Amazon Defense Communications, AKA Hinton Communications, AKA Anna

Who is Karen Hinton?

Hey folks,

I was going to talk about Obama's Speech to the Kiddies, but because YOU learned what it was suppose to be all about, he changed it. I do not know if they officially pulled the planners, but I hear that they will NOT be used. Once again, this Administration attempted to do something they had no business doing, and got caught.

So what I DO want to talk about is this. You know I've been following the Chevron Lawsuit in Ecuador pretty closely. It has much large implications than just someone attempting to extort Big Oil. Last Sunday I posted this. Ecuador Judge Says Recuses Himself From Lawsuit Vs Chevron This is where the Judge presiding the case recused himself, after getting caught being Bribed to rule against Chevron.

Well, that lead to this following comment left by "Anna Kay"

Anna Kay said...

"I must disagree. Have you watched the videos Chevron posted? They were totally fabricated by Chevron to delay the ruling and I'm surprised oil giant like Chevron did such a lousy job. Nowhere in those tapes does the judge discuss or accept the bribe.

As for Ecuadorian government releasing Texaco from liabilities.. This is what Chevron doesn't say. One, the “release agreement” with the government excluded individual claims, saying there was no way the government would or could prevent an individual from suing Texaco in the future. Two, Texaco never cleaned up the pits, so the agreement is null and void anyway. Court evidence has shown oil site after oil site with high levels of contamination, even though Texaco claimed to have remediated the site."

Now I'm thinking that Anna is just an average, everyday person. Most likely an Envionut, just buying into the whole "Big Oil" evil thing. That they make way to much profit and that "windfall profit," which is nothing even related to windfall profit as we have talked about in the past, should be redistributed to the poor. But that is not the case.

Turns out that Anna Kay is a pseudonym used by Karen Hinton, PR representative for the Plaintiffs. So who is the Amazon Defense Coalition? Of which Hinton is the one and only Spokesperson for? From what I can tell, the Amazon Defense Coalition does not exist. Perhaps nothing more than a front for the Ecuadorian Government, and the main violator of Environmental violations, Petroecuador itself.

Seriously folks, Amazon Defense Coalition has no Website, no physical Office. There is no President, nor Board of Directors. There is no Secretary and no Budget listed anywhere. No tax returns, nor Tax exemption status. It is a FAKE COMPANY. The only person who is consistently listed anywhere is Karen Hinton herself.

When a fellow blogger ended up dealing with Karen, he found this.

Karen Hinton should come clean and reveal what I already know: that her American company is working for the President of Ecuador Rafael Correa as a foreign agent and appears to be financed by them.

Hinton's ties in this matter are deep. She's linked with Washington lobbyist Ben Barnes, who's linked with Steve Donziger, of the law firm Kohn, Swift, and Graft (who hired Barnes), and who's the master lawyer in the lawsuit against Chevron and who may be getting resources from the Ecuadorian government, too. Indeed, the The Ben Barnes Group is listed as one of Hinton's clients and Hinton's the Amazon Defense Coalition so one can effectively say that Barnes has a major role in the Amazon Defense Coalition because it's really just Hinton who's paid by Barnes, who in turn is paid by Donziger / Kohn, Swift, and Graft, who must get its money from the Ecuadorian government, because they too stand to rake in billions, even with the one-third award stake Donziger will gain should he prevail in these legal battles. It's worth the investment.

The Ben Barnes Group is an effective lobbying organization, and its founder, Barnes, has made millions doing deals between special interest groups, companies, and powerful Democratic office-holders. Barnes has served as the spokesperson for R. Allen Stanford, who's the focal point of the Stanford Investment Scandal. (To be fair, Barnes says he has played no role in Stanford's business dealings and is said to be "shocked and saddened" by the allegations against his friend and client.)

So We have a corrupt Government and a corrupt Judge, and a phony lawsuit. We have a FAKE company, FAKE Spokesperson, and FAKE Person leaving comments. Posting incorrect information in the form of a comment? We have PROOF that the Government owned and controlled Oil Company, Petroecuador, IS the guilty one here. They fail to protect the environment and continue to pollute to this day. With all this, we are suppose to believe that Chevron is to blame. Even though THEY had nothing to do with Texaco at the time and Texaco hasn't even been there for over twenty years? Amazing.

What was Anna's response when I outed her? She denied it of course. She said this.

"I am not Karen Hinton, but I read the press releases she writes for the Amazon Defense Coalition on chevrontoxico.com. You are right. I am an environmentalist, and I do care about issues related to indigenous tribes."

Then why do you not care about all the pollution and Environmental damage that Petroecuador is doing as we speak? Where is the Lawsuit against them? Where is your concern about the Government spraying entire villages with chemicals causing sickness and disease? Even in infants? I guess that doesn't concern you. I know, Chevron has a lot of money and you would love to get some of the 27 Billion dollars. Screw the people. You just, uh, sorry, Karen {Smile, wink wink} just wants to get paid.

More Reasons to Drill

From the Energy Front 090809

Hey folks,

You hear it all the time. We are going to run out of Oil. No new drilling will do much of anything to bring down prices. There just isn't enough to worry about Drilling. So on, so forth.

Then you have the reality. We have more Oil and Natural Gas here, than in the whole middle East combined. Truth is, we have more in the Gulf than we even know. According to Reuters - BP Makes "Giant" Oil Find in Gulf of Mexico by Tom Bergin

LONDON (Reuters) - Oil major BP Plc said it has made an oil discovery in the Gulf of Mexico, which analysts believe could contain over 1 billion barrels of recoverable reserves, reaffirming the Gulf's strategic importance to the industry.

BP said in a statement on Wednesday that it had made the "giant" find at its Tiber Prospect in the Keathley Canyon block 102, by drilling one of the deepest wells ever sunk by the industry.

Further appraisal will be required to ascertain the size of volumes of oil present, but a spokesman said the find should be bigger than its Kaskida discovery which has over 3 billion barrels of oil in place.

Estimates of recoverable reserves range from around 20 percent of oil in place.

"Assuming reserves in place of 4 billion barrels and a 35 percent recovery rate, BP's proven reserves .. would rise by 868 million barrels -- equivalent to 4.8 percent of the group's 18.14 billion barrels of proven reserves," Aymeric De-Villaret, oil analyst at Societe Generale said in a research note.

BP, the biggest oil producer in the U.S. and biggest leaseholder in the Gulf of Mexico, has a 62 percent working interest in the block, while Brazilian state-controlled Petrobras owns 20 percent and U.S. oil major ConocoPhillips owns 18 percent.

Iain Armstrong, analyst at Brewin Dolphin, said the discovery may have implications for long-term oil prices.

"It will ease concerns about peak oil because it shows there is life left in these mature areas," he said, adding that it could be the second half of the next decade before the find is producing.

The discovery also bodes well for other exploration in that part of the Gulf of Mexico, including at Royal Dutch Shell's nearby Great White field, Jason Kenny, oil analyst at ING in Edinburgh, said.

BP shares, which had been trading slightly down ahead of the statement, closed up 4.3 percent at 541 pence, outperforming a 1.75 percent rise in the DJ Stoxx European oil and gas sector index.

The Gulf of Mexico has become increasingly important to Western oil majors as oil rich-countries such as Saudi Arabia, Venezuela and Russia reserve their richest fields to be developed by their state-owned oil companies.

The Gulf is especially attractive because it offers high profit margins, due to relatively low taxation compared to countries such as Russia and Nigeria, and because of the low political risk.

As nearer-shore discoveries dry up, companies have pushed further out to sea, which has forced them to develop new technologies to detect and extract the oil.

The prospects for massive discoveries in the deep water of the Gulf of Mexico is also good news for U.S. politicians' ambitions to reduce the country's reliance on imported oil, although oil executives doubt the U.S. is capable of becoming self sufficient in oil.

