Finally

Hey folks,

Finally the time has come that so many people have been waiting for. Our Troops will be supported. It seems that the LWL has FINALLY come to their senses, at least with this, and will be giving the President an Iraq funding bill he will sign. The Mass Media Drones, and the Left Wing Looneys are going NUTS. Got to love that.

From The AP-Congress approving war-funding bill By DAVID ESPO, AP Special Correspondent

Bowing to President Bush, the Democratic-controlled Congress lined up reluctantly Thursday to provide fresh billions for the Iraq war without the troop withdrawal timeline that drew his earlier veto.

STOP! {Laughing} Bowing to the President?

"The Iraqi government needs to show real progress in return for America's continued support and sacrifice," said the commander in chief, and he warned that August could prove to be a bloody month for U.S. troops in Baghdad's murderous neighborhoods.

Five months in power on Capitol Hill, Democrats in both houses coupled their concession to the president with pledges to challenge his war policies anew. "Those of us who oppose this war will be back again and again and again and again until this war has ended," said Rep. Jim McGovern, D-Mass.

"I hate this agreement," added Rep. David Obey, D-Wis., the chairman of the House Appropriations Committee who played a key role in talks with the White House that yielded the measure.

In a highly unusual maneuver, House Democratic leaders crafted a procedure that allowed their rank-and-file to oppose money for the war, then step aside so Republicans could provide the bulk of votes needed to send it to the Senate for final approval.

Presidential politics spiced the proceedings across the Capitol.

Sen. Christopher Dodd of Connecticut, alone among the Senate's Democratic White House hopefuls, pledged in advance to oppose the bill. Sen. Joseph Biden of Delaware said he supported it.

That left Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York and Barack Obama of Illinois publicly uncommitted in the hours leading to the vote, two leading White House rivals tugged in one direction by the needs of 165,000 U.S. troops — and in another by party activists demanding rejection of the legislation.

Yes folks, and they are NOT happy. More on that in a second.

The legislation includes nearly $95 billion to pay for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan through Sept. 30. In addition to jettisoning their plan for a troop withdrawal timeline, Democrats abandoned attempts to require the Pentagon to adhere to troop training, readiness and rest requirements unless Bush waived them.

The bill establishes a series of goals for the Iraqi government to meet as it strives to build a democratic country able to defend its own borders. Continued U.S. reconstruction aid would be conditioned on progress toward the so-called benchmarks, although Bush retains the authority to order that the funds be spent regardless of how the Baghdad government performs.

Which EVERYONE agrees with.

Reflecting unhappiness among conservatives in his own party, Bush said he would have preferred less domestic spending than the bill contained. "But, still, by voting for this bill members of both parties can show our troops and the Iraqis and the enemy that our country will support our servicemen and women in harm's way," he said at a Rose Garden news conference.

One of the most vocal war critics in Congress readily agreed. "This is not a game. They run out of money next week," said Rep. John Murtha of Pennsylvania, whose speech opposing Bush's Iraq policy more than a year ago was a turning point in the debate.

We KNOW this is not a game. You and the Traitor leadership have been the ones treating it as such.

OK according to the NYT, well, need I say more? NYT-On War Funds, Democrats Saw No Option but to Cede Ground to Bush

Not their Fault. {Smile}

WASHINGTON, May 23 — Congressional contortions over the Iraq spending bill could end up with most House Democrats momentarily occupying the position they were so desperate to vacate: the minority.

The decision by the Democratic majority to strip the measure of a timetable for troop withdrawal has raised the prospect that it could be approved mainly by
Republicans with scattered Democrat support. The idea that many Democrats would be left on the losing side in a consequential vote has exposed a sharp divide within the party, drawn scorn from antiwar groups, confused the public and frustrated the party rank and file.

But in recounting the leadership’s thinking, senior Democrats and other officials said that by early this week they had concluded there was no alternative but to give ground to President Bush despite their view that he had mishandled the war and needed to be put under tighter Congressional rein.

Get this folks. This is too funny.

But the outcome has angered segments of the antiwar coalition that helped put Democrats in charge of Congress last November on the presumption that the party would hold Mr. Bush’s feet to the fire when it came to the war.

Eli Pariser, executive director of
MoveOn.org, said Democrats were retreating when the public was squarely on their side. Members of his group were distributing fliers with an illustration of a spinal column to lawmakers, urging them to "show some backbone" and oppose the war spending bill.

"The Democrats were elected in November to lead the country out of the war, and this bill doesn’t do that," Mr. Pariser said. "And the perplexing thing about this moment is that the Democrats have the political wind strongly at their backs, and the country wants them to fight."

Who cares what MORON.Org thinks. You are losing your grip Soros.

Many Democrats share that view, saying they would have preferred a harder line from the leadership. "They were weaker than I would have preferred," said Representative Jerrold Nadler, Democrat of New York.

But some of Mr. Nadler’s colleagues said Democrats had to exhibit the responsibility that came with power and should reserve their criticism for Mr. Bush.

"The speaker and our leadership have been indefatigable in their efforts to bring the president to a place to do what we want to do — fund the troops and begin to change direction in Iraq," said Representative Ellen O. Tauscher, Democrat of California.

The leadership has engaged in a bit of legislative legerdemain to ease the pain for Democrats when it comes to the votes on the war money. Their plan calls for two votes. One would be on the war spending and related benchmarks calling for progress in Iraq — benchmarks that were previously resisted by the White House. That is the proposal many Democrats and Ms. Pelosi intend to vote against. Republican officials said Wednesday they believed their members would back it so the money could reach the Pentagon.

A second proposal would contain the first minimum-wage increase in more than a decade and $17 billion in new money for agriculture subsidies, child health care, veterans and military health care, and Gulf Coast rebuilding. Democrats intend to line up behind that measure. If passed, the two proposals would automatically be merged and sent to the Senate without a final vote, sparing Democrats a roll call on the war money and Republicans a vote on the spending.

Aides said they expected the combined proposals to draw considerable support from Senate Democrats who would be more inclined to want to go on record backing the financing for the military as well as the domestic spending. The idea was to get the measure to Mr. Bush by the weekend, though it was still being assembled Wednesday.

Some senators were weighing their options. The Democratic presidential contenders
Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York and Barack Obama of Illinois were not tipping their hand.

And Senator
Harry Reid of Nevada, the majority leader and Ms. Pelosi’s partner in negotiating with the White House, had also not revealed how he intended to vote.

They will most likely not vote. Leaving it open for the Republicans to have the Majority, because they are cowards. But it should be interesting to see how this all plays out in the Press. Finally our Troops will be supported.

Traitors Pelosi, Reid, and Murtha, Could Learn From Israeli Prime Min Ehud Olmert

Hey folks,

Remember the Lebanon War? Many Israelis, and many in the world, saw this as a failure. The Israeli military were not allowed to do what they have always done. Win the war. Defend themselves. They did not start the war. But they have ALWAYS finished the battles. That was until Israeli Prime Min Ehud Olmert. A Lawyer. A coward. A politically correct Idiot.

