Republicans NOT Starting to Listen.

Hey folks,

I know, I know. I'm just as disgusted as you are. I'm down right Pissed Off if you what to know the REAL Truth. After DAYS of the Republicans showing signs that they are FINALLY starting to listen to THE PEOPLE, they pull THIS? As I sit here today, I'm disheartened, depressed, and EXTREMELY disappointed.

Just yesterday I praised some of the GOP Leaders and I said this.

"So is the GOP finally LISTENING? Some of the signs seem to be saying Yes. Keep it up. Stand tough. America itself is on the line here. WE, The People, got your back."

I praised Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell for saying this.

"In my view the president has presented us with three choices," said Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., referring to efforts to raise the $14.3 trillion debt ceiling. "Smoke and mirrors, tax hikes, or default."

"Republicans choose none of the above," McConnell said. "I had hoped to do good; but I refuse to do harm."

And of course THIS. THIS is a hundred percent true.

"After years of discussions and months of negotiations, I have little question that as long as this president is in the Oval Office, a real solution is probably unattainable."

House Speaker John Boehner said he wants Obama to put a PLAN together, since he has nothing, in writing, so that the House and the American People can actually SEE what Obama wants to do, and so that Obama can't change his mind tomorrow. In other words LIE. The Republicans were all over the place talking about how we will NOT raise the Debt Ceiling, nor will we raise Taxes. This is the President's Problem. It IS. HE and his Crew, are what got us where we are today. If we do NOT raise the Debt Ceiling, it will be Obama who decides who gets paid and who doesn't. We have the money to pay the Debt. We will NOT go into default unless Obama CHOOSES to. There is no pending Doom.

They have energized the Base. They have Fired Up the Conservatives. The American People were FINALLY starting to see the possibility of REAL Hope and Change that they could REALLY believe in. So what do they do? {Sigh} They create a back door way for Obama to get whatever he wants.

Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky offered a backup plan that would, in effect, guarantee Obama requests for new government borrowing authority unless Congress musters veto-proof majorities to deny him. McConnell said he was forced to introduce the plan because he didn't see a path to an agreement so long as Democrats insist on revenue increases.

McConnell said Wednesday that his proposal was a "last resort if the president continues to shirk his duties to do something about our dire fiscal situation."

"Make the president show in black and white the specific cuts he claims to support. If he refuses he'll have to raise the debt ceiling on his own," McConnell said on the Senate floor. "But he's not going to get Republicans to go along with that."

Senator? Mitchy, Mitchy, Mitchy. By YOU offering "a backup plan that would, in effect, guarantee Obama requests for new government borrowing authority unless Congress musters veto-proof majorities to deny him." YOU ARE going along with it. You IDIOT! The "Backup Plan" IS going to be the agreement that WILL allow Obama to borrow whatever he wants WITHOUT him giving up ANYTHING. You can not wash your hands of this one Mitch. By offering this Proposal, you are giving Obama PERMISSION to do whatever he wants. We have him in Check Mate. He will have to CAVE and WE win. But you just removed your piece and said to Obama, "Here, get out of the corner."

Well, OK. He is a long time Senator. The Senate is still in control by the Democrats. But hey, at least we still have the House to stand in the way of this completely ABSURD plan. Right?

"I think everybody agrees there needs to be a backup plan if we can't come to an agreement," Boehner said in a Fox News Channel interview Tuesday afternoon. "And frankly, I think Mitch has done good work."

NO WE DO NOT! We do not need a Backup Plan. STOP spending IS the Backup Plan. It is the Forward Plan. It is the ONLY Plan. We do not need back doors, top floor windows, fire escapes, smoke filled rooms, or anything else. What we NEED is REAL Conservatives STOPPING Obama and Crew from destroying this Country. What we NEED is People like YOU, to hang tough and DO the Right thing. We do NOT want you to work WITH the Liberal Loons to destroy this Country. We do NOT want you to wash your hands and think you are guilt free. What we WANT is YOU to stop this HERE. And stop this NOW. Not in 2012. Not after we go another 2.7 TRILLION in debt. NOW!

As far as I'm concerned, Mitch? Your toast. Unless you completely withdraw this nonsense, I will call for the Tea Party, or ANY True Conservative group, to find someone to run against you. Maybe you have been there a bit to long. We do NOT want Politics as usual. Because this is NO LONGER Politics as usual. This is a Battle for AMERICA itself. You want to be with the Liberals, then JOIN THEM. We do not want you.

