Is this a good thing? Or is it not?

I know, I know, some of you look at what I have been saying about Iran over the years and think I'm a Hawk. I love War. I love force. I think that the only answer to a threat against us is Force. This is really not true. I, like my more Liberal Friends HATE War. I HATE the fact that we need to use force. I join the Beatles in saying Imagine a World with no War. With no Hate. With no Guns. But I do live in Reality.

There are still places on this Planet where they have no Idea whatsoever what TV is. What A Car is. Hell, what Cloths are. But they do understand that the people in the next Village over have something they want, so they attempt to take it by force using Sticks and Rocks. The People in the Next Village over understand that if they wish to continue to possess what they have, and if they want to continue to live, they will have to defend it with force. So they DO.

People all through out History have waged War. Just because YOU may not want to engage in War, doesn't mean that they will just play Nice. There are people in this World that want NOTHING from us, but our Death. Iran wants nothing from us or our Friends but our Death. They do not want Land, Money, or even just our Respect. They want us DEAD. The only thing they understand is FORCE.

So I understand, although still not sure I understand the Need for THOUSANDS of them, but I understand the NEED of having a Nuclear Bomb. I understand the Necessity of having a Strong Military. I understand the NEED of the use of Force in certain circumstances. But I also understand the need of having something else in our arsenal. The WILL to use it.

So whenever I see a story like this, I wonder, if our Enemies do not believe we have the WILL to use them, does it matter? Is this a good thing? Or is it not? WASHINGTON — The Pentagon on Thursday held a successful test flight of a flying bomb that travels faster than the speed of sound and will give military planners the ability to strike targets anywhere in the world in less than a hour.

Launched by rocket from Hawaii at 1130 GMT, the "Advanced Hypersonic Weapon," or AHW, glided through the upper atmosphere over the Pacific "at hypersonic speed" before hitting its target on the Kwajalein atoll in the Marshall Islands, a Pentagon statement said.

Kwajalein is about 2,500 miles (4,000 kilometers) southwest of Hawaii. The Pentagon did not say what top speeds were reached by the vehicle, which unlike a ballistic missile is maneuverable.

Scientists classify hypersonic speeds as those that exceed Mach 5 -- or five times the speed of sound -- 3,728 miles (6,000 kilometers) an hour.

That's pretty cool. Imagine a Plane traveling that fast. 3,728 miles an hour? So now we have a Bomb that does so. That can hit anywhere in the World in one hour or less.

The test aimed to gather data on "aerodynamics, navigation, guidance and control, and thermal protection technologies," said Lieutenant Colonel Melinda Morgan, a Pentagon spokeswoman.

The US Army's AHW project is part of the "Prompt Global Strike" program which seeks to give the US military the means to deliver conventional weapons anywhere in the world within an hour.

On August 11, the Pentagon test flew another hypersonic glider dubbed HTV-2, which is capable of flying 27,000 kilometers per hour, but it was a failure.

The AHW's range is less than that of the HTV-2, the Congressional Research Service said in a report, without providing specifics.

The Pentagon has invested 239.9 million dollars in the Global Strike program this year, including 69 million for the flying bomb tested Thursday, CRS said.

So we spent $69 Million for this ONE Test Flight of this new Bomb? Now our Enemies know that if they show signs of attacking us, we could blow them to Smithereens before they could get their plans going. Great. But do they believe that we have the WILL to use it? It does no good to have it, if your Enemy KNOWS that you would never use it. With our current Commander and Chief, they don't fear that WILL.

The World is getting more and more Dangerous. Shariah Law and the Muslim Brotherhood is on a March throughout the Middle East. With Obama's help by the way. Little Hitler is one of the Main Possible Future Leaders of the entire Middle East. He is Building a Nuclear Bomb. Russian Warships are in Syria.

Lets not forget about Putin's quest to bring aback the old USSR. His taken back of old Russian Territories and seemingly wishing for another Cold War with US. Let's not forget about North Korea. While all this is going on, it is a good thing that our Enemies know we now have a new weapon in our arsenal. But do they FEAR we will ever use it? With Obama? The sad answer is NO.

Iran Still Lying

FORWARD OPERATING BASE CALDWELL, Iraq (CNN) -- Although America's top general in Iraq called al Qaeda the wolf closest to the sled, he said sectarian fighting among militias fueled by Iran could be the biggest long-term challenge for Iraq.

Gen. David Petraeus, in an interview with CNN's Jim Clancy near the Iranian border in Diyala province, said, Militias could potentially be the long-term problem for Iraq, if you assume that we can continue to make progress against al Qaeda, Petraeus said.

He said he is in a show-me mode, waiting to see if Iran honors a pledge to stop the flow of arms, money and training from Iran into Iraq that has helped both Shiite and Sunni militants.

