We Have It, They Admit It, However, We Can't Use IT.

This is a GREAT Article.

Hey folks,

Happy Tuesday to ya. This is a GREAT Article. It really is. Just one problem, which it even admits. It's by News Chief - What U.S. energy crisis? Published: Monday, March 26, 2012 at 6:28 a.m.

Every election year, the politicians take malicious delight in panicking Americans with lurid predictions of an imminent energy crisis: We're running out of oil. We're running out of natural gas. The oil sheikhs will be dictating how we run the country.

The solution, of course, is always to elect the politicians making the charges. It's all nonsense.
OK remember this. To say we need to Elect a Politician to CHANGE Obama's Energy Policies is nonsense? We will look at this again in a few seconds.

A March 20 Wall Street Journal commentary by Citi's top commodities researcher, Ed Morse, contends that "in energy, North America is becoming the new Middle East."

That might have been an overstatement, but not by much.

The U.S. and Canada's proven reserves of oil and natural gas are increasing at rates that would have been considered fantasy only a few years ago.

The conservative calculations of the Energy Information Administration said oil reserves increased 8.6 percent from December 2008 to December 2009 and natural gas reserves rose 11.3 percent — and those were economically down years when exploration would presumably slow down.

Natural gas reserves reached their highest level since 1971.

Proven reserves are those that the EIA deems reasonably recoverable given existing technology and economic conditions.

Of course, the technology is constantly improving and high demand makes the recovery profitable.

And then there are new discoveries, like the Bakken Field underlying almost all of North Dakota and parts of South Dakota and Montana. It is estimated to hold 481 billion barrels of oil.

Indeed, because of our refining capacity, the United States became a net petroleum exporter last year for the first time since 1949.

In The Wall Street Journal, Morse writes, "The United States has become the fastest-growing oil and gas producer in the world, and it is likely to remain so for the rest of this decade and into the 2020s."
Now this is true. However, a bit misleading. This is IN SPITE of Obama's War on Energy. His outright hostility to anything Oil, Natural Gas, and Coal. IN SPITE of Obama standing in the way, we have been able to do this. Imagine what we could do if he would get OUT of the way.

Canada is enjoying a similar boom in production and explorations. And one can hope that the overregulation and underinvestment restricting production in Mexico and Venezuela won't last forever.
We would profit greatly from and WITH them if Obama would allow the Keystone Pipeline to be fully built. He is NOT. HE is standing in the way of this also.

In the United States, it would help if the federal government wouldn't get distracted by uneconomic and wasteful incentives for ethanol, electric cars, wind mills that chop up great numbers of birds for tiny contributions to the electricity grid and schemes for extracting fuel from random plants.
OBAMA!

The government's efforts should be directed to research, investment and regulation to insure that this energy, which our economy must have, is extracted cleanly and safely.

The "new Middle East" sounds pretty good energy-wise, but we'd just as soon skip the political turmoil. With the coming election, we have a surplus of our own.
OK, so? "The solution, of course, is always to elect the politicians making the charges. It's all nonsense?" THAT is nonsense. It is OBAMA that said the Coal Industry would go Bankrupt, and he was proud about that. It is Obama that said he likes $4.00 plus a gallon Gas. It is HIS Administration that said we need to find a way to INCREASE our Gas Prices to those of Europe. They have of course backed off that. It is OBAMA that put into place Moratoriums both actual and de facto, that have cost America hundreds of thousands of Jobs. It IS Obama standing in the way of the Keystone Pipeline. Oh, he attempted to take credit for that of which he could not stop if he wanted to, and what he has no say on, but he IS blocking the Majority of it for no other reason than Politics.

It IS OBAMA who keeps throwing hundreds of Billions of Dollars into Companies that do nothing but line the Pockets of their CEO's, fire Employees, produce NOTHING, and go out of business. No folks, it's NOT nonsense. It's FACT! We need someone in Office that understands REALITY, and is committed to doing what we need to do. Forget the Gas Prices, that we KNOW from History WILL go down. Forget the new Jobs it WILL create, that we know from History. We are talking nearly if not more than a TRILLION dollars in NEW REVENUE that it WILL generate. We have a President that just says no. While saying NO, continues to spend more money. Think about that.

Jobs, Jobs, Jobs

It the Economy Stupid.

