We Have It, They Admit It, However, We Can't Use IT.

This is a GREAT Article.

Hey folks,

Happy Tuesday to ya. This is a GREAT Article. It really is. Just one problem, which it even admits. It's by News Chief - What U.S. energy crisis? Published: Monday, March 26, 2012 at 6:28 a.m.

Every election year, the politicians take malicious delight in panicking Americans with lurid predictions of an imminent energy crisis: We're running out of oil. We're running out of natural gas. The oil sheikhs will be dictating how we run the country.

The solution, of course, is always to elect the politicians making the charges. It's all nonsense.
OK remember this. To say we need to Elect a Politician to CHANGE Obama's Energy Policies is nonsense? We will look at this again in a few seconds.

A March 20 Wall Street Journal commentary by Citi's top commodities researcher, Ed Morse, contends that "in energy, North America is becoming the new Middle East."

That might have been an overstatement, but not by much.

The U.S. and Canada's proven reserves of oil and natural gas are increasing at rates that would have been considered fantasy only a few years ago.

The conservative calculations of the Energy Information Administration said oil reserves increased 8.6 percent from December 2008 to December 2009 and natural gas reserves rose 11.3 percent — and those were economically down years when exploration would presumably slow down.

Natural gas reserves reached their highest level since 1971.

Proven reserves are those that the EIA deems reasonably recoverable given existing technology and economic conditions.

Of course, the technology is constantly improving and high demand makes the recovery profitable.

And then there are new discoveries, like the Bakken Field underlying almost all of North Dakota and parts of South Dakota and Montana. It is estimated to hold 481 billion barrels of oil.

Indeed, because of our refining capacity, the United States became a net petroleum exporter last year for the first time since 1949.

In The Wall Street Journal, Morse writes, "The United States has become the fastest-growing oil and gas producer in the world, and it is likely to remain so for the rest of this decade and into the 2020s."
Now this is true. However, a bit misleading. This is IN SPITE of Obama's War on Energy. His outright hostility to anything Oil, Natural Gas, and Coal. IN SPITE of Obama standing in the way, we have been able to do this. Imagine what we could do if he would get OUT of the way.

Canada is enjoying a similar boom in production and explorations. And one can hope that the overregulation and underinvestment restricting production in Mexico and Venezuela won't last forever.
We would profit greatly from and WITH them if Obama would allow the Keystone Pipeline to be fully built. He is NOT. HE is standing in the way of this also.

In the United States, it would help if the federal government wouldn't get distracted by uneconomic and wasteful incentives for ethanol, electric cars, wind mills that chop up great numbers of birds for tiny contributions to the electricity grid and schemes for extracting fuel from random plants.
OBAMA!

The government's efforts should be directed to research, investment and regulation to insure that this energy, which our economy must have, is extracted cleanly and safely.

The "new Middle East" sounds pretty good energy-wise, but we'd just as soon skip the political turmoil. With the coming election, we have a surplus of our own.
OK, so? "The solution, of course, is always to elect the politicians making the charges. It's all nonsense?" THAT is nonsense. It is OBAMA that said the Coal Industry would go Bankrupt, and he was proud about that. It is Obama that said he likes $4.00 plus a gallon Gas. It is HIS Administration that said we need to find a way to INCREASE our Gas Prices to those of Europe. They have of course backed off that. It is OBAMA that put into place Moratoriums both actual and de facto, that have cost America hundreds of thousands of Jobs. It IS Obama standing in the way of the Keystone Pipeline. Oh, he attempted to take credit for that of which he could not stop if he wanted to, and what he has no say on, but he IS blocking the Majority of it for no other reason than Politics.

It IS OBAMA who keeps throwing hundreds of Billions of Dollars into Companies that do nothing but line the Pockets of their CEO's, fire Employees, produce NOTHING, and go out of business. No folks, it's NOT nonsense. It's FACT! We need someone in Office that understands REALITY, and is committed to doing what we need to do. Forget the Gas Prices, that we KNOW from History WILL go down. Forget the new Jobs it WILL create, that we know from History. We are talking nearly if not more than a TRILLION dollars in NEW REVENUE that it WILL generate. We have a President that just says no. While saying NO, continues to spend more money. Think about that.

Green Energy Investors Think Problem Is Communication?

It's not the Message, its the Market. THERE IS NONE.

