All we keep hearing, from the start, leading all the way up to, the Iowa Straw Poll, is Romney is our guy. Not from US. But from the Establishment types, and the Mainstream Media. He is a real, serious, and genuine Candidate. He is not some fringe, Right Field Kook, like those Tea Party Members support.

We were told that he is the Number One Guy. The ONLY one on the Right capable of beating Obama. Forget the Tea Party. {Spoiler Alert} Our IWA Winner this Week wants you to believe that the Tea Party is NOT Mainstream America. They are simply:

"freaked out white men who are unemployed and have been unemployed for three years and they're scared to death."

We KEEP hearing this NONSENSE. We keep hearing how the Tea Party is a SMALL, insignificant, White, Racist, Chauvinistic, Homophobes, who want to take this Country back to the dark ages. I said this. Or, I will in a few minutes. {Smile}

"This couldn't be further from the REALITY of the Situation. The Tea Party is made up of MOSTLY Employed People. Some Rich, some Poor, some White, some Black. People from all over the Country. They are AMERICA."

We have also learned that over HALF are Women. The Media and the Left want you to believe that you are in the Minority in this country. If you WANT Smaller Government, less Taxation, and Government out of our Private Lives, you are in the Minority. If you AGREE with Obama, and the Liberal Agenda, then you are Mainstream. Come on people. Get with the Program. Don't listen to these "Tea Partiers." They are all Kooks. The Majority in this Country believe the way we do. Liberalism is the way of America now. God, Family Values, Small Government? That is all so YESTERDAY. No one believes in all that stuff today.

So we go into a Debate Mitt Won. No one could touch him. He came out unscathed. What about Bachmann? WHAT? Are you serious? Come on Pete. She is a Kook. She can't Win. How many times does the Media have to tell you that NO ONE spouting Conservative Values can Win?

Well, according to the AP - Bachmann wins GOP 2012 test vote By MIKE GLOVER and PHILIP ELLIOTT Associated Press

AMES, Iowa (AP) -- Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann won a test vote of Iowans on Saturday, a show of popularity and organizational strength for the tea party favorite five months before the state's caucuses kick off the GOP presidential nominating season.

The result is the first indication of what Iowans think of the field of Republicans competing for the chance to challenge President Barack Obama next fall. But it's hardly predictive of who will win the winter Iowa contest, much less the party nod or the White House.

Rather, Saturday's outcome suggests that Bachmann has a certain level of support and, perhaps even more important, the strongest get-out-the-vote operation and widest volunteer base in a state whose caucuses require those elements.

Whoa, Whoa! What was that? Bachmann Won? REALLY? How did that happen? Well, surely Romney came in Second. Right?

Texas Rep. Ron Paul finished a close second while former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty placed a distant third.

"We have a lot more work to do," Pawlenty said, making clear he wasn't dropping out despite a disappointing finish. "We are just beginning and I'm looking forward to a great campaign."

The results of the nonbinding vote, held on the Iowa State University campus, came just hours after Texas Gov. Rick Perry entered the race.

"I full well believe I'm going to win," Perry told South Carolina voters on a conference call before delivering his first speech as a candidate.

"It's time to get America working again," he declared in Charleston, S.C. "America is not broken. Washington, D.C. is broken."

Wait Perry? A WRITE IN CANDIDATE? 718 write-in Votes. What happen to Romney? 567 votes. That's 151 MORE Votes to someone not even on the Ballot than Romney.

The evidence is CLEAR. Do NOT be fooled folks. There is NO DOUBT. Conservatism is on the Assent. Remember what I said about Bachmann a little while back?

There is a REAL fear out there that they HAVE indeed done a good job in making Sarah Palin unelectable. I do not think so, but they do. So here comes another Beautiful, smart, serious, FEMALE, who is NOT Palin. Her name is Michele Bachmann. So those that may have wanted to Vote for Palin, may very well NOW go with Bachmann. Regardless of what the MMD and the Left tell you, they are terrified of this scenario. I can't imagine what they think of this. Look for the Attacks on Bachmann to INCREASE starting today.

