In York, Pa., he speaks of his father living at the local YMCA. In front of Toledo autoworkers, he calls himself the “son of an automobile man.” In Media, Pa., he is the “grandson of Ambrose Finnegan,” a Scranton ad man turned gas company worker. But he is also the great-grandson, on his mother’s side, of Edward F. Blewitt, a member of the Pennsylvania state Senate. On his paternal side, he is connected to Maryland through a great-great grandfather who sold produce and a grandfather whose transition from Baltimore kerosene salesman to Wilmington oil executive earned the family a temporary taste of wealth. His family was rich in Boston, comfortable in Long Island and broke in Scranton. One relative died in World War II, and another, “Old Man Sheen,” ran shipyards in Virginia.

Vice President Biden, the Obama administration’s traveling everyman, seems to have roots all over. He learned about some of his ancestral connections from stories told at the family dining table, but many details came to him from an unlikely source — a genealogist who burrowed into the cabinets of microfiche and stacks of bound registries at the Mormon church’s vast Family History Library in Salt Lake City.

“He called me out of the blue to see if I could do his genealogy,” said James W. Petty, a former senior researcher at the library. On a recent afternoon, Petty, wearing a tweed coat and a “certified genealogist” lapel pin, leaned back from the documents spread across a desk overlooking Temple Square. He recalled an initial 2004 conversation with the then-senator inquiring how his ancestors came to the coal mines of Pennsylvania’s Lackawanna County and put food on the table.

“I said, part joking, part serious, ‘It’s good for a politician because you can build on this culture, and this culture, and this culture. You can become a favorite son in three or more cultures.’ And he said, ‘I want to approach more people.’ He understood that all of this would affect how he connected with people.”

“He has a great interest in it,” Valerie Biden Owens said of her brother. “Your family gives you, hopefully, roots and wings.”

On Thursday, Biden put all his connections to full use in his debut role as the Obama reelection campaign’s relater in chief. He traveled to Toledo, where he called out Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich by name as being “dead wrong” in their opposition to the autobailout.

“If you give any one of these guys the keys to the White House,” Biden said. “They will bankrupt the middle class again.”

It is a role that the gregarious, relationship-cultivating old pol seems to have been born to play, and one that has already helped his less-experienced and more distant boss negotiate the political ways and means of the capital. A four-decade creature of Washington, Biden works lawmakers, schmoozes donors, levels with conservatives and assures liberal groups. He has emerged as a top administration emissary to troublesome nations and a not-so-private inner-circle dissenter on issues such as health care, Afghanistan and a policy requiring employers to fund contraceptive coverage. Less willingly, he has brought comic relief at times as the nation’s goofy uncle and has provided a soap opera subplot to the no-drama Obama ethos, thanks to the Washington job-swap meshugas in which he and Hillary Clinton switch places.

Time to wrap things up with the Idiot of the Week. The only problem is, from the time I picked our Idiot, Idiots EVERYWHERE came out of the Wood Work. Some Right Wingnuts, some LWL. A couple of News Anchors, to a couple of Criminals. Seriously. Some weeks I actually have to look pretty hard to find one worthy of getting the Award. But it seems as if it keeps getting easier and easier.

This is actually a great way for me to answer a GREAT Friday "From the Emails" question.

"Pete, I am seriously getting concerned. Do you think that the majority of Americans realize that the day of idiocies is upon us? If so, do you think they will come out for the vote?"

{Laughing} The Days of Idiocies? I like that. Truth is, I have no idea CL. I would like to think so. As a matter of fact, that leads me into another Question that my Conservative Neighbor asked me.

"Hey Pete. I am really getting sick of the Republicans not calling these Idiots out for all this stupid stuff. When will they not grow a set and tell the people what the difference is between them and Reality?"

Basically they are both asking the same thing. My answer to my Conservative Neighbor, is my HOPE that, I'm, and they, are RIGHT about this. I told my Neighbor that I really think that they are not countering the Insanity, because they KNOW that the Majority of the American People are not stupid enough to believe ANY of it. NONE. So why bother wasting time countering it. It's like this. I say, there is a big Jelly Monster from the Planet Peanut Butter, coming here to eat everyone up. This is payback for all the PBJ Sandwiches that have been eating here over the years.

Now I say this in a room of like Fifty People. You are in the room also. Are you really going to waste your time standing up to counter me? Are you REALLY going to stand up and say There is NOT big Jelly Monster from the Planet Peanut Butter, coming here to eat everyone up. There is no Planet Peanut Butter. Nothing is coming here to eat us. No you wouldn't. Why would ANYONE believe this complete nonsense? So perhaps the Republican do not respond all that much when VP Biden says if we do not pass the "jobs Bill" there will be an Increase in Rapes and Murder. Why should they? Even 10 Democrats couldn't swallow that one. They KILLED it.

