In an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV Friday, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said President Barack Obama’s decision not to fully enforce the Defense of Marriage law eventually could lead to a constitutional crisis, as he has directly violated his constitutional duties by arbitrarily suspending a law.

Gingrich even suggested that, if a “President Sarah Palin” had taken a similar action, there would have been immediate calls for her impeachment. Asked directly whether President Obama could be subject to articles of impeachment, Gingrich said, “I think that’s something you get to much later. But I think clearly it is a dereliction of duty. Clearly it’s a violation of his constitutional oath. Clearly it is not something that can be allowed to stand."

(A Gingrich spokesman stressed after the interview that we are not currently in a constitutional crisis, nor was Gingrich calling for the direct impeachment of the president. His statements were meant to illustrate the hypocrisy of the left and the mainstream media.)

Obama Attorney General Eric Holder said on Wednesday that the administration will not defend the constitutionality of the Defense of Marriage Act in the courts, which has banned recognition of same-sex marriage for 15 years. President Clinton signed the act into law in 1996.

The problem here is that a President just does not have the Authority to pick and chose what Laws of the Land they will or will not adhere to. It IS the Law of the Land. It IS up to the Justice Department to enforce and defend it. But Newt was not done there.

“First of all, he campaigned in favor of [the law]. He is breaking his word to the American people,” Gingrich says.

“Second, he swore an oath on the Bible to become president that he would uphold the Constitution and enforce the laws of the United States. He is not a one-person Supreme Court. The idea that we now have the rule of Obama instead of the rule of law should frighten everybody.

“The fact that the left likes the policy is allowing them to ignore the fact that this is a very unconstitutional act,” Gingrich said.

Gingrich said it is absolutely critical for Obama to comply with Congress and the constitutional process.

“I believe the House Republicans next week should pass a resolution instructing the president to enforce the law and to obey his own constitutional oath, and they should say if he fails to do so that they will zero out [defund] the office of attorney general and take other steps as necessary until the president agrees to do his job.

“His job is to enforce the rule of law and for us to start replacing the rule of law with the rule of Obama is a very dangerous precedent."

Gingrich adds: “I don’t think these guys set out to create a constitutional crisis. I think they set out to pay off their allies in the gay community and to do something that they thought was clever. I think they didn’t understand the implication that having a president personally suspend a law is clearly unconstitutional.”

DENVER (CBS4)- Denver International Airport is warning travelers and employees that they may have been exposed to measles. The exposure would have happened on Tuesday, Feb. 22.

According to the Department of Public Health and Environment, a person with measles arrived at DIA, Gate C39 at about 9 p.m. That person remained in the area for several hours.

People who were working or traveling through Concourse C at DIA on Tuesday after 9 p.m. should monitor themselves for any early symptoms of measles, especially fever, from March 1 to March 12.

Basically, if you were there, and you are showing early signs, which are,,,

Early symptoms of measles are fever, runny nose, cough and red, watery eyes. Usually, one to four days after the early symptoms, a red rash appears on the face and spreads to the rest of the body. A person with measles is contagious beginning four days before the rash appears.

you should stay away from Public Places, Schools, Malls, Work, ETC, and contact the Health Department ASAP. Of course, go to the Doctor and get checked out. But then again, ANYTIME you are showing signs of ANY Sickness or Disease, you should stay away from others and get checked out. Misery may love company, but you do not want to be the Vessel that gives it to me.

As we keep talking about in the Tuesday "From the Energy Front" Segment, the rising Energy costs will cause EVERYTHING to go up. The Cost of EVERYTHING will increase to match, or offset if you will, the rising cost to:

Power the Plant
Run the Machines
Transport the Product
SELL the Product

So that $5.00 item becomes $7.00. The higher the cost of Energy, Gas, and Diesel, goes, so does the cost of that Item. $7.00 then $8.00, you get the point. Remember that piece about the bitter cold, and repeated heavy Snowstorms, the Obama caused Skyrocketing prices for Heating Oil, that are likely to be the highest on record? Who is the hardest hit? The Poor and the Elderly. Those on fixed incomes.

Companies around the world have begun to warn about the impact of higher fuel costs on their businesses, raising fears about profits and inflation.

Companies in the most energy-intensive sectors, such as airlines, have been the first to raise the alarm, but analysts warned that a sustained period of high oil prices would have a widespread effect on earnings.

On Friday, Thai Airways, the state-controlled carrier, said that it would have to review its revenue targets to assess the impact of the rise in oil prices.

International Airlines Group, the owner of British Airways and Iberia, said it was “likely” that fares would rise again, following fuel surcharges already imposed, if the volatility in oil markets continued.

US airlines have already been raising fares. At the start of the year, analysts at Bank of America Merrill Lynch calculated that US airlines could still achieve the same operating margins this year as in 2010, even if oil prices averaged about $102 per barrel. US crude briefly exceeded that level on Thursday.

However, the Airlines are not the only ones worried.

FedEx, the transport and delivery company, said last week that its third-quarter earnings, to be reported on March 17, were likely to be lower than previously indicated because of higher fuel costs and bad weather.

The car industry is also likely to be feel the impact of higher oil prices, particularly in the US.

Now WHY is that? Because we are not Drilling. Everyone else is. Foreign Companies are buying up US Companies rights and assets. All for a Political Stunt by Obama.

General Motors and Ford, the US car manufacturers, reported fourth-quarter earnings hit by higher costs for materials, including metals and rubber, and now face a further blow.

The US companies remain heavily dependent on pick-up trucks and SUVs, by far their most profitable vehicles, leaving them exposed when fuel costs rise and consumers look for more economical vehicles.

Daniel Akerson, GM’s chief executive, said on Thursday: “Energy is going to be more expensive, so we’ve got to prepare for that and it’s come a little bit earlier maybe than the industry or the economy  . . . expected or wanted, so we’re going to have to react.”

And HERE it is folks. That unspoken business secret, actually SPOKEN. Get this.

Not every company is yet being squeezed by the higher oil price. Jürgen Hambrecht, chief executive of BASF, the world’s largest chemicals company by market capitalisation, said on Thursday the group had been able to pass on most of the price hikes to its customers in the past year, and it was expecting to do so again.