Remember after the order to retreat. In essence, a lot like what we are see from the Traitors in OUR Congress. A lot in Israel wanted him out. More than 100,000 protesters in Tel Aviv demand his resignation. He survived three no-confidence votes against his government, but at least 16 members of his large majority in Parliament are either absent, vote no confidence or abstain. This is part of political fallout from harsh report on country's leadership during war in Lebanon. Labor Party will choose new party leader in late May, This Month folks. Several contenders say they would take party out of coalition if Olmert remains in office. Polls show at least two-thirds of public want Olmert to resign. There is a growing movement here about Pelosi and Reid.

According to AP-Israeli troops round up Hamas lawmakers By ALI DARAGMEH, Associated Press Writer

Israeli troops in the West Bank arrested more than 30 senior Hamas members Thursday, the army said, including a Cabinet minister, legislators and mayors.

The roundup came hours after Israeli planes struck what the military said were money changing offices and other businesses in Gaza which were channeling funds to Hamas.

The raids were part of a concerted offensive against the Islamic militant group, in retaliation for its rocket attacks from Gaza on Israeli border towns.

The most prominent Hamas politician to be arrested was Education Minister Nasser Shaer, considered a pragmatist in the movement. His wife, Huda, said soldiers knocked on the door of their home in the West Bank city of Nablus and took him away. Troops also seized Shaer's computer, she said.

Just because someone forms what they SAY is a government, does not mean they are legit. It’s not like a get out of jail free card. The Nazis were a government. They were also terrorists lead by a lunatic bent on world domination.

It was the second time Shaer was arrested in a roundup of Hamas members in the past year.

Soldiers also arrested former Cabinet minister Abdel Rahman Zeidan, legislators Hamed Bitawi and Daoud Abu Ser, the mayors of the towns of Nablus, Qalqiliya and Beita — Adli Yaish, Wajih Qawas and Arab Shurafa — as well as the head of the main Islamic charity in Nablus, Fayad al-Arba.

Troops also searched for Ahmed Haj Ali, a Hamas legislator in Nablus, but didn't find him at home, neighbors said.

The Israeli military said more than 30 senior Hamas members were arrested.

Israeli aircraft on Wednesday demolished two money exchange shops used to channel funds to Hamas militants, the military said, hours after Palestinian leaders made a new push to restore a truce with Israel that collapsed under heavy Hamas rocket fire.

{Laughing} They attack Israel. Israel is ALLOWED to do what they do. NOW, they want a cease fire. Remember all the bunk in our news outlets during the war in Lebanon? Their response was not fair. {Sigh}

In a new tactic, Israeli troops also made a brief foray deeper into Gaza early Wednesday, searching several homes about half a mile from the border and briefly detaining seven Palestinians. Soldiers left behind handwritten notes warning that houses could be demolished if rockets are fired from the property.

Because the use privet houses to launch rockets. This way if Israeli planes take them out, it LOOKS like they are attacking civilians. This is what they will claim.

But the point is this. If President Bush just unleashed the dogs of war, and allowed them to do their jobs in the first place. We would have been long gone. If the Traitors would stop playing games, and support and fund the Troops, we would get done that much faster.

War is unpleasant. War is bad. But all throughout history, war is NECESSARY. They is always someone out there that does not like you. Want what you have, or simply want more than THEY have. One must realize that in those situations where war has become necessary, one must simply leave the matter to those that LIVE for it. The Warriors.

There is not a single war that has been won by "Armchair Generals." Many have been lost. But no not one won. The President made a mistake in trying to conduct a politically correct war. We are where we are now because of that. Now Congress and the Traitors that are in charge, want to LOSE the war. They have seen how to do this by watching others fail. Like what happened in Israel.

Maybe it is US that should learn something for all this. If we continue to stand up for what is right, support our Troops, and turn the Dogs loose, we will see a major victory in a short time. We have to realize that the war will not end with our surrender. It will only intensify. Our enemies will grow bigger, braver, and more powerful. They WILL attack us here again.

We need to either convince the Traitors that they are on the wrong side and to come back with us, or we need to continue to call for their ousting. They are NOT serving this country. All the things they are actually telling you they want is BAD. Let's look toward Israel and see the lesson that lies within.

Special Iran Update, Wednesday 23, 2007

Hey folks,

I have come down with a pretty severe case of Bronchitis. The Doctor said that I am walking the fine line between that and Pneumonia. So I am relegated to only exercising my mind as my body heals. But fret not, That is what I do here EVERYDAY. Exercise my mind to make the complicated simple to understand. This also means I have a lot of free time coming up, while I go in and out of conscientious. {Smile}

Well, making the news again today? Our old friend "Little Hitler." I have been warning you folks about him for well over a year, before anyone else was talking about him, I was telling you the dangers of this guy. According to AP-Iran detains Iranian-American consultant By LEE KEATH, Associated Press Writer.

Iran has detained an Iranian-American consultant working for George Soros' Open Society Institute, the latest U.S. citizen connected to a non-governmental organization to be seized in the country, the institute said Wednesday.

The detention of Kian Tajbakhsh comes amid recent accusations by Iranian authorities that the U.S. is using critics and dissidents to try to overthrow the country's hard-line government.

WAIT, WAIT, WAIT. President Ahmadinejad, you got it all wrong. If he is a Soros Drone, he is YOUR FRIEND. He poses no threat to you. As a matter of fact, he was probably over there to try to help you make President Bush look bad. If I were you, I would release him as a sign of good faith.

Earlier this month, Iranian authorities arrested Haleh Esfandiari, director of the Middle East Program at the Washington-based Woodrow Wilson Center for Scholars, and charged her with setting up a network to overthrow the Islamic regime.

Tajbakhsh, an urban planning consultant who has also worked for the World Bank, was detained on or around May 11, the New York-based Open Society Institute said in a statement. The group is a private foundation that encourages democracy-building in countries around the world.

"We are concerned for his safety and call for his immediate release," the statement said.

Don’t worry, when he learns the truth of who this is, he will release him. But why do you think they were so bold to begin with. Because they have been doing and saying anything they want with no repercussions. British Soldiers? Nothing. Violate UN Sanction? Nothing. So why not?

He knows that his friends in Washington has the President's hands tied. He feels he can do anything he wants. From Reuters- IAEA says Iran building up atom program, defying UN By Mark Heinrich 54 minutes ago

The U.N. nuclear watchdog said on Wednesday Iran was expanding its uranium enrichment program in defiance of international demands, opening the way to harsher sanctions against Tehran over fears it is seeking atom bombs.

The findings in a report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) came on the day nine U.S. warships sailed into the Gulf for maneuvers to demonstrate American impatience with Tehran, which it also accuses of backing insurgents in Iraq.

Iran ignored another 60-day deadline for it to freeze enrichment activity set by the United Nations Security Council when it imposed a second round of sanctions on March 24.

"Iran has not suspended its enrichment-related activities. Iran has continued with operation of its pilot fuel enrichment plant and with construction of its (planned industrial) enrichment plant," said the report, obtained by Reuters.

So go blow the hell out of their factory. Not a single foot of and single Soldier needs to be soiled on Iranian land. Just BOOM. No more threat. OH, Yeah, I forgot the Traitors in Washington.

