From the administration that brought you "man-caused disaster" and "overseas contingency operation," another terminology change is in the pipeline.

The White House wants the public to start using the term "global climate disruption" in place of "global warming" -- fearing the latter term oversimplifies the problem and makes it sound less dangerous than it really is.

White House science adviser John Holdren urged people to start using the phrase during a speech last week in Oslo, echoing a plea he made three years earlier. Holdren said global warming is a "dangerous misnomer" for a problem far more complicated than a rise in temperature.

The call comes as Congress prepares to adjourn for the season without completing work on a stalled climate bill. The term global warming has long been criticized as inaccurate, and the new push could be an attempt to re-shape climate messaging for next year's legislative session.

"They're trying to come up with more politically palatable ways to sell some of this stuff," said Republican pollster Adam Geller, noting that Democrats also rolled out a new logo and now refer to the Bush tax cuts as "middle-class tax cuts."

{Laughing} So do not call it Global Warming. It's NOT about tempts any more. Yeah, now they can say this no matter what the REALITY is. Like Climate Change, which DOES change daily, they can now say if Hot, Cold, Raining, Dry, Windy, Storms, NO Storms, whatever, that it is happening because of Man and Man is causing "Global Climate Disruption." {Sigh}

Oh, did you catch this? Seems that there is a bit of a Racial problem with Nancy Pelosi. According to The Hill - Waters aides expelled from Pelosi event. What? What's this about? Turns out that Nancy was at an event, and some Maxine Waters, who is under investigation, supporters were holding signs up to support her. They were thrown out. {Laughing}

Pelosi was appearing outside the Historical Society of Washington, D.C., where she addressed an X Prize awards ceremony honoring the winners of a contest to build a safe car that gets at least 100 miles per gallon. The staffers entered the outdoor area where Pelosi was scheduled to speak and departed without incident when asked to leave minutes later.

Waters told The Hill afterward that the staffers had been displaying the signs at the annual legislative conference for the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Foundation, which was held at the Washington Convention Center a few blocks away. “It ain’t about Nancy. It’s about black people,” Waters said.

So Maxine Waters, the same Congresswomen that said she wants to Socialize Big Oil, just called Nancy Pelosi a Racist. Got to love the LWL. They really can be entertaining.

Iran, LWL, Bush, What a day.

Hey folks,

What a day yesterday was. Happy Thursday to you. So much I want to comment on. Let’s see if I can get it all in. First, I was asked a ver fair question yesterday. Now you folks understand me by now, but this was an occasional visitor to the OPN. He asked me,

"Why haven’t you commented on the whole British Sailors, kidnaping thing? You spent days and weeks, talking about the President of Iran, who you call ‘Little Hitler.’ Now the world is talking about him, and you? You have said nothing about it. Why?"

I HAVE been telling you folks for the past year who and what President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is.

I have been warning you that he IS another Hitler rising. A lot of people out there just do not want to see it. I told you that there are so many similarities that is cannot be ignored. Just like now, with all the appeasers out there for this guy. Now he kidnaps 15 British soldiers, in Iraqi waters, and people start to listen to him. Which WAS the whole point. I told you when this first happened, they are British, and Britain said THEY were handling it.

But now, the one I said, "Even if the world is not, I will be watching him." IS being watched by the world. But even though the world is watching, they have decided, he is not such a bad guy. Makes me sick. Get this from the AP-Iran to release 15 British sailors

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad defused a growing confrontation with Britain, announcing the surprise release of 15 captive British sailors Wednesday and then gleefully accepting the crew's thanks and handshakes in what he called an Easter gift.

An Easter gift? This guy doesn’t care about Easter. This is just a ploy by him to separate Britain and America. Divide and conquer. One of the oldest and most effective weapons in warfare. To get even more people to go against what he fears most, US.

British Prime Minister Tony Blair expressed "profound relief" over the peaceful end to the 13-day crisis. "Throughout we have taken a measured approach — firm but calm, not negotiating, but not confronting either," Blair said in London, adding a message to the Iranian people that "we bear you no ill will."

The announcement in Tehran was a breakthrough in a crisis that had escalated over nearly two weeks, raising oil prices and fears of military conflict in the volatile region. The move to release the sailors suggested that Iran's hard-line leadership decided it had shown its strength but did not want to push the standoff too far.

They Showed their strength? The hostages did not fight back. They were ordered NOT to.

Syria, Iran's close ally, said it played a role in winning the release. "Syria exercised a sort of quiet diplomacy to solve this problem and encourage dialogue between the two parties," Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem said in Damascus.

The announcement of the release came hours after U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi met with President Bashar Assad in Damascus, trying to show that a U.S. dialogue with Syria — rejected by the Bush administration — could bring benefits for the Middle East. The British sailors were not part of their talks, and it was not clear if the release was timed to coincide with her visit.

WAIT!!Hold it a second. I knew this would be coming. I told someone yesterday, "Watch, Pelosi will get the credit for this. Hence, diplomacy, and Nancy Pelosi is so wonderful. She did what big bad Bush could never do. Blah, blah, blah. You know, anything to make Bush look bad." Read that again. "The announcement of the release came hours after U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi met with President Bashar Assad in Damascus" This suggests that she had something to do with it. But REMEMBER THIS when you start hearing her take outright credit for this, "The British sailors were not part of their talks" She had nothing to do with it. Other than being used as a pawn by the terrorists.