The Truth is folks, Businesses and Corporations do not pay tax. YOU do. You want their goods and services, YOU will pay. I'll give Jürgen Hambrecht an A for Honesty. "How do you feel about the rising Energy costs?" Hambrecht, "We don't care. We just pass on most of the price hikes to its Customers. So who cares?" However, there is a limit. Someone may pay $7.00 for something that was $5.00. However, they are NOT going to pay $10.00. There is a limit as to what a product or service is worth. THAT is what they are afraid of.

Dow Chemical of the US similarly talked about “pricing momentum”, and only a “slight, and temporary” squeeze on margins, when it reported full-year results earlier this month.

However, the damping effect of higher fuel prices on economic growth in oil-importing countries is likely to mean that the impact will in time be felt across most industries.

Martin Regalia, chief economist at the US Chamber of Commerce, the business lobby group, said high oil prices had a “double whammy” effect.

“They raise costs for all companies, particularly those that use a lot of oil to move stuff around in trucks or aircraft, and they slow down growth because they take spending power away from consumers. And both of those factors work together to reduce profitability.”

We already know about the attack on Unions. The shedding of light on the Symbiotic relationship between Unions and the Democrat Party. We already know that there is a move in this country to repeal, or defund Obamacare. There are many States that are attempting to enforce Federal Anti-Illegal Alien Laws. They are trying to listen, they heard, and they are doing their best to bring about TRUE change.

Now, the President just came out and told the Country that he no longer agrees with the Law of the land, called DOMA. The Defense of Marriage Act. RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Virginia took a big step Thursday toward eliminating most of the state's 21 abortion clinics, approving a bill that would likely make rules so strict the medical centers would be forced to close, Democrats and abortion rights supporters said.

Gov. Bob McDonnell, a Republican and Catholic, supports the measure and when he signs it into law, Virginia will become the first state to require clinics that provide first-trimester abortions to meet the same standards as hospitals. The requirements could include anything from expensive structural changes like widening hallways to increased training and mandatory equipment the clinics currently don't have.

So those that DO meet the requirements? They will stay open. Right? The Women that go there will be safer as well. Right? What could possibly be wrong with that?

While abortion providers must be licensed in Virginia, the clinics resemble dentists' offices and are considered physicians offices, similar to those that provide plastic and corrective eye surgeries, colonoscopies and a host of other medical procedures.

Democrats and abortion rights supporters said the change would put an estimated 17 of the state's 21 clinics out of business. Most of the clinics also provide birth control, cancer screenings and other women's health services.

"This is not about safety for women. This is about ideology, and this is about politics," said Tarina Keene, executive director of NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia. "The women of the commonwealth are going to be the ones left to suffer."

Uh, Ms Keene? I got news for ya. Roe vs Wade had NOTHING to do with the Health of Women. It WAS about Ideology, and Politics. It still is. This move would actually do more for the Health and Safety of Women than Roe vs Wade ever did.

Abortion rights supporters warned of legal challenges while supporters heralded it as a way to make the procedures safer.

"It is not about banning abortions," said Sen. Jill Vogel, R-Winchester. "It is simply caring for women who are about to have an invasive surgical procedure and creating an environment for them where they have the opportunity to do that in a place that is safe."

You see. It's FOR the Women. It's for the Women's best interest.

No other state requires clinics that provide early abortions to meet hospital standards.

Nineteen states, including Virginia, require an abortion to be performed in a hospital after 12 weeks, according to the Guttmacher Institute, which tracks abortions and laws concerning the procedures.

More than 27,000 of the 28,000 abortions performed each year in Virginia are completed during the first-trimester, Keene said.

28,000 Abortions a year in ONE State? Kind of puts things into perspective. I guarantee you that most of those were NOT due to Rape and or Incest, nor were they all Accidents.

"Does Virginia really want to take the lead in such obstruction?" asked Sen. Maime Locke, D-Hampton, who called the bill "draconian and patriarchal at best."

Obstruct the Murder of innocent Lives? I sure HOPE SO. Let them be the leader in a new wave of the Ascendancy. Now of course the Libs are nuts over all this. The Poor and Minorities will be hardest hit. It will not "pass Constitutional muster?" It is NOT a Constitutional RIGHT to HAVE and Abortion. That remains true no matter how hard they try to change that.

Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, who supported similar legislation as a state senator, said he believes the law would be constitutional.

"For over 25 years, Virginia abortion clinics have not been held to minimal health and safety standards," he said. "As a result, women who walk into these clinics are often not treated with the care and respect that any human being deserves."

Anti-abortion bills typically die in a Democrat-controlled Senate committee, but Republicans in the House tacked it onto a bill that already had passed the Senate. Doing so allowed the bill to sidestep the committee and forced a vote on the Senate floor, where Democrats hold a 22-18 majority.

Two anti-abortion Democrats voted with Republicans, and Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling, a Republican, cast the tie-breaking vote after hours of debate.

After it becomes law in July, the state Board of Health will take public comments before issuing the guidelines. The board is appointed by the governor.

I do not know about you folks, but I am happy to see this coming about. All of this. Not just Abortion, but EVERYTHING that these Governors and new Politicians everywhere from Local, State, all the way to the Federal Government. For showing us that not only did you hear us. But you are still listening.

You see folks, one of the biggest problems that the Left are having with all this, is that they do not like it when others play their own Games against them. I hope that they keep it up. Bring about the True Change that you KNOW the American People want. Forget the Establishment Leaders. Forget the Press. Forget the name calling, lies, and threats. Just do the Right thing. Trust me on this. You HAVE the backing of the American People.

You all know how I feel about these things. Coffee good for you. Bad for you. Cut down your risk of a Heart Attack, but you will hear voices in your head. Wine? Red Wine? Good, bad, good. Chocolate? Soy? You get he point.

Now I was interested in this Study, until I got to the more specifics. A bit humorous, but I'm still interested. I like Fiber. I like Cereals. I like Grains. So I'm good. {Smile}

Filling up on fiber -- particularly fiber from whole grains -- may reduce your risk of dying from heart disease, infections, and respiratory diseases, says a new study published online in the Archives of Internal Medicine.