That's because some US Politicians will not just get out of the way and let the REAL EXPERTS in this field do their thing. That is because some Politicians that remain beholden to the Evionuts keep BLOCKING the process that continues to be proven safe and productive, to favor a unrealized Dream of Alternative Energy. That's because SOME US Politicians WANT to be reliant on Foreign Oil, for various reasons. One includes MONEY.

This is also further proof that REALITY does not meet the Rhetoric that we will run out of oil soon and we await catastrophe if we do nothing. By NOT Drilling, this will be true. We WILL meet with Catastrophe if we abandon that of which we know WORKS for a DREAM that is decades aways from the infant stages, that even THEN, is unproven to work. WE have the answer. We just need to let those that understand it, go get it. It really is just that simple.

Ecuador Judge Says Recuses Himself From Lawsuit Vs Chevron

Preview for Sunday 090609

Hey folks,

Welcome to the Big Sunday Edition of the OPNTalk Blog. Glad you could make it. Seems Obama is learning, he is NOT Omnipotent. He can not get his Cap and Tax passed, he is failing BIG TIME on Obamacare, and now the Anti-War Kooks are coming out against him on Afghan. Just rumblings right now, but it's building.

First, privately, the Top Generals were told to ask for anything they want, with one exception, do not DARE ask for more troops. When this news came out, of course, publicly Obama and Crew suggested a willingness to consider an increase. However, then Harry Reid just said that we must build up the Afghan Army, send more civilians to Afghanistan to provide economic and political assistance, and reach out to Taliban supporters who are willing to recognize the Kabul government. He doesn't want more Troops. I guess he thinks "This War is Lost." also. Welcome to the Big Leagues Barack. Now go back to just being their Puppet. Give great speeches and let them do whatever they want. {Smile}

Anyway, coming right up today?

Ecuador Judge Says Recuses Himself From Lawsuit Vs Chevron

QUITO (Dow Jones)--The Ecuadorean judge purportedly caught on videotape discussing a multi-billion dollar lawsuit against Chevron Corp. (CVX) has recused himself from the on-going case, Judge Juan Nunez said Friday.

Chevron released recordings Monday that it claims shows Nunez, who oversees the Lago Agrio court where the trial is being held, affirming that he would hold the oil company culpable for environmental damages. It said the videos prove the judge should be disqualified from the case.

You THINK?

Nunez has contended that the video footage was manipulated. Chevron has said the videos are authentic and haven't been doctored.

"I have communicated with both sides in this case that I recuse myself from continuing with this case," Nunez told Dow Jones Newswires. "However, I will continue with my work as a judge, and as president of the Lago Agrio Court, because I have not committed any illegality or irregularity."

Nah, just agreed to rule in favor of a Plaintiff for the sum of a Million Dollars. Nothing illegal of irregular there. Not in Ecuador at least. But he is still the President of the Court, so whichever Judge takes up the case still has to content with him. He still has some say in this mess, but now he will be watched VERY Closely. He should not only be removed, he should be JAILED.

Nunez declined to explain the reason for his recusal. He did say that he had notified both Chevron and the plaintiffs, a group residing in the Amazon region that accuses Chevron of being responsible environmental contamination that took place decades ago, of his recusal.

The group claims that Chevron should pay for pollution caused by the oil operations of Texaco, which the energy giant acquired in 2001, while Chevron says Ecuador released it from liabilities after a cleanup by the company.

They were released. The FACTS are clear who is to really blame. It's NOT Chevron.

Pep Talk or Brainwashing, Obama School Kids Speech

It's not the Speech, it's the assignments

Hey folks,

By now you have heard that President Obama is going to give a 12 pm live speech to EVERY School House across the Nation. That's right, he is beaming himself into our Children's Schools. So what's the problem?

For the last few days, it's been a BIG Problem, debated by both sides and both sides calling the other names. So what is the big deal? The President of the United States telling our Children to stay in school and work hard? No problem. To tell you the truth, if that was all it was, I would applaud him for doing so. But that is NOT all it is. That is where the problem lies.

Among many out there covering this, the LA Examiner - The problem with President Obama speaking to elementary school children is? September 2, 11:10 AMLA Independent Examiner Dion Rabouin

President - that's President of the United States - Barack Obama is planning on speaking to children in elementary schools on Sept 8. According to the White House, the conversation will be about the importance of staying in school and getting an education.

So far, no problem. I even agree with this.

According to Education Secretary Arne Duncan, “This is the first time an American president has spoken directly to the nation’s school children about persisting and succeeding in school.”

But then you have this.

According to White House event-related guides developed by the U.S. Department of Education’s Teaching Fellows, grade-school students will be told to “listen to the speech” and “could think about the following:”

*What is the President trying to tell me?

*What is the President asking me to do?

*What new ideas and actions is the President challenging me to think about?

• Students can record important parts of the speech where the President is asking them to do something. Students might think about: What specific job is he asking me to do? Is he asking anything of anyone else? Teachers? Principals? Parents? The American people?

After the speech, teachers will ask students:

*What do you think the President wants us to do?

*Does the speech make you want to do anything?

*Are we able to do what President Obama is asking of us?

I have posted both Educational Planners for all grades. We'll talk about that in a second.

I've been reading comments about the story from everyday people who are threatening to keep their children out of school on the day of the speech and I just can't understand why anyone would want to deprive their children of a chance to have the President - that's President of the United States - speak directly to them. My father thought Ronald Reagan was the devil himself, but had he been addressing children about the importance of education, there is no way my dad would have even considered letting me miss school that day.

Yeah, never mind. I'll leave that one alone.

Yes, Obama obviously has an agenda, but do you seriously believe that he would resort to trying to indoctrinate kids to further it?

YES! The Lunatic Left have been doing it for years. It's simple. He who controls the youth, controls the future.

Even if he were that stupid, there's no way he would get away with it. It would all but destroy any credibility he has.

No doubt, we're in a very polarizingly political period in American history right now, but does everything have to be political?

Perhaps - without using ALL CAPS or resorting to insults - someone could explain to me, why our children should not be allowed to hear what the President of the United States has to say.

Because what he has to say, not in this speech, I do not think he is THAT stupid either, but in general, is ANTI-American. He wants to change the very foundation of what this country IS. He said so. So Yeah, I would not want my Son to hear the President say he hates this country.

But the problem is NOT from a Speech about staying in school. It is what the White House put together to have the TEACHERS do AFTER the "Harmless" motivational Speech. Here they are.

Menu of Classroom Activities
President Obama’s Address to Students Across America
(PreK-6)

Produced by Teaching Ambassador Fellows, U.S. Department of Education

September 8, 2009

Before the Speech

Teachers can build background knowledge about the President of the United States and his speech by reading books about presidents and Barack Obama. Teachers could motivate students by asking the following questions:

Who is the President of the United States?
What do you think it takes to be president?
To whom do you think the president is going to be speaking?
Why do you think he wants to speak to you?
What do you think he will say to you?

Teachers can ask students to imagine that they are delivering a speech to all of the students in the United States.

If you were the president, what would you tell students?
What can students do to help in our schools?
Teachers can chart ideas about what students would say.

Why is it important that we listen to the president and other elected officials, like the mayor, senators, members of congress, or the governor? Why is what they say important?

This is called CONDITIONING. Why should we listen to the President and other Elected officials, ETC. This almighty man will be speaking directly to you. He CARES what you think. ETC.

During the Speech

As the president speaks, teachers can ask students to write down key ideas or phrases that are important or personally meaningful.

Students could use a note-taking graphic organizer such as a “cluster web;” or, students could record their thoughts on sticky notes.

Younger children could draw pictures and write as appropriate.