Hey folks,

Yeah, according to a couple of Big Time Libs, the problem that the Green Dream has taking off is Communication. It's Messaging. It the fact that they are fragmented and not doing such a good job getting the Message out there that this is the way to go. I kid you not. But then again, these are two Libs that want to TAKE OVER the Green Dream, and make Billions of Dollars.

The two are Tom Steyer and Hemant Taneja. Tom Steyer is a Big Time Democratic Political Donor, who understands that, in reality, all the Green Dream is, is a money Laundering Scheme and a way to make Billions to line his Pocket.

Hemant Taneja is a Managing Director of General Catalyst Partners and a noted Clean-Tech Investor, who is already making Millions, and stands to make Billions more, if the two can pull this off.

They want to merge all the Green Industry Companies out there into ONE, giant United Front. A Chamber of Commerce for ALL Alternative Energy Companies out there, where THEY will decide the Message. They call their Company Advanced Energy Economy.

Hemant Taneja said this about their Organization.

"Fragmentation is exactly the problem we're trying to solve. There are issues that require the industry to come together in an organized fashion, and that just doesn't happen today."

"What we need is an open conversation. It's important to bring all the hidden costs to the surface."
In other words folks, they will lobby the Government to continue to fund this failing enterprise and continue to spend YOUR money on these Companies that should just pack up and go away. Of course, THEY will get rich while doing it.

They want ALL Companies to join them. Come UNDER them. Advanced Energy Economy will cast a wide net, including of course Wind, Solar, Battery, and even Nuclear Power Companies as well as Businesses that create Energy Efficient Buildings. All of which will pay DUES, to? Yup. You guessed it.

This will make these two guys Richer than they are. However, it will NOT create an Industry for ANY of the Companies that they will then represent. It's not the Message, its the Market. THERE IS NONE.

But hey, good luck to these two guys. If any of these "Green" Companies out there want to take a chance on them? Good luck to you as well. There is no Market out there. No amount of "Stimulus" nor Messaging, will change that.

White House Refuses to Comply With The Rule Of Law

This is completely ridiculous. Not shocking, but ridiculous.

Hey folks,

We all know what happened with Solyndra. Right before the Bankruptcy, Solyndra Executives received Bonuses. Was there any Laws broken? What did Obama know and when did he know it? Where did all that money go? We want ALL the FACTS. Problem is, like always, Obama and Crew care not for the Law. They refuse to cooperate with the Investigation.

According to Fox News - Solyndra Execs Reaped Bonuses Before Bankruptcy, Documents Show Published November 04, 2011

Solyndra executives were awarded quarterly bonuses worth up to $60,000 apiece earlier this year as the California solar-panel company headed for bankruptcy, court documents show.

Documents filed by the company in U.S. bankruptcy court in Delaware show the well-paid executives at the firm were given bonuses in April and in July, just months before the company filed for bankruptcy in September and laid off 1,100 workers.

The details add to the narrative of what was happening behind the scenes in the year leading up to the company's financial collapse, though congressional Republicans investigating the matter are looking for more details. After the Obama administration turned over 20,000 pages of documents earlier this week pertaining to Solyndra, House Republicans on Thursday night served the White House and vice president's office with a subpoena for more Solyndra documents.
Yeah, because what they gave them was junk. Throwaway stuff. Stuff that they didn't care if anyone knew. Then they were asked for more, specific and possibly incriminating stuff, the White House said "No thanks." So they had no choice:

"Unfortunately, we had to take this step after the White House has continued to slow walk the production of documents necessary for this investigation by only releasing selected documents and records," said Rep. Cliff Stearns, R-Fla., chairman of the House Energy and Commerce subcommittee investigating Solyndra.
Like I said, throwaway stuff. Nothing to answer the questions being asked. But get this arrogance.

The White House denies slow-walking anything, noting that it just submitted thousands of Solyndra documents earlier this week. "We'd like to see as much passion in House Republicans for creating jobs as we see in this investigation," White House spokesman Eric Schultz said Thursday.
You see folks, it really is this simple. They do not care about the Rule of Law. They do not care about answering to ANYONE. They feel they are far superior to ANY and EVERYONE! They do not have to answer for their actions. Just who in the Hell do the Republicans in the House think they are? They do not answer to them, Courts, or the American People. It's time everyone knows their roles and just sit down and shut up and let Obama do whatever he wants. Get it. Now Pass his Tax,,,uh,, Jobs Bill! Here is the Letter that the White House sent to the House in response to the Subpoena. Basically says the same thing. Hey, we gave you stuff. What you are asking for is too broad. We do not want to give you EVERYTHING we have. Just what we want to give you. So NO."