This is why the Republicans say nothing when Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid says THIS...

"It's very clear that private-sector jobs have been doing just fine; it's the public-sector jobs where we've lost huge numbers, and that's what this legislation is all about," Reid said on the Senate floor.

Yes my friends, there is no problem out there. Why are you not working? What's wrong with you? "It's very clear that private-sector jobs have been doing just fine." Nobody believes this. NOBODY! It is not even CLOSE to being even somewhat accurate. The facts are the facts. They are there for everyone to see.

So our Idiot of the Week? This one was too difficult to chose from. So we have TWO! VP Biden, and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. So do people know that the Days of Idiocies are upon us? I sure as Hell HOPE so. But hey, Moammar Gadhafi is dead, the Troops are coming home from Iraq, so all is well. Right?

Congratulations to our Winners. Keep up the good work. The people need to know just who the Kooks who are running this Country right now really are.

Up until just recently, it was a forgone conclusion that no matter who the GOP put up, The Media will have little problem destroying, and Obama will simply Wallace in for another 4 years.

Lets face it. Obama is still Black. He is still Brilliant {According to the Media and the Lib Left, still no proof of this whatsoever.} Republicans are still Racists, Bigoted, Chauvinistic, Homophobes that want nothing more that to Protect the Rich Fat Cats, and Screw the little People. If they are Conservatives, then add in there Stupid as well. There is NO WAY that anyone on the Right could beat Obama.

However, that WAS until people starting waking up. That was until people actually put aside the completely Bogus Stereotypes, created by the the Left and the Media, and actually starting to LISTEN to the Candidates. To the Conservative Message. They started to like what they heard.

Look, the truth is, Liberal Ideals are NICE. They are GOOD Ideas. EVERYONE can agree that the world could indeed be a better place if we lived by some of them. Consider a World without War. Who doesn't want that. Consider the Lion laying down with the Lamb. Consider a World where money meant NOTHING. Who wouldn't be happy with that? Consider a World where we could wake up and go about our day without leaving any kind of "foot print" or mark, on the Planet. Where we could fly around in Solar Powered Hover Cars, drink clean water straight from Mountains, Sleep at night being cooled by a cool Breeze created solely by the Wind itself. Love not War. Green everywhere? Who could be against any of that?

The problem is, THAT is not reality. It is not now, never has been, it CAN NOT BE. Reality is that War is real. The Lion EATS the Lamb. Oil makes the World turn. Unfortunately, because of US, Money is a necessity. If you like it or not.

Reality is not fair. It is not always Just. The American Dream is so great, for the sole reason that ANYONE can achieve it. ANYONE. You can strive for Greatness in this Country, and you can achieve it. Look at Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Herman Cain. All came from NOTHING, and are now the Millionaires and Billionaires that Obama talks about. But then again, so is HE.

However, Reality is also cruel for some. If you do not eat, you die. Simple enough to understand. If you CHOSE to be content doing what you are doing, and strive for nothing more, then you get what you get. If you CHOSE to stay home and be dependant on the System, then you will be one of those that feel jealousy and hatred towards those that DID make something of themselves. But you have no one to blame be yourself. Seriously. Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Herman Cain, Vince McMahon, and Opera Winfrey making their Millions and Billions, have NO effect on me. If Rush Limbaugh lost his Millions, it would have no effect on me. I would not make a DIME more if Bill Gates lost his. However, in Reality, I could go to work for Rush. I could go to work for IBM, Gateway, or APPLE. I could work for the WWE or become a Camera Guy for Opera. I could make a good Salary. But I could never go to work for someone sitting on their couch WATCHING Opera, collecting a Government Check.

The American Dream is great because instead of Working for Rush, I could go out and get my own Radio Show. If I'm good enough, I could BE Rush. I could sit in my garage, and come up with the next big thing, and become Bill Gates. I could envision a NEW TV Show, and BECOME Vince McMahon, or Opera. Since the founding of this Country, the American Spirit, the American Dream, has MADE this Country what it is today. Well, what it WAS until around 2005. What Bush started at the encouragement of Obama and other Liberals, Obama walked right in and took over.

It is, without doubt. ANY Doubt whatsoever, Liberal Ideals and Agendas that have gotten us into this mess. It is because Liberal Ideas are OPPOSED to what America Stands for. Freedom. The American Dream has been replaced by a Liberal One. An unattainable Utopia of Fairness and Equality for all. Where nothing costs anything, and everyone is equal no matter the amount of work or decisions made by themselves.