In response, Iran said it remained committed to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), which the West suspects it is violating by using a declared civilian nuclear program as a facade for mastering the means to build warheads.

"Iran is still loyal to its commitment in carrying out the NPT," Iranian state television quoted chief nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani as saying.

NO it’s NOT! Never was. Evidence after evidence proves it.

Iran, which had already said it was expanding uranium enrichment, says it seeks to use nuclear technology only for power generation. Enriched uranium can be used for nuclear power plants or, if refined to a much higher degree, for bombs.

Six world powers stand behind U.N. Security Council resolutions demanding Iran suspend all nuclear fuel work in exchange for negotiations on trade incentives, with the threat of escalating sanctions if Tehran keeps refusing.

Get this,

"LAUNDRY LIST OF DEFIANCE"

In Washington, a White House spokesman said the new IAEA report was "a laundry list of Iran's continued defiance of the international community and shows that Iran's leaders are only furthering the isolation of the Iranian people."

U.S. officials had said the powers would start drafting a third, harsher batch of sanctions if the deadline was flouted.

More talk that has been and will again be useless.

But a senior European diplomat at the Security Council said "I don't think we'll rush at it." He said he expected the Council to await the outcome of high-level exploratory talks on the nuclear issue between the EU and Iran next week.

Which will do more nothing. We are there. We are ready.

Washington sent nine U.S. warships into the Gulf, a narrow channel in international waters off Iran's coast and a crucial artery for global oil shipments. Oil rose towards $70 on world markets, partly on news of the force's arrival.

The U.S. navy said the ships, including two aircraft carriers, would conduct exercises under a long-planned effort to reassure local Arab allies of U.S. commitment to Gulf security.

In response, Iran said it would powerfully resist any threat from Washington. The U.S. has said it is committed to a diplomatic solution but has not rule out military intervention.

Oh stop. A couple well placed bombs, no more threat. I have been and I am, telling you, Little Hitler cannot be appeases, ignored, or coddled. He is FAR too dangerous.

Are We Starting to See a Backbone Forming?

Hey folks,

Could it possibly be? Are we starting to see a backbone forming with the Republicans? Well, let us look at some possible signs. First we know that the "Immigration Reform" bill has been put off until June. Meanwhile the opposition to this bill grows. Now you know there are many Republicans who are fighting to keep their jobs. They NEED to listen to, well, YOU. But what I told you about a little while back, even some Illegal Aliens are opposed to it. According to Reuters -Opposition to immigration bill intensifies

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A fragile immigration pact in the U.S. Senate withstood its first major test on Tuesday as lawmakers overwhelmingly rejected a Democratic effort to torpedo the guest worker program that has drawn fire from unions and Hispanic groups.

The Senate voted 64-31 against the first of what is expected to be many challenges to the bipartisan deal that ties tough border security and work place enforcement measures to the guest worker program and a plan to legalize an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants.
Now we know this is being attacked by ALL.

Conservative Republicans also oppose the legalization program saying it rewards people who broke U.S. laws.

Like I told you.

In the face of mounting opposition, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, a Nevada Democrat, put off a final Senate vote on the bill until June after lawmakers return from a break next week for Memorial Day.

But like I said, this is opposed by a wide range on every side. So to say that this is a sign of a backbone would be a stretch. But then you have THIS story from the Washington Post -House GOP Uses Procedural Tactic To Frustrate Democratic Majority By Lyndsey LaytonWashington Post Staff Writer on Saturday.

House Republicans, fighting to remain relevant in a chamber ruled by Democrats, have increasingly seized on a parliamentary technique to alter or delay nearly a dozen pieces of legislation pushed by the majority this year.

And an election-year promise by Democrats to pay for any new programs they created has made it easier for Republicans to trip them up.

Tensions over the maneuvers reached a boil this week. Republicans used procedural tactics to stall floor debate for four hours Wednesday, and they are threatening to tie up future legislative action.

This is GREAT to see. According to the Post.

The motion to recommit allows the minority a chance to amend a bill on the floor or send it back to committee, effectively killing it. In a legislative body in which the party in power controls nearly everything, it is one of the few tools the minority has to effect change.

In the 12 years of Republican control that ended in January, Democrats passed 11 motions to recommit. Republicans have racked up the same number in just five months of this Congress.

It says that the Democrats are saying it’s not fair. Even tells you that Majority leader Steny Hoyer, got all huffy and left the floor meeting privately with Republican Leader John Boehner and Roy Blunt. What was the outcome? According to the Post "The men emerged with an uneasy detente that they said would last at least until Congress breaks for the Memorial Day recess, but the matter is far from settled."

{Laughing} But GET THIS. From the AP -House to vote on reprimanding Murtha By CHARLES BABINGTON, Associated Press Writer

House Republicans angled Tuesday to put Democrats in a no-win position: reprimand a senior colleagues or be seen as blindly excusing legislative bullying for partisan reasons.

House leaders tentatively scheduled a late Tuesday vote on a Republican move to reprimand Rep. John Murtha, a Pennsylvania Democrat and close ally of House Speaker Hancy Pelosi, D-Calif. The GOP accuses Murtha of making a blatant threat against a Republican who challenged a pet project that Murtha wanted.

Democratic leaders said they believed they had the votes to kill the motion, but conceded that some party members were unhappy about being pressed to defend a blustery colleague known for bare-knuckled politics.

Murtha has not disputed a Republican claim that he stormed across the House floor May 17 to confront Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich. Rogers had tried unsuccessfully to strike a $23 million Murtha earmark — or narrowly targeted spending item — for a drug intelligence center in Murtha's district.

In a House speech Monday, Rogers said Murtha threatened him by saying, "you will not get any earmarks now and forever."

Rogers, backed by House GOP leaders, said Murtha's threat violates congressional ethics rules and "merits the reprimand of the House."

So Traitor Murtha ran across the floor and threaten this Republican because he couldn’t get more money? These are the people that got voted in folks. Now according to the New York Times a few hours later, they tabled it {The vote} but just the fact that they we actually brave enough to CALL for it IS a sign of progress in the search of courage. Maybe there is still hope.

Iraq and Immigration

Hey folks,

The two big news stories are still today, and most likely will be for a few more days, it Immigration and Iraq. First up Iraq. Looks like the LWL is FINALLY going to see the light. According to the AP -Dems set war bill without Iraq timeline, By DAVID ESPO, AP Special Correspondent

In grudging concessions to President Bush, Democrats intend to draft an Iraq war-funding bill without a timeline for the withdrawal of U.S. troops and shorn of billions of dollars in spending on domestic programs, officials said Monday.

Translation, no surrender measure. A clean bill to do what it has always been intended to do. Support the Troops. But it is not entirely clean.

The legislation would include the first federal minimum wage increase in more than a decade, a top priority for the Democrats who took control of Congress in January, the officials added.

While details remain subject to change,
{As Always with the Democrats} the measure is designed to close the books by Friday on a bruising veto fight between Bush and the Democratic-controlled Congress over the war. It would provide funds for military operations in Iraq through Sept. 30, the end of the fiscal year.

