PELOSI: Well, the family planning services reduce cost. They reduce cost. The states are in terrible fiscal budget crises now and part of what we do for children's health, education and some of those elements are to help the states meet their financial needs. One of those - one of the initiatives you mentioned, the contraception, will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government.

PELOSI: No apologies. No. We have to deal with the consequences of the downturn in our economy.

(CNSNews.com) - During an event at Texas A&M University on Monday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) claimed the Catholic Church has not enforced its teaching on contraception and that the church now wants the federal government to enforce that teaching for it.

“Ninety-eight percent of women in childbearing age that are Catholic use contraception. So, in practice the church has not enforced this and now they want the federal government and private insurance to enforce it. It just isn’t consistent to me,” Pelosi said.

The statement came after Pelosi was questioned about the conflict between the Catholic Church and the Obama administration over a regulation, set to take effect on Aug. 1, that will require all health-care plans in the United States to cover sterilizations, artificial contraceptives and abortifacients, and thus would force Catholic institutions and individuals, in complying with the Obmacare mandate to buy health insurance, to act against their consciences and the teachings of their faith.

“Whatever my personal beliefs or my personal upbringing are on this subject everyone has their own responsibility in terms of the size and the rest of their family. So, I think this should be removed from the debate, it’s inflammatory--misrepresentations are made,” Pelosi added.

All 181 Catholic bishops in the United States oppose and have publicly denounced the regulation issued by the Obama administration, and the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops have called it "an unprecedented attack on religious freedom."

"Everyone has their own responsibility in terms of the size and the rest of their family." One Child. According to this Twit, it will save us all money, especially if Poor and Stupid People only have one kid. Less people on the Government Payroll. It is even good for the Environment too. So since the Catholic Church can't come out and say it, they want others to do it for them. They understand. They AGREE. Hey folks,

Please understand that this is an attempt to explain what I was talking about on Facebook. Please understand that I am NOT calling for a Protest, Boycott, or anything of that sort. I'm simply explaining what happened and HOPING that you do not judge the Rest of the Station nor the other Shows based on being Offended by this ONE Show and this ONE Guy.

You all know I believe in Free Speech. You all know I believe in Freedom OF Religion. You all know that I believe in God. You have a RIGHT to believe or not. You have a RIGHT to saying anything you want. I not only get that, I agree with it. But if what you say offends someone, then you have to deal with that person not being friends, or pleasant toward you. You have the RIGHT to say anything, as long as you are willing to deal with the Consequences.

I love comedy. I have no problem if someone jokes about God, the Bible, the Devil, White People, Black People, Women, whatever. If it is in a joking manner, part of a bit, or whatever, I'm usually OK with it. If it is over the top, I can brush it off and move on.

However, when you go on a Radio Show and you start by calling someone who was speaking at a RELIGIOUS School about the Devil and HIS Views on Faith, and proceed to call him a Kook, Nut, and Crazy, you may be pushing it a bit. But then if you go on for like two of three segments, talking about "This is Crazy Talk." and "He should keep this kind of thing in Crazy Land." you then go from entertaining to offending.

Now it's no longer a Joke. Now it's no longer a bit. NOW it is what you really believe and what you really mean. Which again, is OK. However, it becomes offensive to others that fit in that category. People of Faith. People that DO believe in God, the Devil, and the Bible. People that GO to the "Crazy Land" as Paul Barsky called it, also known as CHURCH.

So on Tuesday night I was told by someone, who was listening at my recommendation when this happened , that they were HIGHLY Offended. They asked WHY I would recommend someone like this. I apologized and thought it may be a good Idea to apologize to ANYONE out there that also became offended by listening to a Show I promoted. So I did. I am.