Well, we have a President that has brought to pass, a lot of the Liberal Dreams. The American people are learning that they are FALSE. Failed Policies and the Reality is, they simply make things WORSE for all. Now they are hearing the Truth, about what made this Country Great. Conservatism. Freedom. And yes, FAITH. They are waking up. They are starting to listen.

So do not believe that Obama is a shoo-in. Do not believe the early MMD Polls showing that he is still in the Lead. Do not believe that there is no one that can beat him. They DON'T! When asked if he though Obama could loose in 2012, that the Mood in the Country, and the Tea Party, was strong enough to beat Obama, our Winner of the Display of Logic Award said this.

“Oh, absolutely! Absolutely! It's strong enough to beat both of us. Look, no matter what the circumstance, at the end of the day, the American people right now are in real trouble. An even larger percentage have stagnant wages. And a significant majority of the American people believe that the country is not moving in the right direction. That is never a good place to be going into re-election, whether it’s your fault or not your fault. It’s almost sometimes irrelevant.”

WOW! I will give credit where credit is due. From an unlikely source, the TRUTH flows. It is because of Obama that we are in this mess. It is because of Liberal Ideas and Agendas, that "the American people right now are in real trouble. An even larger percentage have stagnant wages. And a significant majority of the American people believe that the country is not moving in the right direction." VP Biden knows it. Obama knows it. The Media knows it. The PEOPLE know it.

Congratulations VP Biden. I do not agree with 99 percent of the things that come out of your mouth, but Like Bush, I love hearing you say them from time to time. But this? THIS I agree with you one hundred percent. You ARE the Winner of the Display of Logic Award, for today, Sunday, October 09th, 2011.

If he had an R after his name, or claimed Christianity, or was anyone that was remotely popular with those on the Right in ANYWAY, he would have NEVER got elected. However, if he HAD, he would have been thrown out LONG ago. Lets look at some of his little Pearls of Wisdom over time.

This President and this Administration spend more in a MONTH than the Deficit in 2007. I think it was 2007, it may have been 2008. Non-the-less, this past Congress, with the Leadership in Democrat Control, complete with Obama and Crew steering the Ship has spent more than any other in the History of this country, COMBINED! This is NOT what they inherited. This is what they CREATED.

Then to compare the Adults that want to cut spending, to Rape? The Liberals are the Victim? That's why they lost in a landslide last Elections. The People understand who's to blame here. Liberals and their Policies.

Congratulations VP Joe Biden, you ARE the Idiot of the Week. But he IS very Entertaining. And if you think about it, he may have even been trying to warn us with this one.

Yes. If he BELIEVED it, said it before, he would have won the Logic Award. But he doesn't believe it, said the complete opposite, and so he wins the IWA. Time to wrap things up with the LAST IWA for 2010.

They are all saying it. It was a great Victory for Obama. All the LWL {Left Wing Looneys}, the State Run MMD {Mass Media Drones}, they're all saying it. The extension of the "Bush era Tax RATES, is a huge victory for Obama."

What happened since Obama was telling us that one of his top priorities is to let the "Bush era Tax CUTS on the Rich expire." What happened since Obama said that we HAVE to "Spread the Wealth around." For YEARS the LWL have told us that the way to increase revenue is to raise Taxes. Nearly ALL of the Taxes we pay were enacted by Liberals. I'm not kidding. Look it up. I'm saying in the HISTORY of this Country in total. But NOW? NOW? Now they want to take credit for it? For NOT Raising Taxes? They want to be thought of of Brilliant? Well, the Leadership and Obama want to take credit for it, even though their Liberal Base is not happy. On Friday, Forbes Online declared the Bill

“the single most damaging measure for the U.S. federal budget deficit that Congress has produced in years.”

But that didn't stop the House, after the "Show" from passing this 277-148. The Loons are feeling jilted by the Liberal Leaders and Obama.

I was getting into my Vehicle on Friday and I heard the Assistant Majority Leader, Senator from Illinois, Dick Durbin, on the Rush Limbaugh Radio Show say this.

"The nature of a compromise is to give up some things so that the other side will do the same, and that's what happened. The president has a big victory here. It's big because it means there won't be a tax increase at the first of the year, which could have hurt our economy. Unemployment benefits are going out to help millions of people across this country, and we're giving businesses some breaks to help that they will be able to stabilize and build their own employee workforce in the process."

There are so many things wrong with this statement that it's hard to figure where to start.

