IWA for Sunday 030809

Our Idiot needs to do more Homework.

Hey folks,

It's Sunday, Time for the IWA. You knew I had to do this one. You just knew it. There is no way I could let all these gaffs pass by unnoticed.

OK. You are President and you pick someone to be your voice and send them out into the world. Would you NOT mandate them to do their homework first. Seriously, these are suppose to be the smartest people in the room.

First we have our Idiot go to Geneva to present Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov with a red button. {Laughing} That all by itself it stupid. But it was suppose to be a symbol of a renewed relationship. It was suppose to be "Reset" in Russian. According to her, They worked "very hard" in getting the right word,,,well here is the exchange.

Lavrov: "Thank you very much."

Hillary: "You're very welcome. We worked hard to get the right Russian word. Do you think we got it?"

Lavrov: "You got it wrong."

Hillary: "I got it wrong?"

Lavrov: "It should be perezagruzka."

Hillary: "Ahhhhh!"

Lavrov: "Your sign say 'peregruzka,' which means 'overcharge.'"

Hillary: {witch cackle}: "Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Well, we won't let you do that to us. I promise."

Lavrov: "Okay, thank you very much."

Hillary: "Thank you so much."

Lavrov: "It will be on my desk."

I bet it will be on his desk, it will be there to show how stupid Americans are. Notice his hand jester? He is giving America the Middle Finger. But then we have our Idiot Clinton getting all tongue-tied.

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - Hillary Clinton raised eyebrows on her first visit to Europe as secretary of state when she mispronounced her EU counterparts' names and claimed U.S. democracy was older than Europe's.

She actually said this.

"I have never understood multiparty democracy.

"It is hard enough with two parties to come to any resolution, and I say this very respectfully, because I feel the same way about our own democracy, which has been around a lot longer than European democracy."

The remark provoked much headshaking in the parliament of a bloc that likes to trace back its democratic tradition thousands of years to the days of classical Greece.

One working lunch later with EU leaders, Clinton raised more eyebrows when she referred to EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana, who stood beside her, as "High Representative Solano."

She also dubbed European Commission External Relations Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner as "Benito."

"Benito"
{Laughing}

But that's NOT IT!! Then she made what seems to be an outright policy statement. She comes right out and tells you exactly how this new Administration sees things. Remember this?

"Never let a serious crisis go to waste. What I mean by that is it's an opportunity to do things you couldn't do before." White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel

Yeah like bringing about Socialism and a Dictatorship. But SHE just said the same thing. Only she called the crisis "good." I'm not kidding.

"Never waste a good crisis ... Don't waste it when it can have a very positive impact on climate change and energy security," she said.

Folks, they are coming right out and saying that they LOVE Crisis and they USE these crisis to further their agendas. But we already knew this.

Congratulations Hillary, for failing to do your homework, and making a fool of yourself on the national stage, you ARE the Idiot of the Week. Now go and tell people how great the Utopia of Universal Healthcare really is. You know, tell the people overseas who are living through it, just how great it really is.

Hey Brewmaster,

Welcome to the OPNTalk Blog. Good to have ya.

"Judging from comments on the various message forums Americans are gullibly buying the simplistic explanation that our State department supposedly doesn’t know how to translate the word “reset” into Russian. Nonsense!"

Nice try. But the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov even came right out and said "You got it wrong." {Using Russian accent} {Laughing}

It was Hillary herself that said it was suppose to be "reset" Not Overload. Nice try though.

"anyone that knows how to type a few letters into an online translation website can easily figrue that much out."

{Laughing} That's true. That is also what I was thinking. But, uh, they ain't that smart. {Smile}

Thanks again. Stop by often. You never know what you may see here.