Folks, again, please do not get me wrong. I am NOT calling for you to Boycott the Show. If he keeps going like this, he will not last long all by himself. I LIKE the Show. He can be a funny guy. I like the others on the Show. I was the first ever, well, I got disconnected, so I was the SECOND caller ever on the Show. However, I will no longer be listening to the Show for the same reasons some of you will not be. Listen if you want to. Don't if you do not want to. But again, PLEASE, do not judge the OTHER Shows on Big Talk 850 based on this ONE. Thank you and again, if you were offended by listening to the Show at my prompting, I apologize.

Obama Ruled????? Really? Obama RULED?!?!? But do not worry The All Knowing, All Merciful, King Barack Hussein Obama, has given them one year to comply. Obama Ruled? Where are the cries of Separ,,,never mind.

So Obama demands that Private Religious Organization MUST offer Birth Control. He has NO Authority to do this folks. NONE. It IS Unconstitutional. But then again, MOST of the things that Obama does IS Unconstitutional. One of the Problems is NO ONE is calling him on it. The Media LOVE what he does. They LOVE it. They are also controlled by the Liberal Left Kook Fringe. They simply Report, or NOT Report, whatever they are told.

Well, to their "Surprise," Religious Organizations said they would not comply. Imagine that. They said that this, and they are right, is a direct Violation of the U.S. Constitution. They basically told Obama, "Rule all you want, you mean NOTHING to us, and basically, uh, well, Screw Off."

I'm sure there were all kinds of Lawyers, "Experts," ETC that got involved here and told the Obama Administration, "You really can't do this. This is way too Obvious. WASHINGTON, February 10, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The White House announced today that, instead of forcing religious employers to pay for birth control, it will force insurance companies to offer the drugs free of charge to all women, no matter where they work.

Stop right there a second. Obama CAN'T force Religious Employers to do ANYTHING. He has no authority over them AT ALL. I know that irks him and most Liberals, but it's true. NO authority whatsoever. NONE. Zero. He can "Rule" all he wants, but they can and should do exactly what they did. Say Screw Off.

The plan, put forward as a concession to freedom of religion, was immediately denounced by Catholic Rep. Chris Smith as fundamentally the exact same mandate.

“The so-called new policy is the discredited old policy, dressed up to look like something else,” said Smith. “It remains a serious violation of religious freedom. Only the most naive or gullible would accept this as a change in policy.”

“The White House Fact Sheet is riddled with doublespeak and contradiction,” Smith continued. “It states, for example, that religious employers ‘will not’ have to pay for abortion pills, sterilization and contraception, but their ‘insurance companies’ will. Who pays for the insurance policy? The religious employer.”

Yup. What happens when your Insurance Company adds new stuff they cover? Your Premium goes up. YOU are paying more to cover the new stuff. So in an indirect way, they would STILL be paying for what Obama wants them to pay for.

In a statement released today, the White House said, “Under the new policy announced today, women will have free preventive care that includes contraceptive services no matter where she works.”

“If a woman works for religious employers with objections to providing contraceptive services as part of its health plan, the religious employer will not be required to provide contraception coverage but her insurance company will be required to offer contraceptive care free of charge.”

Paid for by whom? Nothing is FREE. Especially when Government gets involved.

The birth control rule announced last summer was intended to force virtually all employers to cover sterilizations and contraception, including abortifacient drugs such as ella, a sister drug to RU-486. The religious employer exemption essentially applied only to houses of worship, creating an uproar in the Catholic and Christian community as hospitals, schools, and charities would have been forced to pay for the drugs. The furor only grew stronger when the administration announced last month that the concerned religious organizations would be given an extra year to comply.

President Obama reiterated the statement in a press conference this afternoon, saying that “the insurance company, not the hospital, not the charity, will be required to reach out” to women employed by such institutions to offer birth control “without copays, without hassles.”

It doesn't matter what Obama "Rules" or says. He does not have the Authority to do this. But I guess it's OK, If these Religious Organizations refuse and drop the Insurance coverage all together, Obamacare will be glad to pick these people up. Right?

Before it was released, the new rule was expected to be similar to coverage laws in Hawaii that allow employers with religious objections not to directly pay for contraception, but instead to direct employees on how to conveniently access all such drugs and procedures, an option one Catholic spokesman already said would be materially inadequate.