As students listen to the speech, they could think about the following:
What is the president trying to tell me?
What is the president asking me to do?
What new ideas and actions is the president challenging me to think about?

Things that may be against or different than what my Mommy and Daddy tell me. I need to think differently than I have been taught at home. You get the point.

Students could record important parts of the speech where the president is asking them to do something. Students might think about the following:

What specific job is he asking me to do?
Is he asking anything of anyone else?
Teachers? Principals? Parents? The American people?

Students could record questions they have while he is speaking and then discuss them after the speech.

Younger children may need to dictate their questions.

After the Speech

Teachers could ask students to share the ideas they recorded, exchange sticky notes, or place notes on a butcher-paper poster in the classroom to discuss main ideas from the speech, such as citizenship, personal responsibility, and civic duty.

Read that again. "citizenship, personal responsibility, and civic duty." All tag-lines for Socialism. Look it up.

Students could discuss their responses to the following questions:

These "following questions" are straight from the White House. These are MANDATED, I mean suggested, by Obama and Crew for Teachers to ask their students.

What do you think the president wants us to do?
Does the speech make you want to do anything?
Are we able to do what President Obama is asking of us?
What would you like to tell the president?

Then of course, GIVE THEM THE ANSWERS AND PLAN IT OUT. Set goals to achieve Obama's goals. I'm not kidding.

Extension of the Speech

Teachers could extend learning by having students:

Create posters of their goals.

Posters could be formatted in quadrants, puzzle pieces, or trails marked with the following labels: personal, academic, community, and country.

Each area could be labeled with three steps for achieving goals in that area. It might make sense to focus first on personal and academic goals so that community and country goals can be more readily created.

Write letters to themselves about how they can achieve their short-term and long-term education goals.

Teachers would collect and redistribute these letters at an appropriate later date to enable students to monitor their progress.

This will be ON GOING. Not just a little Pep Talk folks. An ON GOING ASSIGNMENT DIRECTED BY THE PRESIDENT, TO OUR CHILDREN. That is BRAINWASHING!

Write goals on colored index cards or precut designs to post around the classroom.
Interview one another and share goals with the class to create a supportive community.

Participate in school-wide incentive programs or contests for those students who achieve their goals.

Write about their goals in a variety of genres, such as poems, songs, and personal essays.

Songs? Like North Korean Children singing to the "Dear Leader". They already had kids singing songs about Obama during the elections. They want to keep it going. Just another form of BRAINWASHING folks.

Create artistic projects based on the themes of their goals.
Graph individual progress toward goals.

Like I said, ON GOING. Now for the older kids.

Menu of Classroom Activities

President Obama’s Address to Students Across America
(Grades 7-12)

Produced by Teaching Ambassador Fellows, U.S. Department of Education
September 8, 2009

Before the Speech

Conduct a “quick write” or “think/pair/share” activity with students. (In the latter activity, students spend a few minutes thinking and writing about the question. Next, each student is paired with another student to discuss. Finally, the students share their ideas with the class as a whole).

Teachers may choose to ask the following questions:

What ideas do we associate with the words “responsibility,” “persistence,” and “goals?”
How would we define each term?

Teachers then may choose to create a web diagram of student ideas for each of the words.

Have students participate in a “quick write” or brainstorming activity. Teachers may ask students:

What are your strengths?
What do you think makes you successful as a student and as a person?
Teachers may engage students in short readings.
Teachers may post in large print around the classroom notable quotes excerpted from President Obama’s speeches on education.

READ THAT AGAIN! "Teachers may post in large print around the classroom notable quotes excerpted from President Obama’s speeches on education." Why not hang pictures of him all over the place as well. Remember Iraq, all the picture of Saddam on the walls of schools. Saddam in textbooks. His "Notable quotes" ETC. EVERY Dictatorship has this sort of thing. It's BRAINWASHING. Something that the Kids see every day. So often it becomes the NORM.

Teachers might ask students to think alone, compare ideas with a partner, or share their thoughts with the class. Teachers could ask students to think about the following:

What are our interpretations of these excerpts?
Based on these excerpts, what can we infer that the president believes is important in order to be educationally successful?

Create a “concept web.”
Teachers may ask students to think of the following:

Why does President Obama want to speak with us today?
How will he inspire us?
How will he challenge us?
What might he say?
Do you remember any other historic moments when the president spoke to the nation?
What was the impact?

Other Historic Moments?

After brainstorming answers to these questions, students could create a “cause-and-effect” graphic organizer.

During the Speech

Teachers might conduct a “listening with purpose” exercise based on the following ideas: personal responsibility, goals, and persistence.

Teachers might ask pairs of students to create a word bank at the top of a notes page that has been divided into two columns.

On the right-hand side, students could take notes (trying to capture direct quotations or main ideas) while President Obama talks about personal responsibility, goals, or persistence.

At the end of the speech, students could write the corresponding terms from the word bank in the left-hand column, to increase retention and deepen their understanding of an important aspect of the speech.

Are you getting this folks? Seriously?

Teachers might conduct a “listening with purpose” exercise based on the themes of inspiration and challenges.

Using a similar double-column notes page as the one described above, teachers could focus students on quotations that either propose a specific challenge to them or that inspire them in some meaningful way. Students could do this activity individually, in pairs, or in groups.

Transition/Quick Review

Teachers could ask students to look over their notes and collaborate in pairs or small groups.

Teachers might circulate and ask students questions, such as:

What more could we add to our notes?
What are the most important words in the speech?
What title would you give the speech?
What is the thesis of the speech?

After the Speech

Guided Discussion:

What resonated with you from President Obama’s speech?
What lines or phrases do you remember?
Whom is President Obama addressing?
How do you know?
Describe his audience.

We heard President Obama mention the importance of personal responsibility.

In your life, who exemplifies this kind of responsibility?
How?
Give examples.

How are the individuals in this classroom similar? How is each student different?
Suppose President Obama were to give another speech about being educationally successful.
To whom would he speak?
Why?
What would the president say?
What are the three most important words in the speech?
Rank them.
Is President Obama inspiring you to do anything?
Is he challenging you to do anything?
What do you believe are the challenges of your generation?
How can you be a part of addressing these challenges?

Video Project:

Teachers could encourage students to participate in the U.S. Department of Education’s “I Am What I Learn” video contest.

THERE IS THE POINT! I am what I learn. Like I said, He who controls the Youth, controls the future. If they LEARN to be good little Liberals and Citizens, then THAT is what they will be.

On September 8, the Department of Education will invite students age 13 and older to submit a video no longer than two minutes in length, explaining why education is important and how education will help them achieve their dreams.

Teachers are welcome to incorporate the same or a similar video project into a classroom assignment.

More details will be released via www.ed.gov.

Transition/Quick Review

Teachers could introduce goal-setting activities in the following way to make the most of extension activities:

“When you set a goal, you envision a target that you are going to reach over time. Goals are best when they are “Challenging,” “Attainable,” and “Needed” (CAN).

For example, a good goal might be: ‘I want to boost my average grade by one letter grade this year so I can show colleges that I am prepared.’

But, every good goal also needs steps that guide the way. These steps keep you on track toward achieving your goal.

For example, my first step might be improving in all of my subjects by one letter grade. My second step might be completing 100-percent of my homework in all of my classes during the first week of school.

My third step might be taking an extra hour to study for all of my tests during each marking period. My fourth step might be attending a tutoring session or getting an adult to help me whenever I do not understand something.

My last step might be the most important: asking an adult in my life to check on me often to make sure that I am completing each of my steps.

Your steps should add up to your goal. If they don’t, that’s okay; we fix them until they do!

Let’s hear another example of an academic goal for the year and decide what steps would help to achieve that goal…

Now I want you to write your personal academic goal for this year and the steps that you will take to achieve it.