Hey folks,

Obama and Crew LOVE to talk about Jobs. OK. Lets. Obama has cost America Hundreds of Thousands of Jobs. Some say that this is directly linked to the Liberal Policies that we have been held hostage to for the past two and a half years. They would be right. Indirectly, no matter how good the intent, Obama has actually cost America MILLIONS of Jobs.

First, Fannie and Freddie. The Housing bust. Builders, Real estate people, Loan Officers, Appraisers, Inspectors, ETC. Government Takeover of GM? Dealers closed, Sales people. Factory Workers. The surrounding businesses that rely on the Factories, ETC. Obamacare? Green Regulations? The EPA out of control? Uncertainty on Taxes? You get uncertainty in the Work place, Market Place, Retail loses simply because people are not spending their money. Not wise to spend, if you are not confident that you will continue to have income. When the Space Shuttle lands? Some estimate 18,000 will be added to the Unemployment Rolls. Surrounding Businesses that rely on Tourists and Space Program Workers? Yup. They WILL be effected as well.

Then you Got Obama and Crews OUTRIGHT Assault on the Energy Industry. From an intentional attempt to BANKRUPT the Coal Industry, to the De-Facto Moratorium, Obama has cost America Jobs, Security, and Higher Energy Costs for ALL.

In 2009, the Industry employed around 1.7 Million directly and another Four Million indirectly. That is estimated on some very, very Conservative estimates. If they were left alone to do their thing, they could have by now, from just one area they wanted to look into, generated $1.7 trillion in incremental revenues to the Government.

Enter Obama? 60,000 jobs in the Gulf States alone have been lost since 2008 due to our Obama Economy. Thanks to the completely POINTLESS Moratorium, the Rigs packed up and went elsewhere taking their Jobs with them. The API and the National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA) released a study that quantifies the Job losses as well as the opportunities for Job creation. It is in depth, and lengthy, but WELL WORTH the time to check it out. If the Government was to just get out of the way? According to the Report,

· Greater access to Gulf development could increase offshore employment by 77 percent– from 242,000 jobs in 2010 to 430,000 jobs in 2013 – with almost a quarter of the new jobs outside of the Gulf region.
"But Pete, Obama lifted the Moratorium." Yes, and he put into place a “Permitorium.” A way to SAY he is allowing new Drilling, then NOT allowing Permits to be given. A De-Facto Moratorium.

However, just higher Energy Costs and Jobs loses is not the ONLY effect Obama is having by his assault on Energy. He is costing Revenue loses, and Retirement loses for A LOT of Americans. This COULD be YOU.

75 percent of Oil Company Stocks are held by Retirement Plans of Millions of Americans. Obama is COSTING them, perhaps even YOU, a HUGE chuck of YOUR Retirement Benefits.

Now lets talk about Revenue. The Debate in Washington right now is how do we cut the Deficit. How do we NOT raise the Dept Ceiling and NOT raise Taxes. Well, there is an answer right in front of all of us. It has been here the whole time. OIL and NATURAL GAS. You know, what make the World WORK.

As we have talked about before, through increased access to North America’s vast reserves, together with our friends in the North, Canada, we could provide 92 percent of America’s liquid fuel needs by 2030. By increasing access, we could produce $4 Trillion in s State and Federal revenue. Look at that number folks. That is not a fuzzy Math number. That is not a made up number. That is REAL Money. Just doing this ALONE could eliminate nearly 30 percent of the National Debt.

Based on numbers from the Congressional Budget Office, that’s enough money to:

• Supply veterans’ benefits for 83 years.
• Cover the cost of Social Security and Medicare payments for nearly 3 years.
• Cover the cost of the entire defense budget for nearly six years.
Again, all this would CREATE Jobs.