Democrats in both houses are expected to seek other opportunities later this year to challenge Bush's handling of the unpopular conflict.

Democratic officials stressed the legislation was subject to change. They spoke on condition of anonymity, saying they were not authorized to discuss provisions before a planned presentation to members of the party's rank and file later in the day.

They have no problem leaking what they are doing when it is a full out attack on Bush. But because this is a "victory" for Bush, they "They spoke on condition of anonymity." {Laughing} You know who they are afraid of right? Soros and Moiveon.org. They could not care less about YOU. They are afraid of upsetting their looney base.

So from doing something right, finally, to doing something WAY WRONG. According to USA Today -Senators to debate immigration policy, By Kathy Kiely, USA TODAY.

WASHINGTON — Forget your poor, tired, huddled masses. Now some policymakers are saying the nation might be better off fixing its sights on engineers and Ph.D.s.

The immigration legislation the Senate begins debating today takes a step in that direction, a step that other countries have taken with mixed success.

In what Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez called "a very significant and, we believe, very important shift," the bill proposes to change the policy that has made family the chief factor in determining who becomes a citizen.

If the bipartisan bill is enacted, relatives of U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents will still make up most of the nation's immigrants. But their numbers will shrink as the proportion who gain entry because of their skills grows. "We have to be more focused on what the country needs," Gutierrez told USA TODAY.

"This legislation will transform our immigration system so that future immigration decisions are focused on admitting immigrants who have the skills, education and English proficiency that will help America compete," President Bush said in his weekend radio address.

WHAT ABOUT THE AMNESTY for all the illegals? That’s the hang up. That’s the problem. Skilled, and English speaking future immigrates? Great. But how about securing our boarders, and NOT rewarding criminals FIRST.

I want you to see what is happening here folks. This story and the one I’m about to share with you, is yet another effort to make YOU and me, the bad guys. The Racists. Those without any compassion. Because WE want to protect this country, because we want those that want to, to come here LEGALLY, checking for disease, criminal history, ETC. WE are the problem.

This story goes on to state the obvious.

Of the more than 1.2 million people who immigrated last year, fewer than 13% were admitted based on job skills. The Senate bill would change the equation to set aside about one-third of the immigration slots each year for people who earn admission based on a points system designed to measure their ability to succeed in the economy.

That’s LEGALLY. What is the percentage of those up to 20 million that will become legal, as soon as the President signs the bill, are criminals?

Then get this story also from USA Today -Feds watching anti-immigrant extremists,By Kevin Johnson, USA TODAY.

Now WAIT! Just that title. Just the headline. I do not know anyone in my circle that is anti -immigration. I know just about everyone that is anti-ILLEGAL immigration. You see, some do not want you to think of the difference. They want you to forget the Illegal part. Forget we have laws. If you are against someone sneaking in to your house and steeling food and other things from you, then YOU have a problem you must be anti-thief, make that anti-borrower. You have to have compassion on him. He does not have, you do, so just accept that he has a right to take it from you.

Carl D. Wynn Jr., who last fall posed as a U.S. border agent and wrongly suggested that a Little Rock construction company had hired illegal immigrants, has come to symbolize how the divisive immigration debate can progress from legal expressions of opposition to offensive action.

Wynn, also accused of attempting to sabotage the same company by planting tire-ripping spikes outside the business, has quickly come to represent a "troubling" development within the radical ranks of the anti-immigration movement, said Little Rock U.S. Attorney Tim Griffin, whose office won a guilty plea last month from the laborer.

So they highlight one nut job.

Since 2000, the number of extremist groups has increased by 40%, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, which closely tracks the groups' activities. In the past two years, the growth has been largely driven by the emergence of about 144 "nativist" groups that oppose immigration.

"When folks try to take law enforcement matters into their own hands, it creates a potentially dangerous situation," Griffin said. "Mr. Wynn's actions are troubling to us."

Charles Frahm, FBI deputy assistant director for counterterrorism, said there is increasing concern that the most radical elements of the anti-immigration wing may be "susceptible" to recruitment by white supremacists and other groups inclined toward violence.

OK you are not going to like this. Some of you are about to get really upset with me. Let me say I do not support any hate group whatsoever. I think the KKK, Black Panthers, and other hate groups, like Islamofascists, should be done away with. I am NOT endorsing any hatred here whatsoever. BUT!

Why do you think there IS an increase? Maybe, just maybe because some see this for what it is. The possibility of changing our country for the worst. An invasion assisted, encouraged, and legalized by our President. I don’t know, maybe that has a little to do with it. Oh wait, they say so.

Frustrated by the surge of illegal immigrants into Las Vegas, the self-employed electrical engineer formed the Emigration Party of Nevada Headquartered largely on the Internet, Pauly has advanced some radical ideas for dealing with illegal immigrants. He openly advocates the deployment of government snipers to the porous southwest border and favors the forced sterilization of Mexican women after the birth of their first child.

"For the time being, we do not associate with anyone who is violent unless in self-defense," Pauly said in a later e-mail message. "However, I remind you of this quote of Thomas Jefferson's:

'The tree of Liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. It is its natural manure.' "

Now you may not agree with his extreme view, but his problem is ILLEGAL Aliens sneaking into the country. Now the President and some in Congress wanting to reward them. I’ll make a prediction for you folks. If this passes. If President Bush gets a bill to sign, and signs it, this will GUARANTEE a Democratic victory in 08. Why? Because the same mis-guided and, quite frankly, ignorant, Conservatives and Republicans will sit out thinking they are teaching a the Republican party a lesson like in 06. See where that got us today?

Write, Email, call, if you live in or near the capital in your state, GO, knock on the door. Tell these Senators that this bill needs to die. We need to secure the boarders first. We need NOT award criminals. We need, which there is none now, an assimilation clause. We need to enforce the laws we already have. We need no more bills. We need no rewards. Simply put, we are NOT against immigration, we are against ILLEGAL Aliens. Yes that is what I will be calling them from now on. If you are Illegal, you are NOT an Immigrate.

WAIT!! This just in, AP- Senate puts off action on immigration

Senate leaders agreed Monday that they would wait until June to take final action on a bipartisan plan to give millions of unlawful immigrants legal status.

Get this.

"It would be to the best interests of the Senate ... that we not try to finish this bill this week," said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., as the chamber began debate on the volatile issue. "I think we could, but I'm afraid the conclusion wouldn't be anything that anyone wanted."

NOONE wants it in the first place. Can you say, feeling the heat?

Iraqi Troops Supported, Sad American Troops Not

Hey folks,

I do not know about you, but I’m tired of the Traitors in our Government {Pelosi, Reid, Murtha, and some others} playing politics with our troops lives. I’m tired of the quest of their to lose the war. To surrender to the enemy. I’m tired of them doing NOTHING. I guess in a way, I’m happy they have done nothing, because what they want to do, will damage this country, cost me and you more money than ever before {Taxes}. End free speech. Change the very way this country is. They would also remove any chance of us, Americans, from removing them from power. They would create a tyranny. If the were able to do what they wanted.

