Blame the Envionuts

You may not like this, but facts are facts.

Hey folks,

Why do we not have more Refineries? Envionuts. Why do we not have more Nuclear Facilities? Envionuts. Why do we not have more Natural Gas Facilities? Envionuts. Why do we rely mostly on foreign Governments, many of which want us gone, for our daily Energy use? Envionuts. What stops us every step of the way in achieving Energy Independence? Envionuts.

Now that the "Top Kill" method has failed in the Gulf. BP is talking about the low marine riser package, or LMRP.

The LMRP involves using ROVs to make a clean cut through the riser at the top of the blowout preventer (BOP) with a high-tech device similar to a band-saw, and then lowering a new riser fitted with a sealing grommet to the existing riser. On the surface, the Discoverer Enterprise drillship will collect the escaping oil and natural gas. Suttles told reporters yesterday that the procedure could take four days and that the equipment is on scene and is ready for deployment.
Will this work? Your guess is as good as mine.

The problem is that we are drilling over a mile below the Ocean's surface. Picture if you will if we had an accident like this in Shallower Waters. Or better yet, on LAND. A couple of boats, some trucks, maybe a helicopter or two, Hole plugged. End of story. But we are not. No. We are drilling a MILE below the surface of the Sea. So? WHY are we out there to begin with? Envionuts.

Time and time again, whenever the Envoinuts lose and sanity wins, what they tell us turns out to be false, and or, completely opposite. Remember the Caribou? The Alaskan Pipeline was suppose to wipe them out. What happened? They LOVE it. They have moved in to a closer proximity to it. They have multiplied in numbers since the Pipeline was put in. We are told we have no Oil to make a difference. What happened? What kept happening? We find more here than in the entire Middle East put together. Actually, in ONE location. Every time we are told something, like the "Nightmares" of Nuclear, we find that in REALITY, they are nothing but scare tactics. Look at the UK. Look at London. It's working. No problems.

I have said this many times before, in many difference forms. PEOPLE FIRST. Now of course I understand and agree we need to be good stewards of the only home we have, the Earth. I understand that we have limited land to use a garbage fills, and if we pollute beyond the Earth's or our, capability to recover from it, we will have many problems in the future. I'm all for looking for better ways to recycle, reuse, and, believe it or not, I'm all for the exploration of "Greener Energy." Or Energy that will be affordable to all, renewable, and easily acquired. However, as we have talk about in depth, there is NOTHING THERE. Nothing.

Wind farms and Solar Energy offer no viable solution at this time. The average wind farm only produces enough electricity to keep a small Town in lights for a few hours. That is only if the Wind blows a constant 20 to 30 miles hour. If not, some just shut down and other run on, yup, you guessed it. OIL!

Solar Power production can not be stored on a scale to make ANY difference whatsoever. Then again, it is not Sunny, everywhere, all the time. So when the Sun is not shining? How does say Seattle, get their Power?

We have heard all the insanity from the Envionuts over the years. Like the family that lived on their land for generations, go to build a new house, and are told "Nope. Sorry, we found a little field mouse on your land. No building." Or, well, what we have here. No new Energy Sources, yet, "sorry, no more Drilling." How long will we be forced to suffer fools?