We can revise our steps each marking period to make sure we are on track.”

Laying a foundation folks.

Extension of the Speech

Teachers could extend learning by having students:

Create decorated goals and steps on material that is the size of an index card.
The index cards could be formatted as an inviting graphic organizer with a space for the goal at the top and several steps in the remaining space.
Cards could be hung in the classroom to create a culture of goal setting, persistence, and success, and for the purpose of periodic review.

Create posters of their goals.

Posters could be formatted in quadrants, puzzle pieces, or trails marked as steps. These also could be hung around the room, to be reviewed periodically and to create a classroom culture of goal setting and for the purpose of periodic review.
Interview and share their goals with one another and the class, establishing community support for their goals.

Create incentives or contests for achieving their personal goals.
Write about goals and the steps to achieve them in a variety of genres such as poems, songs, or personal essays.
Create artistic representations of goals and the steps to achieve them.

So you can CLEARLY see that this was NEVER intended to be a completely harmless Pep Talk by the President to kids about the importance of a good Education. If it were, it would not have all the rest of this garbage. That is where the problem comes in.

No one cares or thinks it bad that the President of the United States wants to share with Kids the importance of Education. But the rest of this is crossing a line that should NEVER be crossed. History shows us where this type of thing leads.

Obama Attacking Israel

Israel is about to say SCREW YOU OBAMA.

Hey folks,

Rightfully so. I would. If I were Israel, I would say SCREW YOU OBAMA! I have documented this over the past few months. Plain and simple, Obama is no friend of Israel. So this one just ticks me off to no end, but is not a surprise either.

According to the AP - US harshly rebukes Israel on settlement plans I also want to make this PERFECTLY Clear. OBAMA harshly rebukes Israel on settlement plans, NOT the US. Most of us here are still FRIENDS with Israel. But here is the piece by MATTHEW LEE, Associated Press

WASHINGTON – Alarmed by Israeli plans to build new housing units in settlements and dimming prospects for American peace efforts, the Obama administration on Friday put out a rare and harsh public rebuke of its main Mideast ally.

The White House said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's settlement plans were "inconsistent" with commitments the Jewish state has made previously and harmful to U.S. attempts to lay the groundwork for a resumption in peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians.

That is because he wants to give EVERYTHING to the Palestinians. What about when Israel DID give up land and the Palestinians moved in and attacked Israel AFTER? Did they live up THEIR commitments?

"United States does not accept the legitimacy of continued settlement expansion and we urge that it stop," White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said in a statement. "We are working to create a climate in which negotiations can take place, and such actions make it harder to create such a climate."

And, if I were Netanyahu, I would say SCREW YOU! Whatever happened to not dictating our will on others?

Netanyahu's aides, speaking on condition of anonymity Friday because the plans have not been formally announced, said any Israeli settlement freeze would not halt building the new units and or block completion of some 2,500 others currently under construction. They also said the freeze would not include east Jerusalem, which the Palestinians hope to make their future capital.

It's NOT THEIR LAND. Sorry Obama. They are also NOT American Black Slaves as you have compared them to.

The unusually blunt White House criticism reflected the administration's growing frustration with Netanyahu, whose decision would approve hundreds of new housing units in West Bank settlements before considering even a temporary freeze in construction, as President Barack Obama has requested.

SO WHAT? Who cares what Obama requested. What has he requested of the Palestinians? Oh yeah, please stop attacking Israel. Let ME give you their land. I forgot. But this does NOT "reflected the administration's growing frustration with Netanyahu," it shows that Obama is anti-Israel. He always has been.

The White House typically refrains from commenting on such moves until they are formally announced. But in this case, U.S. officials said they acted because Mideast peace envoy George Mitchell had already been briefed on the Israeli plans earlier in the week.

State Department spokesman Ian Kelly said Mitchell and the Israelis had been having "a very open dialogue" in "very intense discussions." He would not elaborate.

But one U.S. official familiar with Mitchell's Wednesday meeting in New York with Netanyahu envoy Yitzhak Molcho and Israeli Defense Ministry chief of staff Michael Herzog said the Israelis "told Mitchell they were going to do it and he told them they could expect a sharp response."

Folks, this really is downright scary. We have a President that wants to denounce our Allies and embrace our Enemies. It really is just that simple.

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive diplomatic exchange, said the meeting had "not gone well."

The official added that the White House statement was released before a formal Israeli announcement of Netanyahu's plans because "we wanted to send a strong signal early on."

I hope they send one back. You know what it is.

Publicly, the State Department had described Mitchell's discussion with the Israeli delegation — which came after his talks with Netanyahu a week earlier in London — as a "good meeting."

The department said Mitchell would travel again to the Middle East next week to follow up. That trip is still on, officials said Friday.

"The process will continue," said one. The official also noted that the statement was not entirely negative and expressed appreciation for "Israel's stated intent to place limits on settlement activity."

"We are working with all parties — Israelis, Palestinians, and Arab states — on the steps they must take to achieve that objective," said Gibbs.

Netanyahu's refusal to bend on the settlement issue despite repeated U.S. appeals threatens to damage Obama's credibility in the Arab world. The administration is counting on Arab support for a resumption in Israeli-Palestinian negotiations but will not likely get it unless Netanyahu makes concessions on settlements.

So Israel has to be rebuked to make Muslims happy? IDIOTS!

The Palestinians have said they will not sit down for talks unless there is a settlement freeze and Arab leaders have made similar demands.

Folks, I repeat. We have a President that wants to denounce our Allies and embrace our Enemies. You want to compare someone to American Slaves? Start with the Jews. They have been oppressed longer than ANYONE in the History of the World. From the Roman Empire to the Holocaust to today. But I guess he would rather compare a bunch of terrorists to the American Slaves. In his warped mind, they better relate.

I warned you about this. Israel can no longer rely on the friendship it HAD with the US. They are pretty much on their own. Our President is more worried about keeping his credibility with Muslims, a lot of whom would rather see us destroyed, than he is worried about our greatest Ally ever, in the Middle East.

Astroturfing

It IS an insult. And some are becoming insulted.

Hey folks,

What is Astroturfing? Astroturfing is describing formal Political, Advertising, or Public Relations Campaigns seeking to create the impression of being spontaneous. Basically they are calling any of these Grassroots movements, be they against Obamacare or for Energy Independence, phony.

What they are trying to say is this is just the efforts of a Political or Commercial Entity, such as the Republicans or "Big Oil" to orchestrate the actions of apparently diverse and Geographically distributed Individuals. Common folks. YOU. The general Public. They are saying that YOU are not really upset with any of this, although EVERY Poll shows otherwise, but that you are merely doing this because someone told you to. You are just mindless Robots that will follow your leaders. Be your leaders The Right, people like Rush Limbaugh, or I guess they think "Big Oil."

We already know that they think you are stupid. They basically come right out and say it. "Bitter Clingers," "Fly over country," "Ignorant of facts or reality, just follow what they are told," You know, like a lot of Liber,,,I mean, Progressives, today. But they are saying that these Townhalls, and Energy Rallies are nothing more than an orchestrated show, put on by those that just do not like Obama. You RACIST you!

Why do they feel this way? Do they really think this? Maybe. No Seriously. They may actually believe this BS. Why? THEY DO IT ALL THE TIME! Can you say Moveon.org? Can you say Code Pink? Can you say the Daily Kos? Can you say ACORN? Can you say Cindy Sheehan? Well, OK, you can't talk about her anymore. But you get the point. So they may ACTUALLY believe that you are not really serious, that you are just being lead to do this.