Men and women who ate the most dietary fiber were 22% less likely to die from any cause when compared to study participants who ate the least amount of fiber. The protective effect came mainly from cereal fiber in grains, not other sources of fiber such as fruits and vegetables.

“Prior studies have focused on the relationship between fiber intake and cardiovascular disease, but few have examined the link between dietary fiber and mortality,” study researcher Yikyung Park, ScD, a staff scientist at the National Cancer Institute in Rockville, Md., says in an email. “Our analysis adds to the literature and suggests that dietary fiber is associated with a decreased likelihood of death.”

Fiber-rich diets help lower blood cholesterol levels and blood sugar levels, which may explain why it is considered heart-healthy. Exactly how fiber may reduce risk of death from lung disease and infections is not known, but these diseases tend to be inflammatory in origin, and fiber may have certain anti-inflammatory properties. Heart disease is also believed to be linked to inflammation.

Still, study authors caution, it could be that people who eat more fiber are healthier overall, and that this may be why they are less likely to die from all causes in the new study.

Now get ready. They are about to insult some of you. I'm sure that is not the intention, but, uh, still.

Park and colleagues analyzed data on 219,123 men and 168,999 women who completed a food frequency questionnaire in 1995 and 1996. During nine years of follow-up, 20,126 men and 11,330 women died. Risk of death was lower among study participants who ate the most fiber.

On average, men ate 13 to 29 grams of fiber per day, and women ate 11 to 26 grams. Overall, the risk of death from heart disease, infections, and respiratory diseases was reduced by 24% to 56% in men and by 34% to 59% in women who got the highest amounts of fiber in the study.

People who ate the most fiber tended to have higher education, a self-rated health status of good-excellent, a lower BMI, be physically active, and use menopausal hormone therapy (in women).

So all you stupid, fast food eating, fat people out there, you are going to die. Not because of the lack of Fiber, but because you are stupid. {Smile} But this next part is too funny.

They were also less likely to smoke, drink alcohol, or eat red meat. Nevertheless, even after adjusting for many of these factors, the association between survival and fiber intake remained significant.

{Laughing, Banging hand on Desk} So if you do not Smoke, Drink Alcohol, eat too much Red Meat, you may be healthier. Oh yeah, adding some Fiber can't hurt. {Laughing}

“What is new and important about this study is that it examined multiple causes of death [while] most previous studies of fiber and mortality focused only on heart attack and stroke,” says Lawrence de Koning, PhD, a postdoctoral and clinical chemistry fellow at the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston. De Koning co-authored an editorial that accompanies the new study.

“The most interesting result was that dietary fiber was protective for respiratory disease and infections,” he tells WebMD in an email. “This was a big surprise. It was even more surprising that the effect appeared larger than for heart attack and stroke.”

"Eating more fiber, particularly fiber from grains, may be related to reduced risk of dying from many different types of diseases -- not just cardiovascular disease,” he says.

As long as you go back to School, exercise, lower your BMI, don't drink, don't smoke, nor eat too much Red Meat. Then Fiber is REALLY good for you. {Smile}

The new U.S. dietary guidelines recommend that at least half of all grains consumed be whole and unrefined. The refining process removes all the bran, which contains the fiber. The goal for fiber is 25 grams per day for women 28 grams per day for men, and as it stands, most of us fall short.

So how can you get more fiber in your diet?

“The easiest way to accomplish this would be to always choose 'whole grain' breads, cereals, and baked goods over 'white' or refined varieties,” De Koning says. Specifically, breads that list "100% whole wheat flour" as the first ingredient would be a good choice over ones that list “wheat flour" as the first ingredient, as this is likely refined white flour, he says.

“Another nice way to increase cereal fiber would be to eat cooked cereals such as steel cut oats at breakfast instead of cold ones,” he says.

The new study did not look at fiber supplements. “But it is unlikely that simply taking a fiber supplement would give the same benefit of as eating whole grains,” he says. “Whole grains are high in many health-promoting compounds that might not be present in a commercially produced fiber supplement. Some of these include antioxidants, which may help to prevent a runaway inflammatory response. It is this runaway inflammation that may be responsible for high mortality due to respiratory and infectious diseases.”

Neil Schachter, MD, professor of pulmonary medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, reviewed the new study for WebMD.

"This is an impressive study, but it's certainly not definitive," he says in an email. "The data suggests that the amount of dietary fiber intake is associated with significantly lower mortality in this initially healthy group [and] both men and women had statistical benefits," he says. "The benefit was primarily seen in diets with grain (not fruits) as the source of fiber."

Schachter says the study's strengths are its large size and relatively long follow-up period. Its weaknesses include the fact that not all of the potentially relevant information about study participants was known to the researchers, including vaccination history and level of medical care -- all which could play a role in their mortality.

So there you go folks, add some Fiber in your diets. What the Hell IS steel cut oats at breakfast anyway. I may have to look into that.

Now this is this guys Opinion, and as I have pointed out in the past, I have growing doubts myself that Islam is a Religion of Peace. But CAIR is a source of funding for Terrorist Organizations, an intimidation tool by some on the Left, and seems to be on a stealth Jihad themselves.

Human Rights Organization SIOA Vows to Fight Far-Left Propaganda Group's 'Hate Group' Designation

NEW YORK, Feb. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A prominent national human rights and advocacy organization has vowed to fight against its designation by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a hard-Left propaganda group, as a "hate group."

The day after yet another deadly Islamic jihad terror plot involving weapons of mass destruction was thwarted in Texas, the SPLC issued its latest list of hate groups, including Stop Islamization of America (SIOA).

SIOA Executive Director Pamela Geller declared in a statement: "It's outrageous that the SPLC designates a group dedicated to protecting the freedom of speech, the freedom of conscience, and legal equality for all Americans as a 'hate group.' The SPLC, instead of standing for those freedoms, is carrying water for the real haters, the real neo-Nazi Jew-haters: the forces of Islamic supremacism and jihad. The SPLC doesn't even have a category for Islamic jihadi groups. The greatest threat facing our nation, our people, our world, and they are shilling for them."
SIOA Associate Director Robert Spencer pointed out that the Islamic supremacist hate group known as the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which the Justice Department designated an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case and has had several of its officials convicted of jihad terror activity, is not listed by the SPLC as a hate group. "That the SPLC would list SIOA and not CAIR as a hate group shows the hollowness and political motivation of the SPLC's classifications," Spencer said.