The American People keep speaking LOUD and CLEAR. Over and Over again. It can no longer be ignored. It can't be spun. It can't be explained away. It is NOT going away. Conservatism is on the Assent. We ARE a Right leaning, God Fearing, Family Oriented, Country Loving, Conservative Country. We are a simple folk. We LOVE the Constitution. We WANT smaller Government. A Government OF the people, by the people, for the People. We WANT the American Dream. The Pursuit of Life, Liberty, and Happiness. No more back room, smoke filled deals. No more Political Games. We need REAL Hope, and REAL Change. We can not get there by the same old, same old. We need NEW. The People keep talking. Is anyone in Washington DC Listening?

Time to wrap things up with the Idiot of the Week. Do you remember when Journalists were True Journalists? Where they beat the Street to uncover the FACTS and TRUTH and Report them to you for you to make up your own mind on what to believe? Yeah, I know. Let me rephrase the question. Do you remember when they at least PRETENDED to be Neutral? Unbiased?

Now I have been telling you for years that they have even stopped trying to hide it now. They are nothing more than the Corporate Media and they simply report whatever they are told to. Gone are the days of independent, hard hitting, real Journalism. What we have left is nothing more than an extension of the Liberals in Washington. An Attack Organization and Cheerleaders for the Liberal Agenda.

A while back, I talked about how the New York Times Violates their own Ethics Policy Daily. Now we have another clear case of this. Her name? Jennifer Preston. Preston is a Fake Journalist, Book Author, Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, and long-time New York Times Employee.

According to the NYT's Ethic Policy:

Steering Clear of Advice Roles

40. It is an inherent conflict for a journalist to perform public relations work, paid or unpaid. Staff members may not counsel individuals or organizations on how to deal successfully with the news media. They may not, for example, advise candidates for public office, write or edit annual reports, or contribute to the programs of sports teams.

41. They may, of course, explain the newsroom's normal workings and steer outsiders to the appropriate editor or reporter. They may offer basic advice to community or neighborhood institutions such as their child's school, a small museum, a local charity or their house of worship.

42. They should not take part in public relations workshops that charge admission or imply privileged access to the press, or participate in surveys asking their opinion of an organization's media relations or public image. But on occasion they may describe our procedures to public relations groups with the goal of improving the flow of pertinent information.

43. Staff members may not serve as ghostwriters or co-authors for people or groups who figure in coverage they are likely to provide, prepare or supervise. They may not undertake such assignments for organizations that espouse a cause.

Actually, I could highlight A LOT of the Ethics Policy here that would highlight Ms. Preston's naughty behaviour, but I think you get the point. They are suppose to be NEUTRAL. UNBAIS. They are not suppose to be in bed with ANY Politician, or Political Party. I know, I know. But they are at least not suppose to ADVERTISE that they ARE.

So what does Preston do at the NYTs? She is the Paper’s first Social Media Editor. She is in charge of Tweets. SO what does she do? She tries to TEACH Obama and Crew how to Flood Twitter with their Propaganda about the Evil Republicans and the Debt Ceiling Debate. {Laughing} I kid you not. Minutes after President Obama urged Americans this morning to tweet their support for a Democratic debt-ceiling bill, a New York Times reporter prompted the White House to organize the effort with a special Twitter hashtag.

Hashtags use the “#” symbol to mark keywords or topics on Twitter. They often help drive messages by linking similar messages together in a common theme.

At 10:55 a.m. the Times’s Jennifer Preston suggested that administration officials might create a hashtag, so tweeting Democrats could jointly target Republicans who are now trying to pass their own debt ceiling plan.

Preston tweeted to a White House rep, saying “@macon44 Hi there. I heard the President ask the people to tweet re: debt ceiling. Are you guys using specific hashtag?”

