMED: We don't know, actually, who he supports. He serves for his own purposes, and the Egyptian people serve for our freedom and democracy. Any democratic country should see for the people, not for its own purposes.
Translation? Obama WHO? {Laughing}So he continues to look for someone, anyone, to give Credit to Obama. He finds Mustapha
ROBERTSON: Mustapha is joining me now. We just heard President Obama say that he wants to extend, eh, support and assistance to Egypt and Egyptians if they want any, and he hopes that there are more jobs for the young people in the future. What's your message for President Obama?

MUSTAPHA: Well, my message to President Obama is just, "We started this revolution without any outside help, and we are going to finish it also without any outside help."
Translation? Obama WHO? But it's our Idiots Job to get someone to praise Obama. He persists with Mustapha
ROBERTSON: Are you pleased that President Obama has come out, however, now and said he supports this change and supports the people and supports the young people and -- and what they've done?

MUSTAPHA: Well, actually President Obama's views were kind of conflicting during the last week but now he's saying that he's supporting the change.
{Laughing} So try as hard as he could, he could NOT find someone to Praise Obama. He could not find someone that was even HAPPY with Obama. So how does he report this?

ROBERTSON: The view from here is one of very happy to now hear that President Obama has swung behind the people.
{Laughing, banging hand on Desk} "The view from here is one of very happy to now hear that President Obama has swung behind the people." Really? "Well, my message to President Obama is just, "We started this revolution without any outside help, and we are going to finish it also without any outside help."And "We don't know, actually, who he supports. He serves for his own purposes, and the Egyptian people serve for our freedom and democracy. Any democratic country should see for the people, not for its own purposes." Yeah they sound really happy about Obama. Right?

Congratulations Nic Robertson, you ARE the Idiot of the Week. Now nobody can deny that you were not at least TRYING to do your Job. But CLEARLY, you did not get the outcome you were looking for. Making it up AFTER the two you RECORDED, is fooling no one. {Laughing} But hey, thanks for the Laugh. I needed that. {Smile}

Pelsoi Called It AstroTurf, Is THAT Wisconsin?

Keep up the good work Gov. Walker..

Hey folks,

Happy Friday to you. Time to check in with the Emails. Have you been following what is going on in Wisconsin? Just like New Jersey, the PEOPLE Voted a guy in, they want him to bring about REAL change. He is DOING it. The Liberals are TICKED OFF! But the PEOPLE are happy.

"How can you say the people are happy Pete? Have you not seen the protests?" Yes. Yes, I have. But this is NOT a Tea Party type movement. This is TOTALLY Orchestrated by the Unions. Now, Obama may even get involved. I'm not kidding.

According to Red State.com - As Wisconsin Implodes, White House Plans Meeting With AFL-CIO War CouncilPosted by LaborUnionReport Thursday, February 17th at 6:00PM EST
Today is the third straight day of protests in Madison, Wisconsin as Barack Obama’s shock troops storm the state capitol to fight Governor Walker’s plan to reform the public-sector scam that has ravaged that state for decades.

As Democrats fled the statehouse (to an apparently non-union hotel in Illinois) to avoid doing the duties they were elected for and capitol staffers were told to lock their doors, the impression that the rest of America may have is that this is a “spontaneous” uprising (sort of like Tunisia and Egypt were supposed to be spontaneous). However, if that’s what you’re thinking, you couldn’t be more mistaken.

Despite his feigning ignorance on the situation in Wisconsin, the President’s background is as a “community organizer,” working with groups like ACORN and the SEIU. As a community organizer, their modus operandi is to make it seem as though marches and protests are “popular uprisings” [yeah, Mubarek got pwned].

Because of this background, this should come as no surprise to you…

According to the DNC’s activist arm OFA, “Organizing for America is mobilizing on the ground in Wisconsin…”

That’s right. The Democrat National Committee’s Organizing for America (along with their union boss buddies) are helping to orchestrate the “uprising” in Madison.

[Perhaps that's what Nancy Pelosi means by "astroturf."]

You can follow the OFA tweets from Wisconsin here.

However, it gets even better.

On March 4th, [via Politico] a closed-door meeting is being held at the AFL-CIO headquarters to ostensibly discuss the 2010 elections. The presenters include operatives from the AFL-CIO, DSCC, DGA and operatives from other “shadowy outside groups.”
Here’s the schedule (and list of speakers):

As stated on another post, the battle is in front of you.

This is just the beginning.
Did you see where yesterday, all the Senate Democrats got on one bus and left the State. {Laughing}To avoid the Vote, instead of DOING THEIR JOB, they got up and left. Which really tells you who these people are. They took their ball and went home. They wanted nothing to do with a Vote they KNOW they will lose. How many of you out there think you would still have a Job if YOU got up and walked out. Cowards and Idiots all. They should just Vote No. When the Unions are protesting, they can PROVE that they Voted no and just failed to win the Vote. But to get up and LEAVE? They had better have left the State, because last I heard, the Police where looking for them. Great Leadership. Right?

I have no Idea if this is true or not, but think about this. Gov Chris Christie got the Ball Rolling in New Jersey. Maybe Gov. Walker was watching and paying attention? Maybe more are getting ready to follow. Now we need the Members in the House to follow their lead. Then in 2012, we need one in the White House. We need BOLD and FEARLESS Leadership. People that can make tough decisions. And STICK to them. There IS a Conservative Ascendancy happening in this Country. Our new and soon to be, Leaders can either learn, and jump on board, or they can be wiped out in the wave of TRUE Change that is starting to take hold.