To put that in perspective, that would provide enough jobs to employ 85 percent of Vermont’s entire population. By 2015, development of the Marcellus Shale alone could create 160,000 jobs in Pennsylvania, 20,000 jobs in New York and 30,000 jobs in West Virginia. Add that to the 9.2 million Americans currently employed by the oil industry and you’ve got the economic engine powering our economy and our way of life.
So as the Politicians fight it out in Washington. REAL Americans are standing by with REAL answers. Not Government Policies, and Plans. The American Spirit. The FREE MARKET. American itself will heal itself, if the Government would just get out of the way. As Reagan said:

"Government is not the solution to our problem government IS the problem "
Government created Double Dip Housing Depression, Record High Unemployment, Out of control Dept. Just this ONE Industry, could CREATE REAL long lasting Jobs, INCREASE Revenues that the Government will NEVER see with Tax increases on ANYONE. It will BOOST the Economy in General, helping to actually CUT the National Debt. Housing? Like I said on the Tom Sullivan Radio Show a while back, Economic recovery HAS to start with Jobs. No Job, you are not going to invest in a HOME, Car, or anything else. You will pay the Electric, and EAT. Buy Gas to go to go FIND a Job, if you can, until you can no longer afford the Gas.

Again folks, this is ONE Private Industry, capable of all this. Imagine if Government would just get out of the way, and let the Free Market, BE the Free Market once again. Imagine what we could do together. Not Government Insiders, but the AMERICAN PEOPLE.

Gas and Oil Cheaper, More Reliable, and Easier Than Green

The World is discovering.

Hey folks,

If you have visited here more than a couple of times, you understand my views on Liberalism. It can be summed up this simply. Liberalism: Quick to Dream, slow to THINK. Liberalism is FEEL Good. Forget Logic, Reason, or actual Thought. If it sounds good, feels good, and you could be considered a "good and Intelligent Person" for doing it, than JUST do it.

We've talked about this being how "Global Warming" has become a Religion. It possesses the same attributes as any Mainstream Religion. It has rewards, Punishments, Laws to follow, Salvation and Repentance, ETC. Like with most Religions, those that accept it as absolute Fact, neither question, nor accept, ANY possibility that it could be error. Any part of it. They will NEVER be convinced that it is NOT the Truth, and or, the FACTS do not back up what they are being told. They will just blindly follow it.

This is how those seeking to PROFIT from it, Power, Control, and of course, all that Money, STAY in business. This is HOW people like Al Gore, who understands Human Nature, has made Hundreds of Millions of Dollars. This is HOW Government can strip away the RIGHTS of it's Citizens, little at a time, and people stand and applaud. This is the whole reason "Global Warming" has become the largest SCAM in history.

This is also why so many, have bought into it, and are willing to lay down their lives, give away their Freedoms, and their Money. They are SAVING the PLANET. They will sacrifice themselves on the "Green Alter" for this worthy cause.

But here lies the problem. With any Scam, the truth is discovered. More and more people are waling up to realize that there is NO Man-Made Global Warming. Especially with headlines like THIS. UK Daily Mail - Earth facing a mini-Ice Age 'within ten years' due to rare drop in sunspot activity. As I told you about, one of the things causing those Storms in the Midwest, the Temperature is DROPPING. We are in a Cooling Cycle. So they change the name to "Climate Change." Then no matter what, they can blame Man. So how does this all relate to Energy? The GREEN Movement? Well, Oil, Coal, Natural Gas, ETC. These are BAD. Dirty. These are contributing to our destruction. Besides, there is not enough of them anyway. We will run out then what? No, no, no. We must go Green. We must find a way to use what we have. Sun, Wind, ETC.

Sounds GREAT does it not? Using the Sun and Wind to power our lives. Abundant and always available, FREE, Energy. Those Big Oil Companies will no longer be making Hundreds of Billions while I struggle to pay my Gas Bill. We will be saving the Planet from Dirty Oil. As a matter of fact, lets bankrupt the Coal Industry, add a Dollar Tax to EVERY Gallon of Gas, and this will FORCE people to go Green.

And then you have the TRUTH. The REALITY of the Situation. It's NOT available. There is NOTHING to switch to. It is NOT Sunny 24-7, everywhere. The Wind does not Blow at 35 MPH, 24-7, EVERYWHERE. Not many have an extra $40,000 to $50,000 dollars to throw away on a Car that is NOT tested long term, and has SEVERE limitations. Oh, did I mention that Green is NOT Free? Reuters had an EXCELLENT article a couple of days ago that illustrates this point. According to Reuters - Analysis: Gas is killing green energy in price war By Gerard Wynn LONDON Thu Jun 16, 2011 3:57pm EDT

(Reuters) - A widening shale gas revolution is killing the economics of renewable energy, even as falling costs allow wind and solar to overtake fossil fuels in niche areas, say energy executives and analysts.