Here is Committee chairman Rep. Fred Upton, R-Mich, who responded to Obama and Crews Letter He said this.

“We have been reasonable every step of the way in this investigation, and it is a shame that the Obama Administration and House Democrats continue to put up partisan roadblocks to hide the truth from taxpayers. Solyndra was a jobs program gone bad, and we must learn the lessons of Solyndra as we work to turn our economy around and put folks back to work. Our judicious and methodical work over the last eight months has garnered tens of thousands of pages of documents from DOE and OMB that have proven we are on the right track.

Now, we need to know the White House’s role in the Solyndra debacle in order to learn the full truth about why taxpayers now find themselves a half billion dollars in the hole. The White House could have avoided the need for subpoena authorizations if they had simply chosen to cooperate. That would have been the route we preferred, and frankly, it would have been better for the White House to get the information out now, rather than continue to drag this out.

Our request for documents is reasonable - we are not demanding the President’s blackberry messages as we are respectful of Executive Privilege. What is the West Wing trying to hide? We owe it to American taxpayers to find out.”
Exactly. What are they trying to hind. How about Solyndra was never a REAL Company? All they were, was a money laundering Scheme. A prop. A show. A way to return a lot of the money right back into the Democrat Party. That's why they do not want to turn over the requested Information. They were in on it. They were fully aware that they would fail. Yet, they still throw a HALF BILLION Dollars away on them. As we have discussed, there are many more Solyndras out there. I have some advice for you Representative Upton, as for them cooperating? Don't hold your breath.

Another Green Energy Company Bites The Dust?

And another one gone, and another one gone, another one bites the dust.

Hey folks,

Happy Friday to ya. Yeah, I had this on Wednesday morning, however, I just did the Tuesday "From the Energy Front" Segment, and I wanted to get the Iran Stuff out there, but I did see this. This just goes to show, it's not that I'm always right, it's that I understand REALITY. As soon as I saw this, I thought of THIS. {Smile}

I just told you about Beacon Power. $67 million dollars of Obama directed Tax Money. YOUR Money. Of course we all know about Solyndra. That was a half Billion. Now, according to CBS News Investigates - Another Solyndra? Electric car battery maker facing financial hardship By Laura Strickler Topics Follow The Money ,News.

A company whose subsidiary received $118 million in stimulus grant money from the U.S. Department of Energy to build new electric car batteries has now been removed from trading on NASDAQ.

EnerDel got an Energy Department grant in early 2010 for battery manufacturing in Indiana but the stock of EnerDel's parent company, Ener1, fell from $4.04 in 2010 to just 9 cents on Thursday. By Friday NASDAQ had pulled the company from its listing leaving the stock at $0.00.
From $4.00 to 9 Cents? {Laughing} That's a bit of a drop. I know it's not funny. It's another $118 Million Dollars thrown away.

NASDAQ took action after sending the company a notice saying it was out of compliance for failing to file its June 30th financial quarterly filing. The company notified shareholders back in August that two of the company's quarterly filings "should no longer be relied upon" and the company would have to re-do their financial statements.

"Once we get our financials restated, we'll look at what our options are for getting re-listed," Ener1 spokesperson Brian Sinderson told CBS News. Sinderson says the company is now traded on the over the counter market.
Folks, this is just a stall tact. They are attempting to start damage control. Or, like Solyndra, they will just take the money and run. So MORE Jobs LOST. Not gained. LOST. More money wasted. THERE IS NO MARKET! There is no place for these "Green Industry" Companies to thrive. There is NOTHING out there. All the money in the world is not going to create a Market. Only PEOPLE and Desire for a Product can do that. This piece goes on to tell you that another company went Bankrupt, and none of these Companies are living up to their Promises of creating Hundreds or Thousands of Jobs. But they sure are taking the money.