A minute later, she tweeted a followup to White House staffer Jesse Lee, saying, “Hi Jesse, what’s the hashtag that you guys are urging people to use in their tweets to Congress re: debtceiling.” Lee is the White House’s s director of progressive media & online response. Eight minutes later, at 11:04, the White House’s press shop announced a new hashtag for Democrats to use when targeting GOP members of Congress: “@NYT_JenPreston People responding to POTUS shld use #compromise. As he said, it is ‘time for #compromise on behalf of the American people.’”

At 11:31, The Washington Post reported out the new hashtag, and at 12.32, staffers at the White House’s Office of Management and Budget re-tweeted the same message. “RT @postpolitics: The @whitehouse new media team has said people responding to the President on Twitter should use #compromise.”

Preston, whose own tweet ID is @NYT_JenPreston, covers social media in politics and government. Reached by TheDC for comment, she insisted that she wasn’t trying to aid the White House in any way.

What? OF COURSE YOU WERE. You know that she KNOWS what she was doing was against her own Ethics Policy by her quick denial of her doing, well, what she was doing. It ends with this statement by Preston.

“I wasn’t doing it to help the White House,” she added. “I was doing it to help myself.”

Of course you were helping yourself. You need to keep having the Paycheck coming in. So, like a good little Drone, you simply do whatever they tell you. I know your Paper lost ALL Credibility a while ago but JEEZ Ms. Preston. At least PRETEND to be Neutral. It would be like me, saying to someone trying to figure out a Math Problem, "Hey, why do you not use a Calculator? Here is one." Of course you were HELPING them. It didn't work though. Better be careful Ms. Preston. They will throw YOU under the Bus. It was YOUR fault that their little Twitter Spam thing didn't work. They were following bad advice from YOU. Do not doubt that. They NEVER take credit for Failures.

Congratulations Jennifer Preston, for openly and outwardly violating your own companies Ethics Rules and Regulations, YOU are the Idiot of the Week. For that completely pointless denial, maybe it is YOU that needs some help in Covertness and Denial. But then again, it IS the NYTs. We have come to expect none the less.

Happy Hump day to ya. Since 2006, I Have Told You the Media IS Controlled George Soros IS the MMD Guru. {Mass Media Drones} He owns and controls much of what they do and say. All the way back on October 20, 2006, I posted this. Getting Closer To Unmasking The Mass Media Guru. I talked about the Word or Phrase of the Day. I told you about the secret morning conference calls with Howard Dean and George Soros.

I even had some fun back on Friday, March 06, 2009 Rush Limbaugh Admitted He Was Wrong, I Was Right where I posted this.

RUSH: "Now, I have said in the past, long ago, in discussing media bias, that I don't think that the old media and the drive-bys got together and had their conference calls in the morning to decide what news was going to be and how it was going to be reported, what wasn't going to be news and all that, I said because they don't have to. They basically think the same, they see things the same, and I think if they do get together it's in the bar after work over adult beverages where such unified phrases as gravitas and other things happen to spread throughout the Drive-By Media."

Then he admitted he was wrong and pointed out ABC's The Note that disclosed the morning conference calls. Rush was wrong and I was right the whole time. {Smile} Just kidding folks. I love Rush. Anyway, time went on and I pointed out more and more examples that Soros DOES indeed control the Media.

So what about Fox News. They are NOT owned nor controlled by Soros. Therefore Soros wants to destroy them. You see, the old Media can no longer get away with controlling what the "people" hear and see. They no long control the News and the Narrative on, well, anything. You have the NEW Media. Talk Radio, The Blogs, and of course, Fox News. You have many on the Left that want the "Fairness Doctrine" in shut down Talk Radio. Obama already CONTROLS the Internet and Congress has given him the Authority to Shut DOWN whatever Site he deems as a Security Threat. Did you miss that? Last of Four Parts

To hear the left tell it, Fox News has a "history of inciting Islamophobia and racial and ethic animosity" and tries to "race bait its viewers." One staffer is called a "hit man," while his network is accused of "attack politics." A highly questionable study is hyped by numerous outlets claiming that it "confirms that Fox News makes you stupid." Fox is called simply: "The Liars' Network."