“It would be no improvement to say: ‘Sure, you don’t have to include the coverage, you just have to send all your lay employees and women religious to the local Planned Parenthood clinic,’” Richard Doerflinger of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops said in an email to the Weekly Standard.

The reworded mandate offered even less of a concession to religious freedom than the Hawaii rules, as it still leaves religious employers footing the premium bill for employees receiving free contraception through their insurance.

Bill Donohue of the Catholic League said the new phraseology merely “adds insult to injury.”

“If the insurance plan of a Catholic institution must cover services it deems immoral, then such a healthcare plan is offensive, plain and simple,” said Donohue in a statement Friday. “When it comes to the First Amendment, there is no such thing as a half loaf.”

Eric Scheidler of the Pro-Life Action League also told LifeSiteNews.com that the new rule amounted to a “shell game.” “At the end of the day, religious employers are still required to provide insurance plans that offer free contraceptives, sterilizations and abortifacients in violation of their moral tenets,” he said.

The country’s Catholic bishops have not yet responded to the White House’s statement. However, both Planned Parenthood and the Catholic Health Association (CHA) have expressed satisfaction with the new plan.

Of course they are satisfied with is. Look at all that new Money...

“The framework developed has responded to the issues we identified that needed to be fixed,” said Sr. Carol Keehan of CHA. Keehan and her organization are perhaps best known for flouting the position of the Catholic bishops during the fight over Obama’s health care reform, throwing their weight behind the bill despite the opposition of the U.S. bishops over concerns the bill would increase abortion funding. Keehan was personally singled out by former USCCB President Cardinal Francis George for condemnation for her role in helping pass the health reform law.

Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards issued a statement, saying: “In the face of a misleading and outrageous assault on women’s health, the Obama administration has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring all women will have access to birth control coverage, with no costly co-pays, no additional hurdles, and no matter where they work.

“We believe the compliance mechanism does not compromise a woman.s ability to access these critical birth control benefits. However we will be vigilant in holding the administration and the institutions accountable for a rigorous, fair and consistent implementation of the policy, which does not compromise the essential principles of access to care.”

YOU HAVE NO AUTHORITY to hold ANY Religious Organization accountable to YOU for ANYTHING. Nothing. They do not answer to Planned Parenthood, or the US Government. So you Twit, Screw Off. He and Queen Michelle take Lavish trips in DIFFERENT Air Crafts, Hours Apart. He reserves the Entire Taj Mahal. The Queen goes on massive Shopping Trips on the Tax Payer's Dime. In a decision expected to draw opposition from religious conservatives, the Department of Health and Human Services issued a final rule requiring affiliated groups to provide a broad range of services, from implanted contraceptive devices to the morning-after pill. Many do not at present.

The government's decision does not apply to churches, synagogues, mosques, temples and some religiously-affiliated elementary and secondary schools, which remain exempt.

But it comes as a blow to the interests of some religious authorities.

When HHS first announced plans to adopt the birth control rule last August, it stirred protests from religious groups including the Roman Catholic Church that wanted the exemption to apply to a broader category of organizations. The Catholic Church holds contraception to be sinful.

The change, intended to reduce unwanted pregnancies and abortions, is part of President Barack Obama's healthcare overhaul, his signature domestic policy achievement, which is facing major challenges from the Supreme Court and Republicans this year as the president seeks re-election.

"This decision was made after very careful consideration, including the important concerns some have raised about religious liberty," Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said in a statement.

"This proposal strikes the appropriate balance between respecting religious freedom and increasing access to important preventive services."

No it doesn't. Allow me to post something that THIS Administration, and the Liberal Loons, have NO CLUE what IT actually says.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." US Constitution First Amendment.

