Anywhere In The World In One Hour. New Plane? No. Bomb

Is this a good thing? Or is it not?

Hey folks,

I know, I know, some of you look at what I have been saying about Iran over the years and think I'm a Hawk. I love War. I love force. I think that the only answer to a threat against us is Force. This is really not true. I, like my more Liberal Friends HATE War. I HATE the fact that we need to use force. I join the Beatles in saying Imagine a World with no War. With no Hate. With no Guns. But I do live in Reality.

There are still places on this Planet where they have no Idea whatsoever what TV is. What A Car is. Hell, what Cloths are. But they do understand that the people in the next Village over have something they want, so they attempt to take it by force using Sticks and Rocks. The People in the Next Village over understand that if they wish to continue to possess what they have, and if they want to continue to live, they will have to defend it with force. So they DO.

People all through out History have waged War. Just because YOU may not want to engage in War, doesn't mean that they will just play Nice. There are people in this World that want NOTHING from us, but our Death. Iran wants nothing from us or our Friends but our Death. They do not want Land, Money, or even just our Respect. They want us DEAD. The only thing they understand is FORCE.

So I understand, although still not sure I understand the Need for THOUSANDS of them, but I understand the NEED of having a Nuclear Bomb. I understand the Necessity of having a Strong Military. I understand the NEED of the use of Force in certain circumstances. But I also understand the need of having something else in our arsenal. The WILL to use it.

So whenever I see a story like this, I wonder, if our Enemies do not believe we have the WILL to use them, does it matter? Is this a good thing? Or is it not? The Ability to strike ANY Target in the World in one hour? According to the AFP - Pentagon successfully tests hypersonic flying bomb (AFP) – 17 hours ago

WASHINGTON — The Pentagon on Thursday held a successful test flight of a flying bomb that travels faster than the speed of sound and will give military planners the ability to strike targets anywhere in the world in less than a hour.

Launched by rocket from Hawaii at 1130 GMT, the "Advanced Hypersonic Weapon," or AHW, glided through the upper atmosphere over the Pacific "at hypersonic speed" before hitting its target on the Kwajalein atoll in the Marshall Islands, a Pentagon statement said.

Kwajalein is about 2,500 miles (4,000 kilometers) southwest of Hawaii. The Pentagon did not say what top speeds were reached by the vehicle, which unlike a ballistic missile is maneuverable.

Scientists classify hypersonic speeds as those that exceed Mach 5 -- or five times the speed of sound -- 3,728 miles (6,000 kilometers) an hour.
That's pretty cool. Imagine a Plane traveling that fast. 3,728 miles an hour? So now we have a Bomb that does so. That can hit anywhere in the World in one hour or less.

The test aimed to gather data on "aerodynamics, navigation, guidance and control, and thermal protection technologies," said Lieutenant Colonel Melinda Morgan, a Pentagon spokeswoman.

The US Army's AHW project is part of the "Prompt Global Strike" program which seeks to give the US military the means to deliver conventional weapons anywhere in the world within an hour.

On August 11, the Pentagon test flew another hypersonic glider dubbed HTV-2, which is capable of flying 27,000 kilometers per hour, but it was a failure.

The AHW's range is less than that of the HTV-2, the Congressional Research Service said in a report, without providing specifics.

The Pentagon has invested 239.9 million dollars in the Global Strike program this year, including 69 million for the flying bomb tested Thursday, CRS said.
So we spent $69 Million for this ONE Test Flight of this new Bomb? Now our Enemies know that if they show signs of attacking us, we could blow them to Smithereens before they could get their plans going. Great. But do they believe that we have the WILL to use it? It does no good to have it, if your Enemy KNOWS that you would never use it. With our current Commander and Chief, they don't fear that WILL.

The World is getting more and more Dangerous. Shariah Law and the Muslim Brotherhood is on a March throughout the Middle East. With Obama's help by the way. Little Hitler is one of the Main Possible Future Leaders of the entire Middle East. He is Building a Nuclear Bomb. Russian Warships are in Syria.

Russian warships are due to arrive at Syrian territorial waters, a Syrian news agency said on Thursday, indicating that the move represented a clear message to the West that Moscow would resist any foreign intervention in the country's civil unrest.
Lets not forget about Putin's quest to bring aback the old USSR. His taken back of old Russian Territories and seemingly wishing for another Cold War with US. Let's not forget about North Korea. While all this is going on, it is a good thing that our Enemies know we now have a new weapon in our arsenal. But do they FEAR we will ever use it? With Obama? The sad answer is NO.