Solar panel prices are down about 10 percent this year, but chasing a moving target as discovery of cheap shale gas spreads beyond the United States, experts told Reuters energy and climate summit.

Even big renewables investors, such as French energy company Total, see solar as a tiny part of the picture decades out, compared with gas. Total paid $1.4 billion for a majority stake in U.S.-based SunPower Corp.

"You have one energy that represents today more than 20 percent of the energy mix, and solar today is close to zero and will represent maybe 1 or 1.5 percent in 20 years from now," said Jean-Jacques Mosconi, Total head of strategy.
Read that again. "Solar today is close to zero and will represent maybe 1 or 1.5 percent in 20 years from now," 1 to 1.5 in 20 years. Maybe. But we will run out of Oil and Natural Gas. There just isn't really that much out there. REALLY?

The trouble is that a new "golden age of gas," as the International Energy Agency dubbed it, has created massive over-capacity in a key rival fuel for power generation.

"The economic viability of a lot of the renewables are getting killed because we have too much gas in the world right now," said Jeff Currie, global head of commodities research at Goldman Sachs.

"It's made a lot of these other projects like solar and wind struggle in terms of their economic viability, and coal too."
Oops. But Green Energy is cheaper? Right?

Building new gas plants was half the price of new nuclear, and much cheaper than wind and solar, said John Rowe, chairman of U.S. power company Exelon Corp. Shale gas has especially suppressed prices in the United States.

Energy ripples from a Japan quake, where some countries are now rolling back nuclear plans after the Fukushima crisis, would favor coal and gas as much as renewables, said International Energy Agency chief economist Fatih Birol.

"When Germany say they are going to use alternative energy sources, I just don't see it, if you try to switch now to solar power it will cost them 20 times more," said Peter Csoregh at Robeco's Natural Resource equities fund, expecting instead greater use in Germany of gas, coal and imported nuclear.
"Solar power it will cost them 20 times more." AND it's NOT Viable on a large scale, for EVERYONE. It just isn't. Remember I told you about FPL and the First Ever US Hybrid Solar Energy Center? 11 Thousand Homes, out of a Population of around 18,537,969 at a cost of about $340 Million dollars. So that's about $30,900 a home. Maybe a good start, but only 11,000 homes in one County, in one State.

FALLING SOLAR

Offshore wind may be in the same cost range as gas by 2015, said Joergen Kildahl, a board member at Germany's E.ON group, one of the world's biggest utilities.

But that did not include the cost of building back-up for the intermittent power source. "You need to buy the flexibility to balance your production. That's a big question mark," he said.
In other words, when cloudy and when the Sun is not producing. What then?

After steep price falls solar power is now close to being economic without subsidies -- called grid parity -- but only in niche areas including parts of California and Italy, sunny places with high power prices and fewer alternatives.

Falls in solar panel prices may flatten by 2013-2014, said Steven Chan, president of Suntech America, the North American unit of Chinese panel maker Suntech, who cited studies suggesting widespread grid parity with retail power prices by 2015.

Trina Solar, China's largest solar panel maker by value, was shipping modules at $1.50-1.55 now, down nearly 10 percent from a year ago, and expected prices at $1.40-$1.45 by year-end.

Industry module prices had fallen by about 10 percent in the first half this year and would fall a further 4-5 percent in the summer, said Frank Asbeck, chief executive of SolarWorld, Germany's second-largest solar company by value.

"(That) is when some Chinese players will run into difficulties," he added, referring to further price falls.
Because NO ONE is Buying it. This is why our Government HAS to prop them up with YOUR tax money. But of course, none of this matters to the Greenies. No. Oil and Natural Gas are EVIL.

Analysts and renewable energy supporters often point to hidden costs in the case of fossil fuels and nuclear.

Fossil fuels, for example, produce carbon emissions whose damaging impact on the world's climate is not priced outside Europe. Rare accidents and waste disposal may not be fully costed in the case of nuclear power. Question marks have been raised over the impact of shale gas on water quality.

"It's essential that we provide a policy framework that provides a level playing field," said Rajendra Pachauri, the head of a U.N. panel of climate scientists.
{Sigh} Which means what folks? Yeah. Say it with me. Government regulations, fines, control, and policies in place to MAKE you go Green. Even IF there is nowhere to go. Too costly to go NOWHERE, and it being pointless to even take the trip.