No this is no surprise folks. The more money that we waste, on these FAILED endeavors, well, the more money we waste. Money we do not have right now. All this, this "Green Energy" thing, SHOULD be being played out in the Private Sector. Let those that have money, that believe in the Dream, Invest in this. If they succeed, GREAT! They become Rich, and we all live Greener. If they Fail? All well. Nice try. So sad for you. But it does not effect EVERY AMERICAN. Only those that take the chance. If this was in the Private Sector, it would be gone by now. No one is going to consciously throw money at Failed Ideas and unrealized Dreams. Well, not their OWN money. No. They will leave the Wasting of YOUR money to Obama.

Another Obama Funded Energy Company Going Bye Bye

Subsidies CAN NOT SAVE COMPANIES! Only the Free Market can.

Hey folks,

Last week we talked about the fact that some of those on the Left feel that we do not have a Market for "Green Energy" because the Government is not spending enough. Remember that? This guy, Carl Pope, Chairman, of the Sierra Club, laid out his plan to increase the "Green" Market. He said there are three steps. Creation, Manufacturing, and Selling. His main concern was the Manufacturing. He wishes we were more like China. I kid you not. He went into great lengths to explain how we are just not spending enough money. That we need to give these "Green Companies" MORE money and then there will be a Market for it.

Obviously this is an Ignorant point of view. If there is no Market, then it does not matter how much of a Product you have. If I'm trying to sell, well, ANYTHING, that no one wants, it doesn't matter if I increase my Manufacturing. I am making 1000 an hour, the Government comes along and gives me Millions to create 2000 an hour, if there is no Market, no one buying it, I will be making 2000 an Hour of things that will go and sit in a Warehouse. Eventually, the money will run out, and I will have to shut down.

Now we have talked about Wind, and Solar, along with other forms of "Green Energy." We have talked about the Cost, the fact they are NOT anywhere near a Mass Marketability. That they have not yet perfected ANYTHING. What to do when the Wind doesn't Blow, or the Sun doesn't shine. ETC. Well, one of the possible answers to this is said to be Flywheel Energy Storage Systems. The kind that Beacon Power of Tyngsboro, Mass., make. Beacon Power of Tyngsboro, Mass.,received a $24 Million Federal Stimulus Grant and a $43 Million Federal Loan Guarantee. So $67 MILLION of Tax Payers Money. You guessed it. They just filed for Bankruptcy. According to CNS News - Energy Firm That Got Federal Funds Declares Bankruptcy By RANDALL CHASE, Associated Press October 31, 2011

Beacon said its long-term financial prospects are strong, but that efforts to build its business have been capital intensive, and that those costs have contributed to operating losses.

The company also cited the current economic and political climate, the financing terms mandated by the Department of Energy, and its recent delisting notice from NASDAQ.
Once again folks, lets try it this way. I create a new Seat for Bikes. It is the most comfortable Seat out there. Everyone that has a Bike, wants my new Seat. GREAT. I succeed. I improve the Market. Everyone is happy. Now, lets say I come up with a new Saddle for Unicorns. I spend BILLIONS on it. It is much more comfortable than riding Bareback, or with Conventional Saddles. Have to make room for the Wings and such. I create Millions of these Saddles. I go Bankrupt. Why? THERE ARE NO UNICORNS. They do not exist. There is no Market to supply the Demand for. I can not create a Demand, just be creating a Supply. It is IMPOSSIBLE. All the money in the world, will not get my product to sell, if there is no Market for it. Subsidies CAN NOT SAVE COMPANIES! Only the Free Market can. If there IS a Demand, then there is a NEED for Supply.

This Administration is Hell bent on continuing to spend money on things that fail over and over again. We, the People need to stop this nonsense. We are the only ones that can, and we CAN, in 2012 at the Ballot Box. We do not have any money. We do not have Jobs, we are losing Homes, we are going more and more in debt DAILY. This Administration has spend MORE than this ENTIRE COUNTY has spent since 1776, in just the last THREE YEARS. Take a look around folks. We are FAR WORSE OFF THEN EVER! It is not working.

Once again, we have the answer. Once again, we have Historic FACT. We KNOW it works. Loose the Oil and Natural Gas Industry, let them do what they do, we WILL Create Jobs, Increase Revenue, INCREASE our National Security, and MAKE ENERGY AFFORDABLE TO ALL. It really IS just this simple. Stop throwing money away on failed ideas, and start investing in what WORKS. Oh, did I mention that it will cost the American Tax Payers, uh, NOTHING?