But let’s talk about the troops. Our brave men and women in the war. That volunteered to go there fight and die for THEM as well as us. Now they have a right to free speech, just like anyone else. They have played games and made political statements. Fine. Then they had another opportunity to support the troops. They failed to a second time. Now? Well, according to the BBC, at lease the Iraqi troops are being supported. BBC -First steps to arming Iraq's soldiers

Providing the army with new weapons is an important part of the plan to modernise Iraq's security services and make them self-sufficient. The BBC's James Shaw went to the US army's Camp Taji, near Baghdad, to see one Iraqi squad receive their new M16 rifles.

The convoy of four armoured Humvees and two black 4x4s rumbles down the highway heading north out of Baghdad.

Blue lights flash, sirens wail, the soldiers manning the turrets on top of the Humvees swing their machine-guns from side to side.

Get this.

So far, fewer than 2,000 have been given M16s. The official strength of the Iraqi Army at the moment is more than 143,000.

The man in charge of re-arming the Iraqi soldiers is US Army Lieutenant Colonel Don Easter.

"We're looking at the entire Iraqi Army," he says.

"We're looking at a process that's going to take well beyond a year, and could be upward of two years, depending on if there are any pauses in the process throughout this time."

It is a mammoth task, but in itself only a small piece of the effort to modernise Iraq's security forces and make them self-sufficient.

And all this takes no account of the fact that pressure is mounting on President Bush to end the US involvement in Iraq.

That might mean disengagement from the country before this and many other programmes have been completed.

That’s right folks. WE are arming the Iraqis. We are trying to get them to a point where they can stand on their own, which would mean, we LEAVE. Job completed . You know, what they, LWL WANT. The Looneys want us out. But they want us out BEFORE the job is done. They want us to lose. They want to create a failure there so they can blame Bush. It’s truly sad that OUR own men a women, are NOT being supported by their own government. Insead of supporting the troops. We get stories like this one. According to the AP -Pelosi says Bush has 'tin ear' on Iraq

President Bush has a "tin ear" when it comes to Iraq and should compromise with majority Democrats on a war spending bill with a timetable for U.S. troops to leave, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said.

With hopes of getting a new bill to President Bush before the Memorial Day weekend, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said Sunday that Republicans "don't want a retreat date in there, a surrender date."

Noone but the Traitors Do. The President will not sign ANY bill that does.

The White House and Congress failed to come up with a deal last week after exchanging offers and Bush's chief of staff said after a Capitol Hill meeting Friday that "timelines for withdrawal are just not the right way to go.

McConnell spoke of the need for legislation that would pass both the House and Senate, where Democrats hold a slimmer edge. He mentioned a proposal advanced by Sen. John Warner, R-Va., and other Republicans that would set standards for the Iraqi government to meet and condition reconstruction funds on progress toward achieving the goals.

"It's what can pass the Senate," McConnell said.

To Pelosi, however, "This is too little, too late. This would have been an appropriate measure maybe three or four years ago. But the accountability is very meager in the bill," she said in an interview broadcast Sunday.

The public wants accountability, said Pelosi, D-Calif., and "that is where the president refuses to listen. We've worked in a bipartisan way with the president on trade, on immigration, on our innovation agenda, on many issues. But when it comes to the war in Iraq, the president has a tin ear. He just cannot hear, except that which he wants to hear on it."

You are a Twit Traitor Pelosi.. YOU, Reid, Murtha, and the like ARE ACCOUNTABLE for using Soldiers lives for political gain. YOU are accountable for not supporting the Troops. YOU are guilty of TREASON. You should be removed from office. Period. The only thing that keeps you, Reid {who has declared the war lost already} and others in office, is the fact that there seems to be no Republican, Democrat, or Moderate, with enough moral strength to stand up and call for you to step down or be removed. You need to be investigated, and charged when and where needed. The blood of our men and women, sons and daughters, is on YOUR hands. SUPPORT the Troops already!

Asked whether Congress would send the White House another spending bill with a timeline, she said, "We're working on what we do now."

"One thing is for sure: By the time we leave here to honor our war veterans and those who have given their lives for our country on Memorial Day weekend, we will have legislation to fund the troops," Pelosi said.

Not if you put timetables in. This is getting old REALLY fast. You are either too ignorant to see what you are doing, to blind by your hatred for Bush, or worse yet, are doing this on purpose, with full knowledge.

Listen to the American people. Listen to The Troops. Listen to Sen McConnell.

"I do have the votes to uphold the veto. We need to stay away from a surrender date," McConnell said.

"Look, we need to have a compromise if we want to get the job done before Memorial Day. We know how to get there. It's to take out the surrender date. Any kind of reasonable benchmarks on the Iraqi government I think are going to have broad bipartisan support. That's clearly the way to get there," McConnell said.

It’s been 104 days without funds to support the Troops. This is YOUR fault. YOU are to blame. Not the President. Not the Troops, Not the American people. YOUR fault. Stop playing childish games with the lives of our Troops and fund them. You people really make me sick. You are completely disgusting. You are completely incompetent. You are committing Treason. It IS just that simple.

IWA for 052007

Hey folks,

On to the IWA. Greed, jealousy, and Global Warming. Yes Global Warming. Now I’ll tell you the truth, I have no idea if this weeks winner is jealous, greedy, or just plain ignorant, but this is just sad.

According to AP DiCaprio follows Gore on climate change By ANGELA DOLAND, Associated Press Writer.

About a decade ago, when Leonardo DiCaprio was on the cusp of megastardom and Al Gore was the U.S. vice president, the two talked together about global warming.

Yes that was when Al Gore produced the slide show that "proved" we only had ten years left. That would have meant the AL Gore attempted to brainwash a young 22 year old actor. Perhapse he accomplished his goal.

Now an all-out environmental activist, DiCaprio has followed Gore's lead by bringing a climate change documentary to the Cannes Film Festival. DiCaprio co-produced and co-wrote "The 11th Hour," which explains how humans have changed the climate and how to fix the damage.

"It's such an amazingly large issue, and you suddenly you feel like, what can I do? What can I do? It's too big for me to deal with," the 32-year-old actor told reporters Saturday in a beach cabana overlooking the Mediterranean.

{Laughing} There is NOTHING to do. There is NO Global Warming.

DiCaprio said the environmental movement owed a great debt to Gore, whose "An Inconvenient Truth," was shown at Cannes and won an Academy Award for best documentary feature.

"I think that movie, through the cinematic format, was able to convey science to the public and to the media in a way that it had never done before," DiCaprio said.

It conveyed NO science. There is NO Science in the whole Global Warming bunk. Global Warming is a scam. A Theory at best. Not proven. So let’s just put it this way. Let’s say for a second, that Global Warming MAY exist. It’s not proven to. The cause is not proven either. Our percentage of responsibility is not proven either. Therefore, HOW in the world can you honestly say, we have the answer of how to fix it?