Sure, liberals have it in for Fox News, but that deep-seated, anti-Fox agenda isn't just an organic response from the left. It's a George Soros-funded "echo chamber" "in which a message pushes the larger public or the mainstream media to acknowledge, respond, and give airtime to progressive ideas because it is repeated many times." That's how the strategy was described in a report by the Soros-funded Media Consortium called "The Big Thaw."

The goal is "Taking Down Fox News," as "Mother Jones," a member of the consortium, described it in a headline. That article, about another Soros-funded operation called Color of Change, explained how "it successfully urged several advertisers, including Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and RadioShack, to pull their ads from Beck's show." In all, nearly 30 organizations have attacked Fox News in the six months since the beginning of December, 2010.

Think Progress, the heavily Soros-funded blog for the Center for American Progress, slammed Fox more than 30 times in six months. AlterNet, an especially unhinged liberal outlet, went after the network at least 18 times in those months. It is one of 45 organizations aided by Soros' support of the Media Consortium - "a network of the country's leading, progressive, independent media outlets."

These outlets are all part of Soros' web of media organizations that mirror his view of Fox as their enemy. That's the way he describes it in the new book, "The Philanthropy of George Soros." "Those in charge of Fox News, Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes, have done well in identifying me as their adversary," he wrote. "They have done less well in the methods they used to attack me: Their lies shall not stand and their techniques shall not endure."

That anti-Fox agenda is reflected in plans by another group in Soros' pocket to target the network specifically. Media Matters founder David Brock said his Soros-funded operation ($1.1 million) will "focus on [News Corp. CEO Rupert] Murdoch and trying to disrupt his commercial interests."

This information is part of an upcoming report by the Media Research Center's Business & Media Institute, which has been looking into George Soros and his influence on the media.

The left hating Fox isn't new. But the efforts of the different groups take on an amazing similarity. Take the University of Maryland study that seemed so critical of Fox News. The study itself included this nugget: "This suggests that misinformation cannot simply be attributed to news sources, but are part of the larger information environment that includes statements by candidates, political ads and so on." That didn't stop any of the groups from using it against Fox News. AlterNet, Washington Monthly, Think Progress and The Nation. It quickly moved into the mainstream media from there.

That's just part of Soros' influence. He denies having a media empire, despite spending easily more than $48 million on that empire and having top journalists from more than 30 major news organizations serving on the boards of groups he funds. It reaches at least 180 media organizations, and many other groups he funds include a media component in what they do.

In the case of Robert Greenwald, he's turned attacking Fox into a mini-industry. Greenwald is founder and president of Brave New Films, also part of the Soros-funded Media Consortium. Greenwald was also behind "OUTFOXED: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism," The site for the movie that argues: "FOX News is on a witch hunt. Fight back." The Brave New Films site has an entire section going after Fox called: "When Fox Attacks." It claims: "Videos from this campaign have been viewed over 8 million times."

When Soros was criticized by Fox, multiple pieces of the Soros Empire responded. In one case, Jonathan Schell, a fellow at The Nation Institute, another part of the Media Consortium, made Fox News out to be anti-Semitic for criticizing Soros. An opinion piece titled, "The Protocols of Rupert Murdoch," a reference to the infamous anti-Semitic "Protocols of The Elders of Zion," blasted Glenn Beck.

Schell claimed Beck's criticism of 'the financier and philanthropist George Soros' in effect "recycles, almost in carbon copy, the tropes of the most virulent anti-Semitic ideologues." The column was distributed by another Soros-funded entity, Project Syndicate, which reaches "462 leading newspapers in 150 countries," with a monthly circulation of 72,815,528.

