Happy FRIDAY to ya. I do not HATE Bill Maher. I think he is an Idiot. A Mindless, Liberal, Puppet. I think he wouldn't understand Reality if it hit him upside his overly inflated head. I do not find him funny. I do not know why anyone even watches the Show. But HATE? I do not waste my time hating what I can not change. You know, as the saying goes, "You can educate Ignorance, but you can't fix Stupid."

However, having said all that, this IS interesting. Not surprising though. Another thing you must remember is it is ALWAYS open season on Christians and ANYTHING having to do with Jesus. I would love to see him come out and say something like, "You know, I was thinking about bin Laden, and you know what? Man, Allah really F---ed him." Yeah, you would NEVER hear that.

AMAC, the 250,000 member Association of Mature American Citizens today called for the cancellation of Bill Maher’s TV show on HBO after Maher used the F word describing what Jesus did to Tim Tebow following the loss of his Denver Broncos to Buffalo on Saturday.
Like I said, can you imagine? "You know, I was thinking about bin Laden, and you know what? The way our Troops went in there and kicked his ass? Man, Allah really F---ed him."

“It is one thing to mock a religious figure for a few cheap laughs, it is another thing to blaspheme Jesus, a young man, who many believe gave his life as a sacrifice for all humankind.” said Dan Weber, AMAC’s president. “Maher evidently doesn't think Jesus is the divine Son of God, but he has no right to insult millions of Christians who do”.

“Has American society sunk so low that nothing is considered sacred? If we fail to denounce Maher and stand up for decency what will become of us? Should we tolerate this kind of ill mannered behavior and ignore our responsibility to provide our children with a world where respect and dignity are virtues to be strived for?”
No. Things ARE consider Sacred. Government funded Social Programs. Islam. Atheism. Pretty much every Religion BUT Christianity. Barack Obama. Socialistic Ideals and Scams. Free Rides. You know. GOVERNMENT itself, in some areas of the Country, is considered Sacred.

AMAC, which describes itself as defending the traditional values of Faith, Family and individual Freedom, is calling for its members to contact HBO which airs Maher’s TV show. Weber said, “We should not become angry at the thoughtless utterances issued by Bill Maher.Instead we should invoke the great power of prayer to fill him with a common sense of decency and respect for those of us who revere our religion.”

“Whether you are a member of AMAC or not, please join us in this effort, write and email HBO and demand the Bill Maher show be cancelled. ”

Social Equality Means Saving The Planet?

Everyone knows that Global Warming, "Man-Made Global Warming" is a SCAM. More and more Scientists, even some of the same ones Gore cited in his Propaganda Movie, say it is a SCAM. Or the Science is unsettled to say the least. Even mainstream News Outlets like the Wall Street Journal are starting to tell the truth. Wall Street Journal: No Need to Panic About Global Warming

There's no compelling scientific argument for drastic action to 'decarbonize' the world's economy.
We have talked about Natural Cycles. That is all we have. It's cold, hot, dry, wet, storms, no storms. Really bad storms that hit land. Storms that never make it to land. Snow, no snow. Cycles. We warm, we cool. Most "Experts" you talk to today say we are COOLING now. Hence the name change from Global Warming, to Climate Change. Well, of course, the Climate is changing. It changes all the time. So whatever the weather, they can say, SEE, man-made Climate Change and it's going to kill you all. Unless of course you,

1 - Listen to us and believe the Scam.
2- Give up certain Freedoms, and allow US to think for you, and tell you how to live your life.
3- Give us your money.
4- Try to convince others that what you are doing IS the right thing to do.

Then, and only then, when WE are in charge of all, will we have a Utopia here on Earth. You will be a hero, because YOU helped to save the Planet.

If this was just a few kooks out there, the Chicken Little Crowd, then it would be kinda funny. But it's NOT. It is those that seek total Power, Control, and Money. Check this out in the AFP - UN panel says retool world economy for sustainability

The world can no longer afford to ignore the environmental cost of economic growth and must redefine the very concept of national wealth, a UN panel of heads of state and environment ministers said Monday.

The panel challenged leaders to recognise that "current global development is unsustainable."

"We need to chart a new, more sustainable course for the future, one that strengthens equality and economic growth while protecting our planet," UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said in Addis Ababa to mark the release of the panel's report, which outlines more than 50 policy recommendations.

By 2030, the report warned, the planet will need at least 50 percent more food, 45 percent more energy and 30 percent more water.
{Sigh} 40 years ago we were heading for a mini Ice Age. We only had like 10 years to act. Then Global Warming. We only had like 20 years to act. Then we only have 10 years. Again. Then the Sea Levels were going to rise and wipe out entire Countries. NOW they are telling us that by 2030?? Really? Wait, I thought the World was going to end THIS year. Is it not? {Smile}

These needs are emerging "at a time when environmental boundaries are throwing up new limits to supply," it said.

Continuing along the same path as today risks "irreversible damage to both ecosystems and human communities."

Entitled "Resilient People, Resilient Planet: A Future Worth Choosing," the 100-page report seeks to shape in broad strokes the agenda for the Rio+20 summit this summer.

The June 20-22 event in Rio de Janeiro takes place 20 years after the landmark 1992 Earth Summit that set down the UN conventions for protecting biodiversity and tackling global warming.

Led by Finnish President Tarja Halonen and South African President Jacob Zuma, the 22-member panel said a new blueprint for growth and low-carbon prosperity must be "mainstreamed" into economic policy as quickly as possible.

Social and environmental costs must be factored into how the world prices and measures economic activity, and into a revised measure of wealth that goes beyond the narrow calculus of gross domestic product (GDP), it said.

"Our report makes clear that sustainable development is more important than ever given the multiple crises now enveloping the world," Zuma said in a statement.
Remember last year, or was it the year before, that they were saying this is the very Last Chance to do anything before we all Burn. They go into their little Climate Talks, and what did they decide in this "Last Chance Meeting?" Uh, to talk more about it next Year, or maybe the Year after.

The report called for:

-- a new nexus between food, water and energy. "All three need to be fully integrated, not treated separately, if we are to deal with the global food security crisis";

-- a stronger interface between science and policy. "We must define what scientists refer to as planetary boundaries" beyond which human activity could wreck the planet;

-- reducing social exclusion and closing the widening gap of social inequality.

European Union Commissioner for Climate Action Connie Hedegaard, one of the report's authors, said it should be a "wake up" call for action.

"Government support for fossil fuel industry is about seven times more than for renewable energy," she said in a statement.

"We simply can't continue as if business as usual was the cheapest solution. It is not."

Hedegaard said the Rio+20 summit was an opportunity to "kick off this global transition towards a sustainable growth model for the 21st century."
This is pathetically absurd. It really is. "Closing the widening gap of social inequality." Social Equality means saving the Planet? Well yeah, in their eyes. Take everyone that has money and then they will be equal to the peasants out there. They never talk about helping those with nothing get something. They always talk about TAKING from those that do.

Folks, what this is all about is that they need to find new ways to FORCE people, and in this case, entire Countries to give them Money. There is no more money to be had with the Global Warming Bunk. None. There are very few people that still believe this garbage, hook, line, and sinker. So they want to create new Laws to TAKE the Money. But don't worry. It's for your own good.

Why is it so important to put a fiscal Conservative in the White House? One of the main reasons is simple. Debt. Look around you folks. Obama and Liberal Policies by Congress have spent more money in just over a Thousand Days than this entire Country has spent from it's founding. That would be well over 200 years for those who need a little extra help in understanding. What do we have for all that spending?

Record high Unemployment, Foreclosures, Credit fails, Bankruptcies, and higher costs for all things. Along with all this, we have record high and near uncontrollable Debt. So what is the answer? Focus on the problem. It is not a Revenue Problem. It is a Spending Problem.

Lets look at California shall we? According to Capital Alert - Controller: State to run out of cash in March without action

California will run out of cash by early March if the state does not take swift action to find $3.3 billion through payment delays and borrowing, according to a letter state Controller John Chiang sent to state lawmakers today.

The announcement is surprising since lawmakers previously believed the state had enough cash to last through the fiscal year that ends in June.

But Chiang said additional cash management solutions are needed because state tax revenues are $2.6 billion less than what Gov. Jerry Brown and state lawmakers assumed in their optimistic budget last year. Meanwhile, Chiang said, the state is spending $2.6 billion more than state leaders planned on.

I own Company ABC. Last year my Company made a $40 Million Dollar Profit. About $10 Million a Quarter. Along comes a Government Lib. They say, "That's too much money for you to make. That's not fair. We have people in this State that sit home and watch Opr,,,uh,,whatever is on TV during the day now, and we the State, need to take care of them. So we are going to take every penny you make over $5 Million a Quarter. That's only fair. Look at all the good you will be doing. We need your money to fund our Social Programs and keep our Party getting Votes to stay in power."

Well? I decide, enough is enough. So I start creating ways, most Legal, some maybe not, to make sure that my Company now only shows a, say, $6 Million Dollar Profit A Quarter. Or a Yearly Profit of $24 Million. Now even with all those new Rules and Taxes you came up with, you are only going to get $4 Million from me instead of the $20 Million you THOUGHT you were going to get.

Now you go on National Television, or in the Press, and say. "We have a Shortage of $16 Million." You see, you really don't. You never had it to begin with. Yet you went out and SPENT it already. That is NOT a Revenue Problem. It is a SPENDING Problem. You spent what you never had to begin with. Meanwhile, you know what you were getting back when I and my Company were making $40? Yup. About $8 to $10 Million a year. Now you make $4 Million.

Then again, if Taxes and oppressive Regulation continue, I will have to cut Jobs. The number one cost in any Company. I will have to Lay off People. They will no longer have a Job, meaning they will no longer be able to make their Mortgage, Car Payments, inject NEW money into the Economy, and will most likely end up on the Government Dole costing YOU even more money that you do not have. If you continue to attack me and make it unaffordable to do business here? I will go elsewhere, where I can make the Profit, pay less wages, and not worry about YOU at all. Now you will not even have the $4 Million. AND, you will have even more people on the Dole.

But spending it BEFORE you get it is just flat out Stupidity. Would you do this in your owe Private life? You assume you are getting, well, lets say a Bonus from Work. Every year you get say $1000.00 Bucks. So the time is coming, and you assume you will get it again this year. You make all these plans in anticipation of this. Do you go out and spend it BEOFRE you get it? What if the Company can't or won't do it this year? Is it THEIR fault if you go out and spend it? Or is it yours?

As I have said before, look at Liberal run States vs Conservative run States for the truth. Look at California, New York, Illinois. Then Look at Wisconsin, Alaska, ETC. Look at the major change in New Jersey. Liberalism FAILS every time it is tried. We have tried it for the past 5 to 6 years. Time for real Hope for a REAL Change. Again, this is not Party politics, or an Anti-Obama rant. Look around you. Can we AFFORD another 4 more years of THIS?

Before we get to that, I want to give another Kudos to the folks that organized the Port Salerno Seafood Festival. It was a great time. Great food, great music, and all those People. I can't wait to see the numbers. Folks, I'm telling you, if you are EVER in Sunny South Florida during this time, you really have to check it out.

We got there about 11 am. Paid the Two Bucks and took the Trolley to the Fest. We walked around and was thoroughly entertained by the Mermaids, uh, yeah, the Boys and I REALLY enjoyed the Mermaids, {Smile} Pirates, Musicians, to all the regular Folks there just like us. It truly was a great time. The only thing negative I would have to say is this. I know it's a Festival, but did we really have to be greeted right off the Trolley at 11 am, by Alcohol? Just saying. But all in all it was a GREAT time. We saw no problems, just folks having a GREAT time.

A Special thanks also goes out to Grace Place Community Church for setting up the kid Area. Bounce Houses, Pony Rides, Arts and Crafts. Just a fun and safe place to bring your Kids to burn off some of that energy.

I officially love this Radio Station..

Hey folks,

You all know that I am a Radio Talk Junkie. Use to be I did some flipping around the Dial, listening to this or that Show. Then one faithful morning I tuned into 850 WFTL, and found The Conversation with Rich Stevens and Dave McBride. The greatest morning Show on the Air Today. I think I mentioned them once of twice, and you may have even heard me on the Show, once or twice..{Smile}

Well, this got my attention. I love Dave's News Casts, and found he also does the EARLY AM Show. All news with a flare of Entertainment. So I tuned in even earlier. But like many, I turned the Dial at 12 pm for another little Radio Show that goes on at this time. But one day, and I'll be honest, a fill in Host was, well, filling in. So I stayed on 850 and listened to The Joyce Kaufman Show Folks, I'm telling you, if you give Joyce say a week? You will be hooked.

Well, something has been happening over at 850 Radio. They are changing and growing, 50,000 watts of Power, new Building, new concept, new name. They are now "Big Talk 850". Live, Local, and fun. The goal is to BE local. You see all the Hosts from Sun up to Sun Down live right here in Sunny South Florida. This means, if YOU live here, what effects you, effects THEM. They are in it with ya. Isn't that much better than someone sitting in an Office on the other side of the Country attempting to tell you what the Traffic is like. Or what upcoming local events are. Or whatever? Seriously. If you call up, they can relate because they are in it too. Great Concept.