I’m telling you that on 02-23-25 Mount ST Helens will erupt. It will be the biggest erupting on the face of this planet, in the history of this planet. With all the ash in the air, lava everywhere, it will block out the sun, and we will have another Ice Age. I tell you that it’s YOUR fault that this will happen. I base my concept on studies of "what if". I discover in the past 100 years the temperature has increased one degree. I get a bunch of "Scientists" {Who plan on making a lot of money, and getting very famous} to agree with me.

Now I tell you "It over. There is no debate. I have a consensus. This is real. You are to blame. You HAVE to pay to help prevent this from happening." I come up with a way for you to fix the problem. Through giving me and the Government money of course.

Here is the truth. It is 2007. I have no idea what will happen in 2025. But I have 18 years to make as much money as I can. I do not even know if I’m right. So if I have no real scientific proof, I’m right. I have no real way of knowing what will happen in 18 years. Then HOW in the world could I have a REAL way to fix it. {Sigh}

He said at their meeting about 10 years ago, Gore "took his time to talk to me about the issue of global warming, which I didn't really understand very much about, and from then on I've kind of been more active."

Looks like the GW messiah has one of his first actual Disciple.

While "An Inconvenient Truth" laid out the science behind global warming and its impact, DiCaprio's film doesn't try to prove that global warming exists — it accepts that it does and goes from there. It asks and responds to philosophical questions such as, how did mankind let nature deteriorate to this point?

This is what the goal is folks. Forget that there is no science, but consensus only. Forget the fact that just as many and even more daily Scientists out there telling you this is a scam. Forget the fact that Al Gore OWNS the company that the Government may very well FORCE you to pay, along with taxes, to fulfill your responsible obligation for creating this mess in the first place. Forget the fact that the Mass Media fails to report this little fact. Forget the fact that there are things called CYCLES in nature. Forget that there is a GOD. How DARE you question the GW Messiah. How dare you question your responsibility in this. How dare you question AL Gores authority.

DiCaprio also narrates the movie, which was directed by Leila Conners Petersen and Nadia Conners and includes commentary by visionaries from physicist Stephen Hawking to former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev.

Can you say Scifi?

For a new project, DiCaprio is looking for a script with an environmental theme.

"It can't be just a film about the environment for the sake of doing it," he said. "It's got to be powerful and moving. ... It's got to be good."

Well, maybe you and your Savior can write a movie together. You really haven’t done anything lately worth anything. Maybe you can jumpstart your dying career. Congratulations Leonardo, due to the fact that either you are too ignorant to think for yourself, or, you are attempting to become "famous" again, like so many other has been stars, you ARE the Idiot of the Week. Now kneel at the feet of your Messiah. I think he needs his feet washed.

H. S. New Fuel To Look For.

Hey folks,

It’s Sunday which means it’s time for the Health and Science segment, along with the IWA. I’m sitting in The Chair, coffee on the left, today, Cinnamon Hazelnut, and ready to go.

So with all this talk about the high gas prices, you have a lot of people complaining. You have a lot of blame being thrown around. A lot of it true, some not, but very little talk about AF {Alternative Fuel}Well, while scanning the news this morning I came across this story from Reuters -H & S New fuel for 21st century -- aluminum pellets? By Julie Steenhuysen

Pellets made out of aluminum and gallium can produce pure hydrogen when water is poured on them, offering a possible alternative to gasoline-powered engines, U.S. scientists say.

Hydrogen is seen as the ultimate in clean fuels, especially for powering cars, because it emits only water when burned. U.S. President George W. Bush has proclaimed hydrogen to be the fuel of the future, but researchers have not yet found the most efficient way to produce and store hydrogen.

Wait!, I know, it’s doomed already. President Bush is for it. So right off the bat, the LWL will be against it. Right? Regardless of this poor and unfortunate fact, it is STILL good news.

The metal compound pellets may offer a way, said Jerry Woodall, an engineering professor at Purdue University in Indiana who invented the system.

"The hydrogen is generated on demand, so you only produce as much as you need when you need it," Woodall said in a statement. He said the hydrogen would not have to be stored or transported, taking care of two stumbling blocks to generating hydrogen.

For now, the Purdue scientists think the system could be used for smaller engines like lawn mowers and chain saws. But they think it would work for cars and trucks as well, either as a replacement for gasoline or as a means of powering hydrogen fuel cells.

This is good news folks. I can imagine when they got done with the whole price gouging initial release, it becomes more and more readily available, knocking down the price. That will be it. If it is done correctly. Imagine buying a new car with this type of engine. This means the Big Oil, or more importantly, FOREIGN Oil, will no longer have all the "costs" they have today. They will not be able to GIVE their oil away. Oh this would not happen over night, but it could happen before my Son Joshua is driving. That would be great.

"It is one of the more feasible ideas out there," Jay Gore, an engineering professor and interim director of the Energy Center at Purdue's Discovery Park, said in a telephone interview on Thursday. "It's a very simple idea but had not been done before."

On its own, aluminum will not react with water because it forms a protective skin when exposed to oxygen. Adding gallium keeps the film from forming, allowing the aluminum to react with oxygen in the water.

This reaction splits the oxygen and hydrogen contained in water, releasing hydrogen in the process.

"I was cleaning a crucible containing liquid alloys of gallium and aluminum," Woodall said. "When I added water to this alloy -- talk about a discovery -- there was a violent poof."

{Laughing} BOOM! Some of the greatest discoveries in history have been made by accident.

What is left over is aluminum oxide and gallium. In the engine, the byproduct of burning hydrogen is water.

"No toxic fumes are produced," Woodall said.

Good for the environment.

"When and if fuel cells become economically viable, our method would compete with gasoline at $3 per gallon even if aluminum costs more than a dollar per pound."

Recycling the aluminum oxide byproduct and developing a lower grade of gallium could bring down costs, making the system more affordable, Woodall said.

The Purdue Research Foundation holds title to the primary patent, which has been filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. An Indiana startup company, AlGalCo LLC., has received a license for the exclusive right to commercialize the process.

But of course I’m sure someone, somewhere, will find a way to keep costs regulated, and find a way that you will have to pay for a process. But in the long run, this is GREAT news. Now these folks just have to get by Big Oil, the Government {Hugh Tax loss with doing away with Gasoline}, The Service Station Industry, Politicians who are invested in Oil. You know, Like Al Gore? And all the others out there attempting to cash in on AF. Good luck.

But independence from ANY foreign oil, clean, no, yes 0 pollution, and readily available? This is a no lose possibility. This is good news.

Attack on Rush Limbaugh, and Free Speech.

Remember when I reported this.

The decision to press for re-establishment of the Fairness Doctrine now seems to have developed for two reasons. "First, [Democrats] failed on the radio airwaves with Air America, no one wanted to listen," says a senior adviser to Pelosi. "Conservative radio is a huge threat and political advantage for Republicans and we have had to find a way to limit it.

STOP! Hold it a second. {Laughing} Give them an A for honesty. "No one wanted to listen." {Laughing} Truer words were never spoken. But THIS is not the reason the Fairness Doctrine was in place. They DID and CAN have as many radio stations they want. That is not their problem. Their problem is that contrary to some "polls" out there, there are not enough "Looneys" out there to support them. That is NONE’s fault but their’s alone.