The problem though, for them, is this. Look at the make up of a Progressive Rally. Who's there? Progressives. Look at the Townhalls, and the Energy Rallies. Who's there? Republicans, Independents, Democrats, Christians, Jews, Black, White, Rich and Poor. I hear even the Kitchen Sink has made an appearance. My point is, it IS diverse and Geographically distributed Individuals, all coming together for one thing. To STOP OBAMA and Crew from what they see as HURTING, if not leading to the utter DESTRUCTION, of this very Country.

They can say it is Astroturfing. They can call you Racists. They can say it doesn't matter. However, that is NOT the facts. They can pretend that they do not hear you all they want. But they DO hear you. Their NUMBER ONE GOAL is to be Re-Elected. THAT is totally up to YOU. They HEAR you loud and clear. Do not give up now. Right now in those back rooms, they are talking about you. They are scared to do what the Leadership wants them to do. The Leadership does not care about you. They truly think that they are untouchable. But the rest KNOW differently.

Saying what you are doing at these things is nothing more than Astroturfing is an INSULT to you, and the American Way. Be OFFENDED. Let them know that you are nobody's mindless Robot. Let them know that you are doing these things because they are what you TRULY believe. Also make sure that you leave them with no doubt whatsoever, that it is ALSO the American Way to Vote OUT of office those that most Americans think are doing the wrong thing.

Defending the American Dream

Defending the American Dream
By Jane Van Ryan Friday 4 September 2009
Posted at Energy Tomorrow. Reprinted with Permission.

We all know what Astroturf is on the gridiron, but what does it mean when it's applied to a series of very successful Energy Citizens rallies?

Based on what I've seen at six of the rallies, it is a misapplied term that demeans the spirit and the passion of the people who participated. Simply put, it disses them. And those who disrespect them apparently don't understand the depth of their feelings about the misguided Waxman-Markey bill.

Look at the facts. So far 18 rallies have been held in 17 states. More than 12,000 people from all walks of life have attended. Many were seniors who told me they heard about the rally on the radio or through a phone call from a friend. Others included laborers, truckers, farmers, homemakers, small business people, veterans, and the unemployed. A contingent of energy workers attended about four of the rallies. Were they bused in? In some cases, yes. And it was safer and more fuel efficient for them to travel by bus than to drive to the rallies in their private cars.

About 250 national and local organizations are sponsoring the rallies. They include associations that represent a broad spectrum of interests. API is one of the founding members, but is not the only one that is helping to provide forums where citizens can come together.

No one has been forced to attend. No one has been paid to attend. People come to the rallies because they choose to be there. And nearly everyone in attendance has wanted to lend his or her voice to the rising tide of concern that's welling up all over America about the Waxman-Markey climate bill.

This bill, if passed by the U.S. Senate, could hurt consumers all over America. Multiple studies have shown that it would reduce the ability of families to pay their bills and put food on the table. In Alaska, for example, the Waxman-Markey bill would reduce the purchasing power of the average household by about $325 a month. The bill also would put two million Americans out of work, and that's after you factor in the creation of green jobs. Waxman-Markey also would increase energy costs for everyone, pushing gasoline costs up by 58 percent, according to one study.

Do Americans have the right to be worried about the impact of the Waxman-Markey bill? Yes. Is it appropriate to throw verbal stones at them and accuse them of being part of a so-called Astroturf campaign? No.

The Waxman-Markey bill could have far-reaching effects on the quality of life in America. The organizations and the people who have been involved the rallies understand that and are defending the American Dream. They deserve respect for standing up for their point-of-view.

Cows Farting? Feed Them Seaweed

Combined YCMTSU and The Health and Science Segments.

Hey folks,

This is just to funny to pass up. You know how the Envionuts and the Chicken Little Crowd has determined the CO2 is now a pollutant that is helping to destroy the planet? Then we have various studies that say a Cow Farting causes more CO2 to be released into the Atmosphere than hundreds of cars? Well, now they think they may have a solution. Seaweed.

According to the AFP - Australia 'reef and beef' project launced I think they mean Launched

SYDNEY (AFP) – An Australian scientist Friday launched what he called a "reef and beef" study into whether feeding cows seaweed would reduce their flatulent carbon emissions, in a move that could help save the Great Barrier Reef.

So Cows farting is now going to destroy the Great Barrier Reef?

Tony Parker, from James Cook University, said cattle produced up to 20 percent of global man-made methane emissions, and the problem was largely linked to their diet.

How in the blue hell is cows farting MAN-MADE?

At least 50 percent of these cows lived in developing nations, many of which were in the tropics, where the quality of pasture tended to deteriorate in the winter, increasing emissions, Parker said.

"Seaweed, algae and other sea grasses have been proven to be much more digestible than land grass because they have less cellulose and more starch," added Parker's research partner Rocky de Nys.

"A better diet for cattle, then, will encourage better digestion and thus lead to a decrease in methane emissions."

So forget the Cattle keeping the fields clean, the Farmers that farm Hay from making a living and HOW MUCH will WHO make in harvesting the Seaweed, shipping it, and selling it to Cow Farmers? Or whatever you call the people who raise Cows.

Methane gas from livestock accounts for about 12 percent of Australia's annual greenhouse emissions, with flatulence from 120 million sheep, cows and goats comprising its third-largest source of damaging gases.

SAYS WHO? How did they come to such a decisive figure?

The average beef cow expels the equivalent of around 1,500 kilograms (3,300 pounds) of carbon per year.

AGAIN?

The scientists said that using seaweed as cattle fodder could also have wider benefits for the environment, by providing coastal farmers with a way to clean waterways that flowed into the Great Barrier Reef.

Uh, they could not clean them before? I know many people who actually EAT Seaweed themselves. I guess that will be one less Carbon Credit that they have to buy for themselves.

Seaweed could be used to clear nitrogen and phosphorous from farming water, but few farmers adopted the method because they were left with "a huge biomass that they don't know what to do with," De Nys said.

He said those nutrients were partly responsible for the breakdown of aquatic ecosystems within the iconic Barrier Reef, which authorities warned this week faced significant threats from climate change and farming runoff.

"I like to call it the 'reef and beef' project because it has far reaching implications that come full circle: starting with seaweed, taking in the beef and aquaculture industries, and extending back out to the sea to help conserve the Great Barrier Reef," added Parker.

Australia's centre-left government has committed to reducing emissions by at least five percent of 2000 levels by 2020, including the introduction by 2011 of a carbon trading scheme.

{Laughing} SCHEME is right.

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has committed to deeper cuts of up to 25 percent if world leaders agree on an "ambitious" reduction plan at Copenhagen in December.

So there you go folks. If your Cow is farting to much, just feed it Seaweed. I can see Al Gore talking to people right now, "How can I get in on that? We'll call it 'Off Sets Of The Sea.'"

IWA for Sunday 090609

Pot calling the Kettle Black.

Hey folks,

It's time to wrap up this fully loaded Sunday Edition with the IWA. This weeks winner, did get one thing right.

"Now, I will say this. I can be an asshole."

Yes. Yes indeed you are. I mean, can be. Of course I'm talking about Van Jones, the Obama Administration's "Green Jobs" Czar. You know, the one, like so many others in the Obama Crew that DO nothing but collect paychecks, that called Republicans "Assholes."

He made the remarks in February during an Energy Lecture, AKA Waxman Markey, AKA Cap and Tax, in Berkeley, Calif., after a Woman in the audience asked him why President Obama and Congressional Democrats, AKA LWL {Left Wing Loons} were having trouble moving legislation, AKA Passing Socialistic and Fascist agendas, even though Republicans, with a smaller Majority, didn't have as much trouble earlier in the Bush Administration. Here is the Video

Now of course, after it was made Public, he apologized.

"I apologize for the offensive words I chose to use during that speech," Jones said in a written statement to Politico. "They do not reflect the views of this Administration, which has made every effort to work in a bipartisan fashion, and they do not reflect the experience I have had since I joined the Administration."