Well, now I do not even have a reason to switch the Dial at 3pm. Nope. They they now have a NEW Host at 3pm. Paul Barsky, who does the "Barsky Show." Now this is a Brand New Show. It just started Wednesday. They do not even have a picture of him on the Website, nor any information yet. But I'll tell you what, I checked out the Show Friday, and I will admit, I haven't laughed so hard as I did Friday, for a while. It was fresh, entertaining, and just plain fun.

Look, if you truly want to be entertained, you just need to check out the new Big Talk 850. It really is that simple. No need to change the dial. Especially if you live here in Sunny South Florida. These are not Show that are hard core, down the line, Political Shows. They are REAL Entertainment. There is something for everyone. Energy Means American Security

I'm going to attack you. I know you can beat me. I take your Ammo.

Hey folks

Lets try it this way, shall we? I do not like you. I have something you need. I do like your money. I sell you what you need, and I charge you whatever I choose to. You pay it. You do not have a choice. I have it. You need it.

So this relationship goes on for a while. Then I say, you know what? If you wish to keep getting what I have, you better start doing this. You say no. OK. You are cut off. You say? What?

So I decide that this is not good enough. I decide to teach you a lesson. I'm going to attack you. I know you can beat me. I know you have a lot of Guns. But I'm the one that has the Ammo you need for those guns. So? I take your Ammo. Kinda hard to fight back if your guns are empty.

This is how we have been operating in the World. The World runs on Oil. Right, Wrong, or Indifferent, that is just a fact. We need Oil for our daily lives, our Economy, and to heat our homes. Why do you think that the Oil Sanctions are place on Iran. To disrupt their daily lives, and to attempt to get them to do something we want them to do. It's effective to a degree.

However, Iran has others helping them out. Russia and China are two that are helping them. There are a few others. But lets say the UN decides that we have to start doing something, or that what we are doing is against their Will. Imagine if Countries put and Oil Sanction on us.

Now picture someone like Iran wishing to attack us. All they have to do is stop our supply of Oil. Not only do we need Oil to drive our Cars, Heat our Homes, and supply Power to all, we need it for our Machines of War as well. Like taking Ammo from Guns, a Tank or a Jet is nothing without Oil.

So for years we have foolishly relied on the good will of those that do not like us to begin with. For years, for solely Political reasons, we have ignored our own resources. Now, as the World grows more and more dangerous, we are decreasing our own production and increasing our dependence on these outside entities. We have to be concerned with what is going on all over the World. We have to intervene in some cases, for no other reason, than we need the supply of Oil to continue to flow.

If we have started Drilling when President Bush said we would, we would long since started seeing the benefits of it. If we did not place a moratorium on ALL Drilling based on a freak accident, or whatever, we would not have seen some on the negative effects we have now by not doing anything. If Obama would just say Yes to the Keystone Pipeline, we could have up to 90 percent of our Liquid Energy from right here, and from our friends in the North.

If we were using our own resources, we would have the luxury of picking and choosing what battles to fight outside our own Boarders. We would not have to listen to those that do not like us. We would not have to worry if we could defend ourselves if needed.

Sometimes when talking about American Security, you must realize that this does not always mean flying Planes into Buildings. It could be as simple as blocking our Supply of Oil. Rising the prices to levels that hurt our Economy. Or just saying NO to us.

What would you call someone who chooses not to fix National Security, costing America zero, and increasing Jobs, and Revenue along the way? Think about that..Be right back.

Look at Canada. So much revenue that Canadians get free money.

Hey folks,

Our National Debt is what? We are spending what? We are throwing away how much money on what? Truth is, with any business and or individual, more regulations, taxes, and interference, means less revenue. It just does.

If I'm making 10 Billion a Quarter, and someone says, I'm going to tak,,,wait a second. Did you see Apple's numbers? Seriously? Over a hundred million IPhones sold at $500.00 a pop? something like 25 million IPads? At what a pop? How much "Windfall Profit" is Apple making and why is there no outrage over this? {Sigh} I know, I know. Anyway, where was I, oh yeah, I make 10 Billion in a Quarter and someone says to me, "That's too much. You do not deserve it. We are going to take everything over, say 5 Billion. And look at all the good that will do." You will never see it. I will do whatever I have to do, to keep my profit margin under that 5 Bil..

If you Tax me? I will raise my Prices for my Customers and will find Legal Loopholes to hide my money. If I have to, I'll take my Business elsewhere where I do not have to worry about all that. Fact is, higher Taxes and Oppressive Regulations mean LESS revenue. Not more.

Now we have talked about American Security and Jobs. Now lets talk about new and nearly guaranteed Revenue. I'm not talking peanuts here. I am talking Hundreds of Billions, if not a Trillion Dollars a year. Increased Revenue for EVERY Local, State, and Federal Governments. Look at Canada. So much revenue that Canadians get free money. Every year they get a check for Thousands of dollars, plus, whatever they may get in tax refunds. How would YOU like to get free money for no other reason than the Government made too much money dealing with our own Energy resources? This is not a Dream. It could be a Reality.

Think about that Reality. No more worries about $4.00 a gallon Gas. No more wondering how Grandma will heat her home. No more concerns over what is happening in the Middle East. Nope. None. Not when talking Energy at least.

Folks, JUST the Keystone Pipeline could give us the Reality of 92 percent of all our Liquid Fuel being drawn from our own resources, and our friends in the North. Couple that with the Shale Energy revolution, and possible new Drilling? We are now talking revenue in the Trillions. Jobs in the Millions. American Security fortified due to the fact ONE HUNDRED PERCENT self producing and usage of Energy. We can get there.

I will ask again. What do you call a person that rejects Hundreds of Billions into the Trillions of Dollars in NEW Revenue in an Economy where we have seen our debt rise to uncontrollable levels? What do you call a person that CAUSES hundreds of Thousands of Job Losses in a Country with record high Unemployment? With Tens Of Thousand of new Unemployed, meaning no paycheck, meaning they can no longer pay Mortgages, meaning even more Home Foreclosures. What do you call a person that increases Energy Cost for every Man, Woman, and Child in this Country? As we already know, increased Energy Costs MEAN Increased EVERYTHING Costs.

More importantly, what do you call a person that does all these things, on purpose?!? Intentionally?!? With a Plan? Somehow ignorant, and or Stupid, just doesn't cover it. We have such a person in this Country that has done all these things, and continues to do all these things, his name is Barack Obama. President Barack Obama.

I really do not get it. Someone came to me and said, you know Pete, we know that you are looking at losing your House. We know you are in Debt beyond your ability to pay, and we want to help you. All you have to do is allow us to operate in your back yard. We will come in, give you free money, make sure you no longer have to rely on anyone else to meet your needs in area Y. Oh, did we mention that on top of all that, we will give you what you need and already pay too much for? When we leave, you will not even know we were there. It would be a no brainer for me. I would not be saying NO. I would be saying Welcome. Do your thing.

Even businesses on the leading edge of the “green revolution,” crony capitalism and lobbying for dollars are faring poorly. After lapping up $1.5 billion in government red-ink subsidies and loan guarantees, three US solar companies filed for bankruptcy and fired over 2,000 workers. And still the Energy Department shoveled more billions of tax dollars into more wind and solar projects, despite voter objections. DOE also sponsored programs that cost $20 million to create 14 jobs and weatherize four Seattle houses in a year. It spent $80 billion to create 225,000 “clean energy” jobs – at $356,000 apiece. It shells out $6 billion a year to grow corn on an area bigger than Indiana, and convert it into ethanol that gets a third less mileage per gallon than gasoline.
There is now a Battery Company going bye-bye. This means even more Jobs lost. More money wasted. How many Billions have we thrown away? Green Company after Green Company going Bankrupt and out of Business. Taking with them JOBS. I love this. "DOE also sponsored programs that cost $20 million to create 14 jobs and weatherize four Seattle houses in a year." {Laughing} If it were not so serious, that would be funny. "$80 billion to create 225,000 “clean energy” jobs – at $356,000 apiece." That most of end up going bye-bye themselves. How would you like to make $356,000?

Now Obama is spending Money that should be paying off the Debt. For failed Policies and Agendas. He is adding to it. Truth is, if we were not giving these Green Companies Hundreds of Billions, they would all be gone. Most anyway.

Obama is also killing Jobs by his outward and open attacks on anything Natural. Coal, Oil, and Natural Gas. Hundreds of Thousands of real, well paid, Benefit giving, American Jobs. Hundreds of Thousands of Oil Jobs gone via Moratorium. More with the de-facto Moratorium. He just said NO to the Keystone Pipeline that would create Tens of Thousands of jobs, nearly overnight. NO to new Exploration and Drilling that would create Hundreds of Thousands of Jobs. NO to Coal. Costing Thousands of more Jobs lost. He is openly seeking to stop Shale Energy Production by attempting to stop Hydraulic Fracturing. If successful, more Thousands of Jobs will be lost yet again.

In contrast to the "Green Energy Industry?"

The petroleum industry alone currently supports some 9.2 million jobs, but could do much more. Recent studies by Wood McKenzie, ICF International and other analysts conclude that opening currently off-limits onshore and offshore areas could generate an additional $800 billion in government revenues and another 1.4 million jobs, by 2030. That includes primary jobs for roughnecks on rigs; secondary jobs in steel making, construction, pipelines, refineries, transportation and other sectors; and indirect jobs in hotel, restaurant, retail and other sectors that benefit from the increased energy, payrolls and economic activity. We could do likewise with coal, nuclear and hydroelectric projects.

But this Administration seems little interested in actually creating Jobs. They seem more bent on furthering agendas. Playing Politics.

Don't be fooled by Obama coming out and saying he was going to auction off Leases. He does not care about new Oil. He is just attempting to get Votes. He says he will do this, yet there are so many strings attached that it will not be worth it for anyone to do it. Not to mention, if there is no Oil? It's like this. Someone tells you that you can go dig for Gold in Area A. So you buy that right. You go and scan the area, you find little to nothing. However, all indications are that Area B does contain Gold. So you go back and they say, "Sorry. We gave you a lease for Area A, So unless you spend a few Million on the Lease you already have, we will not give you one for B." Ask yourself, would you throw that money away KNOWING that there is no Gold? Or at least not enough to make up the cost of going to get it? Of course not. That is what the Government is doing. They KNOW that there is no Oil in these areas, or the Companies WOULD be Drilling as we speak.

No folks, Energy really does equal Jobs. The right Energy equals Hundreds of Thousands of real, well paid, Benefit giving, American Jobs. Not shells. Not phony. Not show. Not Temp. Real, well paid, Benefit giving, American Jobs.

We have record high Unemployment. If you are not working, you are not buying a new Home. You are not buying that new Car. You are not buying that new Monster Big Screen TV. If you are not working, you are not generating and injecting revenue into the Economy. More Jobs lost means more damage to an already hurting Economy.

All we ever hear is how brilliant Obama is. Then let me ask you this. If this is true, then he is doing all this on purpose. Right? If not, he is the most ignorant President we have ever had. I'm not sure if the real reason matters. The end result is the same. When one does not use the answer that is so crystal clear for everyone else to see, one would have to ask themselves, why? Would one not?

Most of you know I try to eat more healthy than I use to. You know I pay attention to Health News that is out there, and I bring it to you. We have talked about how this study shows you that this or that is bad for you today, tomorrow? Well, then it's not only OK, but it may even be good for you. Then again, with some of these studies, one has to wonder WHY they even did them in the first place. They go on and on for Pages and at the end they say things like, "We are not sure." Or, "Study does not prove or disprove original belief."

So I have told you many times, everything in moderation. If you are gaining wait, the best Diet in the World, works every time it is tried, on every one. The ELMM Diet. Eat Less Move More.

A new study has found that there is no direct correlation between the amount of fried food people eat and their risk of heart disease. Instead, the research found that long-term heart risk depended more on what kind of oil was used in the cooking process — olive oil and sunflower oil are considered the healthiest.

The study, published in the British Medical Journal, studied the eating and cooking habits of 40,000 people in Spain for nearly 15 years. The Mediterranean diet favored by most individuals in the study leans heavily on fried foods, particularly fried fish, but also the healthier olive and sunflower oils for the frying.
So as long as I Fry the Oreo in Sunflower Oil, it's all OK? Just kidding folks...

The Telegraph reports that study participants were then broken into four different groups, based on how often they ate fried foods. Over the course of the study there were 606 medical cases linked to heart disease, but those results were fairly evenly split between the four subsets. More from the study:

"In a Mediterranean country where olive and sunflower oils are the most commonly used fats for frying, and where large amounts of fried foods are consumed both at and away from home, no association was observed between fried food consumption and the risk of coronary heart disease or death."

Professor Michael Leitzmann from Germany's University of Regensburg said in the study that two similar research projects found comparable results showing no direct correlation between fried foods and heart disease.

"Taken together, the myth that frying food is generally bad for the heart is not supported by available evidence," Leitzmann wrote."However, this does not mean that frequent meals of fish and chips will have no health consequences," noting that the fried foods have higher calorie counts and are linked to obesity and high blood pressure.
Well, of course. If you eat an insane amount of anything, it will have a negative effect on you. If you eat Fast Food, say once in a while, a month, or even once a week, it's OK. Eat it Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, yeah, you may have an issue.