Second, it looks like the Republicans are going to have someone in the presidential race who has access to media in ways our folks don't want, so we want to make sure the GOP has no advantages going into 2008."

Translation time folks. They will do ANYTHING to win in 08. They remember Reagan. They are talking about Fred Thompson. The fact he was an actor. We all know what happened with Reagan. They are afraid that because Fred Thompson was an actor, he will have more chances to be on TV, and on the radio. Uh, OK. Can you tell me how much air time, print, and attention Clinton and Obama get? {Sigh} Thompson is not even officially RUNNING yet.

According to another Democrat leadership aide, Pelosi and her team are focused on several targets in the fight, including Rush Limbaugh and the Salem Radio Network. In fact, Kucinich's staff has begun investigating Salem, one of the fastest growing radio networks in the country, which features such popular -- and highly rated -- conservative hosts as Bill Bennett and Michael Medved, and Christian hosts such as Dr. Richard Land.

"They are identifying senior employees, their political activities and their political giving," says a Government Reform committee staffer. "Salem is a big target, but the big one is going to be Limbaugh. We know we can't shut him up, but we want to make life a bit more difficult for him.

Well, at the top of the 2pm hour, Rush told his audience that NBC’s "The Today Show" was going to do a piece on his playing the parody song entitled "Barack The Magic Negro." They said to have even had the "Video" for it. They feel that, like Imas, this is crossing the line and perhapse Rush should meet the same fate.

OK, here is the problems they are about to face if they go with this.

One, Rush has been playing this song for the past two months. Noone is upset about it, including Barack. When doing an interview with Radio Show host PAUL W. SMITH, the enchange went like this.

OBAMA: (Laughing.) You know, I have not heard it but I've heard of it. I confess that I don't listen to Rush on a daily basis. On the other hand, I'm not one of these people who -- who takes myself so seriously that I get offended by -- by every -- every comment made about me. You know, the -- you know, what Rush does is entertainment, and although it's probably not something that I listen to much, I don't --

PAUL W. SMITH: But you said not every day, so you do listen a little then, and why wouldn't you?

OBAMA: I don't mind. I don't mind -- I don't mind folks poking fun at me. That's part of the job.

The self appointed representative of the entire Africa-American community does not have a problem with it. On CNN’s Showbiz Tonight "A. J. Hammer," and his guest was the Reverend Sharpton. Here's the question from the reporter, A. J. Hammer, and the Reverend’s answer.

HAMMER: You look at a guy like Rush Limbaugh, okay? He has certainly said things and then later apologized for them. He talks about Barack Obama on his show all the time. He has referred to that man as a Halfrican. He has played a song called "Barack the Magic Negro." On surface, I find that offensive. A lot of people find that offensive. But the outrage over that paled in comparison. Where do you draw the line and decide who you go after?

SHARPTON: I don't know, because Mr. Lumbard [sic] has done years of stuff against me, now Obama, others. He has a right to do that with individuals. That is not -- we're talking about when you castigate a race or a gender, and he's very, very careful that he will hit individuals. I think he wanted us to come after that.

NO he doesn’t. He is not bating you. He is making fun of the LWL {Left Wing Looneys} and the MMD {Mass Media Drones} They are the ones obsessed with Obama’s race. He is illustrating the absurd by being absurd. This brings me to problem number two. He isn’t the one who came up with the phrase. LA Times -Obama the 'Magic Negro' By David Ehrenstein, L.A.-based DAVID EHRENSTEIN writes about Hollywood and politics.March 19, 2007

AS EVERY CARBON-BASED life form on this planet surely knows, Barack Obama, the junior Democratic senator from Illinois, is running for president. Since making his announcement, there has been no end of commentary about him in all quarters — musing over his charisma and the prospect he offers of being the first African American to be elected to the White House.

But it's clear that Obama also is running for an equally important unelected office, in the province of the popular imagination — the "Magic Negro."

The Magic Negro is a figure of postmodern folk culture, coined by snarky 20th century sociologists, to explain a cultural figure who emerged in the wake of Brown vs. Board of Education. "He has no past, he simply appears one day to help the white protagonist," reads the description on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magical_Negro .

He's there to assuage white "guilt" (i.e., the minimal discomfort they feel) over the role of slavery and racial segregation in American history, while replacing stereotypes of a dangerous, highly sexualized black man with a benign figure for whom interracial sexual congress holds no interest.

As might be expected, this figure is chiefly cinematic — embodied by such noted performers as Sidney Poitier, Morgan Freeman, Scatman Crothers, Michael Clarke Duncan, Will Smith and, most recently, Don Cheadle. And that's not to mention a certain basketball player whose very nickname is "Magic."

Poitier really poured on the "magic" in "Lilies of the Field" (for which he won a best actor Oscar) and "To Sir, With Love" (which, along with "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner," made him a No. 1 box-office attraction). In these films, Poitier triumphs through yeoman service to his white benefactors. "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" is particularly striking in this regard, as it posits miscegenation without evoking sex. (Talk about magic!)

The same can't quite be said of Freeman in "Driving Miss Daisy," "Seven" and the seemingly endless series of films in which he plays ersatz paterfamilias to a white woman bedeviled by a serial killer. But at least he survives, unlike Crothers in "The Shining," in which psychic premonitions inspire him to rescue a white family he barely knows and get killed for his trouble. This heart-tug trope is parodied in Gus Van Sant's "Elephant." The film's sole black student at a Columbine-like high school arrives in the midst of a slaughter, helps a girl escape and is immediately gunned down. See what helping the white man gets you?

And what does the white man get out of the bargain? That's a question asked by John Guare in "Six Degrees of Separation," his brilliant retelling of the true saga of David Hampton — a young, personable gay con man who in the 1980s passed himself off as the son of none other than the real Sidney Poitier. Though he started small, using the ruse to get into Studio 54, Hampton discovered that countless gullible, well-heeled New Yorkers, vulnerable to the Magic Negro myth, were only too eager to believe in his baroque fantasy. (One of the few who wasn't fooled was Andy Warhol, who was astonished his underlings believed Hampton's whoppers. Clearly Warhol had no need for the accouterment of interracial "goodwill.")

But the same can't be said of most white Americans, whose desire for a noble, healing Negro hasn't faded. That's where Obama comes in: as Poitier's "real" fake son.

The senator's famously stem-winding stump speeches have been drawing huge crowds to hear him talk of uniting rather than dividing. A praiseworthy goal. Consequently, even the mild criticisms thrown his way have been waved away, "magically." He used to smoke, but now he doesn't; he racked up a bunch of delinquent parking tickets, but he paid them all back with an apology. And hey, is looking good in a bathing suit a bad thing?

The only mud that momentarily stuck was criticism (white and black alike) concerning Obama's alleged "inauthenticty," as compared to such sterling examples of "genuine" blackness as Al Sharpton and Snoop Dogg. Speaking as an African American whose last name has led to his racial "credentials" being challenged — often several times a day — I know how pesky this sort of thing can be.

