Hey folks,
First, I’m impressed. I’ll admit that I seem to have been wrong. Yesterday’s non-story, STAYED a non-story. But then again, it was over shadowed by Don Imus and his use of racial slurs. If you missed it, check out the AP -Imus fights for job in wake of insults.
Yesterday is also a clear example of why, when dealing with people like Little Hitler {President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad} fails every time. Further prove that you cannot negociate with those that want you dead, just because you breath. Those that are radicle Islamists. Those that see you as nothing more than something to be destroyed. Why we CANNOT use diplomacy with Iran.First, Iran kidnaped fifteen British sailors, who by all evidence were in Iraqi waters. Hold them for as long as they did, then released them.
First, the Iranians found out that they can do whatever they want and noone will do anything about it. This emboldens them to do more. According to, well everyone, he now is boasting his nuclear technology again. According to the AP -Iran expands uranium enrichment effort by Aliakbar Dareini, Associated Press Writer.
Iran announced a dramatic expansion of uranium enrichment Monday, saying it has begun operating 3,000 centrifuges — nearly 10 times the previously known number — in defiance of U.N. demands it halt its nuclear program or face increased sanctions.
U.S. experts say 3,000 centrifuges are in theory enough to produce a nuclear weapon, perhaps within a year. But they doubted Iran really had so many up and running, a difficult technical feat given the country's spotty success with a much smaller number.
Instead, the announcement may aim to increase support at home amid growing criticism of hardline President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and to boost Iran's hand with the West by presenting its program as established, said Michael Levi, a nonproliferation expert at the Washington-based Council on Foreign Relations.
"From a political perspective, it's more important to have (3,000 centrifuges) in place than to have them run properly," Levi told The Associated Press. "We have an unfortunate habit to take Iran at its word when they make scary announcements."
WHY NOT? Ok I have a question. Why do you think that someone in Washington knows more about Iran, than Iran? This is one of the main problems. We are NOT taking Iran at their word. We didn’t take Hitler at his word either, until it was too late. Then it was, well, too late. I say we HAVE to take Little Hitler at his word. Why not?
The White House and Europe criticized the latest announcement.
"Iran continues to defy the international community and further isolate itself by expanding its nuclear program, rather than suspending uranium enrichment," said Gordon Johndroe, a spokesman for the National Security Council.
Iran is known to have had 328 centrifuges operating at its Natanz enrichment facility in central Iran. For months, it has been saying it plans to launch an expanded program of 3,000, likely to be set up in a large underground area at Natanz to protect them from air strikes.
"I declare that as of today, our dear country has joined the nuclear club of nations and can produce nuclear fuel on an industrial scale," Ahmadinejad said in a speech during a ceremony at Natanz marking the one-year anniversary of the first successful enrichment of uranium there.
BELIEVE HIM! Then AP reports this.
Asked by reporters at the ceremony if Iran has begun injecting uranium gas into 3,000 centrifuges for enrichment, Iran's top nuclear negotiator, Ali Larijani replied, "Yes." He did not say specifically whether all were working.
In the enrichment process, uranium gas is pumped into centrifuges, which spin and purify the gas. Enriched to a low degree, the result is fuel for a reactor, but to a high degree it creates the material for a nuclear warhead.
You do not have to guess. You do not have to speculate, ponder, wonder, debate, or anything else. All you have to do is LISTEN.
Do you remember when he released them? He was praised in the MMD {Mass Media Drones} the LWL, and the Liberals out there had a field day. Some even attempted to give Pelosi some credit for it.
Side note: Notice how the MMD has all but buried the story of Pelosi’s trip? With some as myself and others calling for her removal as the Traitor that she is, the media backed down, back peddled, and wants you to forget all about the trip. Does not fix the problem though.
Here is another reason that diplomacy fails with people like this. Not only does it embolden Little Hitler, it teaches a lesson to others. According to FT.com -Arab street warms to showman Ahmadi-Nejad {Financial Times} by Andrew England in Cairo. This is amazing.
On the dusty streets of Cairo, once considered the most important capital in the Arab world, Egyptians mulled over the recent performance of Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad, with most concluding he deserved a thumbs-up.
The Iranian president’s eye-catching showmanship as he announced the release of the 15 British sailors and marines seems to have generated admiration laced with a hint of frustration – why couldn’t Arab leaders be like him and stand up to the west?
The fact that Mr Ahmadi-Nejad is the leader of a Persian, predominantly Shia nation, seemed not to matter. "I consider Ahmadi-Nejad a leader of the Arab people. He has the confidence. It upsets me that we don’t have such a leader," says Mohamed Ali, a 20-year-old student.
As Sunni Arab leaders voice concerns about sectarian tensions they say are fuelled by Iran and its interference in Iraq and Lebanon and watch Tehran’s nuclear programme with suspicion, other, ordinary Arabs see Mr Ahmadi-Nejad as a breath of fresh air.
A breath of fresh air? "We don’t have such a leader?" Folks, WHEN he chooses to branch out even more, he will be accepted by more people than you can imagine. He could easily become other’s leader as well. I have been warning you that this is a new Hitler rising.
Abdullah Alshayji, a professor of international relations and head of the US studies unit at Kuwait University, says the Iranian leader strikes a balance that resonates in the Arab world: candid and outspoken in his criticism of the west and Israel, while appearing as a humble man of the people.
"We see that this could really give credence to Iran, that they are standing up to the two dominant powers in the region, America and Britain," Mr Alshayji says. "What we see is Iran gaining the hearts and minds by standing up to the major powers, so it is likely the masses in the Arab street, or maybe the Muslim street, look at Iran as the only country that can play head to head with the these powers, while the axis of moderation cannot be counted on."
The article goes on to say,
A recent poll of five Arab countries by the Zogby Institute and the Arab American Institute found most of those surveyed had a negative perception of Iran’s role in Iraq. "Iran’s image in the Arab world is the lowest ever," says Mustafa Alani, security analyst at the Dubai-based Gulf Research Centre.
But that’s changing.
Then this report by The Independent -Leading article: Iraq and the erosion of Britain's moral authority points out the way Britain handled the situation and the fact that more British soldiers were just killed in Iraq is actually hurting Britain. It ends with this.
If, as it seems, the Prime Minister hoped to rewrite the diplomatic draw as a moral victory for Britain, he failed to convince. His ill-judged remarks only underlined how inexorably his power is ebbing away.
Simply, you CANNOT use diplomacy with people that want you dead, just because you breath. Iran doesn’t want anything from us. They just want us dead. Little Hitler wants world domination. He SAID so. Yet we chose to wonder, guess, and ask, want is it that we can offer him to make him play nice. What can we do to get him to like us? Ask him. He’ll tell you. Die.