Now, before you throw caution to the wind and sign a Jumbaco petition, bear in mind that not only do those fatty foods contain more sodium and calories, most Americans use less healthy oils to fry their foods. And even more damaging, re-used cooking oils reportedly contain higher levels of saturated fats, which are linked to poor heart health.
Well, is this NOT why they are posting the Study. Use healthier Oil?

As Victoria Taylor, senior heart health dietitian at the British Heart Foundation, told the Telegraph, "We currently recommend swapping saturated fats like butter, lard or palm oil for unsaturated fats as a way of keeping your cholesterol down and this study gives further cause to make that switch...Regardless of the cooking methods used, consuming foods with high fat content means a high calorie intake. This can lead to weight gain and obesity, which is a risk factor for heart disease.
{Laughing} so even though this Study says Fried Food does not cause Heart Disease, the Author must not like the findings, has to add this? Hey folks,

It amazes me that some still do not understand what I mean when I say "The cost of Energy goes up, so does the cost of EVERYTHING else." It does truly amaze me that some can not get this concept. So I want to spend some time today talking about Relative Costs.

Factory A Produces Product B, Ships it to Store C, where you go and buy it. Lets start with Factory A. Factory A has to buy the Material to make Product B. They have to buy the Boxes to pack it in to ship it out. All this, most of the time, have to be Shipped IN. So Factory A has to pay the Fuel Costs to have that all shipped in BEFORE they even start Production.

Now that they have the Materials in route, they have to pay for the Energy to run the Factory. They need Electric to operate the Machines, keep the lights on, Heat, AC, ETC. So now the Materials arrive, and they Produce Product B. Lets say it cost them $1.00 to produce it.

After Production, they now pack it up and Ship it out. They now pay a Shipping or Delivery Company, say $1.00 to take it to Store C. Now Store C buys it for $2.25. That is to cover Costs and a little bit for a Profit. Now Product B is on the shelve waiting for you to come in and buy it. But wait...

Store C has to light the Sign, keep the Lights on, Heat, AC, ETC. as well. They now have to cover the Cost of buying the Product B. Plus a little bit to make a Profit. So Product B NOW costs you $3.25.

Now if the Price of Oil goes up? It will now cost MORE for this whole process. From buying the Material, Boxes, Power to produce, then Ship, ALL goes up. Now Product B costs $1.25 to Produce. $1.25 to Ship. Store C now has to buy it for $2.75. Store C's Electric Bill just went up also. So just to make about the same Profit, and cover the costs, Product B now cost you $3.75.

Do not forget, while all this is happening, YOUR Electric Bill just went up. It now cost you MORE to keep the lights on. More to heat your Home. More to run the AC. Go to the Gas Station to get fuel to go to Store C, or anywhere, it now cost YOU more there as well.

The decision to NOT run a Pipeline, Drill Here, or use our OWN resources in anyway, WILL effect ALL of us. It doesn't matter what side of the Political Isle you are on. It doesn't matter if you are Black or White. It doesn't matter what Religion you believe in. It WILL effect every Man, Woman, and Child in this Country. When I think about this, I think about those on Fixed Incomes. Retired People. Unemployed People. Disabled People. Even Single Family Homes. People that do NOT have unlimited resources. You know, like those in Congress and Government making these decisions for the rest of us.

All this is also leaving aside another absolute fact. That increasing our dependency on Foreign Governments, that do not like us to begin with, DECREASES our National Security and general well being. When you realize that all this can be avoided by simply saying YES, we will use our own resources. We WILL allow a Pipeline to go through our Great Country. We WILL create Tens to Hundreds of Thousands of new Jobs. We WILL decrease our dependency on Foreign Governments. We WILL reduce the Cost of EVERYTHING. Yet we do NOT do it. One would have to wonder, WHY?

“There certainly is a potential opportunity to connect the Bakken to the Gulf Coast,” Alex Pourbaix, TransCanada’s president of energy and oil pipelines, said in a telephone interview today. “That is obviously something we’ll be looking into over the next few weeks.”

I am an acute observer of People and Human Nature. I could go to a Mall, and sit for hours and just WATCH people. So you bring something like THIS, where there will be Hundreds of Thousands, if not MILLIONS of People, you KNOW I'll be there. Besides all that, I love Seafood. {Smile}

Folks, I'm telling ya, if you are EVER in Sunny South Florida during this time of year, you HAVE to check out the Port Salerno Seafood Fest. It is GREAT every time I go. Food, Music, and all those people. It really is a blast.

Obama and Michelle THINK they are Royalty.

Since Obama took Office, we have seen it. From Lavish Parties at the White House, to Lavish Trips abroad, to Record number of Golf Games and Vacations with the Rich and Famous. It is pretty clear. Obama and Michelle THINK they are Royalty. From Obama "Knighting" people into power, just declaring them in charge of this or that, to completely Ignoring the Constitution, Obama feels that he is OWED this Power. He is King. He is in Charge of the Obamanation. He is doing EVERYTHING he can to bring about a Country the way HE feels it should be. Forget what the Peasants think. They are too stupid to know what is good for them to begin with.

Here is the Problem. He has support. The Media has treated him as a Messiah. As a King. They refuse to investigate ANYHTING negative about him. We have a President that STILL has not released School Records, Health Records, or offered ANY proof whatsoever he IS who the Media has Portrayed him as. He and Queen Michelle take Lavish trips in DIFFERENT Air Crafts, Hours Apart. He reserves the Entire Taj Mahal. The Queen goes on massive Shopping Trips on the Tax Payer's Dime. Yet someone looking to run against him gets attacked and criticised about buying Jewelry for his Wife. With his own Money. We still do not know a SINGLE Ex Girlfriend, or Boyfriend of Obama's. No one knows a single ex-student of Obama's. No one remembers working with him in College . No past Classmates? No past Landlords, Friends, ETC. Nothing. Yet anyone DARES oppose the King, is attacked and destroyed by the Media.

Obama Ruled????? Really? Obama RULED?!?!? But do not worry The All Knowing, All Merciful, King Barack Hussein Obama, has given them one year to comply. Obama Ruled? Where are the cries of Separ,,,never mind.

So Obama demands that Private Religious Organization MUST offer Birth Control. He has NO Authority to do this folks. NONE. It IS Unconstitutional. But then again, MOST of the things that Obama does IS Unconstitutional. One of the Problems is NO ONE is calling him on it. The Media LOVE what he does. They LOVE it. They are also controlled by the Liberal Left Kook Fringe. They simply Report, or NOT Report, whatever they are told.

In a decision expected to draw opposition from religious conservatives, the Department of Health and Human Services issued a final rule requiring affiliated groups to provide a broad range of services, from implanted contraceptive devices to the morning-after pill. Many do not at present.

The government's decision does not apply to churches, synagogues, mosques, temples and some religiously-affiliated elementary and secondary schools, which remain exempt.

But it comes as a blow to the interests of some religious authorities.

When HHS first announced plans to adopt the birth control rule last August, it stirred protests from religious groups including the Roman Catholic Church that wanted the exemption to apply to a broader category of organizations. The Catholic Church holds contraception to be sinful.

The change, intended to reduce unwanted pregnancies and abortions, is part of President Barack Obama's healthcare overhaul, his signature domestic policy achievement, which is facing major challenges from the Supreme Court and Republicans this year as the president seeks re-election.

"This decision was made after very careful consideration, including the important concerns some have raised about religious liberty," Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said in a statement.

"This proposal strikes the appropriate balance between respecting religious freedom and increasing access to important preventive services."
No it doesn't. Allow me to post something that THIS Administration, and the Liberal Loons, have NO CLUE what IT actually says.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." US Constitution First Amendment.
Lets see. , the US Constitution applies to the Federal Government. NOT the States, NOT the Private Organizations. The Federal Government. Second, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion," The Federal Government cannot ESTABLISH a NATIONAL Religion. Think England. They cannot CREATE a National Religion and Create Laws forcing people to fund and Worship at Direction of said Religion. Third? "or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."Meaning, the Federal Government cannot, I repeat, CANNOT, interfere in ANY WAY WHATSOEVER, of YOUR RIGHT to Worship ANY WHERE, ANY WAY, you chose. They can NOT dictate to PRIVATE RELIGIOUS Organizations how they operate. Period.

I know, I know, Obama don't care about the Constitution. From refusing to enforce Laws that he doesn't agree with, including refusing to Prosecute CRIMES if the Offenders a Black, to Defend Marriage, to appointing recess Appointments when Congress is not in Recess. Hell, Obamacare. Obama don't like, nor does he CARE, about the Constitution. No one is standing up against him. Not the Media, sadly, not even the GOP.

Look, in 2010, YOU Spoke loud and clear. The New People that YOU Put into Office are TRYING to do the Right thing. Problem is, they do not have the Numbers yet. They still have the Establishment Republicans to answer to. They still have to fall into place. We need MORE true Conservatives Elected to Power. We need sheer numbers. We need enough SANE Adults in Congress to override the Establishment Leaders. We need enough to take over the Direction of Congress.

I want you to remember all the things that Obama has done. I want you to THINK about this type of Headline. "Obama Ruled" when you go into the Polling Place. Do you want 4 more years? Possibly a lot MORE than 4 more years? Remember, there ARE some in Congress that are OPENLY and ACTIVELY Talking about doing away with Elections all together. Think about 4 more years of Obama with NOTHING to lose. Think of how much MORE Damage can be done. Think about how much more FREEDOMS can be lost. Think about America itself. What kind of Country do you want to leave for YOUR Kids? Time to make some REALLY, Difficult for some, easy for others, but SERIOUS for ALL, decisions for our own future. Make no mistake about it, America itself IS at Stake. Obama Ruled? Time to Rule Obama DONE!

As I have told you for YEARS now, the Liberals HATE the free exchange of Information and Thought. It is a THREAT to THEM. It just is. So they have been attempting to shut down Talk Radio and they have been looking for a way to control the Internet.

They will NEVER Shut Down Talk Radio as long as Rush Limbaugh is on the Air. WAY too big and powerful. They have tried, but they will NEVER Win against him. So they went after another problem as they see it. The Internet. I told you WHY they Hate the Internet. First they give Obama Power to take it over by simply declaring a National Emergency. Then they come up with THIS. "Anti Online Piracy Legislation."

We all know what this is all about. We were not having any of this. Once again, they were Stupid enough to THINK we are that Stupid. Once again, they THOUGHT they were the smartest people in the Room when in all honesty, they were the dumbest.

Lamar Smith, R-Texas, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, quickly followed suit, saying consideration of a similar House bill would be postponed "until there is wider agreement on a solution."
Translation, NO ONE, except far Left Liberal Loons, were going to Vote FOR this. Most Democrats along with most Republicans want nothing to do with this.

Earlier in the week, major websites and Internet companies protested the proposal. Wikipedia blacked out its site for a day, while Google circulated a petition that generated more than seven million signatures. The White House also raised concerns about the proposal over the weekend, though later claimed the president was not taking sides.

Reid said in a statement that "in light of recent events," he would postpone a test vote that had been set for Tuesday. He said he's "optimistic" lawmakers can reach a compromise in the coming weeks.

"There is no reason that the legitimate issues raised by many about this bill cannot be resolved," he said. "Counterfeiting and piracy cost the American economy billions of dollars and thousands of jobs each year, with the movie industry alone supporting over 2.2 million jobs. We must take action to stop these illegal practices. We live in a country where people rightfully expect to be fairly compensated for a day's work, whether that person is a miner in the high desert of Nevada, an independent band in New York City, or a union worker on the back lots of a California movie studio."
Reid, it really is simple to understand. GET THE HELL OUT of our Private Lives and DO your Job. SERVE the People. Not rule over them. That was pretty impressive folks. SEVEN MILLION Signatures? Your Calls, Emails, and Letters? You WON!

Once again, I want you to think of this. Be it Private Business, like Bank of America, Verizon, or even the Government, the Power IS the People. WE are the Boss. It's TIME we realize it and start acting LIKE it. The Government is no different than at anytime in the Past. They are still a “Government of the People, by the People, for the People.” They may THINK they are Royalty, or that THEY Rule over us. But they don't. They WORK for us. And it IS, just that simple.

THURSDAY, Jan. 19 (HealthDay News) -- Your morning "cup of Joe" may do more than deliver the jolt you need to get going -- it may also help you stave off type 2 diabetes, a new study suggests.

But, before you pour yourself a second cup know this: The study authors said their research was done with cell cultures and there's no proof yet that coffee has any ability to keep type 2 diabetes at bay.
{Laughing} So WHY DO THE STORY!?!?!? Why publish the Study? I love it when I read stupid stuff like this. The Headline: "Can Coffee Really Thwart Type 2 Diabetes?" Second Paragraph? No proof whatsoever if it will or won't?

Past research has suggested a link between coffee and a reduced risk of type 2 diabetes, and now Chinese researchers behind the new study think they may know why that may be so. They found three major compounds in coffee that may provide potentially beneficial effects: caffeic acid, chlorogenic acid and caffeine.
But wait,,, It DOES?