It's that sort of cooperation that makes the Soros-funded "echo chamber" successful. Go on AlterNet and find articles from The Nation, a rant by Robert Greenwald or an interview by Amy Goodman of Democracy Now! Or go on New America Media's site and find an article from Color Lines.

The content from the 180 media sites that Soros helps support can be linked, cited or reposted, adding to the sense that there is strong interest in any particular "progressive idea." It's just one more way George Soros influences the media.

But then again, we already know that the Liberal Lonney Left do not deal in Reality anyway. This is why it is more important than ever, to look around YOURSELF. See what you see. White House Threatens Use Of Media Attack Dogs

This should come as no surprise to you whatsoever. For YEARS now I have been telling you about the MMD. The Mainstream Media Drones. They report what they are TOLD to report. True Journalism is dead folks. Truly dead. They are nothing more that an attack branch of the Far Left Wing Liberal Kooks, or the LWL.

I have given you example after example that they all work off the same script. I told you about the morning Conference calls between the LWL and the MMD. I proved to you over and over again that they only attack whom is an enemy of the Far Left Agenda. Whomever is perceived as the enemy of the LWL, and the new full fledged quest for Tyranny. Ask "Joe the Plumber." A Private Citizen that DARED asked the False Messiah, the Almighty Obama a question. The full weight of the Government and the MMD were unleashed on him.

VP Biden? Running around making Racist statements. Ignored. Then again, most of the time, Biden opens his mouth, he is ignored. "Just Biden being Biden." But "Joe the Plumber?"

Over the years, they COMPLETELY IGNORE. Democrats actually having REAL sex with Pages? Nothing. Foley Internet disturbing IMs? Front page news for weeks. Democrat William Jefferson accepting bribes on tape, and $90,000 in his freezer. They attack those who found it. Pelosi did ask him to step down, he said, No. End of story. No more investigation. Reid????? Bribes, payoffs, illegal land deals, illegally using campaign funds to give Christmas bonuses? Nothing. No investigation. Not even one day front page news.

Then remember this ?

"Webb's comments to the Times-Dispatch prompted Allen campaign officials to direct a reporter to Dan Cragg, a former acquaintance of Webb's, who said Webb used the {N}word while describing his own behavior during his freshman year at the University of Southern California in the early 1960s. Webb later transferred to the U.S. Naval Academy.

Cragg, 67, who lives in Fairfax County, said on Wednesday that Webb described taking drives through the black neighborhood of Watts, where he and members of his ROTC unit used racial epithets and pointed fake guns at blacks to scare them. Nothing more than this blip.

"Macaca" Front page news for weeks. Ask Palin. An army of reporters decent on her State to dig up any dirt they can find. Attack her underage Daughter, Husband, ETC. Obama? Hell, we do not even really know if he is EVEN a US CITICIZEN!

So this should not come as a surprise to any of you out there. Seems that the White house may have threatened another Private Citizen with the power of the MMD.

An attorney representing several Chrysler bondholders accused the Obama administration of intimidating his clients by issuing threats of public humiliation if they opposed their brokered deal to resolve the automaker’s debts. Speaking to WJR, Thomas Lauria said that the White House called the bondholders “vultures” for insisting on their rights as senior creditors and told them that the Obama administration would use the White House press corps to attack them in the media.

Lauria: "Let me tell you it’s no fun standing on this side of the fence opposing the President of the United States. In fact, let me just say, people have asked me who I represent. That’s a moving target. I can tell you for sure that I represent one less investor today than I represented yesterday. One of my clients was directly threatened by the White House and in essence compelled to withdraw its opposition to the deal under the threat that the full force of the White House Press Corps would destroy its reputation if it continued to fight. That’s how hard it is to stand on this side of the fence."

Beckman: Was that Perella Weinberg?