Nah, you were right the first time.

"Now, I will say this. I can be an asshole."

Pot, Kettle? Of course the State Run Mainstream Media Drones, have and will ignore this, and since he apologized, all will be fine. Congratulations Van Jones, for showing your intelligence level, and actually attempting to INCITE Violence, YES YOU DID. You did when you said this.

"Now, I will say this. I can be an asshole, and some of us who are not Barack Hussein Obama are going to have to start getting a little bit uppity," he said.

Get a bit uppity? Like the Black Panthers attempting to Intimidate people at Townhalls? Like biting older peoples fingers off? Like attempting to FAKE Vandalization? That kind of Uppity? Oh hows that Communism thing working out for ya? We know you are a Communist. An ACTUAL Communist. A former, if not current, member of the Communist Party. Now wonder why Obama pick you to join his unprecedented Czar positions.

UPDATE: Idiot quits.

AP - Obama 'green jobs' adviser quits amid controversy By WILL LESTER (AP) – 42 minutes ago

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama's environmental adviser Van Jones, who became embroiled in a controversy over past inflammatory statements, has resigned his White House job after what he calls a "vicious smear campaign against me."

The resignation, announced early Sunday, came as Obama is working to regain his footing in the contentious health care debate.

Jones, an administration official specializing in environmentally friendly "green jobs" with the White House Council on Environmental Quality was linked to efforts suggesting a government role in the 2001 terror attacks and to derogatory comments about Republicans.

Jones issued an apology on Thursday for his past statements. When asked the next day whether Obama still had confidence in him, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said only that Jones "continues to work in the administration."

The matter surfaced after news reports of a derogatory comment Jones made in the past about Republicans, and separately, of Jones's name appearing on a petition connected to the events surrounding the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks. That 2004 petition had asked for congressional hearings and other investigations into whether high-level government officials had allowed the attacks to occur.

"On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me," Jones said in his resignation statement. "They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide."

NO! I posted a Video of YOU! YOU saying what YOU SAID, in YOUR own words. There are no lies nor deception there. Well, other than the fact you possess ANY Intelligence whatsoever. That WOULD be a lie.

No Mr. Jones, you are nothing more than an Ignorant Radical that Obama was hoping to use to further his agenda. All you did was show people who you really are. Just like Obama and the rest of his Crew, when people find out WHO and WHAT they are, they will be asked to leave as well. So sorry, so sad, SEE YA!

Food Cost To Go Up, SS To Stay The Same

If Cap and Tax Passes, it will be even worse.

Hey folks,

Just this past Friday, From the Emails, I posted this. Government Priorities? Yes, the Government can spend billions, bailing out, or taking over is closer to the truth, Multi-Billion dollar Private Industries, yet, for our Senior Citizens, those that have worked their whole life, contributing to society, they get nothing. No Social Security "Cost of Living" raise at all for the next two years.

Well, Irish Godfather sent me a follow up of sorts. Just because the Obama Administration doesn't care to increase SS, in some cases the only income our Seniors have, that does not mean the cost of EVERYTHING else will NOT go up. It will. According to ALL BUSINESS - USDA'S 2009 food price increase forecast at 4-5 percent.

Publication: Food & Drink Weekly

Higher meat prices, driven by escalating grain prices, will fuel an increase of 4 to 5 percent in U.S. food prices in 2009, the third consecutive year of large increases, USDA forecast last week. Food prices are estimated to rise by 5 percent this year, the largest annual increase since 1990. They rose by 4 percent in 2007.

In its first estimate for 2009, USDA said food prices would be led by red meat and poultry, which account for 10 percent of food spending. Beef prices will rise by 6.5 percent, it estimated, and pork and poultry by 5.5 percent. USDA economist Ephraim Leibtag, who prepared the forecast, said higher feed costs "will impact the meat industry, supplies and production will tighten, and prices will rise."

For this year, the biggest price increases are forecast for eggs, up 14 percent, cereals and bakery products, up 9.5 percent, and fats and oils, up 12 percent. In that group, cereals and bakery products are the largest component of the food basket, 7.4 percent of overall spending. All would moderate in 2009, rising at 4 percent or less.

The USDA also sees the food-inflation rate slowing slightly from this year. The agency expects the food consumer-price index to climb between 4.5 percent and 5.5 percent in 2008, which would be the highest food-inflation rate since 1990. That is despite the Bureau of Labor Statistics report last week that its food-price index jumped 6.8 percent during the first six months of this year at a seasonally adjusted annualized rate.

While prices have been rising in the United Stats and Europe, the biggest increases are being felt in Asia, and countries like India and Vietnam already have to deal with double-digit inflation. Sharp rises in global food and oil prices are now spilling over into wages and broader measures of inflation across Asia, as the Asian Development Bank noted in a report released Tuesday.

Higher inflation in Asia is also starting to contribute to higher prices in the United States. According to the Labor Department, prices for imports from Pacific Rim countries--mostly Asian goods--rose 2.7 percent in the 12 months through June, after falling 1.4 percent in the preceding 12 months.

Asia's central bankers, who are preparing for their annual gathering July 28 in Shanghai, have been unable to develop a united response to deal with the worst inflation threat in at least a decade. That is because most central banks in Asia have been reluctant to give up any of their economic independence or challenge the United States by coordinating their monetary and currency policies, even as they fret about rising prices

Then of course if you throw in there, Cap and Tax, all the Global Warming Bunk, and the continued out of control Spending by the Looney Leadership, you will see energy costs, Food Prises, and EVERYTHING else climb in costs that are out of reach of some folks in this country.

This is NOT just Politics. This is NOT just Obama Bashing Rhetoric. This is FACT. Look at what happened when Gas Prices rose to over $4.00 a gallon. Remember that? The cost of EVERYTHING ELSE went up as well. If it cost more for your local Supermarket or Big Box Stores to get things delivered to them, they will charge YOU more to get the items. If it costs the Energy Companies more to produce the Energy, they will charge YOU more to receive it.

It really is simple to understand folks. They do NOT CARE about older people. They said so. They do NOT CARE about the poor or the Middle Class. Those are the ones that will be hurt the most. They only attack the Rich, because THEY are a cash cow for them. Not for you. Contrary to what they may want you to believe, they are NOT going to take from Peter to give to Paul. They are going to take from Peter, and KEEP IT. Paul will pay even MORE than Peter, because Paul has much less to spend.

This is why I keep telling you folks, just like the GWBS and the Carbon Credit Scam, it does not effect those with the resources to PAY for it. But it DOES effect you. Let me try to explain this again.

Cap and Tax = Carbon Credits, Higher Energy costs that will effect all prices.

1 - The Rich? They do not care. If they have Millions or Billions, what do they care if they have to pay a few grand or even a few hundred grand? They will continue to live as they chose.

2- Those that live paycheck to paycheck? The Poor? Those that have very little left over at the end of the month? They can NOT Pay to play, so THEY will be forced to change there lifestyles, become dependant on Government, or just go away and die.

Higher Food Prices? Inflation?

1- The Rich? So what. If I have to pay $20 to $30 bucks for a steak, I'm still going to eat it.

2- EVERYONE Else? Can you say Food Riots? Can you say Food Stamps?

Obamacare?

1- The Rich? Such as those in Congress? Get whatever medical treatment they want.

2- Everyone else? The Government will decide who gets what and they will make that decision based solely on cost. Old people, just take a pill and die. Poor people? Stop having babies. Or we will STOP you from having babies.

The FACTS are really pretty clear folks. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE OLD OR THE POOR! They WANT you dependant on the Government for EVERYTHING. They WANT power and control over every aspect of your lives. They WANT an America that THEY control and YOU are nothing but pawns. Old folks do not contribute all that much anymore, so in their view, they need to go away. It really is JUST that simple.