"These findings suggest that the beneficial effects of coffee consumption on type 2 diabetes mellitus may be partly due to the ability of the major coffee components and metabolites to inhibit the toxic aggregation of hIAPP [human islet amyloid polypeptide]," Ling Zheng, professor of cellular biology at Wuhan University in China, and colleagues wrote.

Human islet amyloid polypeptide (hIAPP) is a substance normally found in the pancreas, according to background information in the study. Sometimes, however, abnormal protein deposits (toxic aggregation) arise from hIAPP. These abnormal deposits (amyloid fibrils) are found in people with type 2 diabetes, the study authors said.

The researchers wondered if blocking formation of these deposits could help prevent or treat type 2 diabetes, the more common form of the blood sugar disorder. The next step would be to find a substance that might prevent these deposits.

In 2009, a study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine reported that people who drank the most coffee seemed to have the lowest risk of developing type 2 diabetes. That study reported that with each cup of coffee consumed daily, the risk of type 2 diabetes dropped by 7 percent.
OK. Lets see, average of 12 Cups per Pot, Three to four Pots a Day. I consume somewhere around 36 to 48 cups a DAY? Well, ONE of my cups is like 2 to 3 normal ones, but still. So? Reduce 7% per cup? So my Percent of NOT getting Type 2 diabetes is like 252 percent?

So, the researchers behind the new study conducted laboratory experiments to see if compounds found in coffee could inhibit the production of the abnormal protein deposits associated with hIAPP.

Caffeic acid, chlorogenic acid and caffeine -- the three most common components in coffee, the study authors said -- helped reduce the abnormal protein deposits, but caffeic acid appeared most effective.

"Our results suggest that caffeic acid had the greatest effects in the major components of coffee. The rankings for beneficial effects of coffee compounds against the toxic hIAPP aggregation are caffeic acid, chlorogenic acid and caffeine," Zheng and study co-author Kun Huang, professor of biological pharmacy at the Huazhong University of Science & Technology in Wuhan, explained in an email interview.

Because decaffeinated coffee contains even higher levels of caffeic acid and chlorogenic acid than caffeinated coffee, the beneficial effect may be even stronger for decaffeinated coffee, they added.
You can keep the Decaf. I only drink the High Octane stuff.

The investigators pointed out that this work has only been done in cells, so it's not clear if this is how coffee might help prevent diabetes in the body.

A U.S. diabetes expert was guardedly optimistic about the study's conclusions.

"Scientifically, this is a very nice paper, but it has its limitations," said Dr. Vivian Fonseca, president of medicine and science at the American Diabetes Association. "This was done in cells, not in animals or people. We also don't know if the [abnormal deposits arising from hIAPP] are the most important thing in the development of type 2 diabetes, or if it's something that develops later."

In addition, Fonseca said, the study that found a link between a reduced risk of type 2 diabetes and coffee was an epidemiological study. That means the study couldn't prove cause and effect, only that there was an association between those two factors. It could be that people who drink coffee have other habits that lower their risk of diabetes.

The bottom line, said Fonseca, is it's way too soon to make any recommendations about drinking coffee to prevent diabetes. But, he added, "if you want to prevent diabetes, there are some very straightforward things to do. You can walk for 30 minutes most days of the week, and reduce calories a little bit and reduce your weight a little."
I have the Walking thing down. I will enjoy doing the Coffee thing. I will still go to the Gym. Oh wait,,this is not good news for me...

Zheng and Huang also pointed out that their study looked strictly at coffee. "Our study does not imply that the cream and sugar served with coffee will be beneficial for type 2 diabetes," they said.

You know, I keep getting asked "Who are you going for in this Election." My answer is always the same. "ANYONE but Obama!" If a Sane Democrat jumped in, I would Vote for them. ANYONE but Obama. Just look around folks. Record High Unemployment. Record High Home Foreclosures. Record High number of People on Food Stamps. Record High Debt. Record High Energy Costs which raises that Costs of EVERYTHING. Bush did not do this. He may have opened the door, but it was ALL Obama and the Liberals in Congress that created this mess we are in.

So, who does it seem, is a FRIEND of the Democrats in this Election Cycle? Yes. The GOP. I'm not being Provocative. I'm not being sarcastic. I'm not even remotely Joking. It is the TRUTH. The Establishment Republicans have been standing in the way of REAL Change. They themselves have stood in the way, and have worked AGAINST ANY True Conservatives that started to gain ground. Many in Washington have been playing Political Games, Politics as usual, while this Administration has run wild all over the place.

BALTIMORE (AP) — House Republican leaders pleaded for elusive unity from the disparate factions in their party as they pursue a dual election-year prize of retaining their majority and denying President Barack Obama a second term.

"Unity, unity, unity," Rep. Lee Terry, R-Neb., said Friday after hearing his leadership's overriding message at a series of private meetings at the GOP's annual three-day retreat. The fresh appeal to many of the 242 members comes just weeks after rank-and-file opposition to a short-term extension of the payroll tax cut exposed deep divisions among Republicans and ended 2011 on a discordant political note.

Rancor in 2012, Republicans understand, would be politically perilous, especially with the American people already holding Congress in such low regard. Republicans expect Obama to campaign against the "do-nothing Congress," using the presidential bully pulpit to try to make his case.

Looking ahead to a new year, Republicans said their strategy is to highlight stark differences with Democrats on job creation, deficit spending and how Obama runs the government.

"It's pretty clear it's going to be a referendum on the president's policies. ... the devastating impact of these policies on our economy," House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, said in brief remarks to reporters.

Boehner said he had instructed each committee chairman to step up oversight of the Obama administration, an examination that would touch on everything from national security to education and echo last year's hearings on an Energy Department loan to a now-bankrupt solar energy company and a problem-plagued gun smuggling investigation known as Operation Fast and Furious. Money from the stimulus package in Obama's first year also will face scrutiny.

Republicans painted a dire picture of the economy, with high unemployment, housing woes and Obama regulations, or even the possibility of new rules, hampering small businesses and hiring.

"If I were Barack Obama I wouldn't want to talk about my record either," said Rep. Greg Walden, R-Ore.

But in recent months, there have been signs of an economy on the upswing. Applications for unemployment benefits have dropped to their lowest level in nearly four years, housing sales increased and companies posted better earnings. The Dow Jones closed above 12,700 on Friday.

Economic indicators as well as perceptions of the nation's financial health will largely determine the re-election chances for Obama and members of Congress.

In perhaps a preview of the GOP effort to shape the debate, Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan, R-Wis., said the latest positive economic signs reflect a resilient economy and added, "Imagine what growth could be if we got all of these barriers out of the way."

Election-year politics are certain to limit any attempts at an ambitious legislative session, but high-profile votes and issues can clarify the battle lines. Republicans made clear they will continue the fight over Obama's decision to block, at least temporarily, a 1,700-mile Canada-to-Texas pipeline known as Keystone XL.

Rep. Fred Upton, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, said Republicans were open to making it part of the next round of negotiations on a Social Security tax cut and unemployment benefits, an attempt certain to draw Democratic opposition. House and Senate negotiators face a Feb. 29 deadline to coming up with a plan for a yearlong extension that also resolves the question of Medicare reimbursements for doctors.

"We are absolutely committed — as a Republican team — to keep the Keystone XL pipeline on the front burner," said Upton, R-Mich. He will hold hearings next week with State Department officials on their pipeline recommendation to the president.

Republicans argue that Obama's decision was politically driven and will cost the nation not only jobs but a new energy source.

Rep. Jeb Hensarling, R-Texas, said Obama took "20,000 shovel-ready jobs on Keystone and buried them." Rep. Bill Cassidy, R-La., said if Obama were serious about helping the middle class, he would allow the Keystone project to proceed, with scores of jobs for blue-collar workers.

In addition to working out a compromise on the payroll tax cut, Republicans pledged to be aggressive in crafting a budget and cutting spending, arguing that Obama's policies have contributed to the growing deficit. House members acknowledged that their legislation has little chance in the Democratic-controlled Senate or with Obama, but Ryan made clear they will still press ahead to ensure the electorate has a choice.

"At the end of the day, we'll kick this up to the American people and let them decide what kind of America they want to have," he said.

In a series of meetings, Republicans heard from former Texas Sen. Phil Gramm, a onetime presidential candidate, who focused on Obama's policies and their impact on free enterprise. They also heard about teamwork from former Washington Redskins Coach Joe Gibbs.

On Friday night, popular Republican and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who many had hoped would seek the presidency, was scheduled to speak to the Republican conference behind closed doors.

Surprisingly, lawmakers said there was little talk of presidential candidates. Pollsters did tell the GOP that once the party gets a nominee, it was critical that members of Congress and the candidate be on the same page, according to Rep. Tom Price, R-Ga., who said he didn't foresee any problems.

Few members interrupted the gathering and socializing to watch Thursday night's debate from South Carolina.

"You get to the 18th debate," Terry joked. "Come on..."

What do you think of when someone says "As American as ???" Yup. If you are like me you think Baseball, Apple Pie, maybe even Rock and Roll. Elvis ETC. But the one thing I do not think about to describe America IS Abortion. That all may change soon...

That is if some in the Movement get their way. It is not a new concept. Some have wanted to GLORIFY Abortion for years. But the Latest incarnation of drive toward this is by our Idiot of the Week.

In 2004, Planned Parenthood began selling T-shirts emblazoned with the declaration, "I Had An Abortion." This was part of its campaign to "demystify and destigmatize" the practice. Prominent abortion advocates felt at the time that their movement had grown too timid.

Alexander Sanger, the grandson of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, argued that feminists needed to go beyond the rhetoric of "choice," jargon he regarded as cowardly and vague. They should celebrate abortion directly and unapologetically, he said. After all, the unborn child, as an annoying interloper, deserves to die. "The unborn child is not just an innocent life," he wrote, but a "liability, a threat, and a danger to the mother and to the other members of the family."

Amidst such comments, the website Imnotsorry.net sprung up. The founders of the site explained that it "was created for the purpose of showing women that exercising their legal right to terminate their pregnancy is not the blood-splattered guilt trip so many make it out to be." Space was provided on it for women to post testimonials expressing their "relief" and "joy" after an abortion.

Ron Fitzsimmons, president of the National Coalition of Abortion Providers, also found "choice" rhetoric insipid. "We have nothing to hide," he said to the press. "The work we're doing is good. We are there to help women, and it's important to talk about abortion so that it's not a stigma."

Abortion, he said, is more than just a choice. It is a good choice: "We can no longer respond to [pro-life arguments] with 'it's your right to choose.' We need to recapture the notion that abortion is a difficult moral choice for women, but one that is, in fact, a moral choice."
You DO see how sick these people really are? It is MORAL for them to MURDER an Innocent Life? It is GOOD because the Life is a "liability, a threat, and a danger to the mother and to the other members of the family."Seriously. I almost wish THEIR Parents felt this way before they were Born.

But now we have a NEW advocate for this SICK and Demented attempt to Glorify MURDER...

These days abortion advocates are considerably more circumspect, returning to the "safe, legal, and rare" formula that Bill Clinton popularized. But a few still hunger for raw honesty. In apparent anticipation of the upcoming Roe v. Wade anniversary, Salon interviewed one of them on Monday. Merle Hoffman, a New York "abortion provider," told the online publication that the "pro-choice movement is uncomfortable with itself," as it still treats abortion as a regrettable act. "I've always said that, and I've always believed that," she said. "We're not comfortable with the banner we're under."

This makes no sense to Hoffman, given the large number of Americans implicated in abortion. "You know how many women have had abortions?" she said. "Abortion is as American as apple pie. I think it's one in three. But we'll go on TV and say, 'I just had my tits done or had a bikini wax,' but not had an abortion. If you could see that constituency rise up at one point in time -- but they don't, because there's this cloud."

Hoffman bluntly acknowledged that abortion involves killing an unborn child: "In the beginning [pro-lifers] were calling it a baby. We were saying it was only blood and tissue. Let's agree this is a life form, a potential life; you're terminating it. You don't have to argue that abortion stops a beating heart. It does." Nor does she insist that abortion is a minor medical procedure: "I can't say it's just like an appendectomy. It isn't. It's a very powerful and loaded decision."

Like Alexander Sanger, Hoffman sees abortion as a laudable act of self-defense against the encroaching unborn child. Referring to her own abortion, Hoffman writes in a soon-to-be-released memoir, Intimate Wars: "With my choice I was fighting for the right of all women to define abortion as an act of love: love for the family one already has, and just as important, love for oneself. I was fighting to reclaim abortion as a mother's act. It was an act of solidarity as significant as any other I had committed."

Hoffman's career as a founder and owner of an abortion clinic has been lucrative. Salon describes her as a bejeweled millionaire: "Impeccably coiffed -- signaling more Upper East Side doyenne than die-hard boomer activist -- she wears an enormous glittering ring she designed with the symbol of Choices, combining the caduceus and infinity symbols." The "Choices" to which the ring refers is the euphemistic name of the abortion clinic Hoffman runs. So her brutal honesty evidently has limits.
"I've always said that, and I've always believed that," she said. "We're not comfortable with the banner we're under." Because you KNOW it's a LIE. "You know how many women have had abortions?"Know how many people have Raped Women, Robbed Banks? Guess we should just make that Legal too. "Abortion is as American as apple pie." Complete and utter BS...Apple Pie does NOT MURDER Innocent, Defenseless Children. Abortion DOES. Abortion is LOVE??? You are a SICK, Demented, Murdering, Idiot.