The rest of the story is how the British soldiers were so gracious and thankful of their "host," and how wonderful Little Hitler is. How he is reasonable and can be talked to. Bush lied. He {Little Hitler} is not a terrorist. He is a good little {insane terrorist bent on world domination} guy, just trying to run this poor little country. Let’s just leave him alone. {Sigh}

Speaking of President Bush and the LWL, Reuters reported yesterday this story. You true OPNers out there have already seen this I’m sure. But for those of you that haven’t, actually, I’ll post a second daily article today so you can read the whole thing yourself. It is amazing. Proves that we ARE winning. {Laughing} But that’s a bad thing. I’m not kidding. That’s coming up next.

No folks, I have not fell asleep when it comes to Little Hitler. Yes, I’m still watching. Rest assure, I will tell you for time to time what is going on there, and will correct others, when needed. Like today.

The Battle Continues

Hey folks,

First, thank you to my Comment Checker for passing along the notice. Not that I really liked her little note, she meant well. I’ll forgive her this time. {Smile} But she was right, I’m back and here now. Also, those of you who have left comments, I have finally responded. Anyway, busy day, so let’s get right to it.

The battle continues here at home between the President and the worthless do nothing Congress. The battle has now taken many fronts. It doesn’t seem much like it’s going away soon. Congress is frustrated at the fact they ARE a do nothing group of stupid people. I cannot use the word idiots here, because they KNOW what they are doing, but they are incredibly unintelligent for doing so.

After the last three days, I have made an executive decision, I will now longer call them Sen, Congressman, or whatever. Well, some of them anyway. They no longer deserve any respect at all. The titles are worthy of respect. The positions deserve respect. But these Looneys? I will now address them as who they are. LWL member Murtha, LWL member Bidin. So on. The U.S. House of Representatives on Friday voted to impose a September 1, 2008, deadline for withdrawing all American combat troops from Iraq, prompting a quick veto promise from President George W. Bush.

Actual he said yesterday following the vote,

"Here in Washington members of both parties recognize that our most solemn responsibility is to support our troops in the war on terror. Yet today, a narrow majority in the House of Representatives abdicated its responsibility by passing a war spending bill that has no chance of becoming law and brings us no closer to getting our troops the resources they need to do their job. The purpose of the emergency war spending bill I requested was to provide our troops with vital funding. Instead, Democrats in the House, in an act of political theater, voted to substitute their judgment for that of our military commanders on the ground in Iraq.

They set rigid restrictions that will require an Army of lawyers to interpret. They set an arbitrary date for withdrawal without regard for conditions on the ground. And they tacked on billions for pet projects that have nothing to do with winning the war on terror. This bill has too much pork, too many conditions, and an artificial timetable for withdrawal.

I will veto if it comes to my desk. And because a vote in the House was so close, it was clear that my veto would be sustained. Today's action in the House does only one thing. It delays the delivery of vital resources for our troops. A narrow majority has decided to take this course just as General Petraeus and his troops are carrying out a new strategy to help the Iraqis secure their capital city. Amid the real challenges in Iraq, we're beginning to see some signs of progress. Yet to score political points, the Democratic majority in the House has shown it is willing to undermine the gains our troops are making on the ground. Democrats want to make clear that they oppose the war in Iraq. They made their point. For some, that is not enough.

These Democrats believe that the longer they can delay funding for our troops, the more likely they are to force me to accept restrictions on our commanders, an artificial timetable for withdrawal, and their pet spending projects. This is not going to happen. Our men and women in uniform need these emergency war funds. The secretary of defense has warned that if Congress does not approve the emergency funding for our troops, by April the 15th, our men and women in uniform will face significant disruptions, and so will their families. Democrats have sent their message. Now it's time to send their money. This is an important moment of decision for the new leaders in Congress. Our men and women in uniform should not have to worry that politicians in Washington will deny them the funds and the flexibility they need to win. Congress needs to send me a clean bill that I can sign without delay. I expect Congress to do its duty and to fund our troops. And so do the American people."

OK, translation time folks, {Laughing} The President of the United States of America, just said to the United State Congress,,, Ready? "Screw you!" {Laughing harder}

They {The LWL} truly believe that this, as the President said, will force him to sign it into law. They are in essence, holding our men and men hostage, and demanding twenty five BILLION dollars, and control of the war. The President said "This bill has too much pork, too many conditions, and an artificial timetable for withdrawal."

Now to this concept that if they do not pass a spending bill, the war ends. That’s NOT true. General Petraeus laid out what will happen yesterday. He said if they do not approve the money, cuts will be made domestically. Training for new service men and women for domestic positions. Purchase and repairs for domestic troops cut. Upgrades for housing and other things for domestic troops. Then, that money will go to the troops for the war. EVEN if they cut funding, the troops fighting the war, will still be funded and protected. It will be an extreme hardship at the hands of the LWL, these worthless spineless, Left Wing Looney, cowards. But our troops in the fields will be protected from both their domestic and foreign enemies.

So? "Screw you!!" again.

Then today The Washington Post reports,

The acquiescence of the liberals probably means that the House will pass a binding measure today that, for the first time, would establish tough readiness standards for the deployment of combat forces and an Aug. 31, 2008, deadline for their removal from Iraq.

Of course? I can feel another "Screw you" coming.

The subpoena’s for Rove? and others if they {LWL} do not hear what the want in their moronic hearing on the eight fired Federal Prosecutors? Bush said, "not going to happen." what does that translate too? You get the point.

Yes folks, the battle continues. The battle also continues to heat up. But in the end we are delegated to simply saying, we will just have to wait and see.