The Washington Times reported in November 2010 that "the SPLC is a small, hard-left political activist outfit known for promoting a panoply of radical liberal causes. The Center holds itself out as an objective monitor of potentially violent or subversive hate groups such as the Ku Klux Klan, skinheads and other white supremacists.

"But in recent years - and with increasing abandon - the SPLC has leveraged (abused, really) its rapidly decreasing political capital and waning credibility to target and undermine organizations that, rather than dealing in the business of genuine 'hate,' instead pose a direct threat to the advancement of postmodern secular-socialism generally - and to the Democratic Party specifically. ... In sum, the SPLC has become an extremist wolf in 'watchdog' clothing."

UPI - Man gave $200K to fake online girlfriend

NAPERVILLE, Ill., Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Police in Illinois said a man "was in disbelief" when officers told him the online girlfriend to whom he had given $200,000 was not a real person.

Naperville police said the 48-year-old man called investigators Wednesday to say he believed the woman, with whom he had been involved in a 2 1/2-year online relationship, had been kidnapped in London, the Chicago Sun-Times reported Friday.

The man told police he had wired $200,000 to the woman during the relationship to different bank accounts in Nigeria, Malaysia, England and the United States.

Investigators said the ID card the woman showed the man was a sample driver's license from Florida.

The man "was in disbelief" when officers told him the woman was not real, police said.

So our Idiot Award goes out to this man, along with ANYONE that falls for these scams. I'm sorry, but I just can not feel sorry for these people. A person walks up to you on the Street and says that they have the winning Lottery Ticket, but the can't cash it for whatever reason, but if you give them say, $500.00 bucks, they will give it to you? You do it? Sorry. You're an Idiot. You respond to those Emails? You're an Idiot. You give out money to someone who says that they just did something for you, when you never asked nor do you know them? You're an Idiot. This guy?

No matter WHO the President is if they are the least bit Conservative or attempting to do ANYTHING that limits the far Left's agendas. Rush did a GREAT bit about this yesterday. "Imagine"

What PC, no not me, is talking about here, is this piece from the American Spectator - It's Not Its Business. It's talking about how Obama, knowing he is losing the Unions, the revenue, losing Obamacare, the Medical Field and Insurance Companies Votes, and some Minority Votes due to States doing the Federal Government's Job, Illegal Immigration Enforcement, "Hello Gay people. Remember me? I made all these promises to you. Well, I've decided that the Defense of Marriage Act is Unconstitutional and I have ordered my Justice Department to stop defending it." The problem is, he CAN'T do that. No President has the authority to declare a Law Unconstitutional and ORDER the Justice Department to stop enforcing it. The Legislators have to Legislate. Congress has to change it. Not the president.

Like I said, Rush did a GREAT bit yesterday. "Imagine."

So let's step back. Imagine, for the fun of it, Sarah Palin is elected president. I pick Palin only 'cause they hate her the most (and I'm not running). Imagine that Sarah Palin appoints scores of czars who are not confirmed by the Senate. These czars run the government out of the White House; they bypass the cabinet structure. Imagine that President Palin appoints as attorney general a politically partisan conservative. Imagine that attorney general takes orders from Palin on active cases, and she orders that attorney general to stop defending lawsuits against aspects of Roe v. Wade, to stop defending lawsuits against Obamacare, to stop defending lawsuits against the EPA's greenhouse gas regulations.

Imagine if President Palin directs her attorney general to sue California to enforce border security and to stop granting taxpayer benefits to illegal aliens, in violation of the supremacy clause. Imagine if President Palin did all this. Imagine President Palin ordering the Republican National Committee to work with businesses, managers and executives that contributed tens of millions of dollars to her campaign to defeat her political opponents (especially Big Labor) in places like New York, New Jersey, Michigan, California; intervening in the affairs of states. Obama's doing this. Imagine if President Palin did it. She gets hold of the guy that runs the RNC, says, "I want you to have meetings with businesspeople that contribute a lot of money to my campaign."

Imagine President Palin decides that she will not comply with federal court rulings that she disagrees with, as in Florida and Louisiana. Imagine, if you will, President Palin meeting weekly with CEOs of the oil industry, of the insurance industry, and of the health care industry in order to help them profit and prosper. Imagine if President Palin meets with these groups to try to repair the damage done by the previous president, Barack Obama. Imagine a State of the Union in a House of Representatives chamber: President Palin attacking the sitting justices of the US Supreme Court, humiliating them for a ruling in a case in a manner that she disagrees with.

Imagine President Palin hiring a fashion person and putting her on the public payroll and telling everybody what to eat while she and Todd eat whatever they want on trips to places like Vail, while her husband is eating hamburgers and fries and ice cream. Imagine President Palin sending her kids to the most expensive private school in Washington, while at the same time killing a school choice program for poor minorities in the inner city of Washington -- and, folks, I could go on and on and on. It explains everything, this sickening spectacle that is the left. Whether they pretend to be journalists, whether they are politicians, this is a dangerous force in this nation. We have to continue to expose them. That's all we can do.

That is what we will do.

Regardless of how you see the Defense of Marriage Act, regardless of what you think about Gay Marriage in general, Bill Clinton signed the DOMA into Law. It IS the Law of the Land. It MUST be defended in court, until such time as the Courts decide it Unconstitutional, or Congress changes it. All this is, is pandering for the Gay Vote. We all know this. Even Gay people know this. I know that they are not stupid enough to actually BELIEVE him.