“Gleaming white wind turbines generating carbon-free electricity carpet chaparral-covered ridges and march down into valleys of Joshua trees.” Such is “the future” of American energy, not “the oil rigs planted helter-skelter in [nearby] citrus groves.”

So reads a recent Forbes article. But Wind vs. Bird by Todd Woody also raises concern about the fate of a 300-megawatt “green” turbine project threatening California condors, a species just coming back from the edge of extinction. The project might be cancelled as a result.

Indeed, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (FWS) has asked Kern County to “exercise extreme caution” in approving projects in the Tehapachi area, because of potential threats to condors. The “conundrum will force some hard choices about the balance we are willing to strike between obtaining clean energy and preserving wild things,” the article suggested. Hopefully, it concluded, new “avian radar units” will be able to detect condors and automatically shut down turbines when one approaches.

All Americans hope condors will not be sliced and diced by giant Cuisinarts. But most of us are puzzled that so few “environmentalists” and FWS “caretakers” express concern about the countless bald and golden eagles, hawks, falcons, vultures, ducks, geese, bats, and other rare, threatened, endangered and common flying creatures imperiled by turbine blades.

And many of us get downright angry at the selective way endangered species and other wildlife laws are applied – leaving wind turbine operators free to exact their carnage, while harassing and punishing oil companies and citizens.

“Avian Mortality”: Not New

This is hardly a new issue. In his August 1997 essay for the Cato Institute, Renewable Energy: Not Cheap, Not “Green”, Robert Bradley documented the “avian mortality” problem before taking to task one of the nation’s leading (anti-) energy environmentalists who was just a car ride away from well-documented windpower carnage:

Wind power’s land disturbance, noise, and unsightly turbines also present environmental drawbacks, at least from the perspective of some if not many mainstream environmentalists. Yet at least one well-known environmental group has a double standard when considering wind power versus other energy options. In testimony before the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), Ralph Cavanagh of the Natural Resources Defense Council argued against opening the electricity industry to competition and customer choice because of the “development of significant new transmission and distribution lines to link buyers and sellers of power. In addition to the visual blight of additional power lines on the landscape, these corridors can displace threatened or endangered species.”

Bradley continues:

Yet Altamont Pass’s 7,000 turbines (located near Cavanagh’s San Francisco office) have a record of sizable avian mortality, large land-use requirements, disturbing noise, and “visual blight.” The irony of visual blight was not lost on environmental philosopher Roderick Nash, who, referring to the Santa Barbara environmentalists, asked, “If offshore rigs offend, can a much greater number of windmills be any better?”

A double standard … and for a long time.

Tough Enforcement … Elsewhere

In 2011, following a million-dollar, 45-day helicopter search for dead birds in North Dakota oil fields, U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon prosecuted seven oil and gas companies for inadvertently killing 28 mallard ducks, flycatchers, and other common birds that were found dead in or near uncovered waste pits. Under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, the companies and their executive officers faced fines of up to $15,000 per bird, plus six months in prison. (They eventually agreed to plead guilty and pay $1,000 per bird.)

Also in 2011, a FWS agent charged an 11-year-old Virginia girl with illegally possessing a baby woodpecker that the girl had rescued from a housecat, even though she intended to release the bird after ensuring it was OK. The threatened $535 fine was finally dropped, after the FWS was deservedly ridiculed in the media.

The mere possession of an eagle feather by a non-Indian can result in fines and imprisonment, even if the feather came from a bird butchered by a wind turbine: up to $100,000, a year in prison or both for a first offense. Poisoning or otherwise killing common bats that have nested in one’s attic can cost homeowners thousands of dollars in fines.

Windpower’s Escape

Wind turbine companies, officers, and employees, however, are immune from prosecution, fines or imprisonment, regardless of how many rare, threatened, endangered, or migratory birds and bats they kill. In fact, FWS data show that wind turbines slaughter some 400,000 birds every year. If “helter-skelter” applies to any energy source, it is wind turbines, reflecting their Charles Manson effect on birds.

The hypocritical Obama-Purdon-FWS policy exists solely to protect, promote, and advance an anti-hydrocarbon agenda that is increasingly at odds with environmental, scientific, economic, job-creation and public opinion reality – and to safeguard wind turbines that survive solely because of government mandates, taxpayer subsidies … and exemptions from laws that rule, penalize, and terrorize the rest of us.

Even if avian radar and turbine shutdown systems do eventually work, should they be limited to condors? Shouldn’t they be required for eagles and falcons – and for hawks, ducks, flycatchers, bats, and other protected species? For geese, to prevent a repeat of the December 7, 2011, massacre of numerous snow geese by wind turbines along upstate New York Route 190, as reported by a motorist?

Why aren’t wind developers and permitting authorities required to consider the lost economic benefits of butchered birds and bats, which do so much to control rats and insects that carry diseases and destroy crops?

Of course, even condor protection alone would likely limit affected turbine electricity output to 10% or 20% of rated capacity, instead of their current 30% average. Adding other protected species would drive nearly all actual wind turbine electricity output down below 5% – making the turbines virtually worthless, and driving the exorbitant cost of wind energy even higher.

But why should wind turbines be above the law? Why should we even worry about reducing their electricity output?

Conclusion

America’s environmentalists, legislators, judges, and bureaucrats have already made hundreds of millions of acres of resource-rich land off limits – and rendered centuries of oil, gas, coal, uranium, geothermal, and other energy unavailable. The Environmental Protection Agency’s anti-coal aero-pollution rules, intense opposition to the Keystone pipeline, and looming restrictions on hydraulic fracturing for natural gas are already further impairing electricity and other energy availability and reliability.

This government-imposed energy deprivation is already driving families into energy poverty and sending more jobs overseas.

Put bluntly, wind energy is unsustainable. It kills unconscionable numbers of bats, raptors, and other birds. It requires billions in perpetual subsidies – and billions more for (mostly) gas-fired backup generators. It impacts millions of acres of scenic, wildlife, and agricultural land – and uses vast amounts of raw materials, whose extraction and processing further impairs global land, air, and water quality. Its expensive, unreliable electricity kills two jobs for every one supposedly created.

A far more rational public policy would cut the crony out of capitalism and double out of standards. Fair field, no favor.

So be it that wind turbines would fall by the wayside and consumers support conventional energies to generate reliable, affordable, sustainable electricity. Consumers? That is all of us. Energy planners? That is a small number of them.

Purposeful Decrease In American Security, Job Loss, Revenue Loss, Increased Energy Cost

Seriously. I'm asking you. What do you call? What do you call a person who DECREASES American National Security, aids the Enemy, making it EASIER for the Enemy to attack us by making it EASIER for the Enemy to cripple us? What else would you call such a person?

What do you call a person that rejects HUNDREDS of BILLIONS of Dollars in NEW Revenue in an Economy where we have seen our debt rise to uncontrollable levels? What do you call a person that CAUSES hundreds of Thousands of Job Losses in a country with RECORD High Unemployment? With Tens Of Thousand of NEW unemployed, meaning no paycheck, meaning they can no longer pay Mortgages, meaning MORE Home Foreclosures. What do you call a person that INCREASES Energy Cost for EVERY Man, Woman, and Child in this Country? As we already know, increase Energy Costs MEAN Increased EVERYTHING Costs.

More importantly, what do you call a person that does ALL these things, ON PURPOSE!?!?!? Intentionally. With a PLAN. Somehow ignorant, and or Stupid, just doesn't cover it. We have such a person in this Country that HAS done all these things. His name is Barack Obama. President Barack Obama.

No this is not some Political Tirade. No, I'm not saying all this because I want to see "my guy" get the Nomination and win the Election. I do not even have a "guy" yet. No I'm not saying all this to be provocative. I'm telling you the TRUTH. He HAS done this. He IS doing this.

Obama's Lackey, Deputy Secretary of State William Burns, made the statement yesterday that Obama says NO to the Keystone Pipeline. Then he said that Obama BLAMES Republicans. Claiming that it was because Republicans wanted Obama to make the decision in 60 days. Not enough time for Obama's Loon Base to create FALSE and Misleading Arguments that it will be a danger to the Environment. {Sigh}

Folks, this is complete and unadulterated BS. Remember what Obama said about the Wind Farms, that were and ARE, SLAUGHTERING ENDANGERED Species of Birds? He said he wants all the normal Environmental Studies rolled into one and he wanted an "Acceptable number" of Birds that could be killed. Remember that? Forget the fact we have THOUSANDS of Miles of Pipelines already in this country, with ZERO problems. FORGET the Environmental impact of all those Boats, Planes, and Trucks that have to transport all that FOREIGN Oil all over the Country, and the Environmental BENEFIT of reducing that number. NONE of that matters. It's PURELY Politics for Obama.

There is NO Logical reason, WHATSOEVER, to REJECT Hundreds of Thousand of Jobs, Hundreds of BILLIONS of Dollars in NEW and SUSTABLE Revenue, and INCREASE Our National Security by getting 92 percent of ALL of our Liquid Fuel needs for RIGHT HERE and our Friends in the North. NONE. No not one. We already talked about how easy, so to speak, it would be for someone like Iran, or ANYONE, to cut off the Supply of Oil. Ask Georgia how it was when Russia did that to them. It would be EASY for some Foreign Government, that do not like us to begin with, to turn around one day and say, "You know what, we what you to change your ways. We want you to do XYZ. Until you do? No Oil for you!!!" They would not be able to do this if 92 Percent of our Energy Needs were being met HERE. Sorry. But FACTS are the FACTS.

But we have a President, in title only, that is doing EXACTLY that. He is doing ALL this on PURPOSE. With one word, he could UNDO it. He chooses NOT to. Time WE chose a New President. Time we Chose NEW Leaders in Congress. Time to REJECT Stupid, and bring in Smart. Time we start getting SERIOUS. Because what Obama and Crew ARE doing, IS Serious. Seriously DANGEROUS to America. The People to The Government, PLEASE Control Our Temperature!

A couple of years ago, people said, "It will never happen here." It already is.

Hey folks,

Happy Tuesday to ya. How are you today? Here is sunny South Florida, it is a cool 65 Degrees this morning. I got up and noticed a bit of chill in the air. I turned on the Heat, for about 10 minutes, just to take the chill off, and then I turned it off. How are you? What's your temperature outside? I see in my old Stopping Grounds of Salisbury Mills NY it's 33.1. Glad I'm here. {Smile}

So what is your comfort level? Do you like to walk around your house as if it were Summer? You like 75? What about when it is high 80s or 90s. Do you prefer to wear a sweater in your home? You like 75 year round? Do you like 65? Seriously, what is your comfort level? I've visited some friends and family over the years where I could not stand the heat in their homes. Then I had to wear a COAT in others homes in the Winter time. But that's good for them and I never complain, it's THEIR home.

However, it may not be like this too much longer. Let me explain how "Smart Meters" really work. Energy Company XWZ in your State, in your County, send a bunch of Pencil Pushing, Statisticians, and Numbers Guys, into a back room somewhere in their Company. They look at their, say 30 Million Customers. They say "OK. The Average Temperature in the Winter is THIS. The Average Temperature in the Summer is THIS. If we set the Temperature in the Home at say 75 {Just for example} the AC will kick on this many times, the heat this many. This will generate a Revenue of THIS. They haggle. They debate. They try it out the first year, then they tweak it the next. They figure out the BEST optimal Temperature for the best Revenue Stream. They do not CARE what you think or what your optimal Temperature is for Comfort. They come up with a number and it becomes a Hard Number. Set. It is what it is. Live with it.

I can hear some of you now. Screw that. That opens the door for the Big Bad Energy Companies to ABUSE it's Customers. We can not allow that. We can not let them get away with this. So? How do we prevent this? GOVERNMENT!!! We need Government to step in and Control these "Smart Meters." We need GOVERNMENT to protect us from the Evils of the Big Energy Companies. {Sigh}

As with MANY things, this is how people have been conditioned. There are Evils in the World and we need Government to come in and protect us. The first thought that ran through my head when I read this Article was "Get the Government the Hell OUT of our Homes and lives, and we no longer have a problem." But when this has been enacted, the PEOPLE that have been so conditioned, their first thought was to call out to Government for help. FREEDOM never even entered their mind. Sad is it not?

Just like the Economy, Healthcare, and many other things in a Socialistic Society, all you have to do is LOOK at where it is to see what IS coming. Look at Greece. Look at Italy. Look at Europe. Just like all other things, look at "Smart Meters." A couple of years ago, people said, "It will never happen here." It already is. They have them in California. I remember when I first brought this up people told me I was crazy. "It's MY Home. I will control MY Temperature in MY HOME!!" Uh, no you will not. That is called FREEDOM. Like I said, People have been conditioned to see Energy Companies as these Big Bad Entities that are Greedy and Evil and the People NEED Protection by Government against them. So simply put the thought into People's heads that they {The Big Bad Energy Companies} may be allowed to abuse the People, the People CALL OUT FOR GOVERNMENT to come to the rescue. Look at the way this is worded. Margaret Hodge, the Chair of some Consumer Group in Britain, said this..