Obama's fame right now has little to do with his political record or what he's written in his two (count 'em) books, or even what he's actually said in those stem-winders. It's the way he's said it that counts the most. It's his manner, which, as presidential hopeful Sen. Joe Biden ham-fistedly reminded us, is "articulate." His tone is always genial, his voice warm and unthreatening, and he hasn't called his opponents names (despite being baited by the media).

Like a comic-book superhero, Obama is there to help, out of the sheer goodness of a heart we need not know or understand. For as with all Magic Negroes, the less real he seems, the more desirable he becomes. If he were real, white America couldn't project all its fantasies of curative black benevolence on him.

{Laughing} This is THEM calling him the "Magic Negro" NOT Rush. Yet they want to report Rush a bigot because he repeated THEM. Got to love it.

Problem number three, and possibly the BIGGEST problem they WILL have, if they decide to go with this on Monday morning? The video. Rush Limbaugh is a RADIO guy. He has a RADIO show. He is not in the business of making videos. OK REAL slow so even Liberals can understand this. Radio is AUDIO. This means that you use the things on the side of your head. They are called EARS. Some are large, ask Obama, some are small. They can be pierced or not. They are used to pick up sound waves. A radio show produces sound waves for your ears to pick up on. Any visual effects of this, are those created in the LISTENER’s own mind.

Eyes, are used to see imagines with. They can be brown, blue, hazel, green, ETC. Some even get different color contacts to put in them to make them appear to be a different color than they naturally are. They pick up things like TV, nature, one’s surroundings, and yes VIDEOS. What would be the point for a radio guy, to use video?

He did not create the video. He has told EVERYONE that it is not his. He nor the EIB had ANYTHING whatsoever to do with the Video.

I warned you folks about this. They came right out and TOLD you what they were planning to do. Now the MMD Guru, George Soros has spoken. He told the MMD, that write and report only what they are told to, go after Rush. I can hear him now. "We cannot win. But go after him anyway. When we lose, we will spin it to create a stir of support to bring back the Fairness Doctrine."

You see folks. They CANNOT win. Rush OWNS the EIB. He IS the Boss. Noone can fire him. He is on over 600 radio stations. He is the number one Radio show with the biggest following EVER. But, big BUT, if they go after him a fail, they maybe able to stir it up enough to garner enough support for the what they REALLY want to do. Since Rush is to big to take down, the Fairness Doctrine will legally limit his power. Get the point?

Like I said before. These are little people with a big mouth. They tried to compete. But nobody wanted to listen to their daily hatred. So since they could not play, they want to take their ball and go home. There is another problem with this. It’s NOT their ball.

Should be interesting to see what the "Today Show" does with this on Monday. I will be recording. I’ll let you know.

The Iraqi Support Bill

Hey folks,

That is this bi-partisan meeting on the Iraq bill. According to AP- Iraq bill stymied despite talks By ANNE FLAHERTY, Associated Press Writer

The White House and Congress failed to strike a deal Friday after exchanging competing offers on an Iraq war spending bill that Democrats said should set a date for U.S. troops to leave.

"Timelines for withdrawal are just not the right way to go, and that cannot be the basis for funding our troops," said Joshua Bolten, White House chief of staff, after a nearly 90-minute meeting on Capitol Hill.

That’s the problem folks. That right there is the sticking point. The LWL {Left Wing Looneys} and their leaders Traitor Pelosi and Traitor Reid, will not let go of their quest for tyranny. They want to strip the President of Commander and Chief status and micro manage this war. They want complete control. The President, of course, will never agree to this. So our soldiers keep dying without the funds they need because of the LWL playing politics with their lives. This was domed before they even met.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said they offered to grant Bush the authority to waive the deadlines. They said they also suggested they would drop billions of dollars in proposed domestic spending that Bush opposed, in exchange for his acceptance of identifying a withdrawal date.

It’s not as easy as they want you to believe. OK, so they put in a provisions for the President to wave the time lines? So how about, NO TIMETABLES! If they are pointless, then leave them out. Right?

The offer marked the Democrats' first major concessions in a weeks long battle with the White House on war funding.

"To say I was disappointed in the meeting is an understatement," Reid, D-Nev., told reporters. "I really did expect that the president would accept some accountability for what we're trying to accomplish here."

He knows, as well as WE know, exactly what you are trying to do here. Not going to happen. The accountability of the funds NOT getting to the troops is YOURS. Not President Bush. Now the President IS willing to negociate.

For their part, the administration and congressional Republicans said they were willing to consider legislation that sets standards for the Iraqi government and possibly restricts U.S. aid if Baghdad fails to live up to its promises.

In question, however, is whether the White House will accept binding consequences if the Iraqi government fails. Bush's aides say the president should be able to waive those restrictions — an offer Democrats have said is too weak.

According to GOP and Democratic aides, Pelosi and Reid did not reject Bolten's suggestion of setting benchmarks, but also did not embrace it. Their focus was identifying a date U.S. troops will leave Iraq, the aides said.

That’s the point. Do not set timetables.

Also not ruled out is that Democrats will send Bush next week another bill he might reject.

"I was a little surprised that (the) Democratic leaders, at least so far, seem so dug in on that position" of setting a timetable, Bolten said. "Because it's a position that ... the president vetoed and which was sustained in" both chambers.

The Democrats' insistence on a timetable comes as the party is under substantial pressure not to cede ground on the unpopular and costly war, in its fifth year. Particularly in the House, where a large number of members were elected last fall on anti-war platforms, many Democratic rank-and-file say they would oppose any legislation that does not advance the idea of bringing troops home.

{Laughing} They are afraid of George Soros. These little people are afraid of Moveon.org. News Flash Pelosi and Reid. You are United States Senators, NOT Soros Senators. Your responsibility is to ALL of America. This is why Traitors Pelosi and Reid show simply get with the rest of America, support the troops, or step down.

"It is clear that the difference between the Democrats and the president is the issue of accountability," said Pelosi, D-Calif. "He will not accept any accountability or responsibility for what has happened there."

Bunk.

Attending the rare meeting on Capitol Hill were Bolten, White House national security adviser Stephen Hadley and White House budget director Rob Portman, as well as Reid, Pelosi, Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and Reps. Jerry Lewis and David Obey. Lewis, R-Calif., is the top Republican on the House Appropriations Committee and Obey, D-Wis., is chairman.

House Republican Leader John Boehner, who also attended, mocked the Democrats for offering to eliminate domestic spending — money they once defended as crucial — in exchange for troop withdrawals.

"What a principled stand to take when we're talking about our men and women in uniform in Iraq taking on the enemy in a war that I think most Americans want to win," said Boehner, R-Ohio.

Pelosi said negotiations with the White House were not dead, but she and Reid made it clear they would proceed in drafting a new bill to be voted on next week.

Which will include a timetable, which President Bush will veto. Can you say STALLING?

The Democrats declined to say what their next bill will look like in light of Friday's meeting. But they insisted, as they have done for weeks, that nothing — including a timetable on the war — was off the table.

"Our troops will be funded," she said.

Just like immigration, it really is simple. Enforce the boarders FIRST. No timetables in the bill. Then the troops WILL be funded.