Lets see. , the US Constitution applies to the Federal Government. NOT the States, NOT the Private Organizations. The Federal Government. Second, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion," The Federal Government cannot ESTABLISH a NATIONAL Religion. Think England. They cannot CREATE a National Religion and Create Laws forcing people to fund and Worship at Direction of said Religion. Third? "or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."Meaning, the Federal Government cannot, I repeat, CANNOT, interfere in ANY WAY WHATSOEVER, of YOUR RIGHT to Worship ANY WHERE, ANY WAY, you chose. They can NOT dictate to PRIVATE RELIGIOUS Organizations how they operate. Period.

I know, I know, Obama don't care about the Constitution. From refusing to enforce Laws that he doesn't agree with, including refusing to Prosecute CRIMES if the Offenders a Black, to Defend Marriage, to appointing recess Appointments when Congress is not in Recess. Hell, Obamacare. Obama don't like, nor does he CARE, about the Constitution. No one is standing up against him. Not the Media, sadly, not even the GOP.

Look, in 2010, YOU Spoke loud and clear. The New People that YOU Put into Office are TRYING to do the Right thing. Problem is, they do not have the Numbers yet. They still have the Establishment Republicans to answer to. They still have to fall into place. We need MORE true Conservatives Elected to Power. We need sheer numbers. We need enough SANE Adults in Congress to override the Establishment Leaders. We need enough to take over the Direction of Congress.

I want you to remember all the things that Obama has done. I want you to THINK about this type of Headline. "Obama Ruled" when you go into the Polling Place. Do you want 4 more years? Possibly a lot MORE than 4 more years? Remember, there ARE some in Congress that are OPENLY and ACTIVELY Talking about doing away with Elections all together. Think about 4 more years of Obama with NOTHING to lose. Think of how much MORE Damage can be done. Think about how much more FREEDOMS can be lost. Think about America itself. What kind of Country do you want to leave for YOUR Kids? Time to make some REALLY, Difficult for some, easy for others, but SERIOUS for ALL, decisions for our own future. PITMAN, N.J. (CBS) – Some residents of a South Jersey town are calling a Knights of Columbus banner that hangs over Broadway in Pitman, a sign of the season.

It reads “Keep Christ in Christmas.”

“I think it’s wonderful, Christ is Christmas,” said Maria Marandino of Vineland.

Some unnamed residents who live in Pitman and who believe the sign that hangs across Main Street violates the Constitution, contacted the Freedom from Religion Foundation in Wisconsin that promotes separation of church and state. The group’s consultant told Eyewitness News by phone that they've asked the town to remove the sign.

“It’s a group endorsing religion over a public right of way,” said Andrew Seidel, the group’s constitutional consultant.

The town’s mayor says the sign is attached to private property and hanging over a county road.

“I think it’s a sad state of affairs that our country, we kowtow to the minority and not the majority of people who like that sort of thing to stay,” said Mayor Michael Batten.

Some residents say a nativity scene was removed from a Christmas display because the park it was displayed in is Pitman’s property.

The Freedom from Religion Foundation says they will look for private property in Pitman now to hang their sign, which reads:

“At this season of the Winter Solstice, may reason prevail. There are no gods, no devils, no angels, no heaven or hell. There is only our natural world. Religion is but myth and superstition that hardens hearts and enslaves minds,” said Seidel.

Anna Dora Shipley said the sign has been hung every Christmas in the 45 years she’s been here. She doesn’t like the Foundation’s sign but says they have a right to put it up.

“Just don’t take mine down,” said Shipley.

Now we will be spending some time on this. But this is completely ridiculous. This is another clear case of those Idiots that feel they have the right to dictate to everyone else how they should live. A Religious Bigot, Hate filled, Ignorant Moron, THINKS that he has a right to tell a Town in another State what Sign they should display. I'm glad that the Mayor is NOT going to listen to this Fool. He has no reason to. If someone in Pitman is not happy, let them speak up for themselves. This Moron in Wisconsin doesn't like it, don't go to Pitman. Something tells me he would not be that welcomed anyway.