"Consumers will have to pay suppliers for the costs of installing and operating smart meters through their energy bills and no transparent mechanism presently exists for ensuring that savings to the supplier are passed on. The track record of energy companies to date does not inspire confidence that this will happen."
Again, Energy Companies are EVIL and Abusive. We need Government to step in and control them. See how this works. She went on..

"The government is relying on competition in the market to drive down prices. But, as has been previously reported by Ofgem, the energy market does not currently operate as an effective competitive market.

"The department [of energy and climate change] should clearly set out what energy suppliers' responsibilities will be for engaging with consumers to deliver the benefits of smart meters; and how they will be held accountable to both the department and consumers,"
So you see folks. It's for your own good. You see. The Government will make sure that these Companies answer to YOU. Yes. The Government is on your side. They are looking out for YOU. Just don't worry about it. The Government KNOWS what is best for you. {Sigh} The sad thing is, PEOPLE will BUY this garbage. So why are they dealing with all this nonsense ANYWAY?

Under European directives, all member states are required to install "intelligent metering systems" to at least 80% of domestic electricity consumers by 2020.
{Laughing} You got it. The GOVERNMENT Commanded it. Now the Government will take it over,,uh,, because the PEOPLE are asking for HELP!!

Folks, make no mistake about it. It's coming HERE. All this Socialistic Nonsense that would never have even been thought of as a possibility of being enacted HERE is COMING. This Administration as taken HUGE leaps forward toward that end result. This is WHY it is so important to Vote for REAL Hope and REAL Change this next Election. We need Adults, SANE Adults, in charge. And we need FREEDOM to reign supreme once again. Or, you know, go buy a sweater, you may need it to watch the next American Idol.

One hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. One hundred years later, the Negro is still languishing in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. So we have come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.

In a sense we have come to our nation's capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient funds." But we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. So we have come to cash this check — a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice. We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quick sands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God's children.

It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment. This sweltering summer of the Negro's legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. Nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning. Those who hope that the Negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. There will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.

But there is something that I must say to my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice. In the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.

We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force. The marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the Negro community must not lead us to distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny and their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom. We cannot walk alone.

As we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall march ahead. We cannot turn back. There are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, "When will you be satisfied?" We can never be satisfied as long as the Negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality. We can never be satisfied, as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. We can never be satisfied as long as a Negro in Mississippi cannot vote and a Negro in New York believes he has nothing for which to vote. No, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.

I am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulations. Some of you have come fresh from narrow jail cells. Some of you have come from areas where your quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of persecution and staggered by the winds of police brutality. You have been the veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive.

Go back to Mississippi, go back to Alabama, go back to South Carolina, go back to Georgia, go back to Louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed. Let us not wallow in the valley of despair.

I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal."

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification; one day right there in Alabama, little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.

This will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing with a new meaning, "My country, 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrim's pride, from every mountainside, let freedom ring."

And if America is to be a great nation this must become true. So let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire. Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York. Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania!

Let freedom ring from the snowcapped Rockies of Colorado!

Let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of California!

But not only that; let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia!

Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee!

Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi. From every mountainside, let freedom ring.

And when this happens, When we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, "Free at last! free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!" The best way to remember Martin Luther King Jr., would be for us all to walk the talk. Forget just talking it, but actually DO it. Judge people by the content of their character, and not on the bases of the color of their skin. Accept or reject people for WHO they are, not WHAT thy are. Do not talk about how Great MLK was, but actually LISTEN to what he had to say. Then do it.

Did you catch the game last night? The WORLD most likely did. It was said to be the Most Watched Game in NFL History. Including Super Bowls. Why? Tebowmania. Tim Tebow is a household name now. People LOVE him, or they absolutely HATE him. They Love him for what he does OFF the Field. They HATE him for various reasons. One of the main ones, and make no mistake about this, his OPEN display of Faith.

Some say he is over hyped. They will POUNCE on last night's game as evidence of this. New England Patriots slaughtered the Denver Broncos 45 to 10. Tom Brady threw six Touchdown Passes. Five in the first half of the Game. Some say this will silence all the Nationwide frenzy surrounding Tebow. I think not.

Look, it really is simple. Tebow's LAST Game was a Record setting, GREAT Game for the Broncos. It was Record Setting because it had stuff in there that is not NORMAL. It was a GREAT Game. This Game was a normal game. The Patriots are simply a BETTER Team. The Bronco's Defensive Team had no chance at stopping them. The Patriots Defensive Team DID stop Tebow from getting much of any momentum and the better Team last night WON.

However, Tebowmania is NOT going anywhere. They will attempt to destroy it using this Game against the Patriots, but because Tebow is who he is, and he couldn't care less about all the hype. He will continue to do what he does. He looks at this for what it is. You Win some, you Lose some. Next year is a new beginning. Meanwhile he will still be WHO he is. People will still love him or love to HATE him. He really doesn't care about all that. Nor should he. Congrats to the New England Patriots who will take on the Winner of the Baltimore and Houston Game next week for a spot in the Super Bowl.

Israel NOT Playing. Nor Should They.

Israel does NOT trust Obama. It really IS that simple.

This is just inconceivable. It is completely idiotic. We have Iran. You know him, you love him, Little Hitler himself, Ahmadinejad, telling the world that the Holocaust never happened. That America is the Great Satin and he WILL wipe Israel off the Map. He is ACTIVELY engaged in building a Nuclear Weapon and the means to deliver it. He has SAID that he cares not about any Sanctions. He will not stop until someone stops him. Now he is playing War Games in the Strait of Hormuz saying he will cut off the World's Oil Supply Route, even threatening the US Navy.

We have Israel, the target of many in the Middle East and our FRIEND and ALLY. They want him stopped but they know that THIS Administration is less than likely to do ANYTHING but talk tough. They are preparing, which is what I said I would do if I were them, to go it alone if necessary.

Then we have THIS Administration. What are they doing? Warning Israel against doing anything about it. Yes, Obama and Crew are warning Israel to NOT defend themselves and others in the area. They are warning them NOT to interfere in Iran's War Games. I kid you not. WASHINGTON—U.S. defense leaders are increasingly concerned that Israel is preparing to take military action against Iran, over U.S. objections, and have stepped up contingency planning to safeguard U.S. facilities in the region in case of a conflict.
Now WHY would this possibly be. Hmm? It is not a hard concept folks. Israel does NOT trust Obama. It really IS that simple. They are target number ONE. They are getting ready to DEFEND themselves.

President Barack Obama, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and other top officials have delivered a string of private messages to Israeli leaders warning about the dire consequences of a strike. The U.S. wants Israel to give more time for the effects of sanctions and other measures intended to force Iran to abandon its perceived efforts to build nuclear weapons.

Stepping up the pressure, Mr. Obama spoke by telephone on Thursday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and U.S. Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will meet with Israeli military officials in Tel Aviv next week.

The high-stakes planning and diplomacy comes as U.S. officials warn Tehran, including through what administration officials described Friday as direct messages to Iran's leaders, against provocative actions.
AGAINST provocative actions?!?! They continue to BUILD A NUCLEAR WEAPON!! They are THREATENING US. They WILL Drop a Nuke ON Israel the first chance they get. They just moved aggressively toward one of OUR Ships. Warned AGAINST provocative actions?!?! Ahmadinejad and Iran under his Control IS provocative actions.

Tehran has warned that it could retaliate to tightened sanctions by blocking oil trade through the Strait of Hormuz. On Thursday, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei vowed to punish the perpetrators of the assassination—blamed by Iran on the U.S. and Israel—of an Iranian scientist involved in the nuclear program.

The U.S. denied the charge and condemned the attack. Israel hasn't commented.

The U.S. and Iran, however, have taken steps in recent days apparently designed to ease tensions. Iran has agreed to host a delegation of United Nations nuclear inspectors this month. The U.S., meanwhile, has twice this month rescued Iranian sailors in the region's seas.

Covert efforts by Israel's intelligence service to prevent Tehran from developing nuclear weapons have been credited with slowing the program without the high risk of military conflict that could be sparked by an airstrike. Iran says its nuclear program is for peaceful uses.
I was going to cut this nonsense out. But I left it in. Basically this is simple Blah, Blah, Blah, BS. Meanwhile Little Hitler continues to prepare to carry out their plans. Then there is this little tidbit of truth and logic..

But Israel has declined to rule out a strike, as has the U.S.

"It is the policy of the Israeli government, and the Obama administration, that all options remain on the table. And it is crucial that the ayatollahs in Tehran take this policy seriously," said Michael Oren, Israel's ambassador to the U.S.
Well, it is the Policy of Israel, as well it should be, but they do not REALLY Trust it is of Obama. More Blah, Blah, Blah... Then this..

Israeli officials said Mr. Netanyahu's government continues to closely coordinate with the U.S. in responding to the Iranian threat. "Israel believes that heightened sanctions combined with a credible military threat may dissuade the Iranian regime from developing nuclear capabilities," Mr. Oren said.

Mr. Panetta and other top officials have privately sought assurances from Israeli leaders in recent weeks that they won't take military action against Iran. But the Israeli response has been noncommittal, U.S. officials said.

U.S. officials briefed on the military's planning said concern has mounted over the past two years that Israel may strike Iran. But rising tensions with Iran and recent changes at Iranian nuclear sites have ratcheted up the level of U.S. alarm.

"Our concern is heightened," a senior U.S. military official said of the probability of an Israeli strike over U.S. objections.
Sanctions combined with a Credible Military Threat. That is the KEY. A VIABLE threat. They do not fear Obama. They KNOW he will not do anything. So Israel will not wait too much longer.

Despite the close relationship between the U.S. and Israel, U.S. officials have consistently puzzled over Israeli intentions. "It's hard to know what's bluster and what's not with the Israelis," said a former U.S. official.
Thank you OBAMA!!! He is the main PROBLEM here. Make no mistake about it folks. NONE. Israel WILL attack if they feel they have run out of time and options. Including relying on US to help them. They WILL attack and LEVEL Iran if they have too. If WE only had a Leader that understood Reality and how to deal with people like this, Israel might NOT be as on edge. But just like you, me, or anyone else, if they have to, they WILL Protect their HOME, and FAMILY, by any means necessary. As well they should.

It really is a simple concept. We have DECREASED our own Security. We have caused the loss of Tens of Thousands of Jobs. We continue to cause the US Tens of Thousands of Jobs. We continue to spend money we do not have on NO Solutions and Furthering the problem. As we keep talking about, the Answer IS also the Problem. The ANSWER is Government.

Simply put. Government is the Answer to all of these things. All they have to do is get out of the way. It really is that simple. Allow the Energy Companies to do what they do. Hundreds of THOUSANDS of Jobs WILL be created. National Security WILL be increased. We would not only reduce the out of control spending, but we would add Hundreds of Billions, if not Trillions of NEW Revenue.

Problem is, Government IS the Problem. They are standing in the way. Now, as we have also talked about, the EPA, by direction of Obama Himself, will be imposing stricter and more oppressive Regulations making it harder and more costly for Energy Companies to operate. Senators from both sides of the aisle are warning that looming EPA regulations on gasoline could impose billions of dollars in additional costs on the industry and end up adding up to 25 cents to every gallon of gas.

The senators, in a letter this week to EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson, urged the agency to back off the yet-to-be-released regulations. Though the EPA has not yet issued any proposal, they claimed the agency is planning to call for a new requirement to reduce the sulfur content in gasoline.

Citing the nearly $3.40-a-gallon average price of gas and the state of the economy, the senators said "now is not the time for new regulations that will raise the price of fuel even further."

They said it would be "expensive" for companies to meet the sulfur targets and cited a study that found it could add up to $17 billion in industry-wide, up-front expenses, in addition to another $13 billion in annual operating costs.

This could in turn add between 12 and 25 cents to an average gallon of gasoline "depending on the stringency of the proposed rule," they wrote.
Between 12 to 25 Cents for EVERY Gallon you put in the tank. Now there is something for many to look forward to in this already hurting Economy.

"If the EPA does not proceed carefully with its regulations, the nationwide price of fuel could increase to the further detriment of consumers and businesses," the senators warned.

The lawmakers on the letter were: Sens. James Inhofe, R-Okla.; Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska; John Barrasso, R-Wyo.; Mary Landrieu, D-La.; David Vitter, R-La.; and Mark Begich, D-Alaska.

The EPA did not comment on the senators' complaints.

Asked Friday for a response to the concerns, the EPA said: "EPA is still in the process of developing the proposal."

An EPA official said publicly in November that the agency was developing the so-called "Tier 3" standards proposal during a House subcommittee hearing.

Margo Oge, director of the EPA's Office of Transportation and Air Quality, told lawmakers that the proposal would help the country meet its "clean air goals."