As for him ignoring the Law? Well, he does THAT all the time. He SAID he doesn't like the Constitution, so he is just ignoring it. He is SUING States that do not agree with him. He is IGNORING a FERAL JUDGE that ruled Obamacare is not Constitutional. They continue to attempt to implement it. Now he comes out and says, "I no longer agree with the DOMA. So we just will not defend it anymore. Do whatever you want." Just like when he ordered the Justice Department NOT to investigate cases where the Defendants are Black. Remember that? Voter Fraud, that's right. So this is no surprise. He needs the Votes. And uh, he wouldn't mind some money being thrown his way either. {Smile}

Happy Wed, wait, yes, it's Hump day. Happy Hump Day to ya. I would hate to wish this on anyone, but have you ever been in a Cockroach Infested place? Do you know ANYTHING about Cockroaches? Most of the time, in the dark, Cockroaches come out and have a party. They go wherever they want, do whatever they want. Most of the time, people do not even know that they are there. Oh, they might see some signs. They might even catch a glimpse from time to time and say, "Hey is that a Cockroach?" But turn on a light? They SCATTER. They run and hide.

Well, that is what they did in Wisconsin. They walked off the Job. They all loaded onto a School Bus, non-the-less, and skipped town. Teachers walked off the Job. Doctors started engaging in Malpractice. All of whom should lose their Licenses for doing. Why? The ADULTS turned on the light.

The Republicans in Wisconsin and other States, New Jersey, Indiana, Ohio, and more to follow, turn on the lights. The bright light hit them and their relationship with Unions. Make no mistake about it. This is ALL about money, power, and control. This is all about the symbiotic relationship that the Democrat Party has with the Unions. It's about all that money that Unions take from YOU, if you want them to or not, and GIVE to the Democrat Party to get them Elected, in turn, so that the Unions, can do pretty much whatever they want. This is why even Obama, {Card Check?} is backing all this Illegal and Immoral behaviour. This is why the DNC is orchestrating all these protests. Shipping people in to make it look bigger than it is.

Well, now it's spreading. The light has popped on in Indiana. Just like those Liberals in Wisconsin, doing their best impression of Cockroaches, so are the Liberals in Indiana. According to The Indystar - Exodus: Dems trigger Statehouse showdown

Seats on one side of the Indiana House were nearly empty today as House Democrats departed the the state rather than vote on anti-union legislation.

A source tells The Indianapolis Star that Democrats are headed to Illinois, though it was possible some also might go to Kentucky. They need to go to a state with a Democratic governor to avoid being taken into police custody and returned to Indiana.

The House came into session twice this morning, with only three of the 40 Democrats present. Those were needed to make a motion, and a seconding motion, for any procedural steps Democrats would want to take to ensure Republicans don’t do anything official without quorum.

With only 58 legislators present, there was no quorum present to do business. The House needs 67 of its members to be present.

From what I hear, Ohio may be next. Florida may follow them. We need some Raid. We really do. They want to act like Cockroaches, perhaps we should treat them as such. Eradicate them from Office. Recall, or just Vote them out next Election. No one likes Cockroaches.

Just like Wisconsin, this is all about Unions. All about the Unions ability to take money from YOU and give it to THEM. They KNOW that if all these Bills and Laws are passed, the Unions are FINALLY where they should have been a LONG time ago. Dead. Gone. Pointless.

Look. Unions had a purpose. They really did. But that time has left us. We have Labor Laws. We have Attorneys, and the Courts, if the Employer, no matter whom that might be, doesn't do the right thing. All the Unions of Today are, are a revenue source for the Democrat Party. That's IT. They do not care about the Worker. The Union I am FULLY Familiar with in a Local City Government is a City Union. They are all about the City. NOT the City Worker. They do NOTHING for them. But they sure do take their dues.

The bottom line in all this is simple. THERE IS NO MONEY. There is no way to honor all these promises that should have never been made. It really is just that simple. These States can no longer afford to honor these outrageous Promises. "Yeah Pete. You would have taken the deal if they offered it to you. Retire at 50? Have a paycheck for life. Free Healthcare? You would have taken the deal too" Well? Most likely. If I was applying for a Job, and the person said, "You get all this if you join." I would take it. But I also understand that most of the time, things that sound too good to be true, usually are.

I have never banked on ANY Job I have ever had being there tomorrow. I have seen many local Governments cut their work forces. Local, State, and Federal Governments have to make tough decisions on how to reel in the out of control spending they have been engaged in for YEARS. Raise taxes on Millions of People, or, break some unreasonable Promises that they were forced to make years ago to a handful of Employees. They are making the RIGHT decisions.

For all those Cockroaches out there. We DO have a BIG can of Raid. It's called the Ballot Box. By engaging in this "bold Political Move" you are encouraging all of us, to click the top, and we are getting ready to spray. Go ahead. Keep it up. You are showing the World that you do not care about the Public. All you care about is YOU. Your Bank Account. Your re-election fund. Governors, Republican Legislators, keep it up. WE, the People, are behind you.

On Wednesday, Feb. 16 Israel said Iran is sending two warships into the Suez Canal on way to Syria, and that the action is considered a “provocation.” Due to the long history of bad blood between Israel and Iran, this very possible scenario was enough to even send the bear-infested NYMEX crude oil futures volume surging midday.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) on Nymex rose to just below $85, while Brent crude on the ICE futures exchange spiked $2.17 higher to $103.81 a barrel—a 29-month high-- widening the WTI-Brent spread to a new record near $19.

High Middle East Tension

Then on Friday, Feb. 18, AFP reported that permission has been granted for Iranian warships to transit the Suez Canal into the Mediterranean. Canal officials say it would be the first time Iranian warships have made the passage since the 1979 Islamic revolution, while Israel has labeled the Iranian action as "hostile' and said Israel was closely monitoring the situation.

As the worst Israel-Iran conflict scenario failed to materialize, at the close Friday Feb. 18, Brent crude oil for April settled at $102.79 while WTI for April delivery rose to $89.71, narrowing the spread to $13.11.

Now along with this tension that is building, uncertainty is rising, We are feeling it. We are paying for it. WE are losing this. According to Daily Finance - High Heating Oil Prices Continue to Drain Wallets in the Northeast U.S. - DailyFinance:

"Bitter cold and repeated heavy snowstorms helped make winter in the Northeastern U.S. particularly brutal this year. Adding to the chills were soaring prices for heating oil that are likely to be the highest on record.

By the time the six-month-long winter heating season is over, the average homeowner in the Northeast will have laid out $2,431 for fuel to fire boilers and furnaces, Reuters reported, citing data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration, which provides forecasts of energy costs.