New World Order Coming

Hey folks,

Just this past March 30, 2008, I posted OPNTalk - Many See McCain As A Liberal In it I posted the AIM {Accuracy In Media} piece by Cliff Kincaid "McCain’s Incoherent New World Order" in which Cliff Kincaid wrote this.

Noting that McCain committed himself to adoption of a new U.N.-sponsored global warming treaty, which would be even more comprehensive and tougher than the Kyoto Protocol, Limbaugh said that “The theme here is that there’s nothing special about America, and that we’re not going to be able to do anything without involving other nations and making them like us and showing them that we intend them no harm and that we want to be good stewards of the planet just as they want to be good stewards.”

The latter was a reference to McCain declaring that “We need to be good stewards of our planet and join with other nations to help preserve our common home. The risks of global warming have no borders.” McCain sounded like another Democrat―Al Gore.

But despite his preference for what appears to be some kind of New World Order, McCain’s prior endorsement of a new Muslim state in Europe by the name of Kosovo could undermine all of his best-laid plans. Recognition of Kosovo could lead to war with Russia and more terrorist problems for Israel.

Well a New World Order DOES seem to be what McCain REALLY wants. Get this from the AP - McCain proposal for joint action gains support By BARRY SCHWEID, AP Diplomatic Writer

Gaining ground this political season is a proposed League of Democracies designed to strengthen support for the next president's overseas agenda and ensure a global leadership role for the United States.

No it will not. What it WILL do is turn over the Sovereignty of the United States to this new World Order.

John McCain, the virtually certain Republican presidential nominee, has endorsed the concept of a new global compact of more than 100 democratic countries to advance shared views and has discussed the idea with French and British leaders.

"It could act where the U.N. fails to act," he said last month, and pressure tyrants "with or without Moscow's and Beijing's approval."

So forget the UN. McCain's plan is actually much worse.

McCain said the League might impose sanctions on Iran, relieve suffering in the Darfur region of Sudan and deal with environmental problems.

GLOBAL WARMING BS. This is the "reason" some will accept this. It is to save the planet.

Barack Obama, who has a lead in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, has not taken a stand. But Anthony Lake, one of Obama's policy advisers, has spoken in favor of the idea.

Analysts at think tanks in Washington and elsewhere envision a league focused on maintaining peace and limiting U.S. military intervention, such as the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq.

Did you get that? Read that again. "maintaining peace and limiting U.S. military intervention, such as the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq."

That means that we will not be able to use force if we need to without this New World Order's permission. We will be giving up our own security. Our own freedom, our own sovereignty.

But missing so far are specific, proposed steps to turn the idea into reality, such as where to have a headquarters, who would finance the league and how its membership would be decided.

"Cooperation is an absolute essential," Ivo Daalder, a national security expert at the Brookings Institution, said Thursday at a seminar.

An originator of the idea, Daalder said it would give democracies a better opportunity to reform the United Nations.

If there had been a dialogue on Iraq there would have been more rigorous containment of Saddam Hussein, "possibly averting war," said Tod Lindberg, a Hoover Institution research fellow, at the seminar held at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

But not all foreign policy experts support the proposal.

Thomas Carothers, vice president for studies at Carnegie, said the world has no appetite for a U.S.-led league and many countries do not want the U.S. going around the U.N.

In fact, Carothers said, the United States cooperates often with non-democracies in its foreign policy. China's help in trying to end North Korea's nuclear weapons program is just one example, he said.

President Bush's Iraq war policy was bitterly opposed by two leading democracies, France and Germany, among others. But Bush went ahead despite their strong objections.

Who cares what ANY other country thinks of how we do things. WE ARE AMERICA. WE ARE THE SUPERPOWER of the world. WE NEED NO PREMISSION FROM ANYONE for ANYTHING.

"It is wishful thinking that a league of democracies would any more readily approve U.S. military intervention in support of another U.S. president," Carothers said.

That's NOT the point. READ this again. "maintaining peace and limiting U.S. military intervention, such as the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq." LIMITING, NOT approving. Do not forget the whole GWBS aspect of this either.

And while "some people like Senator McCain imagine it might become a replacement for the U.N., that is not the initial intention," Carothers said in a telephone interview after the seminar.

No, it's going to be worse. MUCH worse.

Congratulations Sen. McCain. For proposing this New World Order, accepting the whole GWBS, and talking about giving our Sovereignty away, you ARE the Idiot of the Week. Be thankful Senator, that the only way you are going to win this thing is because you are NOT Clinton or Obama.