"Motor vehicles and their fuel are an important source of compounds that form air pollution," she said.
OK. The "clean air goals" are completely made up BS. They mean NOTHING. It's like your "Carbon Footprint" Some dweeb sitting in some office somewhere says you have a Company this size, so you can only Emmit X amount of Carbon, or you can pay us, say $100 Grand then you can do whatever you want. They mean NOTHING.

Oge said reducing sulfur in gasoline would make emission control technology more effective, and "the end result would be cleaner air."

If the EPA formally issues the proposal, it would probably take more than a year for the agency to review public comments and finalize any plan.

A Senate Republican aide said the authority to tighten the sulfur standards comes from the Clean Air Act but noted that EPA has the discretion to either impose the standards or not.

The current sulfur standard is 30 parts per million in gasoline -- that's down from a prior standard of 300 parts per million. The new proposal could bring the standard down to 10 parts per million, according to the senators who wrote to Jackson

The aide said there was a "bigger benefit" when the standard dropped from 300 to 30 parts per million. But squeezing that down to 10 parts per million, the aide said, might not offer as much bang for the buck.

"They're extraordinarily expensive relative to the last round of sulfur reductions," the aide told FoxNews.com.
So basically, like we have been discussing here for some time now, Obama can not get his Cap and Tax Passed. Even with those on his own side. So he gives the EPA the Authority to do it for him. This is bad for American Security. Bad for our Economy. Bad for jobs. It is just bad all the way around. It is refreshing to see that some are starting to see it for what it is. A Good Night's Sleep?

If you are like me, it can be elusive.

I don't sleep anymore. I really don't. Between 8 and 10 pm, if I am sitting in my lounge chair, attempting to watch a little TV with the Family, I pass out. I mean TOTALLY out. Also over this past weekend Hugo Chavez named General Henry Rangel Silva, a U.S. Treasury designated drug kingpin, as the new Defense Minister in Venezuela. Rangel, a former intelligence chief, said in late 2010 that the military wouldn't accept an opposition victory in the 2012 presidential election.

Meanwhile, U.S. State Department officials announced on Sunday that Venezuelan consul general Livia Acosta Noguera has been expelled from her post in Miami. This comes after she had allegedly been tied to a group of Venezuelan and Iranian diplomats who expressed interest in an offer from a group of Mexican hackers to infiltrate the websites of the White House, the FBI, the Pentagon and U.S. nuclear plants.

You see folks, this is what I mean when I say we need Adults in Charge. People that can look at the World, see REALITY, and have the ability to understand what they are seeing. Daimler AG, the German company that manufactures Mercedes-Benz luxury cars, called its promotional use of an image of Marxist revolutionary Ernesto "Che" Guevara a “thoughtless” and “stupid” decision that was not intended to offend people.

But that has done little to quiet prominent figures within the Cuban American community, including two U.S. lawmakers, who described Guevara as a "sadistic serial killer" who murdered thousands of men, women and children.

The image of Guevara -- the Argentine revolutionary who helped bring Fidel Castro to power -- appeared briefly Tuesday during a promotional presentation for Mercedes-Benz at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Guevara played a critical role in the 1959 overthrow of U.S.-backed Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista, the culmination of a two-year guerilla campaign during which Guevara allegedly ordered executions of Batista loyalists as well as Castro deserters and accused spies.

Daimler has since apologized for using Guevara's image, but many Cuban Americans living in South Florida and other cities say they are not satisfied with the auto manufacturer's explanation.

"It's a pathetic apology," Florida Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, a Republican, said in an interview with FoxNews.com. "He [Guevara] was a cold-blooded killing machine" who "talked about using an atomic bomb to kill all capitalists."

In a statement sent to FoxNews.com, Daimler said it "was not condoning the life or actions of this historical figure or the political philosophy he espoused."

"In his keynote speech at CES, Dr. Zetsche addressed the revolution in automobility enabled by new technologies, in particular those associated with connectivity. To illustrate this point, the company briefly used a photo of revolutionary Che Guevara (it was one of many images and videos in the presentation) …We sincerely apologize to those who took offense," the statement said.
What in the Hell does he have to do with Daimler AG, or Mercedes-Benz anyway? They want you to believe that the Computer did it. And the youth that was putting it together had no idea who Guevarawas to begin with.

When further pressed on the matter, Daimler spokesman Han Tjan said the image appeared for "only a few seconds" during the 45-minute "Power Point" presentation.

"It was very thoughtless not to realize that by doing that, it would offend a large number of people," Tjan said.

"Unfortunately, the word ‘revolutionary’ triggered a picture of Che Guevara … which may indicate the age of the person who did it,” he said. "That fell between the cracks … It was absolutely stupid that somebody did it."

Diaz-Balart is not the only U.S. lawmaker to denounce the image.

Florida Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen said the company "should be ashamed of themselves for using the image of a cold blooded murderer in one of their publicity campaigns."

"Obviously the creators of this ad have the wrong image of Che Guevara," Ros-Lehtinen said in an email to FoxNews.com. "El Che was a corrupt, bloodthirsty coward who killed countless innocent Cubans at the beginning of the Castro regime. Reports from people who knew him recount tales of an especially brutal person who would not think twice about killing a father in front of his son or ignoring the pleas of a mother to not send her son before the firing squad.

"That was the true Che Guevara, the odious gangster unleashed against the Cuban people by the just as odious Castro brothers," she said. "I am glad that they have done the right thing and apologized for it."

Others, like Cuban American columnist Miguel Perez, likened Guevara to infamous figures like Adolf Hitler and Usama bin Laden.

"In Latin America, the people who love Guevara are usually the same people who hate the United States," Perez said. "But in this county, most of the people wearing his image on their shirts don’t even know who he was. Young people think it's a fashion statement, when in fact it's extremely offensive."

Hey folks,

I want to talk about Gas Prices, since I could not be here yesterday. However, there was a little Primary in New Hampshire last night. And I'm sorry. I'm not sure I'm buying it. Seriously. NH RESULTS: Mitt 39% Ron 23% Huntsman 17% Newt 10% Rick 9%. Now EVERYONE knows that Romney was meant to win this thing. That's NOT the problem I have. No, not even Ron Paul. My biggest problem with this is Huntsman in THIRD? Well, Money can but you a lot of things. I don't know. There is this little twinge in my gut that something is not on the up and up here. Just doesn't make sense to me.

Anyway, many more to go. Happy Wednesday to ya. Notice the Price of Gas? Going up again? We all know why. The tension in the Straight of Hormuz, and the BIGGEST Factor? Well, lets see if this is one of the 8 Factors. According to Triple Pundit - Our Perspective on the 8 Strategic Factors Shaping Oil Price in 2012 By Raz Godelnik January 10th, 2012

The price of oil is still one of the most important factors shaping the economy. It can determine not just how much you’ll pay for a gallon of gasoline but also how fast the American and the eurozone economies will recover. It even has a say in who will be the next American president. This is why many people and companies try to predict the price of oil and better understand the events that influence its volatility.

Two people that tried to give it a shot are Gregory Copley and Yossef Bodansky, who are editors at GIS/Defense & Foreign Affairs. They published a list of 8 strategic factors that will likely to influence the price of oil in 2012. This is a very interesting list, although it comes from a business-as-usual perspective, which doesn’t look much beyond the price volatility implications of geo-political events. Adding the green energy market point of view might provide an even more comprehensive picture of the upcoming year, so here’s our take on 2012:
{Sigh} "Green Energy."

1. Growing global instability might be good news for clean energy – unrest in Nigeria and the Iranian threat to blockade the Strait of Hormuz drove oil prices up this week. We are more likely to see this kind of event in 2012 and if tensions, especially where Iran is involved, transform into crisis, the price of oil can skyrocket. “Energy analysts say even a partial blockage of the Strait of Hormuz could raise the world price of oil within days by $50 a barrel or more,” according to the New York Times. Such a trend can make the business case for clean energy much stronger, making solar and wind energy look much more attractive.
We could very well be looking at another World War in the NEAR Future. A lot of thing are already in place. But we need not worry about Oil going up $50 dollars a barrel if we just did ONE thing.

2. But not necessarily… – 2012 will also be the year where we’ll see a divide between renewable and secure energy supply. It’s true that the sun and the wind can’t be subject to a blockade threat from Iranian, but natural gas deposits in the Marcellus Shale or Canadian oil sands, are secure without being eco-friendly. Proponents of these non-clean alternatives will probably use the rise in the risk of oil shipment in 2012 as an argument to convince the public and Washington of the need to extract more oil and natural gas in North America. If you want to understand what it means for clean energy just take 3 minutes and 39 seconds of your time and listen to this story on NPR about solar panels that need to compete with cheap natural gas.
Don't waste your time. We already talked about this. If the Government is Propping you up, then there is NO MARKET for you.

3. The Arab Spring can reshape the old oil regime – the Arab uprisings have ousted or weakened some American allies, making the oil reality of the Middle East even more volatile and unpredictable. It doesn’t necessarily mean the Arab Spring is good news for clean energy (see point 2), but it means that there’s a good chance Middle Eastern oil would stop being a default option for many countries and will make them rethink about their energy supply. Hopefully, climate and environmental considerations will be incorporated in the process, leading to further use of clean energy resources.
{Laughing} Could TERRORIST Uprising and taking over the ENTIRE Middle East be good for a nonsensical, Liberal, FAILED, Agenda? Again, there is NOTHING to switch to.

4. The year of storage – the authors write that in 2012 we’ll see “a growth in the development to strategic scale (a significant change) of viable storage devices”. It’s also true for renewable energies, such as solar thermal, where we are expected to see companies like SolarReserve and BrightSource moving ahead with new storage technologies that are supposed to make renewable energy more competitive on a larger scale.
Well, DO that and then get back to the rest of us that LIVE in REALITY. If it works GREAT. But BUILD it FIRST and make sure it works.

5. The unrest in Nigeria will not move big oil companies to clean energy activity – One of the factors the authors write about is the return of the chaos in Nigeria, where there is a threat of a civil war. Only this week Bloomberg reported that Nigerian workers began a national strike after fuel costs more than doubled, threatening to shut ports and disrupt output from Shell and Chevron. Even if the situation in Nigeria escalates, it’s unlikely that Shell and the other big oil companies operating in Nigeria will see it as a reason to shift their focus to renewable. There’s too much money for them in Nigerian oil to give it up, and in the worst case scenario, where they are kicked off the country, they’ll just be looking for a new Nigeria to make money from.
Folks, this is one of the MANY things wrong with these IDIOTS. People DIEING in Nigeria. People being Raped, Tortured, and MURDERED. Peoples Homes destroyed. All this, and what is their first thought? I don't think this is ENOUGH to persuade the Oil Companies to stop production. DAMN IT!!

6. 2013 might be even more important – The authors write that “based on present evidence, the US energy dependence pattern will remain slow to change in 2012, and significant change is only likely to occur with a change in US political leadership, which could occur at the beginning of 2013.” They’re probably right – the results of the upcoming elections can make a big difference for the clean energy sector, making 2012 a not so important year after all.
They are right about this. We keep this Moron in Office and we are,, well, the Country as we know it is DONE. Get another in there that believe the SCAM that is Global Warming,,eh,,Climate Change,,and YES, the will be slow to DO THE RIGHT THING.

7. Political changes in China – the authors remind us that the Chinese President Hu Jintao is going to step down from the presidency in 2012, and this will trigger a new era in Chinese politics. His successor Xi Jinping seems to be a supporter of clean energy and can play an important role in promoting a conservation culture in China and leading the country to meet its 12th Five-Year Plan clean energy targets.
Or they won't because they really DON'T care what YOU think about their Energy Policies.

8. Take predictions cautiously – no matter how smart analysts are, it’s difficult if not impossible to predict the future. Who could foresee, for example, the Fukushima nuclear accident and its implications on the Japanese and Germany nuclear policies? I also bet few if any analysts at all predicted the bankruptcy of Solyndra and the damage it caused to the solar market in 2011. In other words, take all predictions cautiously and don’t forget to check them on January 1st, 2013.

He just kept shooting off pointed Questions with out any evidence, Sources, NOTHING. Stephanopoulos did not cite any analysts by name, nor did he say WHY he was asking. As a matter of fact, he asked all kinds of Stereotypical and FALSE Premise Questions.

I'll tell ya folks, he might as well have been in the DNC Chair last night. He ATTACKED Ron Paul for Letters from 20 years ago that he did not even Write. When was the last time he asked Obama about 20 years with Rev Wright? Hmm? It really was a Joke.

All that in just a second. Here is one for you Ron Paul Fans. How do you think He will do in New Hampshire. Did you catch the Latest Poll. A survey by WMUR-TV/University of New Hampshire put Romney at 44%, followed by? You guested it. Ron Paul at 20%. The Rest of the field? Santorum and Gingrich tied for third at 8%, followed by Huntsman at 7%. I have no idea why Huntsman is still in this thing. But hey he has money to throw away.

I think I'm done with the Debates thing. There is another in just a bit later this morning. But I think I'll be turning my attention to the Primaries and make my Decision on who to back closer to the Election.

So Iran is in The Strait of Hormuz.

We know this. We know that they are threatening to shut it down, cutting off a MAJOR Oil Supply Route to the World. We know that WE have the U.S. Fifth Fleet that says it won't allow a Hormuz disruption.