Al Qaeda remains the wolf closest to the sled, if you will. The enemy that is always bent on reigniting sectarian violence, causing the most horrific casualties, damaging the infrastructure in the most difficult way. So you cannot lose focus on al Qaeda.

But, Petraeus added, there was no question that Iranian arms were ending up in the hands of the Iraqi militias and there was no debate that six Iranians detained by the U.S. military in northern Iraq are Iranian Quds force members, the Iranian unit accused by the United States of training and arming insurgents.

There's no question, absolutely no question that Iran is providing advanced RPGs [rocket-propelled grenades], RPG 29s, Petraeus said.

It has provided some shoulder-fired, Stinger-like air-defense missiles. It has provided the explosively formed projectiles and it has provided 244 mm rockets, in addition to mortars, mortar rounds and other small-arms ammunition.

Iran's foreign minister said on Saturday France's call for EU sanctions against Tehran outside of the U.N. framework was illegal and the Islamic Republic would not back away from its nuclear ambitions.

French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner sent a letter to his European Union counterparts this week, appealing to the 27-nation bloc to take a lead in widening financial sanctions on Iran, which the West accuses of seeking to build atomic bombs.

Which IS what they are doing.

Kouchner sparked controversy last month by saying the world should prepare for the possibility of war with Iran over its atomic program, prompting Tehran to summon France's charge d'affaires in protest. Iran says its plans are peaceful.

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, speaking on a talk show on state television, described Kouchner's letter as baseless and said he would respond with his own letter.

"I will soon, in the next few days, send him a letter and will send a copy of it to his European counterparts, the foreign ministers of the European Union, and will remind (them) how illogical and illegal comments by Mr Kouchner were," he said.

"They should receive one clear message and that is that on this issue Iran's right (to obtain nuclear technology) cannot be traded. This is not something that anyone in the Islamic Republic will retreat from."

Kouchner's letter called on the EU to start exploring sanctions now, suggesting the bloc initially add Iranian banking firms and officials to its list of asset freezes and visa bans.

Six major powers last week delayed a U.N. vote on tougher sanctions on Iran until late November at the earliest. Russia, which holds a veto in the U.N. Security Council, backed the case for more negotiations with Tehran.

More useless talks.

The U.N. Security Council has slapped two rounds of sanctions on Iran for failing to halt uranium enrichment, the part of Iran's program that most worries the West because the process can make fuel for power plants or material for bombs.

The United States, which has been at the forefront of efforts to isolate Iran, has already imposed sanctions of its own in addition to the measures taken by the United Nations. Washington has urged European states to follow suit.

So far, it hasn’t worked. Nor will it.

France can count on support from Britain for EU sanctions and Germany has indicated it would cautiously back such a step but Prime Minister Romano Prodi signaled Rome would resist an attempt to formulate EU sanctions outside the United Nations.

Gordon Brown has agreed to support US air strikes against Iran if the Islamic republic orchestrates large-scale attacks by militants against British or American forces in Iraq, according to senior Pentagon officials.

Washington sources say the Prime Minister has been informed of US plans to launch limited air and special forces raids against Revolutionary Guard bases.

We need to send a message to Little Hitler.

After talks with President George W Bush in July, Mr Brown left US officials with the belief that Britain was on board for a military response — but only if Iran was proved to be behind a big militant attack or another stunt similar to the kidnapping in March of British sailors.

The US wants Britain's Special Air Service Regiment to take part in special forces raids inside Iran and has requested help from the Royal Navy to combat Iranian retaliation in the Gulf. But no decisions have been made.

Mr Brown made clear to Mr Bush that he would not support a campaign to destroy Iran's nuclear programme and bring about regime change in Teheran.

But Pentagon officials say he did indicate he would be prepared to back strikes in certain circumstances.

This will most likely be attacked by the LWL and some in Congress when it becomes widely known. More of the same old, “We just need to talk with them. We need to work together to find a compromise. We need a diplomatic solution.” More garbage and waste of time. Nothing sends the message like a bomb put in the right place. They, the terrorist, know this all to well. This is what will get their attention. Talks and more talks have done, and will continue to do NOTHING.

Vincent Cannistraro, a former White House intelligence chief in close contact with senior Pentagon officials, said: The British understand there's a possible need to strike — not strategic bombing of nuclear sites but facilities in Iran in support of Iraqi elements. This understanding was reached shortly after Brown took office.

The suggestion that Mr Brown has discussed air strikes will anger critics who believe Tony Blair was too quick to approve military action against Iraq.

A Downing Street spokesman said: While we won't comment on the specifics of conversations between the Prime Minister and the President of the United States, this is not a version of events we recognise.

A source close to Mr Brown said the two had talked about Iran but we have not had this conversation

Why should they let the terrorists know exactly what we are planing. Unlike here, they do not have people like those at the NYT that like to share top secret information with our enemies. But people here really need to wake up. Really need to realize that Little Hitler is rising, becoming more and more powerful, and needs to be dealt with in language he understands.