Lauria: That was Perella Weinberg.

So who was it that made the threat? According to Lauria, it was Steve Rattner, the leader of the Obama administration’s Auto Industry Task Force. But we know that the MMD Guru, the man behind the Black and White Curtain, is George Soros. We know that Soros also OWNS Obama. We know that the MMD has been nothing more than hacks for the LWL for years. So although this is disturbing to some of you out there, this is not a surprise. Watch for it to get much worse. The arrogance of these people, including Obama himself is staggering. They feel that they are now completely untouchable. As I also keep saying, it's time to remind them, THEY WORK FOR US. We are not here to serve them. It really is, just that simple.

Some Things You Will NOT Read In The Mainstream Media

I just posted for you the President’s entire statement of his Veto of the Embryonic Stem Cell Bill. Here are a few things you most likely will not see, read, or hear about in the MMD.

America is also a nation founded on the principle that all human life is sacred -- and our conscience calls us to pursue the possibilities of science in a manner that respects human dignity and upholds our moral values.


Absolutely. But they do not want you to remember that. To them, abortion is simply a medical procedure. They have attempted to tie this research with abortion.

Therefore, if you are against this, then you are against a women’s "right" to chose. Even if there is NO "Right" to kill an innocent live. But these two ARE seperate.I'm also up here with Carol Franz; she has whipped cancer twice by using adult stem cells. In other words, adult stem cells have saved her life. She's a determined woman who believes strongly that there are different alternatives available to use stem cells other than those which are created as the result of destruction of human life.

As I have pointed out to you in the past, there is NO scientific evidence that Embryonic stem cells do ANYTHING. There is as proven here, very real proof that stem cells from adults DO work. They also work better if they come directly from the patient themselves.

In 2001, I announced a policy to advance stem cell research in a way that is ambitious, ethical, and effective. I became the first President to make federal funds available for embryonic stem cell research -- and my policy did this in ways that would not encourage the destruction of embryos. Since then, my administration has made more than $130 million available for research on stem cell lines derived from embryos that had already been destroyed. We've provided more than $3 billion for research on all forms of stem cells -- including those from adult and other non-embryonic sources.

Do you remember that? Did you even KNOW that?

This careful approach is producing results. It has contributed to proven therapeutic treatments in thousands of patients with many different diseases. It's opening the prospect of new discoveries that could transform lives.

Positive signs of progress. Embryonic? Nothing.

Congress has sent me a bill that would overturn this policy. If this legislation became law, it would compel American taxpayers -- for the first time in our history -- to support the deliberate destruction of human embryos. I made it clear to Congress and to the American people that I will not allow our nation to cross this moral line. Last year, Congress passed a similar bill -- I kept my promise by vetoing it. And today I'm keeping my word again: I am vetoing the bill that Congress has sent. (Applause.)

Were you aware of that? They would in essence forgo the positive progress made, to kill innocent lives, just to keep abortion legal.

Destroying human life in the hopes of saving human life is not ethical-- and it is not the only option before us. We're already seeing remarkable advances in the science and therapeutic uses of stem cells drawn from adults and children, and the blood from umbilical cords -- with no harm to the donor. Researchers value embryonic stem cells because they are pluripotent -- which means that they have the potential to develop into nearly all the cell types and tissues in the body. Researchers are now developing promising new techniques that offer the potential to produce pluripotent stem cells -- without having to destroy human life.

SO? Why not? Why would we not continue to investigate ways that ARE working? Oh yeah, abortion.

For example, several new studies released earlier this month showed the potential of reprogramming adult cells -- such as skin cells -- to make them function like embryonic stem cells. It's exciting new research taking place in the United States of America. Scientists from all over the country hailed this as an important breakthrough. And I'm pleased to report to you that my administration and the NIH helped fund this exciting work. The taxpayers' dollars are going to new kinds of therapies, new kinds of science, new kinds of work that do not cross a moral and ethical line.