Back To Basics For Obama On Obamacare

He will be trying what got him elected.

Hey folks,

What got Obama elected? "Hope and Change." His ability to give a GREAT speech and say nothing at the same time. His ability to rev up a crowd and energize people into believing that he is standing up for them. His ability to make people believe in the "Dream."

During the Election, Obama showed us just how good he is at showmanship. He could and still can, get the masses to believe that he is sincere and that he cares about what he is saying. He makes people FEEL like they are part of the solution and that they are important to him.

The problem though, as is WELL documented, you need a playbook to keep up with what he says Why? Because it changes on a daily bases. It all depends on who he is talking to at the time. Just ask the Gay community. Just ask the anti-War crowd. Just ask the independents that took the chance and Voted for the guy. A growing number of people on all sides of the Political Spectrum are starting to doubt, not only if he was sincere, but if he can deliver on all the things he said. Some are even starting to see him for what he truly is.

But those that are pushing Obamacare, are HOPING that there is still a little magic left in the old Obama Speech giving ability. This time, to trick enough people into accepting Obamacare. To get enough people to believe that it is something that it is not.

According to the AP - Obama may get more specific about health overhaul By CHARLES BABINGTON, Associated Press Writer Charles Babington, Associated Press Writer – 47 mins ago

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama has talked a lot about health care lately, but some allies say he has been too vague. Now he's thinking of throwing more details and personal weight into the debate, which polls indicate Republicans have been winning in recent weeks.

Faced with falling approval ratings and increasingly impatient with Senate negotiations, Obama is considering a speech in the next week or so in which he would be "more prescriptive" about what he feels Congress must include in a health bill, top adviser David Axelrod said Tuesday in an interview.

The speech might occur before the Sept. 15 deadline the White House gave Senate negotiators to seek a bipartisan bill, Axelrod said. He suggested that two key Republicans have not bargained in good faith.

Translation, those that they THOUGHT were bought off, are now starting to waver.

Congress reconvenes next Tuesday after an August recess in which critics of Obama's health proposals dominated many public forums.

Some Obama allies feel he gave too much leeway to Congress, where one bill has passed three House committees, another has passed a Senate committee and a third has been bogged down in protracted negotiations in the Senate Finance Committee.

Axelrod indicated that Obama would not offer new proposals but would be more specific about his top priorities.

"The ideas are all there on the table," Axelrod said. "Now we are in a new phase, and it's time to pull the strands of these together."

Translation again "We need to start to change the language to attempt to get you people out there to believe that it is NOT what it is. We will call it something else, and call certain provisions something else, to attempt to trick you into believing that it is NOT what those that read these things told you it is."

He said there is serious discussion in the White House of Obama "giving a speech that lays out in specific ways what he thinks" about the essential elements of a health care bill.

In other words, hope he can rev up the crowds and get them to accept it just because Obama delivers a great speech. Look for a personal story or two, Bush blaming, and him to attempt to make YOU feel important. You can be part of history, ETC.

Axelrod said it was possible that the speech could occur before a planned Sept. 15 Obama address on health care in Pittsburgh.

Obama has called for innovations such as a public health insurance plan to compete with private insurers, but he has not insisted on it. It was not clear Tuesday the degree to which he might press for various proposals in a new speech.

Obama also plans to meet with Democratic congressional leaders when lawmakers reconvene next week.

Axelrod condemned recent comments by two chief Senate Republican negotiators — Charles Grassley of Iowa and Mike Enzi of Wyoming — who have sharply criticized key elements of Democrats' health care plans even as they insisted that a workable bipartisan plan was possible.

Their remarks, Axelrod said, "were not exactly consistent with good-faith negotiations."

{Laughing} Because they told you the TRUTH. Remember, I told you about them. Proponent For Obamacare Now Opponent What they are upset about is this.

Delivering the Republicans' weekly radio and Internet address, Enzi said any health care legislation must lower medical costs for Americans without increasing deficits and the national debt.

"The bills introduced by congressional Democrats fail to meet these standards," he said.

He also said this.

"I heard a lot of frustration and anger as I traveled across my home state this last few weeks," said Enzi, who has been targeted by critics for seeking to negotiate on legislation. "People in Wyoming and across the country are anxious about what Washington has in mind. This is big. This is personal. This is one of the most important debates of our lifetime."

But that is not suppose to happen. The PEOPLE are suppose to just lay down and accept whatever Obama and Crew want to do. Back to the AP

In an August fundraising letter, Grassley asked people for "support in helping me defeat Obama-care." He said Democratic-drafted bills would be "a pathway to a government takeover of the health care system."

REALLY? Good.

Enzi, in a radio address Saturday, said Democratic proposals would restrict medical choices and make the country's "finances sicker without saving you money."

The two men are part of a six-senator, bipartisan negotiating team that also includes GOP Sen. Olympia Snowe of Maine. Hopes for a workable bipartisan plan have dimmed in recent weeks, and Axelrod's comments were the most dismissive yet from a White House official.

Dismissive, arrogant, whatever. Normal Liberal playbook.

Congress' August recess was brutal for Obama and his allies, as lawmakers faced raucous crowds denouncing Democrats' health proposals. When Congress comes back Tuesday, Democratic leaders hope to change the dynamic by holding quiet, closed-door sessions with nervous colleagues and arguing that far-reaching health care changes can be good politics as well as good policy.

{Laughing} Closed door, back room, deal cutting, meetings. "You will do this or else. Forget the people. WE can give you this or that. WE are in control, and YOU will know your role and Vote for this."

They also hope GOP-led opposition has peaked. But that's far from clear, and Republicans are eager to hand Obama his first major defeat.

IT'S NOT REPUBLICANS! I grow so tired of saying this. It is CLEAR, that MOST Americans, regardless of age, Race, Creed, or Political Affiliation, are AGAINST this. People from ALL walks of life are showing up for the Townhalls. Sorry guys, you can not demonize the Republicans on this one. NOBODY wants this. Well, accept for some brainwashed Sheeple and the Kooks.

A new CNN/Opinion Research poll found that 53 percent of Americans disapproved of Obama's handling of health care, while 44 percent approved. In March, far more people had approved than disapproved.

Liberal groups have held hundreds of events in a bid to show that a robust overhaul is more popular than August's news reports would suggest.

Staging shows will NOT change the FACTS.

The message lawmakers will hear when they return to Washington "will be very different than what they heard when August started," said Jacki Schechner of Health Care for America Now. One idea her group will stress, she said, is that the politically smart vote, even in toss-up districts, will support widespread changes meant to expand health insurance coverage and options.

Nervous Democratic lawmakers need to be told, "You got elected to do something," she said. "And you might get re-elected if you actually do something."

With Obamacare, YOU WON'T GET RE-ELECTED. They KNOW this. That is their problem.

Republicans approach Labor Day feeling upbeat about the ground they gained during the August recess. Some are confident that no amount of closed-door hand-holding of nervous Democratic lawmakers will reverse the momentum.

"After a disastrous month at home, the fact that Democrats' new health care strategy is to hide in Washington from the people who elected them to get health care passed shows what bad shape they're in," said Antonia Ferrier, spokeswoman for House Republican leader John Boehner of Ohio.

ABSOLUTELY Right! Well said as well. Folks, do not let up. The LWL {Left Wing Loons} can threaten, promise, or SAY whatever they want to those on the Fence for Voting for Obamacare. However, it is STILL YOU that has the final say next Election on who stays and who goes.

Truthfully, I would not be all that surprised if they actually find a way to postpone this until AFTER the 2010 election to see what happens. If they do, and they stay in power, then this will all but be guaranteed to pass no matter what the feelings on the matter are at that time. We must stop this for good. We must KILL Obamacare, before Obamacare can start killing us. Literally.