Today we learn, well, January 6th, we learned that the US and ISRAEL are testing a NEW more powerful Missile Defense System. Its called “Austere Challenge 12”, and it is designed to improve Defence Systems. They will be testing multiple Israeli and US Air Defence Systems against incoming Missiles and Rockets. If all goes well, they would be able to destroy ANY Missile or Rocket LONG before it hits Israel.

Then Today, we also learned that WE are not alone. Britain is now getting into the Act. According to The Daily Telegraph - Royal Navy sends its mightiest ship to take on the Iranian show of force in the Gulf

The Daily Telegraph understands that HMS Daring has been fitted with new technology that will give it the ability to shoot down any missile in Iran's armoury. The £1 billion destroyer, which will leave Portsmouth next Wednesday, also carries the world's most sophisticated naval radar, capable of tracking multiple incoming threats from missiles to fighter jets.

Daring, with its crew of 190, will transit through the Suez Canal and enter the Gulf later this month to replace the Type 23 frigate currently on station
So we got US, Iran, Israel, and now our Friends {DISPITE OBAMA} across the Pond, will be joining in. Meanwhile Obama is giving our Tech and Secrets to the Russians, while telling us he will shrink the Military. No one has a CLUE what is going on in North Korea. And also thanks to Obama, because of all this, watch the Price of Gas go up to $4.00 Plus a Gallon.

As I keep telling you. We live in Dangerous Times in a Dangerous World. We NEED real Leadership. Someone that LOVES this Country and all her Freedoms that go with it. Someone who UNDERSTANDS that with CERTIAN Force, it can only be met with Force. Unfortunately, with some, they only understand Force and or the VIABLE Threat of.

Don't tell me that the "Occupy" Movement is Grassroots. You look like a Fool. Do not tell me they represent most Americans. Hell, MOST of them have no Idea why they are even Participating themselves. Do not tell me that there is no one behind this. WE KNOW there is. However, back on 10/25/2011, one Card Carrying Member of the LWL {Left Wing Loons}actually stood up and took Credit for it. She said this...

Yup, her name is Elizabeth Warren. The Self Proclaimed Founder Of "Occupy," or at least the "Intellectual Foundation," for the "Movement," SUPPORTS Steeling, Rape, Drugs, taking dumps on Police Cars, Exposing themselves to Passers By. Good to know. She is currently running against Scott Brown for the U.S. Senate in Massachusetts.

So this GENIUS, the "Intellectual Foundation" of the "Occupy Movement" is calling Senator Brown “Wall Street’s favorite Senator.” She has also denounced “Wall Street cash in politics.” Sounds like a Good Little Occupier. I thought Elizabeth Warren was all about transparency. We are all still waiting for her to file the required financial disclosure form.

The Oklahoma Professor has been criticizing Scott Brown for being “Wall Street’s favorite Senator.” She has also denounced “Wall Street cash in politics.”

But it turns out she may be indirectly accepting Wall Street money. The Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee, which is helping the Harvard Professor, has taken over $40 million from Wall Street during the last 7 years according to records from OpenSecrets.org. In fact, Wall Street is the biggest contributors to them. They beat lawyers and labor union. Just during this election season the DSCC has already received $1.5 million from Wall Street.

If Lizzy Warden is truly opposed to Wall Street money, then shouldn't she reject the DSCC’s money? Otherwise she is just using the DSCC to funnel in Wall Street money.
OF COURSE she is funneling Wall Street Money through the Democrat Party. Just like the Occupiers demanded FREE Stuff from those they were Protesting. Tents, Sleeping Bags, Food, ETC. Typical Liberals. They LOVE to "Feel" but lack the ability to Think, Reason, or ACT in a Reasonable Adult Manner.

Again, look at the two. The Tea Party? Tens of Thousands of People. Music and fun. They go home to REAL Jobs. Ask ANYONE there, they can tell you WHY they are there. They can give you a CLEAR Concise explanation for the Movement itself. Unless you saw it on the News, or you were there, you would not even KNOW that they were there. No one is Paid to be there. No one is Bused it to inflate numbers. The Media HATES them because they are REAL.

Occupy,,Whatever. Hundreds {Maybe} of People. PAID BUSED IN Protesters. Theft, Rape, Personal Property Damage, No one goes home, well except the "Leaders." After they go to the Bank. They turn the place they are in into Pig Styes that someone ELSE has to come in and Clean. The Majority of them have no idea why they are they, but HEY, they have nothing better to do away. The Media LOVES them, because they are TOLD to Love them.

So do not be mislead folks, those behind Occupy Whatever, have no problems with Wall Street, as long as Wall Street keeps giving them money. Oh, and Wells Fargo holds the money they get for the Occupy "Movement." The real difference in the two Movements. One is REAL. The other is Contrived.

When Your Kids Are Sick?

Just let it ride a few days? Nothing we can do?

Hey folks,

I have to admit something here. I get EXTREMELY upset when one of my Boys are sick, and I'm told by a Doctor to just let it ride for a few days. That there is nothing that can be done about it because Doctors do not want to give Children Antibiotics at too young an age. A Virus is a Virus and simply needs to run it's Course. Being the Proud Papa I am, I get ANGRY. Just let it ride a few days? Nothing we can do? I want to FIX it. I want my Boy BETTER.

However, I also understand the REASONING behind this. They CAN become immune to the Antibiotics. They can get sick MORE. Some Illnesses as a Child are GOOD to have. It builds up the Immune System. The wait-and-see approach is fine for some kids' health problems. But not these.

When you become a parent, you earn a medical merit badge of sorts. Whether you're sopping up a goopy nose or extracting a dangling-by-a-thread baby tooth, eventually few things faze you. But sometimes it's tough to tell what warrants a call to your doctor's office: Which temperature actually classifies as a "high fever"? What kind of tummy ache means your child has more than your average stomach bug? And when something truly frightening happens -- say, your child suddenly breaks out in hives -- should you call your pediatrician or head straight to the E.R.?
This is a WEALTH of Information for my Parent Friends out there. Especially New Parents. Ready? Here we go.

"Parents should always err on the side of caution and seek immediate medical care when they're worried about something," says Anita Chandra-Puri, M.D., a pediatrician at Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group, in Chicago, and a spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatrics. However, to give you more specific guidelines to follow, we talked to top pediatricians about the 12 symptoms that always require medical attention.

Symptom #1: A fever that's 100.4°F or higher in a baby younger than 3 months; higher than 101°F in a baby 3 to 6 months; or higher than 103°F in a child 6 months to 2 years

Pediatricians stress that when fever strikes, the number on the thermometer isn't as important as your child's disposition. The one big exception: infants under 3 months old, who need immediate medical care if fever rises to 100.4°F. "If their fever is caused by a bacterial infection like a urinary-tract infection, it could quickly spread through the body," says pediatrician and Parents advisor Jennifer Shu, M.D., coauthor of Heading Home With Your Newborn: From Birth to Reality. "It's usually just a common virus causing the symptoms, but we have to check it out to be sure." It's important to call your doctor right away; if it's after office hours, be on the safe side and head straight to the E.R. In kids older than 2, fevers aren't urgent as long as your child appears to be well hydrated and acting normal. Call your pediatrician for guidance.
Already I'm learning something here. I was always told that the Magic Number was 104 for ANYONE. If a Temp hits 104, to the Hospitial you will GO. Next one?

Symptom #2: A fever that doesn't go down with treatment, or that lasts more than five days

If you've given your child a fever reducer like acetaminophen or ibuprofen and the number on the thermometer doesn't budge within four to six hours, call your pediatrician. This is a sign that the infection may be too strong for the body to fight off, and your doctor may want to do a thorough examination to determine the cause. A fever caused by a common virus like cold or flu typically goes away within five days. One that hangs on longer -- even when it's low-grade (100.4°F) -- may be caused by an infection like bacterial pneumonia, which requires antibiotic treatment, explains Alanna Levine, M.D., a pediatrician at Orangetown Pediatrics, in Tappan, New York.
I think I will be calling after 3. But that's me.

Symptom #3: A fever that's accompanied by a stiff neck or headache or a rash that's either bruise-like or looks like tiny red dots

Call your doctor -- these can be signs of meningitis and need immediate attention.

Symptom #4: A rash that resembles a bull's-eye or consists of tiny red dots that don't disappear when you press the skin, or excessive bruising

A ring-shaped rash with a pale spot in the center can signify Lyme disease. Get help right away if you see pinpoint-size spots under the skin, which can signal many serious conditions. Any inexplicable, widespread bruising may be a sign of a possible blood disorder. In addition, a splotchy rash, often a little raised, may be a sign of an allergic reaction. If your child also has difficulty breathing or is agitated or lethargic, she should be checked immediately by a doctor.
Both Josh and Eli have gotten Rashes before Most of the time it's nothing. Heat Rash. Now perhaps I will look more closely.

Symptom #5: A mole that's new or changing

Keep tabs on your child's moles, especially any that she's had since birth, because those have a higher risk of becoming malignant, says Parents advisor Ari Brown, M.D., a pediatrician in Austin and author of Baby 411. Do a monthly skin check during bathtime. Alert your doctor if you notice a mole that's irregularly shaped, has ragged borders, is not all one color, or is raised. All of these are signs of a potential skin cancer.
Do you do this? I don't,,,well,,,didn't. I will NOW.

Symptom #6: Stomach pain that's on the lower right side, or that's sudden and crampy and comes and goes

If your child has pain on the lower right side, ask him to jump up and down -- if it's excruciating for him to do so, it can be a sign of appendicitis. Although the appendix is on the lower right side of the abdomen, the pain caused by appendicitis can start around the belly button and migrate to the right. "With a normal stomach virus, there's typically fever, then vomiting, then stomachache and diarrhea," says Dr. Brown. "With appendicitis, it's sometimes diarrhea, then abdominal pain, then vomiting, then pain, then fever." If you notice these symptoms, call your doctor -- appendicitis progresses quickly and it's most effectively treated when caught early.

Symptom #7: A headache that occurs in the early morning or wakes her up in the middle of the night, or that's accompanied by vomiting

These could be signs of a migraine. Your doctor can determine the appropriate treatment. Migraines in kids are not dangerous, and tend to run in families. However, morning and middle-of-the-night headaches can also be a signal of something more serious, and that's why you want to see a doctor right away.
What WAIT? "headaches can also be a signal of something more serious" What? I HATE incomplete information.

Symptom #8: Dry mouth and lips, decreased urination, a flat fontanelle (in an infant), dry skin or skin that stays bunched when you pinch it, or excessive vomiting or diarrhea

These signs are all associated with dehydration and need to be treated fast because dehydration can lead to shock. Call 911 or get to the hospital if you think your child is nearing this stage. Otherwise, call your doc and try to get more fluid into your child.

Symptom #9: Blueness or discoloration around the mouth; labored breathing where you can see your child sucking in his chest and abdomen; or panting, grunting, or a whistling sound when breathing

"Breathing problems are more worrisome when the sounds come from the chest and lungs, not the nose," says Dr. Shu. Critical breathing issues are often due to choking, an allergic reaction, an asthma attack (which can occur in kids as young as a few months old), pneumonia, whooping cough, or croup. Seek help right away or call 911. If it's not obvious that your child is having serious trouble, check his respiratory rate. Count each breath taken in for 30 seconds and then multiply by two. A normal rate is less than 60 for newborns; less than 40 for babies under 1 year; less than 30 for 1- to 3-year-olds; and less than 24 for 4- to 10-year-olds.

Symptom #10: Swollen tongue, lips, or eyes, especially when accompanied by vomiting or itchiness

These often signal a serious allergic reaction (anaphylaxis). Symptoms may include swelling, breathing problems, and severe hives and need immediate attention. Call 911 and, if possible, give your child a shot from an EpiPen or a dose of an antihistamine like Benadryl in the meantime. For less severe reactions, call your doctor and ask about giving an antihistamine to quell symptoms.

Symptom #11: A fall when your child is less than 6 months old, or has obvious neurological changes like confusion or loss of consciousness, or that causes vomiting and/or any damage to the body, such as broken bones
These emergency situations must be addressed by a doctor -- so head to the nearest medical facility. Falls are generally not problematic in kids older than 6 months if they only fall the distance of their height and don't land on anything hard or sharp.

Symptom #12: A cut that gapes open widely enough that you could stick a cotton swab in it, or that doesn't stop bleeding within a few minutes of applied pressure
These are signs that your child needs medical attention (and perhaps stitches, skin glue, a butterfly bandage, or staples). Depending on the severity of the injury, your next step should be to either call 911, go to the E.R., or call your pediatrician. You should also always see your doctor if an animal bites your child or if another child bites your child and breaks the skin.
As I always say. When in doubt, go to the Doctors and get checked out. Or, in this case, take your kid to the Doctor to get checked out. But these are 12 signs to look for, that should signal to you that it may be more than just a Virus and needs Medical Attention right away. I understand, I don't LIKE it, but I get why sometimes it's better to just let whatever it is run it's course. You know, like Chick Pox. It will build up the immune system and then your Body will have natural defenses against it next time around. But if your kid is showing any of the 12 signs, PLEASE go get them checked out.