"The president has a big victory here." No he doesn't. He RAN on the fact he was going to let the "Bush Tax Cuts Expire on the Rich." He said all the way up to the Compromise between VP Biden and Republican Senator Mitch McConnell, that he was not going to accept a "Tax Cut for Billionaires." Now this is a Big Victory?

"It's big because it means there won't be a tax increase at the first of the year, which could have hurt our economy." This goes AGAINST EVERYTHING that the Left have been telling us for YEARS. Tax cuts bring in and increase Revenue. Tax Cuts HURT the Economy. Hell, they blame the Bush Tax Cuts as the main reason we are in this mess today, yet NOW "It's big because it means there won't be a tax increase at the first of the year, which could have hurt our economy." That is TRUE, but our Idiot doesn't MEAN it. He never said it before. As a matter of fact, he has said the opposite.

"Unemployment benefits are going out to help millions of people across this country." That's true. It will help them stay Unemployed for up to something like Three Years now. THAT adds to the Deficit and Debt. Extension of the Tax Rates would have cost NOTHING Stand Alone.

Some in Business have been waiting for this. Now they can buy NEW Machines and write off the cost, INSTEAD of hiring new Employees that they still have no idea what the long term costs will be with Obamacare, ETC. It will help Business, but I doubt it will help the Unemployment Lines.

Congratulation Dick Durbin, for coming out and making such an asinine statement that we all know runs completely opposite from what you have said in the pass, and attempting to share credit with Obama for the Bush Tax Cuts, you ARE the Idiot of the Week. Now, why do you not come out and tell us what else you would like to take credit for. Perhaps the success of the Tea Party Movement,,Wait! Actually, with that one, you probably could. {Smile}

Couple that with his tendencies to drop the F-Bomb, and other Gems over the time in Office, he has shown himself to be nothing more than a full fledged Idiot.

Well, this Week's Winner thinks it an Honor to be compared to him. I'm not kidding.

The head of the Ohio Democratic Party is brushing off his description of Tea Partiers and other opponents of President Obama's health care law as "f--kers," saying he shares a penchant for blurting with Vice President Biden.

"It is what it is," Ohio Democratic Party Chairman Chris Redfern told Fox News regarding his Monday appearance at an endorsement event by the United Steelworkers for several Ohio Democrats, including Gov. Ted Strickland.

"Vice President Biden and I have a way with words," Redfern said, conjuring up the vice president's description this spring of the signing of the health care law as a "big f---ing deal."

This is a badge of Honor? Really? This guy IS just like Biden. He's an Idiot.

He also suggested the audience could handle it.

"Look, I was speaking to 40 grizzled steelworkers," Redfern said.

Yeah, you know, those stupid hick Voters that the Left is so quick to call stupid and then say, "We're here for you."

Redfern said during his remarks he was lamenting "people in this state who look at health care as a privilege, not a right."

It IS a privilege not a Right you Moron.

"If your kids are going to graduate from college, now he or she gets health care, your heath care, while he or she looks for a new job," Redfern reportedly said. "It's in the very base terms we win these arguments. Every time one of these f--kers says, excuse my language ..."

The comment was captured by a WTOV9 news camera, which had been invited to videotape the endorsement.

Redfern told Fox News that he thought his remarks were off-camera.

"The reporter was working her Blackberry and the photographer was standing away from his camera, but I guess it was on," he said.

Like I said, when they think they are talking to like minded people and they think no one else is watching, they tell you EXACTLY who they are and what they think. Then our Logic Winner spoke up. This is one of those few times that we get BOTH Winners at one time.

Chris Littleton, the president of the Cincinnati Tea Party, responded that just because Redfern didn't know the cameras were rolling doesn't mean his point of view changes. He added that all the accusations that Tea Partiers are racist or hateful are a "projection" of opponents' own thoughts and he'd be willing to explain to Redfern why the health care law is problematic to Tea Party participants.

"These leaders and candidates can't stand on facts or logic, so they use hate and insults," Littleton said in a statement. "When you believe in principles of liberty, you don't have any reason to hate or demean. We don't need to make appeals to emotion because we can rely on history and fact."

A Fox News/Pulse Opinion Research poll released Tuesday showed Strickland six points behind former Ohio Rep. John Kasich in Strickland's re-election race. The poll, taken Sept. 18, of 1,000 likely voters, has a 3 percent margin of error.

Wait!? Another Conservative leading in the Polls. Imagine that. {Smile} Congratulations Chris Redfern, you ARE the Idiot of the Week. I understand it is not your fault. You, like most Liberals, are too ignorant to see Reality and do not possess the ability to actually THINK for yourself. Nor apply Logic and Reason to what you are being told. But don't worry, they Adults are coming home. They will run things much better than you and the rest of the Children running the show now.