Speaker? John? Buddy? I love ya. But if you back this plan, you are a one term Speaker. You will loose the House. Pelosi, if the Lib Loons are as Stupid as I think they are, will be the NEW Speaker. We the People are NOT playing. If you allow Obama to walk away from this with everything he wants, YOU are a bigger disappointment to me than Charlie Crist was here in Florida. JUST DON'T DO IT!

Look, EVERYONE knows that we will NOT default unless OBAMA chooses to default. He will HAVE to cut Spending. Where he does, WILL tell the American People what he is all about. It IS his problem. We need people like you to STOP him. Not give him a back door to do whatever he wants. LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE. The majority in this Country do NOT want the Debt Ceiling raised. We do not want MORE out of control spending. We WANT YOU to STOP Obama.

Instead of having Hearings on a News Paper Scandal in the UK, how about Hearings on the Constitutionality of, well, just about ANYTHING Obama has done in the past Two and a half years? How about repealing or defunding Obamacare? How about DEFUNDING A LOT of Obama's pet projects that CAN and WILL save America A LOT of money? Stop playing games, and lets get to work on FIXING the Problems. The PROBLEMS are Obama and Crew. Do the RIGHT thing, we will have your back. Allow these type of games to be played, you are on your own until we get a Voice again at the Ballot Box. And it IS just that simple.

Yes. If he BELIEVED it, said it before, he would have won the Logic Award. But he doesn't believe it, said the complete opposite, and so he wins the IWA. Time to wrap things up with the LAST IWA for 2010.

They are all saying it. It was a great Victory for Obama. All the LWL {Left Wing Looneys}, the State Run MMD {Mass Media Drones}, they're all saying it. The extension of the "Bush era Tax RATES, is a huge victory for Obama."

What happened since Obama was telling us that one of his top priorities is to let the "Bush era Tax CUTS on the Rich expire." What happened since Obama said that we HAVE to "Spread the Wealth around." For YEARS the LWL have told us that the way to increase revenue is to raise Taxes. Nearly ALL of the Taxes we pay were enacted by Liberals. I'm not kidding. Look it up. I'm saying in the HISTORY of this Country in total. But NOW? NOW? Now they want to take credit for it? For NOT Raising Taxes? They want to be thought of of Brilliant? Well, the Leadership and Obama want to take credit for it, even though their Liberal Base is not happy. On Friday, Forbes Online declared the Bill

“the single most damaging measure for the U.S. federal budget deficit that Congress has produced in years.”

But that didn't stop the House, after the "Show" from passing this 277-148. The Loons are feeling jilted by the Liberal Leaders and Obama.

I was getting into my Vehicle on Friday and I heard the Assistant Majority Leader, Senator from Illinois, Dick Durbin, on the Rush Limbaugh Radio Show say this.

"The nature of a compromise is to give up some things so that the other side will do the same, and that's what happened. The president has a big victory here. It's big because it means there won't be a tax increase at the first of the year, which could have hurt our economy. Unemployment benefits are going out to help millions of people across this country, and we're giving businesses some breaks to help that they will be able to stabilize and build their own employee workforce in the process."

There are so many things wrong with this statement that it's hard to figure where to start.

"The president has a big victory here." No he doesn't. He RAN on the fact he was going to let the "Bush Tax Cuts Expire on the Rich." He said all the way up to the Compromise between VP Biden and Republican Senator Mitch McConnell, that he was not going to accept a "Tax Cut for Billionaires." Now this is a Big Victory?

"It's big because it means there won't be a tax increase at the first of the year, which could have hurt our economy." This goes AGAINST EVERYTHING that the Left have been telling us for YEARS. Tax cuts bring in and increase Revenue. Tax Cuts HURT the Economy. Hell, they blame the Bush Tax Cuts as the main reason we are in this mess today, yet NOW "It's big because it means there won't be a tax increase at the first of the year, which could have hurt our economy." That is TRUE, but our Idiot doesn't MEAN it. He never said it before. As a matter of fact, he has said the opposite.

"Unemployment benefits are going out to help millions of people across this country." That's true. It will help them stay Unemployed for up to something like Three Years now. THAT adds to the Deficit and Debt. Extension of the Tax Rates would have cost NOTHING Stand Alone.

"we're giving businesses some breaks to help that they will be able to stabilize and build their own employee workforce in the process." Yeah they can now write off new technologies. New Machines. Some in Business have been waiting for this. Now they can buy NEW Machines and write off the cost, INSTEAD of hiring new Employees that they still have no idea what the long term costs will be with Obamacare, ETC. It will help Business, but I doubt it will help the Unemployment Lines.