The amount is about $200 more than the Energy Department predicted in October -- and almost $500 more than the average just a year ago.

Temperatures were indeed colder than average in December and January, but that's not the source of the high price for heating oil. '[R]ising oil prices, not colder weather, have been the primary cause of the increase in forecasts of average winter season heating expenditures for households heating with oil,' the EIA said in its statement.

The price of heating oil rose to $90 a barrel this month, up from $78 in October, Reuters noted. That rise pushed the average retail price for residential heating oil to $3.59 a gallon this week, up 73 cents from a year earlier, the EIA said"

Then you have the other trend that we are following closely. I told you about China buying Chesapeake Energy, Now we learn that India, yes, India, Essar Energy to provide $1b bank guarantee

MUMBAI: Essar Energy will provide a bank guarantee of $1 billion to close the offer it made to acquire Shell's Stanlow refinery in the UK, according to a person who is part of ongoing negotiations with banks. This bank guarantee would be over and above the $350 million that Essar Energy agreed to offer for the assets of Stanlow refinery.

"The company (Essar) will finalise the bankers who will furnish the guarantee in the next three to four months," said the person who requested anonymity as the transaction is still underway.

Typically, the purchase price of a functional refinery consists of the asset cost plus an amount for working capital which includes inventory. The value of the inventory, in the case of a refinery, is determined at the close of the deal to reflect the latest price of crude.

On February 18, Essar Energy made the offer to buy Shell's 272,000 barrel-a-day refinery and the associated local marketing businesses for a total expected consideration of about $1.3 billion. Essar Energy's deal value of $1.13 billion includes $780 million for the inventory with the UK refinery. Shell agreed in principle to the offer made by Essar Energy and has granted exclusivity to the offer until April 1, 2011.

So China will control a third of Chesapeake Energy, India is buying up a Shell Refinery that produces 272,000 barrels a day. Grandma in upstate NY can no longer afford to heat her Home. Gas prices continue to rise. People on Fixed Incomes, the Poor and Elderly hardest hit. We? What are WE doing here in this country? Reducing our Energy Production. Dreaming the Green Dream. Obama said that Oil is the Energy of the Past. OK. What do we switch to? There is NOTHING.

The answer is CLEAR. California went to the line, before the Left Loons got involved. They saw the way out. But they let Politics get in the way of Progress. How do we alleviate concerns of Mid East Instability? How do we guarantee the Creation of TENS OF THOUSANDS of new and REAL US Jobs? How do we INCREASE revenue into our Local, State, and Federal Governments? How do we alleviate the pressure and hardship one has in attempting to PAY to Heat their Homes? Reduce the Price at the Pump? How do we INCREASE American Safety and Security? There is one answer to all this. Dill. Drill HERE. Drill NOW.

In a Year and a half, we could be well on our way to stability in our energy Costs, A safer and more secure Energy Policy. A Better Economic Outlook, and just plain Sanity. Lift the pointless and useless Moratorium. Remove Pointless and purely Political, oppressive Regulations and Controls. Let the Energy Companies do their thing. All the President and Congress need to do is get the Hell out of the Way, and let Americans DO way Americans do best. And YES! It really is, just that simple.

OK. So why am I so tired today? Normally, as we will talk about in the Health and Science Segment this week, by Friday I'm pretty much Toast. Seriously. I'm done. I'm ready to pass out around 8 pm or so. This Week? I was UP until 4:30 am Sat, from 4:00 am on Friday. I took a night shift so that Laura could get some sleep. It was me and Eli. So I get to bed at 4:30 am, I get up at 9 am. Time to get ready and head to the Martin Country Fair.

I love the Fair. Always do. I dropped a pretty penny, but it was fun and well worth it. The first three hours, was me and Josh. Well, me, Josh, Popop, and The Chili Chicks. The first THIRTY MINUTES was Josh and the Chili Chicks. {Smile}

So we walk into the Fair. He looks over and sees two BEUATIFUL Girls dancing. So what does he do? Being my Son of course, he goes over and walks up and gives them a Hug. {Laughing} Well, that was IT. The Chili Chicks stole Joshua and he just hung out with the Girls. They gave him a coloring book, they all singed it for him, and they just made me and Josh feel like we have known them forever. Just one of the,,uh,, Girls. {Smile}

Josh had a great time. A little sick from Friday, so we left after about three hours. 30 minutes later? I was BACK. This time with my Niece. Another 4 hours later. Finally HOME!

Alright, going to fill my cup. MUCH needed today. Be right back.

Time to prosecute them as well. They are STILL being paid to do their Jobs, yet, they are not doing them. According to the AP - Wisconsin Democrats could stay away for weeks By SCOTT BAUER and TODD RICHMOND, Associated Press – Fri Feb 18, 2:37 pm ET

MADISON, Wis. – Democrats on the run in Wisconsin avoided state troopers Friday and threatened to stay in hiding for weeks, potentially paralyzing a state government they no longer control.

The party's stand against balancing the state's budget by cutting the pay, benefits and collective bargaining rights of public workers is the boldest action yet by Democrats to push back against last fall's GOP wave.

But the dramatic strategy that's clogged the Capitol with thousands of protesters clashes with one essential truth: Republicans told everyone unions would be a target, and the GOP has more than enough votes to pass its plans once the Legislature can convene.

So these 14 Democrats, should be recalled NOW. They should be thrown out of Office. They are STILL being paid to do their Jobs. They are not doing them. All they have to do is be ADULTS and show up for work. Vote NO. They are going to lose. But they will be on record standing up for what they believe in. It's not a hard concept.

But they are not the only ones still being paid, yet not working. Teachers are playing Sick. You see, it's illegal to strike in Wisconsin. So they are all calling in sick, shutting down entire School Districts, and hurting the Kids for their own selfish gain. Officials say more than 600 of the 5,400 teachers in Milwaukee Public Schools called in sick Friday to attend the protests over Gov. Scott Walker's budget repair bill. The district has more than 82,000 students at 184 schools.

On Saturday, a group of men and women in lab coats purporting to be doctors were handing out medical excuse notes, without examining the ‘patients.’