Great!

A few months earlier, scientists discovered that cells extracted from amniotic fluid and placentas could also provide stem cells that seem to do what embryonic cells can. Still other researchers are investigating how to combine reprogramming and other innovative techniques to produce stem cells with the abilities of embryonic stem cells -- without creating or destroying embryos. There's a lot of interesting work going on that's ethical and moral. Scientists are exploring ways to collect stem cells in the same manner that doctors now rescue organs from patients who have died.

We already harvest organs. Why not try stem cells?

With us today are patients who are benefiting from ethical stem cell research -- including Kaitlyne McNamara. Kaitlyne was born with spinabifida, a disease that damaged her bladder. None of the treatments her doctor tried had worked; she was in danger of kidney failure. Then her doctors took a piece of her bladder, isolated the healthy stem cells, and used them to grow a new bladder in a laboratory -- which they then transplanted into her. And here she stands, healthy. (Applause.) Scientific advances like this one are important and should give us hope that there's a better way forward than scientific advances that require the destruction of a human life.

Living breathing PROOF. As opposed to theory. Congratulations to Ms McNamara.

The researchers pursuing these kinds of ethically responsible advances deserve our support, and there is legislation in Congress to give them that support. Recently, the United States Senate passed a bill sponsored by Norm Coleman and others that would authorize additional federal funding for alternative stem cell research. The bill was approved with the backing of 70 United States senators. The House leaders need to pass similar legislation that would authorize additional funds for ethical stem cell research. That would be an important advancement. It would be an important statement. Because we can't lose the opportunity to conduct research that would give hope to those suffering from terrible diseases -- and help this country move beyond the controversies over embryo destruction.

We have a good chance to put aside all the politics and focus on a good piece of legislation that advances science and doesn't cross an ethical line. Norm, I want to thank you and Johnny Isakson for sponsoring that piece of legislation. (Applause.)

In the meantime, my administration is taking immediate action to increase our support for researchers in their vital work. Earlier today, I issued an executive order to strengthen our nation's commitment to research on pluripotent stem cells. This order takes a number of important steps. The order directs the Department of Health and Human Services and the NIH to ensure that any human pluripotent stem cell lines produced in ways that do not create, destroy, or harm human embryos will be eligible for federal funding.

OK, most likely NOT why you think, but I want you to remember this. He issued an executive order. More on this later or tomorrow. Just keep this in mind.

The order expands the NIH Embryonic Stem Cell registry to include all types of ethically produced human pluripotent stem cells. The order renames the registry -- calls it this, the Pluripotent Stem Cell Registry -- so it reflects what stem cells can do, instead of where they come from. The order invites scientists to work with the NIH, so we can add new ethically derived stem cell lines to the list of those eligible for federal funding. I direct Secretary Leavitt to conduct an assessment of what resources will be necessary to support this important new research. This science which does not cross ethical lines requires money. I believe it is a good use of taxpayers' money to spend money on this kind of science and research. And Michael is going to expedite it, that's what that means -- it's a fancy paragraph for saying he's going to get it done.(Laughter.)

In other words, if Scientists do the right thing, they will get funding, if not, they get nothing. Sounds goods to me.

With these steps, we'll encourage scientists to expand the frontiers of stem cell research. We want to encourage science. We want to say, we stand on your side in an ethically responsible way. Scientists have recently shown they have the ingenuity and skill to pursue the potential benefits of pluripotent stem cell research. Here's two of them right here. That's why they're standing here, they have showed what's possible. I have confidence in their abilities to continue to develop new techniques. With our expanded support of non-destructive research methods, we'll make it more likely that these exciting advances continue to unfold.

Technical innovation in this difficult area is opening up new possibilities for progress without conflict or ethical controversy. So I invite policymakers and scientists to come together to speed our nation toward the destination we all seek -- where medical problems can be solved without compromising either the high aims of science or the sanctity of human life.