Video Of Judge Being Bribed 3 Million Dollars

From the Energy Front 090109

Hey folks,

A while back, back on May 25, 2009 to be exact, I posted this. Chevron's Ecuadorian Battle, More At Stake Than You Think I told you this.

"Now I know some of you are sitting back, even after watching the Video, saying, OK. This is interesting, but why should I care? How does any of this effect me? It is going to effect you in ways that you can not even imagine. This is nothing more than attempt, riddled with corruption, to shake down the Chevron Corporation for 27 Billion dollars for something they have no hand in. But that does not matter. They want to put the blame on them and charge them with all these environmental travesties. However, what will this case ACTUALLY do?

A- This will set a prescient that can and will be used in the future to redistribute wealth. An excuse to steal Chevron and other Oil Companies profits. In the name of saving the planet.

B- Will also allow them {The Lawyers, Judges, and Government} more power to control NEW Drilling in different locations. They can then say, "look what happened in Ecuador, we can not have this 'here.'" Wherever here may be.

C- Make the Lawyers and Government a lot of money.

D- Make a take over by the Government even more palatable to the American Sheeple, uh, People. This can be done the same way as the replacement of the Moritoria, and or stopping Drilling already in progress. 'Look what happened in Ecuador, we can not allow the Oil Companies to do whatever they want and make this insane amount of profit while destroying the Environment, so we will take over the industry, and they will do whatever we tell them to do.'"

Well? I just got this yesterday.

"I hope you are well my friend. I wanted to bring something to your attention. Today, Chevron provided authorities in Ecuador and the U.S. with video recordings that reveal a $3 million bribery scheme implicating the judge presiding over the environmental lawsuit currently pending against Chevron. In the videos, the judge confirms that he will rule against Chevron and that appeals by the energy company will be denied. Please take a look at the video(s) and the related materials and let me know if you have any questions."

Videos Reveal Serious Judicial Misconduct and Political Influence in Ecuador

Lawsuit Chevron Calls for Investigation, Disqualification of Judge in Ecuador Case

SAN RAMON, Calif., Aug. 31, 2009 - Chevron Corp. (NYSE:CVX) today provided authorities in Ecuador and the U.S. with video recordings that reveal a $3 million bribery scheme implicating the judge presiding over the environmental lawsuit currently pending against the company and individuals who identify themselves as representatives of the Ecuadorian government and its ruling party.

In the videos, the judge confirms that he will rule against Chevron and that appeals by the energy company will be denied — even though the trial is ongoing and evidence is still being received. A purported party official also states that lawyers from the executive branch have been sent to assist the judge in writing the decision.

The recorded meetings also show an individual who claims to be a representative of Ecuador's ruling political party, Alianza PAIS, seeking $3 million in bribes in return for handing out environmental remediation contracts to two businessmen after the verdict is handed down. Of that sum, he said $1 million would go to Judge Juan Núñez, $1 million would go to "the presidency" and $1 million to the plaintiffs.

The video-taped meetings occurred in May and June of 2009. Two of the meetings took place at the Quito offices of Alianza PAIS, one meeting took place in the judge's chambers in Lago Agrio, and a second meeting involving the judge took place in a Quito hotel.

After referring the evidence of the scheme to authorities, Chevron Executive Vice President Charles James said that company lawyers will seek the disqualification of the judge in the case and annulment of his prior rulings.

"Chevron has consistently asserted that the case has involved improper complicity between the plaintiffs and Ecuador's executive branch and other legal irregularities," James said. "These video recordings raise additional serious questions about corruption, executive branch interference and prejudgment of the case that demand a full investigation. No judge who has participated in meetings of the type shown on these tapes could possibly deliver a legitimate decision."

Evidence of the bribery plot was brought to Chevron's attention in June by an Ecuadorian, who was pursuing business opportunities in Ecuador with an American businessman. The Ecuadorian, Diego Borja, has performed work for Chevron as a logistics contractor. Borja also has a relative who works as a contractor to Chevron. The American, Wayne Hansen, has no relationship to Chevron. Since the time that the recordings came into Chevron's possession, the company has made extensive efforts to authenticate and preserve the information.

Borja and Hansen recorded their meetings in Ecuador without Chevron's knowledge, and neither man was paid to provide the recordings to Chevron. Because of concern for Borja's safety, Chevron has assisted him and his family with relocation expenses and other interim support.

"We are calling upon Ecuadorian authorities to conduct a full investigation of this matter — focusing not only on the conduct of Judge Núñez, but also on the very serious indications of political interference in this case," James said. "Given the highly sensitive nature of this information and our concerns about the rule of law in Ecuador, we felt compelled to put this entire matter into the public domain as a check against retaliation or further unlawful conduct as it relates to the case there. We also believe that public disclosure will encourage a deeper investigation of these matters by appropriate officials within Ecuador."

On May 11, Borja and Hansen attended a meeting at the Quito offices of Alianza PAIS where they were introduced to Patricio Garcia, who represented himself as an official with the party. Later, Garcia arranged for Borja and Hansen to fly to Lago Agrio for a May 15 meeting with Judge Núñez. During the meeting, held in the judge's chambers and recorded by Borja and Hansen, Judge Núñez stated that the government of Ecuador, not the plaintiffs, would receive the funds earmarked for remediation produced by the judgment against Chevron.

Subsequently, Borja and Hansen met with Judge Núñez at a Quito hotel on June 5. Attending the meeting was Juan Pablo Novoa, who represented himself as legal counsel for government officials.

During the meeting, Judge Núñez answered a series of questions about the case from the businessmen, who were seeking assurances the court proceedings would generate business. Novoa stated that "we have the political power" to direct remediation contracts and stressed the judge "is generating the work through the ruling." Novoa added, "The offer from the people in the government that I represent, I'm a delegate of them, so I'm accompanying the judge so that you can be serious about the case."

Judge Núñez confirmed that he would be issuing a ruling, the appeal would be a formality and the government would be handling the funds associated with remediation contracts. In a final exchange with the businessmen before the meeting ended, Judge Núñez revealed how he was planning to handle his ruling:

Núñez: "Any other questions for me as a judge?"

Hansen: "Oh no, I, I know clearly how it is, you say, Chevron is the guilty party?"

Núñez: "Yes Sir."

Hansen: "And the, the, the act (decision) is October or November of this year?"

Núñez: "Yes Sir."

Hansen: "And it's …?"

Núñez: "No later than January."

Hansen: "January 2010. And the money is twenty-seven (billion dollars)?"

Núñez: "It might be less, and it might be more."

The last recorded meeting regarding the bribes, in which Judge Núñez was not present, occurred June 22 at the Alianza PAIS office in Quito. During the meeting, Garcia confirmed the details of the bribe:

Borja: "OK. Of the three million … one million is for the judge?"

Garcia: "Yes."

Borja: "One million for the presidency …?"

Garcia: "Yes."

Borja: "And one million for the plaintiffs?"

Garcia: "Yes, that's right."

Borja: "But for the plaintiffs, who gets the money, man? Fajardo?"

Garcia: "No. On this matter, we're going to handle it here."

Borja: "You mean Alianza PAIS would receive the payment here?"

Garcia: "Right."

So again, I know that some of you are still saying this will have no effect on you. For the reasons stated above, I beg to differ. The problem though is the fact that this prescient is attempting to be set through fraud and bribery. The Facts of this case do not even put Chevron IN Ecuador at the time of the "problems" and the facts PROVES that it was none other than the Ecuadorian Government Controlled Oil Company that caused the pollution and damages. Yet, as you can clearly see, it is Chevron that they are going after. Why? "Deep Pockets" and an opportunity to use this to further attack other Energy Companies.

But if you REALLY want to talk about environmental violations? BE RIGHT BACK!