“I asked this doctor what he was doing and he told me they were handing out excuses to people who were feeling sick due to emotional, mental or financial distress,” said Christian Hartsock. “They never performed an exam–he asked me how I was feeling today and I said I’m from California and I’m not used to the cold, so he handed me a note.”

Another woman, who wished to remain anonymous, said they were handing out excuses like they were leaflets.

“I asked if they were handing out doctors’ excuses and a guy said yes and asked me if I needed one,” she said. “When I told them I needed one for February 16 and 17th, he wondered if I wanted to come back here for the protests next week.”

What happened next?

“I said, ‘sure,’ and I received a doctor’s note for the 16th through the 25th of February, without a medical exam.”

For those of you who may know, I have a HECTIC Schedule. To say the least. It has already intensified thanks to having a New Born. Not to go into all the details, I'm up between 4 to 4:30am. I'm nonstop pretty much until around 10pm or later. The cycle repeats.

Now by Friday, I'm pretty much wiped. Passing out around 8 pm. Saturday is a day off from the Blog, so I usually crash and get up Saturday and do Family stuff. Sunday the whole thing starts over with the Big Sunday Edition and Monday, back to the Grind. Now with Eli thrown into the mix, even some of those off days are pretty busy.

Now I have started back up my Gym Schedule again. Every other day. One week is Monday, Wed, Fri, Sun, the following is Tue, Thur, Sat. I can hear some of you know. "Pete. WHY? Why bother with the Gym at all. You have so much on your plate to begin with." This is true. I did stop going completely. I had completely removed myself from the Gym. What happened? I was even MORE tired. More pent up. More scattered. I adjusted my Physical routine to satisfy my Tiredness, instead of attempting to combat my tiredness with my Physical routine.

Let me try to explain it this way. First time you ride a Bike, Swim, Run, Walk, WHATEVER, you can only do so much. What happens the LONGER you stick with it? That's right. You can Bike, Swim, Run, Walk, longer, farther, and faster. You gain stamina, and strength to over come the fatigue you first experience right out of the gate.

So now we have proof that a Positive Mind, and Exercise, CAN and DOES help. According to Health Day - Study Says 2 Therapies Help Fight Chronic Fatigue Syndrome By Alan Mozes HealthDay Reporter Fri Feb 18, 11:48 pm ET

THURSDAY, Feb. 17 (HealthDay News) -- Patients struggling with chronic fatigue syndrome may be helped the most when standard treatment is coupled with cognitive behavior therapy or exercise therapy, new British research suggests.

The apparent promise of cognitive behavior therapy and "graded exercise therapy" offers considerable hope to patients combating the complex condition characterized by profound tiredness, impaired concentration, diminished memory, sleep difficulties and muscle and joint pain, the study authors said.

The findings also support the somewhat controversial notion that incremental adjustments in physical behavior and/or mental attitude can ultimately have a positive impact on the disorder, the authors said.

There has been MANY studies done over the years that PROVE beyond any doubt, that a positive attitude and mindset, can contribute valuable assistance to healing. Some hear that they have a disease, and or, some kind of major setback in their lives, and they give up. In which case, they go further down hill faster. But those that FIGHT. Those that keep up good spirits, if you will, CAN over come, and or, prolong both the quality of their lives, and their life itself.

The standard intervention, known as specialist medical care, is centered around giving patients information about their condition, advice on how to manage symptoms and assistance with coping approaches.

The research team behind the new study found little appreciable benefit with a third alternate therapeutic approach that focuses on helping patients strictly structure their activity and relaxation routines to match their severely reduced energy levels. This strategy, known as "adaptive pacing therapy," assumes that chronic fatigue syndrome is not, in fact, reversible with behavioral changes.

"Patients who received either graded exercise therapy or cognitive behavior therapy reported less fatigue and better function than those who received either adaptive pacing therapy or specialist medical care alone," said study author Dr. Peter D. White, a professor of psychological medicine at Barts and the London School of Medicine, and a psychiatrist at St Bartholomew's Hospital in London.

White and his colleagues report their findings in the Feb. 18 online edition of The Lancet.

The authors noted that it is not yet understood what gives rise to chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS).

The cognitive behavioral therapy targets the building fear and avoidance of activity that can exacerbate CFS. In effect, it seeks to break a vicious cycle in which mental inhibitions actually perpetuate and aggravate the underlying chronic fatigue.

In other words, they give up. They say, "OK. I can no longer stay awake for 16 hours. So I will now take a nap. I can no longer do this or that, so I stop."But doing this, the body and the mind get USE to it. They adapt to the negative. Yet, some say, "I'm NOT going to give up. I will continue to do the things I chose to do, yet, I will make modifications. I will work at building up MORE energy. I will Eat right, and Exercise. I will improve my stamina. I will overcome." In a lot of cases, they DO.

Exercise therapy, also known as "GET," tries to reduce fatigue and disability by gradually helping patients increase their activity levels to improve their overall physical fitness.

To explore which therapies or combinations of therapies might be best, 641 chronic fatigue patients from four different rehabilitation centers in Britain were divided up into one of four groups. Over the course of a year, all got standard specialist medical care, while three of the groups received one additional treatment: pacing therapy, cognitive therapy or exercise therapy.

White and his team found the greatest improvements in terms of both fatigue levels and physical function were experienced by those patients who were treated with standard therapy in combination with either cognitive therapy or exercise therapy.

What's more, patients who got a combination of standard treatment and pacing therapy fared no better than those who got standard treatment alone.

Specifically, 60 percent of the standard/cognitive or standard/GET patients experienced fatigue and function improvements, while 30 percent reported "normal levels" of fatigue and function. Half as many of the standard therapy alone or standard/pacing patients reported normal fatigue and function levels.

White noted that all the treatments were equally safe, and serious reactions were rare.

"Patients now have a choice of two moderately effective and safe treatments that can help them towards a healthier life," he said.

Dr. Nancy Klimas, chief medical officer at the Chronic Fatigue Center at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, noted that the merits of various therapeutic approaches to chronic fatigue syndrome are still a matter of debate.