Congratulation Dick Durbin, for coming out and making such an asinine statement that we all know runs completely opposite from what you have said in the pass, and attempting to share credit with Obama for the Bush Tax Cuts, you ARE the Idiot of the Week. Now, why do you not come out and tell us what else you would like to take credit for. Perhaps the success of the Tea Party Movement,,Wait! Actually, with that one, you probably could. {Smile}

It's The Economy Stupid. Stupid. STUPID!

Hey folks,

It's the Economy Stupid. That is what the majority of the Voters said to the Democrats this past Election. Yet, the Democrats have reformatted for when they go into the Minority, to reflect the exact same as they are now. With Pelosi at the Helm.

Meanwhile, more and more debt, the Democrats, and of course Obama, spend MORE AND MORE. There are countless projects, pet and otherwise, and more pay backs and pay offs. There are more and more slush funds, and the buying of Votes for the Future. Yet, we are going more and more in Debt, they spend more and more, with no signs of slowing.

The Kentucky Republican said the weekly GOP address that Democrats are using the final days of the lame-duck session to focus on a number of controversial issues at the expense of extending the Bush tax cuts for all Americans, according to The Hill.

Which is true. Time is ticking.

Those issues include immigration, environmental regulations and a reorganization of the Food and Drug Administration. But Democrats are in disarray over the prospect of preserving the tax cuts, which many economists credit with saving Americans from a much worse recession.

The tax cuts expire at the end of the year; Democrats have vowed not to extend them for the highest income tax bracket.

This is because this is their INSANE BASE. This small, yet very loud INSANE Base. Those that think it's good to stick it to the Rich. Meanwhile in the real world, I have never gotten a job from a Poor Person. I have never gone into and bought something I need from a Poor Person sitting on their, uh, rears, collecting a Government Check.

Our Winner of the Display of Logic award, GETS IT. He GETS that the Liberal Loons don't.

“Democrats put off all these things until after the election, along with the most basic task of funding the government. By focusing on them now, and not on legislation to promote job creation and reduce spending, they’re showing where their priorities lie," McConnell said.

Hey folks,

OK. We all expect Kagan to be appointed the next Supreme Court Justice to replace out going Justice John Paul Stevens, the Retiring 90-year-old Liberal. First, The democrats have the Majority. Barring the Republicans growing a set and blocking the Vote, the Dems have it.

Yet, since the Republicans want to concentrate on other things, and she, as Liberal and as activist as she is, she will be replacing what some call a Liberal Lion. So the landscape, the balance of the Court will not change, and no matter WHO Obama would choose to replace HER, would be a Liberal Loon as well. He is. So in some of the Republicans minds, why bother? Right?

But the U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell made the following statement Friday.

“In her testimony this week, Ms. Kagan acknowledged that it is ‘difficult to take off the advocate’s hat and put on the judge’s hat.’ That difficulty is particularly acute for someone like Ms. Kagan, who has spent so much of her adult life practicing the art of political advocacy rather than practicing law.

“Unfortunately, Ms. Kagan failed to explain how she could overcome that difficulty, falling well short, in fact, of meeting her own standard for providing the Senate helpful testimony. She was far from forthcoming in discussing her own views on basic principles of American constitutional law. For example, she refused to repudiate her alarming position in the Supreme Court that the federal government can ban core political speech if it dislikes the speaker, including speech with a long and venerable history in our country, like political pamphlets.

“I do not have confidence that if she were confirmed to a lifetime position on the Supreme Court she would suddenly constrain the ardent political advocacy that has marked much of her adult life. The American people expect a justice who will impartially apply the law, not one who will be a rubberstamp for the Obama administration or any other administration. For these reasons, I will oppose Ms. Kagan’s confirmation.”

At least he is telling us that he recognizes the TRUTH about this twit. At least he will stand up and take a stand. I hope all the Republicans follow suit. She is a BAD choice to give a lifetime of power to in the courts. She doesn't care about the Declaration of Independence, Freedom, nor Liberty. Well, unless that means sticking it to White people. Then she is all for it. But she is NOT going to be an impartial Judge. She doesn't like the Constitution any more than Obama does. She would LOVE to be able to change it. Or do away with it all together. So would he.

So Congratulation Senator Mitch McConnell, for being intelligent enough to recognize and for being bold enough to come out and tell us, the truth, you are the winner of the Display of Logic Award this week. Happy Independence Day to you Sir. May we have another come November 2, 2010.