Remember back in 2007, when asked about the Surge Plan for Iraq, our Idiot said this.

"He's dead, flat wrong. The fact of the matter is that there is -- that this -- uh -- this idea of the security gains we made have had no impact on the underlying sectarian dynamic. None. None whatsoever. Can anybody envision a central government made up of Sunni, Shi'a, and Kurds that's going to gain the trust and respect of 27 million Iraqis? There have been some tactical gains, but they have no ultimate bearing at this point on the prospect of there being a political settlement in Iraq that would allow American troops to come home without leaving chaos behind."

Then he said THIS.

"The surge isn't going to work either tactically or strategically. Tactically it isn't going to work because ... our guys go in and secure a neighborhood, but because we don't have enough troops, we have to turn it over to the Iraqis, and they can't hold it or won't hold it.”

Then in 2008, our Idiot released THIS statement.

“As we mark the fifth anniversary of the Iraq War tomorrow, we should ask two questions: Are we any closer than we were a year ago – when the surge began – to ending the war? And what is the Administration’s plan to do so? Those are the questions most Americans want answered, but this Administration cannot or will not answer. The surge has helped bring violence down, but when it ends, we will be right back where we started: with 130,000 troops in Iraq, with the country no nearer to self-sustaining stability and with no end in sight for America.

Treading water in Iraq does not equal progress and we can’t keep doing it without exhausting ourselves. When Congress returns, the Foreign Relations Committee will hold two weeks of hearings to look at where we go next and how we can start to leave Iraq without leaving chaos behind.”

He, together with other Antiwar Kooks, attempted to do any and every thing in their power to get us to LOSE in Iraq. They stood in the way. They stalled funding. They called our Troops names and said that they were committing War atrocities and terrorizing women and children.

Now? Jump ahead to 2010.

"I'm very optimistic about -- about Iraq, and this can be one of the great achievements of this administration. You're going to see 90,000 American troops come marching home by the, uh, end of the summer. You're going to see a stable government in Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government."

What? Really? Let's forget for a second that the withdraw of 90,000 troops was put in place by BUSH, before Obama and Idiot took office. Let's look at what he said.

"Can anybody envision a central government made up of Sunni, Shi'a, and Kurds that's going to gain the trust and respect of 27 million Iraqis?"

He is just an Idiot.

Hey folks,

It's Sunday! Time for the IWA. This weeks winner is an Idiot. We have talked about him before. This is the same guy that said this.

"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," he said. "I mean, that’s a storybook, man."

And this.

"In Delaware, the largest growth in population is Indian-Americans, moving from India. You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I'm not joking."

He even SAID "I'm not joking." Which means that he TRULY means what he said. He truly believes that. Just like he believe that Obama is the "first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean?" Which also must mean that he sees most African-Americans as stupid and dirty, right? Remember Rev Jackson ran fro President. Al Sharpton? I guess in Biden's eyes they are NOT "articulate and bright and clean."

Remember what he said about Obama's Iraq policies? He said Barack Obama is "offering charming but insubstantial fluff." {Laughing} I guess Obama forgot about that.

Now if this had been a Republican, the Mainstream Media would have been calling for his head, and the Republican Party would have most likely not only threw him under the bus, they would have gotten in a driven over him a few times to make sure he could not resurface somewhere else. But since he is a Democrat, he gets picked to be the VP candidate. {Laughing}

Yup. I'm talking about Biden. Joe Biden. Since he over came these, uh, gaffs, one would think he would be REALLY careful what he says and REALLY careful about how he says them. Right? Wrong.

Biden: "Uh, uh, Chuck Graham, state senator, is here. Stand up, Chuck. Let 'em see you. Oh, God love you. What am I talking about? I tell you what, you're making everybody else stand up, though, pal. I tell you what, stand up for Chuck."

Talking about Sen. Chuck Graham who just happens to be in a wheelchair. Remember, he is campaigning to be the next Vice President of the United States, and Palin just appeared from nowhere shaking the Democrat Party to the ground. So how does he try to get the votes to stay with him and Obama? He says this.

Biden: "Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America. Let's get that straight. She's a truly close personal friend. She is qualified to be president of the United States of America. She's easily qualified to be vice president of the United States of America. And, quite frankly, um, it might have been a better pick than me. But she's first rate."

Yes folks, Obiden is starting to feel the heat. Joe, a little advice for you buddy. You are trying to become the second most powerful person in the Free World and a heartbeat away from being President. Congratulations Joe, you ARE the Idiot of the week. You really should not go around telling people that there is a better person, for the job, out there. {Smile}