"But here Dr. White is saying that cognitive behavioral therapy and graded exercise are moderately helpful, but not curative," she said. "And I would agree with that."

"On the other hand, it's also important to note that when we talk about helping patients increase their activity levels, we're talking about people who have very limited amounts of energy," Klimas added. "And you have to work within this 'energy envelope,' because if you push beyond the threshold they will relapse. So often, what we're talking about is about five minutes of exercise before taking a rest."

"In any case, I look at this as a first step," she said, "and anticipate more effective therapies, based on a better understanding of the biology of the illness, in the future."

Now I'm not going to disagree with Dr. Nancy Klimas, but I KNOW from experience, that, that "five minutes of exercise before taking a rest," can and most of the time WILL Lead to Ten Minutes. Ten can lead to Fifteen. So on and so forth.

It's like when you start lifting weights. At first, you can only lift X. Say 10 pounds. The more you lift that 10 pounds, the stronger you get. Now you can lift 15, then 20, ETC. Just like the Bike, or Running. At first you may only be able to go 5 minutes. But 5 can lead to 10 can lead to 15, ETC.

I see this as completely Logical. A positive mind, Exercise, along with some Natural and Standard Care? I would rather hit whatever it is on ALL fronts, than lay down, give up, and accept something that may very well be able to be changed.

The movement is growing. There IS a Conservative Ascendancy in America. The People spoke. They Elected People to do a Job. You want to know why I and many others were saying we need Adults to get back into Office to fix the things that the Juveniles messed up. Here is a CLEAR illustration.

In Wisconsin, The People Elect Gov. Scott Walker. The State is upside down by over Three Billion dollars. He makes some tough, and not so tough decisions, he sticks to them. He starts attempting to get things done. What do the Democrats do? They all load on a Bus, and skip out. What do the Teachers do? They refuse, which is illegal, to go to work. The KIDS suffer. What is the issue? Unions of course.

No. This is a bold political move, but it is a modest request of our employees. In fact, I should make it very clear: There are 300,000 state and local government employees. The vast majority of them for days have been showing up to work just like we paid them to do. The state senators who are hiding out down in Illinois should show up for work, have their say, have their vote, add their amendments. But in the end we've got a $3.6 billion budget deficit we've gotta balance, and I think for most people in the middle class outside of government they understand what we're asking for is still a lot less than what most of our average taxpayers are paying.

There 314 fire and police unions in the state. Four of them endorsed me; all the rest endorsed my opponent. For us it's simple: We cannot compromise for one minute public safety in this state. We've seen what's happened, unfortunately, with a number of our schools. It is illegal to strike in this state. We can't compromise our public safety. The millions and millions of taxpayers in the state have a right to be heard as well, and we can't raise taxes to balance this budget or we'll cripple the economy that already has about a 7-1/2% unemployment rate. To show that we're open for business we've gotta make it easier to put people to work here, and asking employees to pay half the national average for health care is truly a modest request.

What about the Democrats that skipped town?

I continue to work, and I'm calling on the members of the State Senate to show up and do the job that they're paid to do as well. On behalf of the people who pay their salaries, show up to work. They get paid to come to work and they should be coming to work. You can't have "conversations" if you're not at work.

They're hiding out in another state. They're hiding out in hopes that somehow that will test the resolve. If anything, I think it's made the Republicans in the Assembly and the Senate stronger. They're not gonna be bullied; they're not gonna be intimidated.

THAT is the sentiment, the GROWING sentiment in this Country. The American People asked the Liberal Leadership to slow down. Stop the Out of Control Spending. DO YOUR JOB. They said "Screw YOU!" The American People said NO to Obamacare. The Liberal Leadership said "Screw YOU! You will be part of it or else." Well this past Election, the People said "SCREW YOU. We will NOT be Bullied." State after State are standing up and asking "Why?" "Why are we doing all these things we can't pay for?" Governors, State Governments, TRUE Leaders are starting to stand up. They are saying "No more."

Congratulations Gov. Scott Walker. For having the Courage and the resolve to stand up and say "Enough is enough. Time for a Change." Do not give up. The President may be against you, but the American PEOPLE are behind you. Keep up the Good Work.

Time to wrap things up with the Idiot of the Week. This week was pretty easy. I mean, I know that this guy is doing his Job. He is TRYING REALLY HARD to do his Job. He is persistent. He is frustrated. He just ends up making up the outcome he was TRYING to do. However, it is a CLEAR message. One that his Boss already knows. The magic is gone.

Do you remember when Obama was running? Right after he won? He would travel, not only around the Country, but all over the World. Wherever Obama went, he was treated like a Rock Star. A Superhero. A god. He was the Magic Man. The One. People cheering, and fainting. Etc.

Now? He is no longer the Magic Man. He is no longer a god. He is no longer a Superhero, nor a Rock Star. The majority of Americans want him to leave Office after one term. No matter how hard the Obama State Run Media tries, the American People are having none of it.

However, SURELY the World loves us now. They still love Obama, So they go over to Egypt to find some people to put on Camera. They send our Idiot over there. Senior International Correspondent for CNN Nic Robertson.

ACHMED: We don't know, actually, who he supports. He serves for his own purposes, and the Egyptian people serve for our freedom and democracy. Any democratic country should see for the people, not for its own purposes.

ROBERTSON: Mustapha is joining me now. We just heard President Obama say that he wants to extend, eh, support and assistance to Egypt and Egyptians if they want any, and he hopes that there are more jobs for the young people in the future. What's your message for President Obama?

MUSTAPHA: Well, my message to President Obama is just, "We started this revolution without any outside help, and we are going to finish it also without any outside help."

Translation? Obama WHO? But it's our Idiots Job to get someone to praise Obama. He persists with Mustapha

ROBERTSON: Are you pleased that President Obama has come out, however, now and said he supports this change and supports the people and supports the young people and -- and what they've done?

MUSTAPHA: Well, actually President Obama's views were kind of conflicting during the last week but now he's saying that he's supporting the change.

{Laughing} So try as hard as he could, he could NOT find someone to Praise Obama. He could not find someone that was even HAPPY with Obama. So how does he report this?

ROBERTSON: The view from here is one of very happy to now hear that President Obama has swung behind the people.
